Tag Data

iTunes remembers the tag data of files after I delete them. I found I had some files without track numbers so I deleted them in iTunes and re-did them in MP3Tag. When I added them again to iTunes they were once again in the wrong order and didn`t have the information I just added. I didn`t have this problem before the newest update and have done this many times. How do I clear this data so it can update from the file again.

After updating in your external program just select the tracks concerned, do a *Get Info*, then click OK without making any changes. iTunes will re-read all the tag data and update it's own database. The only possible spanner is if the tracks have multiple tags and MP3Tag is only updating say the ID3v2.3 one while iTunes reads data from the ID3v1 version... If you're still having trouble it might be worth running a tag repair tool to check for errors.

  • Meta Tag data + IIS logs

we are using CF MX7 on IIS. I use a 3rd party tool to analyze
the log files. My content is chunked based on meta tags. The issue
is that IIS is not returning teh meta tag data. Is there a way to
collect trhe met tag data via CF?

I've looked at IMAQ Write Image and Vision Info File 2.vi. According to the documentation, "Writes an image, along with extra vision information associated with the image, to a PNG file. This extra vision information includes overlay information, pattern matching template information, and calibration information. Note that this vision information can only be saved with the PNG file format."
I have used the Write Custom Data.vi to write several keys to the image, before using the Write Image and Vision Info VI noted above. It does not seem that the keys can be read as metadata from the file by windows or other applications.
It is discussed on LAVA at
    http://lavag.org/topic/5297-embedding-additional-txt-in-a-png-file-imaq-82/
It seems like the solution should be quite simple.... not there yet.

    Hello All,
I am working on the rfid appln.
When i try to get the tag data from the reader, by default the tag data comes in the following format,

which has urn:epc:raw:96. appended to it. but we are interested only in the EPC number i.e. 964002000000000000000001

  • HTML tag data displayed in IMAP emails.

I have recently moved from BES to BIS (my firm has stopped using BES).  My personal POP3 account still works ok.  My work account is now set up via BIS using IMAP to our Exchange server.  BES service books have been deleted.  Email to IMAP account works except that HTML tag data gets displayed in the body of the email (see attached comparison between two accounts of same email). HTML is enabled for both accounts.
I'm also getting duplicate emails - when I access an existing email in Outlook it seems to generate a duplicate on my BB.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Ernie ~
    Thanks for helping...
I just checked all my old messages, and now those do not display HTML, either.
One message which used to display correctly now says this when I preview it:
"Your Email Client does not support MIME encoding. Please upgrade to
MIME-enabled Email Client (almost every modern Email Client is MIME-capable)."
(...boy, if this gets out it could be embarrassing to Mac users everywhere...)
I cannot get my .mac accounts to be viewed at all (see my recent topic post on this, too), so here I am referring to a Yahoo POP account. Messages display just fine, incidentally, if I read my mail online using Yahoo's webmail reader, even in Safari.

  • Has Adobe given you the option to enlarge the font for Tags, dates, etc. in PSE 11?

Has Adobe given you the option to enlarge the font in PSE 11 such as tags, dates etc. This was asked befor but not answered

Not sure what your question is about but if you are talking about display fonts for Menus and general user interface in PSE 11 then I would think it is to do with the display configurations in your operating system.  In Windows, you can go to the Control Panel and look for Display properties.  In Windows XP it might look something like this:
Look at he yellow box to change the font size.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to read value within XML Tag data using IO Stream in Java

We have xml data into a Stream and we need to extract values again into a Stream from the particular XML tag <Data> inside the Stream. PFB the sample XML which will be contained inside the stream and can someone help us to hint the java code for this. We require it using the IO API only and we need to look <DATA> for the begining of the stream and </DATA> as the end of the stream.
Please note that input is stream and output require also is a stream.

