Table Control - Converting a Column to Check Box

Hi,
I need to have Check Boxs for 3 Columns in the Table Control of a Module Pool Programming Screen. Can you please suggest me how to do it?

In the Attributes of the Table Control u could enable the
w/ selcolumn check box to get the first checkbox.
For getting the 2nd and 3rd column as checkbox
Declare 2 fields in the itab u r using for the TC
Check like DD03D-KEYFLAG
Add these fields in the TC ,

Hi Moni,
The Problem is with the READ statement.
READ TABLE TCL1-COLS ASSIGNING <FS_TCL1> WITH KEY FLAG = 'X'.
The structure of TCL1 is different from what you think. TCL1 will be a deep structure with an internal table COLS. Now this internal table COLS will have the standard structure:
SCREEN
INDEX
SELECTED
VISLENGTH
INVISIBLE
The Read statement tries to find a field of name FLAG in the TCL1-COLS structure. Therefore you get the error.
Try to read the COLS table with a correct key.

How to put check box in a table format at the out put ? Urgent issue...

Hi,
I am working an assignment to assign multiple roles for multiplr user.
In selection screen we have to enter mutiple EMPNO from ..to
1) in second screen we will get the empno, First name, last name, Position,
    From date, To date, Sap user ID, Email id in the table formate with first
    column with Check box.
2) In second screen below the table I have to place the multiple roles just like in
   the step loop format and below this one Execute button should be there.
If we select the multiple employees or single employee and place the multiple roles or single roles and if I click the execute button then the multiple roles will be assigned to the multiple employees. The empno and roles will come from table and step loop to internal table and the same will pass to the BDC.
For this requirement I prepered recording for Transaction PFCG. But I can't understand how to design the second screen that table format and the step loop format. Can anybody give any idea or any coding to design the second screen.
and how to meet the requirement. This is urgent issue. Good SDN points will be reworded.

There are slight changes in the sivas code.Where is the data coming into the table.If its from a Model Node then iterate each element of the source node get that value compare and set the corresponding value in the element of the node binded to table.
Create a boolean attribute "select" in the table node and bind it to checked property of the check box.

see that in the table control u can get the table field for all the rows even though you are processing on some fields .
so what u do is make that particular filed masked(no i/p field and populate the field that will be better instead of populating all the columns okay.

Urgent Help Required for Check Box in Table Column

Hi all,
Could any body help me to solve my problem?
First of all I have created a table whose one column is check box. The column of the tables are Name,Phone,ID,Address and a checkBox columns.In one view
the table will be found with data. I want to click on some of the rows(suppose there are 5 rows, but based on some condition I have selected the check box of 3 rows).
Next there will be a button(Supose SEND Button).
After selecting the check box I want to press that button and then a new window will come which will show two tables. one for selected rows(with the same columns name except check box) and another for Unchecked rows with the same column name(Name,Phone,ID,Address).
Could any body help me by sending the details and code?

1) create custom controller and appropriate context structure there (dataNode(Name,Phone,ID,Address,Check))
2) create view StartView. Map data node from custom controller to node in view. Create table and bind context node attributes to appropriate table columns.
3) create view ResultView. Map data node from custom controller to node in view. Create 2 nodes (CheckedData, UncheckedData) with supply methods. Create filtering implementation in supply methods (add checked and unchecked node elements to appropriate nodes).
4) create new window with resultView as default view
4) in startView in button action handler put something like
     IWDWindowInfo _windowInfo = wdComponentAPI.getComponentInfo().findInWindows("Popup");
     IWDWindowManager manager = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager();
     IWDWindow _window = manager.createWindow(_windowInfo, true);
     _window.open();
So, just tried localy and it works.

Table control - validate column

Dear VC Experts,
we are using VC with a RFC Data Service. On the output port we create a table control with following columns for example:
- Amount /MENGE (mandatory field)
- Checkbox type /BOOL1 (mandatory field) - true,false
- Expression Box / STATUS2 (validate amount and Checkbox) --> true, false
For the expression box we use the formula:
BOOL(@BOOL1==true AND @MENGE==0 OR @BOOL1==false AND @MENGE<>0)==true
This seems to work. Result: true, false
Further we have a button, which has to be disabled if the Expression Box has the status "false".
I dont know how to check all the values in the expression box. The button only gets disabled, if i select a specific row with the status 'false'. I would like to check all the valus in my table control, not only the selected one.
On the properties tab for my button i use the formula:
CONTAINS(#ID[ACC153]@STATUS2,'false')==true
Maybe any suggestions to check all the values in my table column? How can i check all the values in my column 'STATUS2' which contains true or false?

