In a po there is a delivery tab where we set reminders 1,2,3
how is this functioning with delivery date as well as how are the reminders send to vendors

The standard o/p type used for dunning is MAHN.
If you have already done customising for o/p type NEU in case of PO , the same customising applies to MAHN , only the o/p Form may Change.
Maintain the condition records in MN04 and monitor the same in Transaction ME91F.

I tried in safe mode and the tab key worked just fine. I'm not sure about all web forms I've only recently updated to 7.0. The wen form I was using was for appraisal purposes and it has multiple data fields to fill in and also drop down menus to select from. Might I always have to use Firefox in safe mode to be able to utilize the tab between field feature? Thanks for your help!

Delivery Output determiantion using Delivery type & Item category

Dear all,
I am facing a problem while triggering output using Delivery type/Item Category access in access sequence xyz. I have maintained the condition record for this access and did all the necessary customization settings.
When i maintain the condition record for other access in Access sequence xyz the out put is being triggered.
After some analysis i found that the Delivery type/Item category is using different communication structures.
ie. Delivery type is using KOMKBV2-LFART. where as Item Category is using KOMPBV2-PSTYV. The output is a header output.
can any one explain the problem here in maintaining different comm structures for an access for generating header output.

Hi,
You mean to say its not triggering the output automatically.....
If that is the case then goto the condition type in IMG and in tab "default values" make the dispatch time as "send immediately when saving the application" this will automatically triggers the output based on the condition records.....

Tab key no longer moves between text fields on a web page

Since upgrading to Mac OS X 10.4.9, my Safari v. 2.0.4 (419.3) is suffering from a bizarre symptom: the tab key no longer moves the insertion point among the various single-line text-entry fields on a page, but rather inserts a tab character within the field! Shift-tab, which used to move the insertion point back one field, does nothing.
Interestingly, when in a block-text field -- such as the one I'm using to compose this message topic -- the tab key takes me to the next field as expected. It also works when the insertion point is in the URL field or Google search field in the browser interface itself. It's only when I'm typing into a web page itself that it doesn't behave properly.
Makes filling out long forms a real pain.
Surely this isn't happening to everyone, or someone else would have mentioned it ... but can anyone reproduce it? Got any suggestions for clearing it up? I'm not running any exotic Safari add-ons, just the usual complement of plug-ins, none of which seem relevant to this problem, which involves normal HTML web pages.

There were no file changes to Safari in the 10.4.9 update. There were a number of file changes to the System Library, however, these types of changes usually affect applications across-the-board. MacFixit has a special report and related issues and work-arounds on their site. Not sure if you need to be a subscribed member to see the information, however, it might be worth a look.
FWIW, I haven't seen any mention about the problem you reported on their forum, or home page report.
I suggested your marking the thread "answered" as I thought you were complete with the thread given the disappearance of the problem. I'll be curious to see who else posts a similar problem.

Get Siri to set location reminders (using multiple reminder lists)

I found a way to get Siri to set location reminders using multiple reminder lists (but you can just use one list too):
First make additional lists in the reminder app: click list button (the lines on the left) > edit > create new list > done. Make as many as you want. I have grocery, home, personal, business, family.
Let's say you want a reminder to pick up apples when you get to the apple store. You must add the location in your contacts to your name in contacts.
Do the following:
In maps app find the location with search.
Tap the blue arrow > Add to contacts > Add to existing contact
Choose your name in contacts. It will be added under your address for home or work so you will need to edit it:
Click Edit.
Click on the small label on the left of the new address - it will just say "address"
Scroll to bottom of page and click on Create custom label
Enter the location name like "Apple Store". Click Done.
Important Note: You will need to delete the url it adds under your home url section and maybe other things it messes up with the new contact info instead of yours - so check all the fields each time you do this.
To make a location based reminder using a specific list you must open that list yourself - Siri will not open it for you.
Example:
Open grocery list yourself in the reminders app
Tell Siri something like: "remind me to pick up apples" (Do not mention the location yet - if you do it will not work)
Siri will ask: "When should I remind you?"
Say: "When I get to the apple store"
Siri will say she will remind you and you will see the location reminder in the grocery list.
This is how it works for me but if you know an easier way let me know! This is beta so I'm sure it will get easier.

I have one thing to add. You don't have to open the list manually. Tell Siri: "Add to my <listname> list". For example, if you have a list named "Work", tell Siri: "Add to my work list". Siri will reply, "What should I add to your 'Personal' list?
and you can continue from there.
There is a syntax for doing all this in one sentence, but I find it only works about half the time. Too many fields for Siri to parse in her current Beta stage

Why would my PDF Form print out the tab order on top of my form fields?

When this user prints out the filled out PDF form we created, it prints the tab order as a little square numbered box right on top of the form field entry. The tab order prints over all types of fields, text entry fields, check box fields, etc.
I am not sure if this issue is related to someone using a non-Adobe PDF reader, or an issue with their printer? Unfortunately, we cannot duplicate this issue ourselves and are hesitant to interrogate our client futher on the matter.
Has anybody else ever seen this type of print out from a PDF form issue?

This is a form saved to Enable User Rights so PDF viewers can fill out and email or save the form. After seeing your question, I opened the form for editing (actually saving a copy first that was not restricted, and editing the copy). I then toggled the Tab Numbers on via Tools > under the Forms header I clicked Edit > Other Tasks > Edit Fields > Show Tab Numbers. After revealing the tab numbers I then tried to save the form as a Reader Extended PDF, but the Enable Additional Features option was grayed out. Even if I wanted to, I could not save the form with the tab numbers revealed.
The form itself was also received by our company electronically and when viewed does not show the tab number order and when we print it, it prints as expected (no tab order numbers).
We are suspecting that this may be an issue either with the end users printer? Or possibly viewing and printing via an alternate viewer like Foxit?
Anybody run across this odd behavior?