The example you've showed is valid and it is also text.
Think seriously about this ... for example, do you have a rule that says </DATA> can't appear in the binary data?
But in any case I can't see the problem. If you want to use IO classes directly, just read lines until you see <DATA>, then read data until it ends with </DATA>, and remove that.
But I would certainly use SAX myself until proven otherwise that it won't work..

  • Display Invoice Details in 3 pages only, as per the tags, data is overflown

    Hi,
I have a requirement to display invoice details in pdf output from XML Source using rtf template.
The PDF output will display invoice details for One address number per page.
When I execute the report in JDE standard version I get the pdf output in three pages as expected.
from the blank template when I executed the report for a data selection of One business unit and three address numbers. Below is the query.
    SELECT * FROM PRODDTA.F03B11 WHERE RPDIVJ =110037 AND LTRIM(RTRIM(RPMCU))=03285 AND RPAN8 IN(204346,204352,202370).
The XML source in the printqueue shows me five address number tags instead of three as per the data selection given above. The data in the second tag has overflown to third and similarly from 4th to 5th tag.
When I take the said XML source it is displaying 5 pages. Is there way to design the rtf template where it can print only 3 pages.
Below I have given the actual source code.

Thanks for your response Shastry, but I am having trouble understanding it. Not sure how the above steps will read the current date.
To be more specific, I want to display only that cost that falls in fiscal year.
In above example now since it is 03/26/2011 and my fiscal year starts on 04/01 . I want to display cost from row 1 and when the same report will be run after 04/01/2011 it should display cost from  row 2.
Like wise if the report is run after n number of years , it should display cost as per the fiscal year at that time.
So i guess the formula should really depend on system date/current date/ print date
    Thanks!

  • How do you make iTunes read updated tag data from a file?

This is such basic functionality that I'm sure I'm just missing it. It used to be the when I modified a file using a third party application (or editing a shared library using iTunes running on a different machine), all you had to do to get those updates into iTunes was select, hit "get info" and click OK without changing anything. That broke in 9.2 - it still recognized that the file has changed and adjusts the Date Modified field, but doesn't actually update any of the fields.
The revised tags don't get updated until you either Get Info individually on each file, play the file, or modify the files. So realistically, there are no workarounds - the first two aren't realistic for a full library and the latter trashes your modification date and causes the refresh to take hours to complete if the library is on a remote server, rather than the ten minutes it used to take.

    Hi,
I've written a script called UpdateTagInfo which should do the trick for you. Just select a bunch of tracks or an appropriate playlist and call the script. It will process each track, updating the tags if they've been changed externally. When complete it will tell you how many tracks were processed & how many were updated.

  • Interactive Report with html tags --- Data saved in Excel with html tags

    Hello,
I am using APEX 4.0. I have an interactive report that displays some of the columns bold and / or colors using html tags. As an example,
    SELECT
    '''<font color="green"><b>'' || SERIAL_NUMBER || ''</b></font>'' SERIAL_NUMBER,'||chr(10)||
    'PRODUCT_NAME,'||chr(10)||
    '''<font color="teal"><b>'' || PRODUCT_DESC || ''</b></font>'' DESC,'||chr(10)||
    'QUANTITY,'||chr(10)||
    FROM
    <Table name>
At runtime, the Interactive Report displays the fonts, colors correctly; however, when I save the data of the Interactive Report in an Excel format, it saves the Html tags along in the EXCEL spreadsheet. For example, the column serial number from the above SELECT statement is extracted in an Excel column as ---
    <font color="green"><b>123456789</b></font>
Is there another way to render the column data so that extracted data will not display the HTML tags or is removing the html font color tags from the SELECT statement the only option?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
I have a feeling all your problems are related take a look at this thread. I found it in 10 seconds of searching the forum.

