Table/Form within a Table cell

Hello,
I have a requirement to represent list within a list. For this the UI which is required is attached. What is the possibility of achieving this?
Regards,
Dhanya

I've tried the following in the
advanced properties but with no success.
<?if:number(EMPID)>6?>
<xsl:attribute
xdofo:ctx="block" name="text-align">center
</xsl:attribute>
<?end if?>
Change the attribute to the following and the formatting works.
<?if:number(EMPID)>6?>
<xsl:attribute
xdofo:ctx="block" name="background-color">red
</xsl:attribute>
<?end if?>
I'm previewing in PDF.
If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou
John.

  • Refresh table-form query on table only

    Hello,
    I have a group being generated as a table-form layout. What I would like is for the table page to be refreshed always on entry. I can't set the group requery condition to always, or "when entering the page" as then the view object is executed going navigating from the table page to the form page. This seems a very simple requirement to me but Im struggling to come up with an elegant solution.
    Basically what i need is the refreshCondition on the invokeAction binding executable to be "Always and layout=table".
    Any help would be greatly appreciated !
    Cheers,
    Brent

    How do you do this, if your current page is a .jsff and not a .jspx? When I look at the refreshCondition, a .jsff does not have access to the facesContext.
    Thanks,
    Michelle
    Since this question was already answered, I created a new thread:

  • Verticle Aligning a Form Within a Table

    I got a form code for our hotel reservations from the

    table. I have no problem aligning it center horizontally. I only
    know minimal html and would greatly appreciate anyone who can help!
    I've attached the code to look at.

    What 'vertical alignment' are you hoping to achieve?

  • How to define form within a table with two columns?

    Hallo,
    i want to design a form with two columns side by side.
    My way is to define a table within the form:
    <af:panelForm>
    <afh:tableLayout width="100%">
    <afh:rowLayout halign="left">
    <af:inputText value="#{bindings.StsNr.inputValue}"
    label="#{bindings.StsNr.label}"
    required="#{bindings.StsNr.mandatory}"
    columns="#{bindings.StsNr.displayWidth}"
    readOnly="true">
    <af:validator binding="#{bindings.StsNr.validator}"/>
    <f:convertNumber groupingUsed="false"
    pattern="#{bindings.StsNr.format}"/>
    </af:inputText>
    <af:selectOneChoice value="#{bindings.StammsaetzeStsEmpfangsart.inputValue}"
    label="#{bindings.StammsaetzeStsEmpfangsart.label}"
    tip="Brief, Fax, Mail">
    <f:selectItems value="#{bindings.StammsaetzeStsEmpfangsart.items}"/>
    </af:selectOneChoice>
    </afh:rowLayout>
    </afh:tableLayout>
    </af:panelForm>
    Is there a better way to do it?

    Hi reiasmus ,
    Try <af:panelForm row="X">, that specifies the number of fields by columns. If you have ten fields and you fix row="5", you will obtain two columns with 5 rows on each.

  • Tables Form element

    Hi Experts,
    Is it possible to create Table using Table Form element - in which I need a repeating text row for every line items (row).
    I can create the same using a repeatable subform - therefore want to know whether the same is possible in Tables Form element using Table assistant.
    Regards,
    Rohit

    I have found an acceptable workaround, where I don't have to update the HTML form.
    Basically, don't use the $_POST superglobal. Instead, access the raw post data with file_get_contents("php://input"); and parse the name/value pairs in a couple steps with explode().
    This way our HTML form which has a couple submit buttons can submit the form to both the PL/SQL action procedure and a PHP script without getting too ugly.
    If you're coding an HTML form which only submits to a PHP script, best to live the constraint that PHP wants multiple value inputs to be named like a PHP array.

  • Create a drop down list in a cell within a table ?

    Is there a way to create a drop down list in a cell within a table ? Like the way it can be done in ms word or excell ? I dont mean an interactive pdf/form. I want to create a table in indesign which has drop down lists other people can use to populate a table quickly.

    Not possible. InDesign isn't designed to be form-filling software. At best, it can create fields which can be passed on to a PDF file, which usually further has to be edited in Acrobat Pro.

  • Numbers ought to keep check box that allows carriage return within a cell universally within a table

    Apple really fell asleep at the switch when releasing its latest version of Numbers 2013 (3.2), because it ignored the universal learning styles of human beings who have used the software in earlier releases and seemed to change features with little consideration for the community as a whole.
    For example, why would you delete the feature that allows a user to turn-on or turn-off the "carriage return within a cell".  It seems smart of them to add the abilityt to simply press the Option key and hit return at the same time to allow a carriage return within a cell, but why would you DELETE the feature that allows returns within a cell universally within a table?
    And then the Inspector got completely revised.
    Time saved in creating technologies gets eaten up in having to relearn technology every time a new release is created that doesn't build on the previous release very well.

    Adamo,
    You are complaining to fellow users.  It is best to post your feedback to Apple using the menu item
    "Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback"

  • I'm having trouble converting a Word Form to a PDF form because the table cells are importing incorrectly. How can I fix it?

    I am converting a form from Word to PDF. The form includes several tables and the tables are converting with weird lines where the corners meet. I've tried everything. I've even retyped a portion of the form and tried importing it but it still had the weird lines. I'd rather not recreate the form in PDF because it's not short and I already have a perfectly good form to import. Any suggestions?

    What version of Word? What version of Acrobat? How exactly are you converting the file?

