Tables headers shown Blank when merged for some cases

Hello,
i was looking for an answer for this but couldnt find anything related.
I am working with SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI product 12.1.0.
The problem im having is that when working with tables and 2 rows of headers in order to have two titles in some of the columns (i mean a general header for several columns and a particular for each of them). This actually works ok but when i add columns to the left and, in the header, i merge the 2 rows, they look blank when i open the report in view mode (they look ok in edit mode).
Please your help if you know any way to work around this. I have tried a lot of things but they havent worked. A weird thing is that i have other reports like this and some of the work ok.

Tables not shown in connections tree for DB2 databases

Hi!
I often use SQL Developer to connect to our DB2 databases. However, when I expand the desired schema in a DB2 database, the Tables node is empty, although it should not be. There are tables in that schema and I can select data from them, so security is not an issue:
For example:
select tabschema, tabname from syscat.tables where tabschema not like 'SYS%' order by 1,2;
returns many schema names and table names is those schemas. Let's pick one, i.e table name METER_TYPE in schema METER ( there are 4 tables in schema METER)
select count(*) from meter.meter_type
returns: 38
However, the Tables node shows no tables. Tese tables are not Aliases (DB2 slang for synonyms) or views, however, those 2 nodes are also empty when they should not be - we have schemas with aliases and views, which are also NOT shown. The Index node is populated most frequently, but not completely (there are indexes missing).
Here are my details (don't be fooled by java 1.7, the behaviour is the same with 1.6):

It doesn't sound like this is the answer in your case, but here is a problem I had with tree icons in 6i which took me a while to figure out.
For some unknown and probably pointless reason, forms converts the tree query to uppercase before executing it. This can cause problems if the sql contains any hardcoded strings. In my case I was doing something like
decode(status,1,'red',2,'green')||icon_name
this resulted in REDicon when my icon was actually redicon.gif

Error "SSL: rc=-1 lib_not_found" when Indexing for some web repositories

Hi ,
i am getting for 2 repositories the error:
Returnvalue 16001 Message: SSL: rc=-1 lib_not_found
For other web respositories the search works fine. I configured the proxy system.
I have no SSL between Portal and TREX.
Any help is welcome.

TIFF images are shown as blank when embedded in some web pages

After I upgraded to Snow Leopard, I see blank the TIFF images displayed in some web sites, like for example any patent image in the www.uspto.gov web site.
This happens on both Safari and Firefox. They both use the QuickTime plugin (I have version 7.6.3).
However, if I drag and drop the TIFF image and save it in the local hard drive, local applications like Preview display the page correctly.
It seems to be an issue with QuickTime and possibly the MacBook model (I have a first generation MacBook Air, with the GMA X3100 Intel graphic card).
Has anybody experienced this bug?

Output shown blank when we run report in xml publisher using excel template

Hi,
1) We have a requirement where we need to run report to shown 100 columns. Since Microsoft word supports only 63 columns. So we are building the report template in Excel.
2) When I run the report in Excel locally I get the output. But when I uplaod in BIP server and then run the report It gives a blank output.

Pl post details of OS, database and EBS versions, along with the database characterset.
Are you creating PDF output ? Can you print Chinese characters when using US/UK operating units ? Are you using Pasta ?

Database wizard table headers are blank

This is an ongoing issue with crystal reports 2008. I have a progress Database with an ODBC connection. If I setup a connection to the database using the database wizard in CR 2008 I can see all of the tables, but if I add one of the tables to my report the table name does not display and I am unable to remove that table from the list. If I follow the same steps using crystal reports 11, this works without any issue. Does anyone know if this is a bug in crystal reports 2008?

Which database you are reporting off?
You can try following workaround and create indirect ODBC connection.
Create a report using OLEDB connection and select Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC drivers and then create a report .
This will point to your existing ODBC connection through OLEDB provider.
For the tables name that are blank do you have hyphen '-' in their names?
As advised by Jayendra you can try with Service Pack 1for Crysatl Reports 2008.

error available and sync properly. If user is not available in the User Profile List run Full Synchronization manually or add manually new User Profile to User Profile List.

Reader x 10.1.3 doesn't show print dialog when printing, for some users on Terminal Server

We are running Windows Server 2003 with Terminal Services for approximately 10 remote users.
A few days ago, some users started to complain about not being able to print pdf documents to their printer. I discovered that the print dialog box doesn't open, so they can't even select another printer.
If reader is set to open in browser, it just crashes the browser, if it set to open in Reader itself, it does nothing, no dialog,
I've tried removing the printer and reinstalling. Since it works from the console without issues, I thought it may be permissions related, so I added users to administrators group, with no success.
They can print from Outlook, Word, etc....just not pdfs.
Can anyone help?