  • JSP Tags - Refreshing tag data

I have written a few custom Tag Handlers.
I built these Handlers to eliminate all scriptlet code from a JSP form page, and also for ease of reuse.
A few of the Handlers generate '<select>' tags, which have option values populated by a call to another Class object that performs a database query.
All of the tags work perfectly, however, the tags that rely on database calls for the values do not get rebuilt, thus the values do not reflect current table data - This was not a problem when the options where generated via scriptlets; the data was rebuilt any time the page was refreshed.
Is there a method available to signal the container to rebuild the tags each time the page is refreshed/called?

sounds like a caching problem.. if so, you can test this by putting print statements in the page and reloading the page. If nothing prints, the server isn't getting the request, just the browser reloading from cache. if that is the case, then you need to be putting in the proper no-cache headers. I forget them offhand, but if you search this forum for "Pragma no-cache" you'll definitely find a post with the full set (there's a few things to set).

  • Import Category Tag Data from Album 1.0 to Elements 4.0

I have used PS Album 1.0 since its release together with PSE 2.0. I want to upgrade to PSE 4.0 but do not want to lose organizational data created in PSA 1.0. Can this be imported to PSE 4.0 or will it be recognized automatically?? Can't find the answer in FAQ or Knowledgebase. Help much appreciated!

    Abigail,
I worked with someone who upgraded from Album 2 to Elements 4 and their catalog was converted OK. Generally if you have the default catalog name in the default location, you get a dialog box at the end of the Elements 4 install process asking for confirmation that you want to convert your catalog. If you have not defaults, then just go to Open your catalog and you will see the dialog box abour the catalog conversion.
I don't remember which type of creations were available in PSA 1, but I do know that not all the Creations come across completely. However, the Tags and the photo files are fine.
In preparation you should do the following types of activities on your prior version (for you PSA 1)
    - Reconnect All Missing Files
    - Catalog Recover
Their purpose is to make the catalog as error free and compact as possible before it is converted to the new version.
I believe that you will have a similar experience upgrading from PS Album version 1 as I saw when upgrading from PSA 2.

  • Tagged date off by one day since 2010

I was tagging a TV show I recorded and put it into iTunes only to have it show 1 day earlier than what I tagged it. I used meta-X, so I thought there might be a bug there, but a dump using AtomicParsley shows the correct date:
    Atom "©day" contains: 2010-01-16T00:00:00Z
But in iTunes this shows as 1/15/10
So either iTunes is wrong (or doing some kind of wierd timezone adjustment that is wasn't doing prior to 1/1/2010) or AtomicParsley is wrong.
    Anybody else seeing this?

  • How to Migrate Face / People Tag Data?

Hi all, like most people we have a household of phones, computers, android, mac, windows.
I have on the desktop win 7 machine tagged religiously about 14,000 photos for:
    1     Date
2     Location (and if geotag available when taken, that too)
    3     Event Description
    4     People Tags
Also every file is in a folder dated when photos taken, spanning from when taken.  Some photos were large format (about 2,000) that dated back to 1926, that were high resolution scanned in on film scanner.
What I would like is to be able to use the same photo library across the house!!!!
    - I have a shared folder, so network access is not an issue here for everyone, it is the item 4 above.
Specifically Windows Live Photo Gallery People Tags do not show up as Face Tags in iPhoto (iLife 11).
I do not mind changing from now my method of tagging, but spending a few months retagging and duplicating work is a no no.  Is there a way therefore to
    (a) Show People Tag's as Face Tag's in iPhoto.
The options I have come up with are:
i In WLPG select each People Tag, and thus the photos for that tag, and somehow add a Descriptive Tag (that of course will lose the part of photo where face is tagged)
ii Find something on the web (hopefully hear your thoughts all!!!) on how an app to migrate the data (or better yet sync it)
I am at this point locked into WLPG, and no disrespect to iPhoto, but aperture/lightroom/something still to be invented in a few years - all are concerns, and I do not want to retag people/face data again.  So thoughts on the long term would be interesting please

There is no way to migrate Faces data from any system to another system. Simply, there is no metadata convention that operates across systems.
I would suggest though, that whenever (if ever) one is devised, it's much more likely to be based on a system based on an industry leading professional photo application than on Windows Live Photo Gallery.
The best workaround I can suggest is that you keyword the people and use that as a basis for re-tagging the facs on a different system. I would ensure that Windows Live Photo Gallery supports IPTC keywords first.
I would also point out that iPhoto has no cross platform ability at all. As a database, everything needs to be imported to it, and so it may not be the app you want to use on your Macs for this job.
FWIW, iPhoto, Aperture and Lightroom all support ITPC keywording. As Face tagging is of little use to pro shooters I've not even seen any discussion about standardising a metadata system for it.

