Table with information of BIDs  from a vendor

Hello,
We are in a classical SRM 5.0 escenario and use the fucntionality BID invitations.
Im looking for  tables where the information of a Vendor bid is stored in SRM.
Especially the acceptance or rejection indicators of a BID.
Thanks for any reply,
Aart

Hi,
You can find all the info in tables BBP_PDHGP and BBP_PDIGP for all BID relatd info.
You could also use the  foll FM's :
List of bids from a  particular vendor:BBP_PD_QUOT_GETLIST
Bid details for a particular bid :BBP_PD_QUOT_GETDETAIL

  • Tables with varying columns imported from XML

    Hi,
    I have an XML file for a product catalog. Each product has Name, SKU, Image, Description and a Table with some data in it. Each table is different is size, varying number of columns and rows.
    I have anchored objects for some of the elements like Image or SKU in my template.
    When I load the XML I check 'Clone repeating elements' upon import so I can maintain the various anchored frames for my elements. However it breaks the tables. It appears that each new table is trying to copy the previous table's exact number of rows and columns. If I uncheck this option then I get the tables in right but I lose the rest of the formatting.
    Any idea how I can handle this?
    Thanks,
    Luke

    Luke,
    We had the same problem doing a table of data that had varying columns and rows. For us, this was handled by adding table information such as cell width and cellstyle on the incoming XML (generated through a backend system that was also gathering the data into XML files, through using xml templates). We found that placeholder tables were not an option if you wanted the columns to be flexible, so instead the tables were being built by the XML.
    If you are not using a backend system or don't have a way to customize the incoming data, I think you may be able to use XSLT as an intermediate way to apply more information to the XML (cell widths, etc) I am copying dummy tables below to show how the XML we used looked coming into the Indesign document. This code would all be contained within opening and closing "Root" tags in the XML. There are 3 separate tables (one called Summary, one actually called Table and one called Legend), each with its own cell widths and number of rows. The data container holds all tables, and a table growing in length will push the next table down on the page (or to the next page).
    Note that each table has a different tag (name), but is described as a table through the information contained in its opening tag's attributes. We also used both namespaces (4.0 and 5.0) to take advantage of cellstyle as well as pstyle tags in the table body, allowing each cell and copy block to be styled differently when needed.

  • Readonly table with where clause value from previous page

    Hi
    I am using jdeveloper 10.1.3.
    I have a globalhome page where the user enteres a reference number. i have a backing bean for the globalhome page that runs a method to run an sql that seraches for this reference number, if the reference number exsits the user is directed to a detail page.
    this detail page should display details of this reference number.
    i have set up a read only table to display this data based on a view object with a bind varaible in the where clause.
    however i am unsure how to set this bind varaible value to the reference entered in the first globalhome page.
    please can anyone advise how to do this.
    regards

    Hi,
    You can follow following steps to achieve this
    1) Write a custom method in your Application module like
    public void executeMyVO(String bindVarValue)
    MyVOImpl vo= getMyVo();
    vo.setNamedWhereClauseParam(<bind variable name decalred in VO>,bindVarValue);
    vo.execute();
    2) Expose the above method to client. (Right click AM-->Client-->Shift method from left to right)
    3) In the pagedef of globalhome page, create a method action for the aboce created custom method
    4) execute the method action from your backing bean after you run an sql that seraches for this reference number.
    Hope this help.

  • Importing tables with linked cell data from excel to indesign

    Hey,
    I'm designing a catalog and have been linking the tables in InDesign from a spreadsheet in excel. In my spreadsheet, I am linking cells from a master sheet to another sheet so that I when I update the information on one sheet, it will update throughout the spreadsheet.
    Now that I have the linked cells set up in my spreadsheet, I've inputed the tables into InDesign but: the table cells in InDesign containing linked cells from within the spreadsheet do not appear.
    I've gone through all the import table options in InDesign and cannot find a way to make it work.
    Does anyone have an answer or input?
    Thanks,
    KT

    When we are updating the excel sheet it automatically updates the link in InDesign and it's continually changing. Does CSV break the links in excel or does it keep them and allows InDesign to read the linked cells as well?
    Thanks for your response!

  • Extractor on Z table with currency fields referenced from T001

    Good morning.
    We have a requirement to extract a Z table (keys Material Number, Plant) to BW.
    In trying to build a datasource on this table, I get a message saying currency fields referenced from another table.
    So, the key figures in this Z table are referenced from T001 (which has Company Code as key
    How do I tie these two tables? I was thinking if I could get Company code from any of the Material Master tables then I could include that in the view but haven't been able to Material and Company Code relation yet.
    Any thoughts on how to go about building this datasource are greatly appreciated!

    In your datasource just include the table name and check the datasource it should be ok.
    The reason it asks for these tables could be that the Z table that you are using should be using a datatype "CURRENCY" and currency will by default have USD or EUR etc associated. So when you include the appropriate "T" table it knows to make connection. You need not have to write exits to populate the currency fields.
    Hope this helps.

