Table Log Material in Program RMDATIND

i have a question, when execute program RMDATIND and modify materials, What is the table where he keeps the log?

check cdpos and cdhdr
in cdhdr pass objectclas = 'MATERIAL',udate = your date , chngind = 'U'.
Then pass the retrieved values to cdpos like
objectid = object id from cdhdr, changenr = change number from cdhdr.

Truncate table and materialized view log

I user oracle 10 R2
I have a table and on that table a materialized view log.
I execute in a pl/sql procedure:
1) execute immediate('drop materialized view log on tab1');
then:
2) execute immediate('truncate table tab1');
3) Now I insert a lot of records in tab1
4) execute immediate('create materialized view log on tab1 WITH rowid INCLUDING NEW VALUES');
When I create the materialized view log I recieved this message:
ora32321: refresh fast on tab2 unsupported after detail table truncate
Why?

Refresh fast after truncate operation on container table is not supported, regardless the container table is or is not partitioned.
Perform a refresh complete.
ORA-32321 :
Cause:     A detail table has been truncated and no materialized view
     supports fast refersh after a detail table has been truncated

How can i log transaction codes, programes and tables used by a user?

Hi everyone,
i need to log transaction codes, programes and tables a user has used in a certain time. how can i trace that and is it possible with timestamps?
i tried something with the badi workload_statistic but thats not what i need. is there a simple function which can do that or is this really much more complicated?

In SE13 there is an option to log table changes for a table.
If you search for "SCU3" you will find plenty of information on this. Also search for "RECCLIENT" (without the "/") and you will find some more specialized threads.

Too Many Table logs in DBTABLOG, RSTBPDEL is taking too much time

Hi Experts,
In one of our CRM system, DBTABLOG table is logging one table which is having 1 Billion entries right now. Business dont want to switch off the logging at this moment. But the table is increasing rapidly 42 Gb per month. RSTBPDEL program is running from weeks to delete them, but no control on increment.
Can you please suggest any way to delete them quickly at first, so that my house keeping job will run daily and finish soon.

Hello Mohan,
The DBTABLOG table does get large, the best is to switch off logging. If that's not possible, increase the frequency of your delete job, also explore one more alternative have a look at the archival object: BC_DBLOGS, you could archive old records (in accordance with your customer's data retention policies) to reduce the size of the table.

How to determine Default Table Logging (log data changes )

Does anyone know how to view exactly what tables and related data fields have change logging enabled by default? I know that some of the standard reports will produce "edit reports" show who changed what field, when ,old and new values, etc, but I don't know how to determine where the data is retrieved from.
For example: If I look in the ABAP Dictionary at table LFA1, technical settings, it shows that log data changes is not "checked" or enabled. But if I run the standard AR Master Data Change Report, I get output showing valid field changes.
I have seen other threads that refer to SCU3 but I can't determine the above this from report.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I am aware, these are 2 different things.
There is table logging which is at the table level & if activated (i.e. it's listed in table DD0LV, PROTOKOLL=X and the table logging parameter is set in the system profile/s).
The second one is programatical logging for change documents when data is maintained though a program that has been written to include a log. I'm not sure how to identify a complete lit of these though unfortunately.

Table Logging

What is the best way to capture material determination changes?    The DBTABLOG table is 180GB in size so another way needs to be investigated other than setting on table logging for the material determination tables.
There is no built-in SAP change record functionality in VB11-VB13 like there is in (for example) VK11-VK13, price records.
I know this is a BASIS question but I cannot find a BASIS forum so I entered the question here because the tables are S/D tables.

Table and Materialized View in different namespaces?

I've just faced something completly new for me. It appears that there are two objects with the same name and owner. Table and Materialized View have the same names and when I look into system dictionary I can se sth. like that:
OWNER OBJECT_NAME OBJECT_ID DATA_OBJECT_ID OBJECT_TYPE NAMESPACE
USER_A USER_TABLE 159381 159381 TABLE 1
USER_A USER_TABLE 159382 MATERIALIZED VIEW 19
(I couldn't find how to write above with const length font).
Two object in different namespace? I thought that Tables and Materialized Vievs have the same namespace.
Can you please tell me how can I create objects to achieve above result? I would also be grateful if you tell me where to find that topic in documentation.

How to get data from an internal table in some other program

I would like to get data from the internal table in the other program. When I using FM "LIST_FROM_MEMORY" to get the data, it doesn't work and the exception is not fount.
If any special code need in the other program, like write data to memory .

How to track the session Logs ( SM35) in program

I want to track the SM35 logs in my program. Using log information i want to move the filure records, Success records and warning records spearately in my internal tabel.

The actual requirment is, i want to get back the error records in my program.....My program is running in back end once the session is over i need to get the error files back to my program. That file i want to store in comman folder....
after the session complet i want to get the error records in my program.....any bapi or functional module or methods is available for get the log information.....

Oracle equals_path condition NOT working with table and materialized view

The user i am using is xdb with dba role.
1.When i try to use the statement
SELECT PATH FROM xdb.path_VIEW
WHERE
EQUALS_PATH(res, '/home/OE/PurchaseOrders/2002')=1
the result is

2. When i drop the path_view and recreated it like materialized view with statement

Want name of table which stores all program names

I want to find all the custom programs (all Z programs)in the system.
Can any one tell me which table stores all the programs, t.code and stuff like that so that i can search for all the Z programs in it.
i tried TSTC and TSTCT, however I dont get as many entries I get when i do an F4 help search in SE11.