  • Need to read parent tag data even if child fragment doesnot have data

Hi, I am using Binary method of XML Storage,
Here is my Oracle installation details
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.3.0 - Production
    "CORE 11.2.0.3.0 Production"
XML Structure Details ---> The provided sample xml has repetitive Party tag under which a PolicyNumber tag might be present, under the Party tag a AddressList may or not be present.
I have 3 such Party tags, the first one has no PolicyNumber tag altough the AddressList tag and has multiple Adress under the same, the second Party tag has the PolicyNumber however it doesnot have the AdressList data in it, 3rd party tag is irrelevant for this issue.
What i want to acheive ---> Even though there are no Address present for the PolicyNumber tag i want PolicyNumber to appear in my result set, since the PolicyNumber's Party tag doesnot have a Address tag i guess the result set is ignoring the PolicyNumber in the final result set.
In a nut shell i need all these data i cannot miss the PolicyNumber neither the Address
Please go through the XML and the subsequent query for further assitance
    Inserting a sample XML
    INSERT INTO XML_TEST

    </Party>
    </workfile>
Query that i am using to extract CLAIM, PolicyNumber and Corresponding Addresses
    select
    m.CLAIM,
    n.PolicyNumber,
    l.ADDRESS_1,
    l.ADDRESS_2
    from XML_TEST,
    xmltable(
    '$WK/workfile' passing XMLDATA as "WK"
    columns
    CLAIM VARCHAR2 (4000) PATH 'claimnumber',
    Party_fragment XMLTYPE PATH 'Party'
    ) m,
    XMLTABLE(
    '$PY/Party' passing m.Party_fragment as "PY"
    columns
    PolicyNumber VARCHAR2 (4000) PATH 'AutoInsurancePolicy/PolicyNumber',
    Address_Fragment XMLTYPE PATH 'AutoInsurancePolicy/AddressList/Address'
    ) n,
    XMLTABLE(
    '$AD/Address' passing n.Address_Fragment as "AD"
    columns
    ADDRESS_1 VARCHAR2 (4000) PATH 'Address1',
    ADDRESS_2 VARCHAR2 (4000) PATH 'Address2'
    ) l;
But this query returns no PolicyNumber, since the address under the Party node where the PolicyNumber is present does not have a corresponding Address value
    Heres the result set returned:-
    CLAIM POLICY_NUMBER Address1 Address2
abcdefgh <NULL> data1 goes here data1 goes here
abcdefgh <NULL> data2 goes here data2 goes here
Is there a way to specify to the above query to fetch all the data even if its corresponding Address fragment does not have data against the tag.
Result set that i want to acheive:-
    CLAIM POLICY_NUMBER Address1 Address2
    abcdefgh 123456 <NULL> <NULL>
abcdefgh <NULL> data1 goes here data1 goes here
abcdefgh <NULL> data2 goes here data2 goes here

Try with outer joins at every level :

  • Resize without losing tags (date, rating, keywords, etc.)?

It seems the only way to resize photos is to export and then re-import. However, doing so seems to destroy all of the tags, including date, time, rating, keywords, and descriptions. This is a pain since I've spent a lot of time adding this data.
Is there any other way to resize without losing this information? Thanks in advance...

Scans, I'm afraid, don't have Exif or IPTC metadata.
IF disk space is an issue you can run a Library from an external disk:
    1. Quit iPhoto
    2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
    3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
    4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