  • Reading Data from a Table With an Expert

    Hi all - I'm trying to write an Expert in OWB that would read data from a table and create a new table based on that information. I have the table creation part down, but how can I read data from a table with an Expert? From what I've read, Experts only deal with metadata, and there is no mechanism in Experts to actually read data in the tables. Does OraTcl work in Experts? Has anyone ever came across this problem, and if so, how did you solve it? Thanks in advance for your time! - Don

    Hi Don
    Can also use Java and JDBC from within Tcl, see the routines in this file below, take modify or whatever;
    http://blogs.oracle.com/warehousebuilder/ombora.tcl
    source <dir>\ombora.tcl
    set g_user scott
    set g_upwd zzzzzz
    set g_hostname localhost
    set g_port 1521
    set g_srvname ora111
    oraconnect $g_user $g_upwd $g_hostname:$g_port:$g_srvname
    oraselect "select * from emp" ""
    As well as dumping the results to stdout (you probably want to comment that part out and change any other part you don't like), g_res is a ResultSet object you can use to do whatever.
    Cheers

  • MS Access Tables WIth Spaces

    Hi Everyone,
    I am trying to write an application which requires connection to an old MS Access database. Unfortunately some of the tables have spaces in the names. I can query all tables except those with spaces in the table names. I searched for how to quote tables with spaces in the FROM clause on the net and have tried the following:
    // Angled quotes
    String sql = "Select * From `Function Groups`";
    // double quotation marks
    String sql = "Select * From \"Function Groups\"";
    // single quotation marks
    String sql = "Select * from 'Function Groups'"
    // square brackets
    String sql = "Select * from [Function Groups]"
    I have set setEscapeProcessing to be both TRUE and FALSE in various trials as follows:
    stat.setEscapeProcessing(true);
    All of the above throws an exception from the Access Driver stating I have an error in the From Clause (Yes, there is a table called Function[space]Groups in the database). I am using the free MS Access driver which comes with Vista to connect to the read-only database via JDBC.
    I cannot just exchange spaces for underscores for other reasons.
    Does anyone know the special character used by the Access Driver to parse tables with spaces? Square brackets works with field names but not tables names :(
    All help appreciated,
    Tom

    Doh! missed out a keyword not a quoting problem at all - for interest angled quotes (`) work around the spaces in the table names.

  • Select only items from a vendor on PO

    Hello,
    When I create a Purchase Order from B1 2005, for a certain vendor, I'd like to see only the list with the items bought from that vendor when I select an item, instead of the entire list of items. Is there a configuration for that, or do I have to configure it on my own, by script?
    Thank you,
    Irina

    Thanks. I've understood the method, but I have a problem with queries.
    I have the following query for what i'm searching:
    SELECT T0.ItemCode FROM OITM T0 INNER JOIN OPOR T2 ON T0.ItemCode = T2.ItemCode WHERE T2.CardCode = $[OPOR.CardCode]
    but I get the following error:
    [SQL Server]"Incorect syntax near OPOR.CardCode".
    Also I get errors when I try to run the queries from the SBO_Help.chm samples.
    Do you have any idea why?
    Thank you,
    Irina

  • Is it possible to transport table with over 1500 entries?

    How can I transport a table with over 1500 entries from QA to Prod? It is not a Z table. Anyone have steps do that, please?
    Thanks

    Prakash,
    The delivery class of table AUFM (A) indicates that it is an application table, not a customising table and as such should not be transported.
    This table contains many foreign key filelds within it. If you transported this table alone to your production system you would probably render the system unusable.
    This table should only be copied as part of a client copy, when other related tables would also be copied.
    You should ask the person requesting the transport why they want to copy this table alone to your production system.

  • Change search results tile with information from just client table...

    Hello all,
    I am quite new in MSA development area. Could you please answer one specific question?
    I would like to enchance search results tile. I want to add two additional columns, but with information from ONLYclient table. For exapmle table Zclient. I would like to store this table only in IDES DB on laptop and not transfer it to CRM server.
    This table Zclient will have relation to other information which is now in search result tile.
    Is it possible to create BDoc with combination of data...from server and only from client DB?
    And could you please provide me some cookbook for enchacing Mobile application?
    Thanks a lot!!
    Best regards,
    Vera

    Hi Vera,
    What you want to accomplish is possible. Santosh is correct, you have to create your Zclient (CDB table) and query Z_BDOC on CRM server. Then, generate this Zlcient table and new Z_BDOC with a Client Console on the laptop, and that will create CDB table in your ides db and update tps file with new Z_BDOC.
    Then, in MAS, create a Business Query, with relation to new Z_BDOC. Generate that BQuery. Model your tile, so that it's using your new Business Query. You may need to do some coding as well.
    P.S. Cince data from this table won't be replicated to CRM, you still need to initially populate that table on every client ( sql query ? ).
    Let me know if you have any questions or need help.
    Regards,
    Vadim.