Use of alternative field label in TMW

Hi,
I'm using a customer-specific field under
IMG>Time Management>Time Manager's Workplace
>Screen Areas>Time Data>Define Table for Time Events
and I want to change the field description displayed in TMW under the Time Events tab.
I've tried to use the alternative field label, but it doesn't work. Am I missing a step? Does anyone have any idea how to configure this?

Getting delivery number by using Purchase order number

I need to get a delivery number for a perticular Purchase order number.give me the sap tables link for getting the delivery number by using the purchase order number.

'Likp' for delivery number and
'ekbe' for purchase order.how we can link these 2 tables?

U can use the field BELNR field EKBE to link the two tables..please not that it is only valid for VGABE = 8.

I am sorry, my question is a little bit more complex. I hope I may repost here, without opening another thread. Thank you for your understanding.
The EQUIPE_ID column of the table refers to a team. This id is returned by a select list named :P60_EQUIPE_ID which select all the EQUIPE_ID available. Then if one choose a team in this select list, the choosen EQUIPE_ID is returned. If nothing is selected in the select list, then a null value is returned.
The AGENT_ID refers to a person. This id is returned by a select list named :P60_AGENT_ID, which returns all the members of the previously selected EQUIPE_ID. If nothing is selected, then a null value is returned.
A team may have several persons belonging to that team.
I would like that if a TEAM is selected, without selecting an agent in the :P60_AGENT_ID select list (returning a null value in this case), then all the people belonging to that theam will be retrieved by the select QUERY of a report.
Then one could refine the query by selecting a person in the :P60_AGENT_ID select list in order to view only the people of that team in the report.
To resume :
IF EQUIPE_ID is NULL -> all the teams and all the persons are displayed in the report.
IF EQUIPE_ID is NOT NULL and :P60_AGENT_ID is NULL -> All the people of that selected team appears on the report
IF EQUIPE_ID is NOT NULL and :P60_AGENT_ID is NOT NULL -> The report displays only the results of the query for that person of that team.

Finding material doc given delivery no ( without using VBFA table )

I need to find out material document no given delivery document no, using data base tables . Using VBFA table is ruled out due to performance issues .
What is the way to do this ?

As an ABAPer, I can assure you that you will get much better performance with VBFA than with any other table. In VBFA you'll be searching by the VBELV and POSNV, which are the primary key. This should work quite fast, as long as the SELECT statement has been programmed correctly. I bet the poor performance has been caused by an inefficient SELECT statement. If you post the code fragment here, I might be able to suggest some improvements.
In MKPF you'll have to search by LE_VBELN field, which is not part of the primary key or any standard indexes. This will be very inefficient and I would not recommend that.

Goods Receive for Outbound Delivery Without Reference using MIGO

Dear Colleague ...
We might need your insight on the case below related to Goods Receive of Outbound Delivery without Reference using MIGO:
(1) In the current SAP Enjoy screen of MIGO, we are allowed to select the reference document (e.g. = PO, Material Document, Inbound Document, Outbound Document, etc.)
(2) We did 3 (three) kind of test set: GR for Inbound Delivery, GR for Outbound Delivery with STO and GR for Outbound Delivery without reference.
(3) The first 2 (two) cases work just find with MIGO. We believe it is because the receiving plant is pretty much determined in the reference document, which is PO (case 1) or STO (case 3)
(4) However, the last case came up with the error message "Goods receipt not possible for delivery 8000610236: error code 5". We believe that this is the standard design of SAP, that the receiving plant is required and it is not defined explicitly in the delivery document.
(5) Moreover, we also believe that that's the reason why SAP (via the Logistic Execution module) provide the Handling Unit and Shipment, which can be used to perform such receive function, which will imply the MM posting (goods issue and goods receive) IF there is stock transfer involved.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

I am looking for an app for my iPad that can be used to record field work information in a specified format, with the ability to draw diagrams if necessary, and include photos taken from the iPad.

Any suggestions for apps that could do this?
It will be used to collect field notes for daily use on a biological field study site. It would be optimal if the information could be collected in a manner that can be moved easily into excel as well. Most of the data will be qualitative descriptions, and some of it quantitative numeric (time stamps etc). We want to make it extremely easy for the user to enter information, such that we will set up a template and the technicians can fill out the individual fields in that template with minimal software knowledge required.

I looked at Bento and at first glance I think it would do everything I want it to do, then I saw a review or something from a customer that indicated the information in Bento could not be exported (say to send out a mailing). I may want a program that can do that as well, is there one out there? If not it does look like Bento will work. When you save a picture to a customer in Bento can you open it up full size?

Can You Use A Report Field Value In A Hyperlink?

I have a report field that I would like to be a link to another application. Making a report field a hyperlink to a web page was nice and simple. However, I was expecting to be able to use the value of the field in the hyperlink something like...<a href="http://mywebsite/controller?action=servlets.ReportAlertDetailListAction&key={AlertSearch.ALERT_KEY">http://mywebsite/controller?action=servlets.ReportAlertDetailListAction&key={AlertSearch.ALERT_KEY</a>}...where AlertSearch is the table name and ALERT_KEY is the field name. Is there a way to use a report field in a hyperlink? Would using a formula allow it to be dynamic? The goal is to have each row of the report link to a URL with a different parameter. I can see eventually redoing it as a drill down feature but the detail I need already exists in a separate application.Thanks,Ed

I believe the conditional formula that you would use (don't just type in the text box - press the button for the formula first).

The key is toÂ use the conditional formula feature of the hyperlinkÂ feature.Â
