Table control- add a new row

I have a table control on a custom screen with some data from data base table in non-editable mode. Now, when I click insert button, it should create a new row in table control in editable mode. I tried loop at screen and modify screen but no luck. Can somebody please help me?

Add a new row at the top of a table in GUI

Hi,
I am using JDev 11.1.1.1.0. I need to be able to let users add a new row at the top of a table and not anywhere else in the middle of table rows. I cannot seem to find a way to do it. note that it does not matter where a new row gets inserted in the db, i am only concerned about restricting the insert in the GUI to the topmost line/row.

How do I add a new row to an AbstractTableModel?

I'm having an issue with adding new data to a table row. Every row I add contains the same data which is always the last data I grabbed from my database. I'm not sure if my issue has to do with how I set up the data to be passed or the table itself or both... Any help would be appreciated. It seems like the tablemodel is holding the memory spot ArrayList I'm passing. If I have to set up an arraylist of arraylists, to pass how do I do that?
My output is always:

How to set a default value in an ADF table when adding a new row

Hi Guys,
I have a view object which I am using to create an ADF table. I also have a button which uses a CreateInsert binding to add a new row to the table. I have four fields: created_by, creation_date, last_update_by and last_update_date.
I want these values to be set automatically when I click add new row.
The values I want are:
created_by - admin
creation_date - sysdate
last_update_by - admin
lsat_update_date - sysdate
Any suggestions on how to do this would be appreciated

Those four fields can be set completely declaratively in the Entity Object (check out the History Colum feature). Copied from the (11g) documentation:
If you need to keep track of historical information in your entity object, such as when an entity was created or modified and by whom, or the number of times the entity has been modified, you specify an attribute with the History Column option selected (in the Edit Attribute dialog).
If an attribute's data type is Number, String, or Date, and if it is not part of the primary key, then you can enable this property to have your entity automatically maintain the attribute's value for historical auditing. How the framework handles the attribute depends which type of history attribute you indicate:
* Created On: This attribute is populated with the time stamp of when the row was created. The time stamp is obtained from the database.
* Created By: The attribute is populated with the name of the user who created the row. The user name is obtained using the getUserPrincipalName() method on the Session object.
* Modified On: This attribute is populated with the time stamp whenever the row is updated/created.
* Modified By: This attribute is populated with the name of the user who creates or updates the row.
* Version Number: This attribute is populated with a long value that is incremented whenever a row is created or updated.

How many records do you show in your detaii region and how many are there for that master? Maybe the new row is in the next set of records - or at the 'bottom' of the last set of records?
Did you check if the row is inserted in the database (and just didn't show up for one reason or another)?

Hi Bharat,
First thing is you need to have the access key to change any standard dictionary object/standard programs/ standard transactions.You may get this from your basis person after getting approval from your respective manager.But changing or modifying the standard object is not recommended, but if there is no alternate to meet the business requirement then we have to follow this way only.
Next, you need to check whether this table's primary key is being used in any other table as foreing key or not. If there is, then you must remove this relation and then you can delete the unncessary primary key field from that table.Finally you can add the two new fields and set them as primary key, save, check for any errors and activate.

But here is my problem how can i align Title(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) center of pdf report with image named:logo5.png immediately coming to it's right?.
As the problem i am facing is my title or Header(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) is at top of my image named:logo5.png and not coming to it's center position of my image.
Second the problem i am facing is how to add new entire row to top of existing table in pdf report from c# windows form using iTextSharp?.

I’m sorry for the issue that you are hitting now.
This itextsharp is third party control, for this issue, I recommended to consult the control provider directly, I think they can give more precise troubleshooting.

But in 3.0.1 it gives this error :
Error in add row internal routine: ORA-01476: divisor is equal to zero
Error Unable to add rows.
I am not sure why this happens.

How can I add a new row into an array bases on a1D array

I build a FieldPoint application with LabView 7.1 RealTime. I've a measurement loop with 1Hz sample rate. I sample 5 channels and put them into a 1D array. Presently I write directly to a cvs file but this I've to cahnge because my loop slows down to 0.2 Hz.
I want to sample my data the hole day (86400 loops) and save them inside of an array. When the time is over I want write the hole array (table) to the file.
How I can do this or hoow I can add my 1D array to a new row in my 2D array?

Table control enable and disable rows

Hi,
I want to keep the table control in disabled mode initially.
When user press the add button,the row next to where data is already present should alone be enabled for data entry.
In PBO event i was able to disable the entire table control.but when i could not find a way to identify the first blank line to enable it for data entry.