    The Oracle documentation has a good overview of the options available
    Generating XML Data from the Database
    Without knowing your version, I just picked 11.2, so you made need to look for that chapter in the documentation for your version to find applicable information.
    You can also find some information in XML DB FAQ

  • How to select all the colomns_names from a table, with their datatypes ..

    hi :)
    i would like to know, how to select in SQL all the columns names from a table with their datatypes so that i get something like this :
    Table 1 : table_name
    the column ID has the Datatype NUMBER
    the column name has the Datatype Varchar2
    Table 2 : table_name
    the column check has the Datatype NUMBER
    the column air has the Datatype Varchar2
    and that has to be for all the tables that i own ! ..
    P. S : i m trying to do this with java, so it s would be enough if you just tell me how to select all the tables_names with all their colums_names and with all their datatypes ! ..
    thank you :)
    i ve heard it can be done with USER_TABLES .. but i have no idea how :( ..
    Edited by: user8865125 on 17.05.2011 12:22

    Hi,
    The data dictionary view USER_TAB_COLUMNS has one row for every column in every table in your schema. The columns TABLE_NAME, COLUMN_NAME and DATA_TYPE have all the information you need.
    Another data dictionary view, USER_TABLES, may be useful, too. It has one row pre table.

  • Updating Oracle table with info from Sybase query

    I hope this is the correct forum for this question.
    I am fairly new to Java and JDBC. I am trying to figure out what the best method for updating information in Oracle tables with data from a Sybase table. I would prefer to use Oracle’s transparent gateway but this is not an option my company will pay for so I am creating a java stored procedure and using JDBC to connect to the Sybase database.
    The process I think I need to go thru is
    1.     Query an Oracle table to get the records that need to be updated and the “key” information to query the Sybase table with.
    2.     Use that result to query the Sybase database to get the fields that need to be updated in the Oracle table for those records.
    3.     Update the records on the Oracle table with the data from the Sybase query.
    I know I can just do this procedurally, row-by-row, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to accomplish this with SQL and no loops. Is there a way to make a result set available as a “SQL table” for another JDBC query?
    Basically what I would like to do is:
    OraQuery = “ select sybinfo from sometable where updated_date = null”;
    Statement orastmt1 = OraConn.createStatement();
    ResultSet Orars1 = orastmt1.executeQuery (OraQuery);
    SybQuery = “select update_date, sybinfo from sybtable where sybinfo = Orars1.sybinfo”;
    Statement sybstmt = SybConn.createStatement();
    ResultSet Sybrs = sybstmt1.executeQuery (SybQuery);
    OraUpdate = “update (select update_date from sometable, Sybrs where sometable.sybinfo = Sybrs.sybinfo) set update_date = Sybrs.update_date”;
    Statement orastmt2 = OraConn.createStatement();
    ResultSet Orars2 = orastmt2.executeQuery (OraUpdate);
    This may not be possible but if anyone has done something similar and wouldn’t mind sharing I would appreciate it. If there is a “better” way of accomplishing this I am open to suggestions.
    Thanks

    you can try using cachedRowSet() for the Oracle side query.
    The rows in this could be populated using the sybase side query's resultset and then all of this could updated into Oracle in one shot.

  • Join two tables with the same information

    I have a registration database. It references two other tables. I accept registrations from Faculty and from Students, but their information is in two different tables. Both have fname and lname. If they have people_id filled in, I want the fname and lname from the People table. If they have student_id filled in, I want it from the Student table.
    I've never done this sort of IF situation. Here are the tables:
    create table passport_registration (
         passport_registration_id NUMBER Primary Key,
         date_added date,
         student_id NUMBER REFERENCES students(student_id),
         people_id NUMBER REFERENCES people(id),
         passport_listing_id NUMBER REFERENCES passport_listing(passport_listing_id)
    create table PEOPLE (
    id NUMBER Primary Key,
    dateModified date,
    fname VARCHAR2(100),
    lname VARCHAR2(100)
    create table students (

         date_added date,
         s_uid VARCHAR2(50),
         fname VARCHAR2(50),
         lname VARCHAR2(50)
    Any sort of assistance is appreciated.
    Thank you.

    (It'd be helpful if you could edit your post and stick {noformat} before and after your sql statement - that will format it so that the (+){noformat} show correctly instead of being converted to the (+) symbol!)
    As to the questions:
    1. You've got two columns that have a decision to be made on them; you're going to need to write two sets of decision-making code, one for each column. I guess you could also do something like:select a.col1, d.col2, d.col3
    from table1 a, (select 'table2' cola, b.col1, b.col2, b.col3 from table2 b
    union all
    select 'table3' cola, c.col1, c.col2, c.col3 from table3 c) d
    where a.col1 = d.col1
    and nvl2(a.col2, 'table3', 'table2') = d.cola;