Billing split for some cases

Hi friends,
We are using batch job to create billing documents.
program used is SAPMV60S
Everyday this batch job runs at night time but some times billing is getting split into TWO for only one delivery.
There is no split criteria set in copy control.
And this is hapeenig randomly.I have created same case in quality server but there ionly one document was created.
i tried by cancelling billing documets and re create that but in second time i got only one billing document.
Can anyone please let me know what i should check and take care to stop billing split.

This looks tricky... When the job runs in the background, there might be table locks on any of the customer or sales order tables from where the data is being pulled or there might have been a user exit in which the data does not get flushed out which may be creating this problem. You may have to sit with the technical person (if you are not the one) and see why this is happening.

Alt text of image tooltip not showing for some cases

Hello,
I have followed the following steps in adding the alt text of images. Adobe Acrobat X Pro * Add alternate text and supplementary information to tags
However, there is a weird case where the tooltip of the alt text is not shown on hover for a specific page (page 5 of the attached PDF)

Please advise if there is something wrong with the PDF that is causing Reader to not show the alt text for the images in that certain page. (and if the PDF should be fixed or is Reader the one that has a problem).

Batch is blank for some production order number

Hi Experts,
For some cases planned order does not converting into production order,i mean batch(CHARG) is not updating.it seems production order link is missing,In CO03 transaction i'm not finding relative batch number for production order.
Let me know If you have any solutuion

Without further information on what information you need to extract from the Batch table and when, I have the following suggestion
The Batch Rows table IBT1 should be linked to the Production Transaction.

Hi All -
I have a map in OWB 10.2.0.4 which is ending with following error: -
VLD-1119: Unable to generate Multi-table Insert statement for some or all targets.*
Multi-table insert statement cannot be generated for some or all of the targets due to upstream graphs of those targets are not identical on "active operators" such as "join".*
The map is created with following logic in mind. Let me know if you need more info. Any directions are highly appreciated and many thanks for your inputs in advance: -
I have two source tables say T1 and T2. There are full outer joined in a joiner and output of this joined is passed to an expression to evaluate values of columns based on
business logic i.e. If T1 is available than take T1.C1 else take T2.C1 so on.
A flag is also evaluated in the expression because these intermediate results needs to be joined to third source table say T3 with different condition.
Based on value taken a flag is being set in the expression which is used in a splitter to get results in three intermediate tables based on flag value evaluated earlier.
These three intermediate tables are all truncate insert and these are unioned to fill a final target table.
Visually it is something like this: -
T1 -- T3 -- JOINER1
| -->Join1 (FULL OUTER) --> Expression -->SPLITTER -- JOINER2 UNION --> Target Table
| JOINER3
T2 --

I verified that their is a limitation with the splitter operator which will not let you generate a multi split having more than 999 columns in all.
I had to use two separate splitters to achieve what I was trying to do.
So the situation is now: -
Siource -> Split -> Split 1 -> Insert into table -> Union1---------Final tableA
Siource -> Split -> Split 2 -> Insert into table -> Union1

Search Result is showing Blank Title for some of the doc Files

Hi,
I am doing Search on SharePoint 2010 with the search scope set to one of the document library , But the search result is showing different results for different doc files. I can analyse three type of output from the search result:
1) for some records Title is shown correct.
2) for some files , Title is shown with keyword "Title:<Actual Title>"
3) and in some docs its hsowing Just the keyword "Title:" in place of actual title
I am not able to understand why the result is behaving like this.
Any assistance will be really appreciable .

In Central Administration in the Search Service in Managed Properties look for 'Title'. You will see that Title is populated from a number of properties on a document, some properties are given higher priority then others. That could be a clue.
Also, what type of document are you crawling a PDF, word document, etc? For PDFs you have to install a special iFilter and you need to be aware sometimes the properties on the actual PDF in adobe are used.
I sugest: Try to make sure you give your documents a title in SharePoint and that you rank that property as the #1 property in Central Admin that the Managed property 'Title' uses.

Creating new selection criteria when searching for PR

Hi,
Need help. i want to add selection criteria when searching for a Purchase Requisition (PR).
Currently, when u go to ME52N/ME53N, and you click on 'Other Purchase Request' then you click on F4 the following option are only available when searching for some criteria of PR.
Purchase Requisition per Asset
Purchase Requisition per Requirement Tracking Number
Purchase Requisition per Services
Purchase Requisition per Purchasing Group
Purchase Requisition per Order
Purchase Requisition per Cost Center
Purchase Requisition per Material
Purchase Requisition per Network
Purchase Requisition per Project
Purchase Requisition per Sales Document
my intention to add option perhaps like :
Purchase Requisition per Requestor (the one who created the PR)
Purchase Requition per Short Text

You need add your search.
Explain your requirement to ABAP team . They will help u in updating the search help.

Tried starting holding option command P and R key and didnt work either. Starting to think I have lost all my data inside