Hello,
I think you need to attach the output of your table to the input of the form that contains your button, so that this form "is aware" that you have changed the selected line.
Then you assign an action to the mapping and to the column so that when you click on a line of the table it "calls" the form.
You can give it a try, but I'm not sure of this.

How to add unique id to check box in a table

Hi Experts,
I have a static table in which more than 500 records appears in the table, so vertical scroll is displaying in the table. In each row, check boxes and text boxes displays with the data. When the check box is selected, I will do the calculation based on the selected check box and displays the calculated value to text control of respected row. To achieve this, I am triggering the event iterating the loop over the context to find which check box is selected. When the page gets refreshed, cursor moves to first record.
Since all the check boxes having the same id, I am not able to get from which check box this event has got triggered.
Is there a way to assign unique id to each check box so that I can assign parameter to the control and get from which check box event got triggered. I have tried to generate the table dynamically, even there I couldn't assign id to each check box.

It is not specific to any platform but common in all whether is CE or 7.0 follow the given procedure
1. Create a common onLeadSelect of table say it      selectedRow
2. Assign the same event in onToggle     selectedRow of checkbox.

i believe you need to delete a row from the control table based on the user input...
if thats the case then definitely in the control table the multiple line selection will be activated .

if not delete the record and give message

b)similarly inside the PBO write code to fetch the name1 from Kna1 table for the ship to number if that ship to number is not empty
in PBO of that screen

Adding a new column in table control of MIGO

Hello,
I want to add a column in the itemlist table control (screen 200) of MIGO to show the batch's case qty. I used an example in BAdI MB_MIGO_BADI to add a new header tabstrip but the itemlist table is still pointing to MIGO's table control screen 200 ( used in subscreen SUB_ITEMLIST ). I want to show my table control which has the added column instead.
Does anyone have any ideas how to do this ?

Hi....
1. Goto that screen layout and make it change mode.
2. Follow the menu path -> goto-> secondary window-> dictionary/ program fields
3. select the reuired field
4. drag that into your table control , cretes new column
5. Also capture icon in the left side i.e. T for text make that in header area of new field.
6. Double click on this , give some name.
7. Save check activate

Check Box in a table

Hi
I have two tables each with 2 columns.First Column is a check box and the second column is Name field.Am getting User and group names from UME API into the name field of the first table.
Now if i check a single box and click on a button the selected check box value should be populated in the Name field of the Second table.
Similarly if i check multiple check boxes all the Names for the checked boxes should be populated in the Second table on click of a button.
Also on click of another button and selection of single checkbox in the second table the selected value (note not the check box value but the Name column value in the same row as the selected check box) should be removed from the second table.
Similarly multi selection of check boxes.
Any help immediately is highly appreciated.

i tried with the below code but the values are not getting populated in list box. please give your ideas.

Dymanic Columns in Table Control

Hallo Experts,
I need to create dymanic columns in a Table Control. The column has to by dymanically created based upon a flag entry in one master table.
We have a master table with some rows with a flag entry as shown below,
TEXT                 FLAG
AAAA                  X
BBB                  X
CCC
DDD                 X
I have to show the above entries which are set (AAAA, BBB and DDD) as a columns in the table control.
My Table Control, already have many columns and on the top of that i have to populate this rows as a columns dymamically..
The sample table control structure should looks like the below,
PERNR   NAME   LAND1 AAAA   BBB    DDD
How to acheive this?

U need to change the attribute of the colunms of the table control, your table control is defined like the type TABLEVIEW:
CONTROLS <table contrl> TYPE TABLEVIEW USING SCREEN <screen number>.
The type TABLEVIEW is based on the type CXTAB_CONTROL, here there's the field COLS (like the type CXTAB_COLUMN) where the attribute of the columns are stored: u need to change the attribute of COLS.
COLS is an internal table, so u need to define a workarea based on CXTAB_COLUMN and set the attribute INVISIBLE in order to hide a certain colunm.
TYPE-POOLS: CXTAB_COLUMN.
DATA: WA_COL TYPE CXTAB_COLUMN.
LOOP AT <table control>-COLS INTO WA_COL.
   IF WA_COL-SCREEN-NAME = ...........
     WA_COL-INVISIBLE = 'X'.
     MODIFY <table control>-COLS FROM WA_COL.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.
Now u need to insert the right condition in order to show or hide a certain column

List box problem in table control

Hi,
I have 3 list box coloum in my table control.Based on the 1st list box selection i wanna fill the 2nd list box.
I used function code 'CUS' and made the Fct type <BLANK> but my problem is fuction code triggers PAI but i am not getting the values what i slected in the 1st list box.
Please help me.

Actually i resolved the problem the problem was with the function module...instead of VRM_SET_VALUES i tried F4_help...