  • Is there a way to preserve interactivity within a table so that users of an iBook can enter new values in selected cells and have formulas recalculated with that input?

    I would like to include interactive tables that would recalculate using formulas I have written and values that the reader/user has entered into selected cells. The tables I've made in iBooks Author do contain formulas that work as expected...until exported to an iPad, then they look and act just like a static table. I am not looking for serious number crunching or high-end mathematics, although others might find great value in such capability.
    To work without a reader/user accidentally (or otherwise) altering formulas or formatting it would be necessary to lock some or most cells of the table. At present all cells are locked after export. Apple doesn't seem to envision or value the functionality of such a feature; it appears to me missing from Numbers as well.

    Should be near trivial to execute on with an app...
    As welll, I wouldn't be surprised if a dashcode widget would fit the bill.
    As always, feel free to use the 'Provide iBooks Author Feedback' menu item for features you'd like added in the future, etc.

  • Slide Effect within a Table

    I'm trying to add a simple Spry slide effect to some text on
    one of my web sites, however the text dissapears in IE7. I've
    managed to cut it down to the most basic code where the problem
    occurs and it turns out to be a table cell. I took the slide
    example and cut it down until it doesn't work. I'm referencing the
    css and js that comes with the spry 1.6 prerelease build. This code
    works fine in Firefox. If you remove the table tags, it also works
    in IE7. However, with the table tags present, the text doesn't show
    up at all in IE7 (although the background color does slide up and
    down). I'd like to be able to keep the table tags in my actual site
    because it helps to keep the shape of the page. I can't believe
    know one else has run into this issue, but I haven't found anything
    online. If you have any tips, please let me know. Otherwise,
    consider this a bug report.
    Here's the code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0

    http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional-dtd">

    .hideInitially{
    visibility: hidden;
    </style>
    </head>
    <body>
    <table><tr><td>
    <form method="get" action="grow_sample.html">
    <input type="button" onclick="slide_hidden.start();"
    value="Slide Example" />

    {duration: 500, from: '0%', to: '100%', toggle:true});
    </script>
    </td></tr></table>
    </body>
    </html>

    I am also having this problem. I've written a custom JSF
    component that could technically be used in all sorts of situations
    within an HTML page. During the initial component development, the
    case of adding the component within a table on IE was never tested.
    Only later when some other developer was reusing the component in
    another project did the Slide effect within a table in IE issue
    crop up. As it's a JSF component, there really isn't a very elegant
    way to move the javascript to another location within the HTML page
    and a previous poster pointed out. Help!

  • Referencing rows within a table

    Hi all,
    I don't know if this has been brought up before, and believe me I have looked, but here goes...  I have a table with many tens of rows.  Cell 1 of those rows is a checkbox with the exit event scripted as (formcalc)
    if
    (this.rawValue == "1") then
    form1.Main_Subform.GeneralTable.Row1.presence
    = "visible"
    else   form1.Main_Subform.GeneralTable.Row1.presence = "hidden"
    endif
    What I want to do is not have to put the above script in each event of each checkbox.  So is there a way of referencing all the checkboxes at once and having the same result of making the associated row go hidden if not checked?
    Also, I have a reset button for the form that I want to be able to reset all row presences to visible when clicked.  I should mention here that the form has several tables all with checkboxes in cell one and all with add buttons that addInstances at the bottom of the tables that I do not want reset with the reset button.  In short, the tables list controlled documents that need to be reviewed annually and that because of the sheer volume of them will need to be parsed out, and the parsing may or may not be entire tables and the tables need to be able to be added to.  Here is what I have regarding the reset of the presences of the rows (I have only just begun):
    xfa.host.resetData();
    form1.Main_Subform.GeneralTable.Row1.presence
    = "visible";form1.Main_Subform.GeneralTable.Row2.presence
    = "visible";form1.Main_Subform.GeneralTable.Row3.presence
    = "visible";form1.Main_Subform.GeneralTable.Row4.presence
    = "visible";
    So my question regarding the reset button is...  Is there a way of resetting the presences of all rows within either all tables or each table without listing each and every row individually within the click event of the reset button?
    Thank you all in advance.  -rpeterson

    Hi,
    You can add one more button to your form. On click event of this button you can put script, which will loop througth all rows of your table and check checkbox, if it will be checked then hide is bot - leas as it is.
    If you want to hide row after click on checkbox, you have to put scripts to each of it.

  • How can I make the GRID lines more bold within a table in the new Pages?  (Not the outline of a table)

    I can't find where to darken GRID lines on a table in the new Pages.  I can make the outline more bold, but not the grid lines within the table.  Is there a way to do this?  The default grid lines are far too faint.

    Yeah, the Help is missing a little.
    If you select the block of cells that you want to change, then in the Format inspector:
    Select the Cell tab
    Expand the Border section
    Set a line type
    Set a line width
    Choose a line color
    Choose one of the nine options for which borders get the new settings

    Chetan, can you be a bit more specific. What do you mea by 'till now'. Does this mean the next release can do it, or the current release shipped with Oracle 9i Application Server 1.0.2.0.0 for linux that I received.

  • Trinidad table/form too big in mobile page

    I was trying to emulate the demo at [http://download.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/jdeveloper/11gdemos/ADFMobile/adfmobile.htm] using my own data. I can't seem to get trinidad tables/forms to fit as nicely as the demo does within a 240x320 screen at design time. I set the width to 100% with no success. What other property/template should I set?

    Nevermind! Set the form font to be smaller and that helped.
