Take input from table control using wizard

Dear experts,
I am trying to take data from table control into internal table using wizard.
In main report program i defined the internal table and used wizard after that.
I could see internal table there and i picked the fields i wanted.
Also i defined a workarea of same time.Further i made a push button.
In PAI user command module i specified
loop at itab. (one used for table control data)
endloop.
Here i put break point and find that no data is coming from grid.
With wizard what additional i have to do ?

Instead of Insert into table, you can write: APPEND WA TO ITAB.
Also YSTUDENT-ID is the name of the column in your tbl ctrl.
Make sure your PBO also loops thro the itab:
loop at itab with control tab1.
endloop.

Retrieving values from table control using DYNP_VALUES_READ

Hi all,
I am trying to retrieve the values from the table control using the FM DYNP_VALUES_READ. I have a situation where user enter values in table control in T.code FB60 in Withholding tab for validation purpose. There i'll have to check based on some entries maintained in SET.
I am unable to get the values when i scroll to the next page in the table control. FM raising an exception invalid_dynprofield.

You have to populate the dynpfields internal table before calling the function,

How to delete record from table control using BDC?

I am running a BDC program to delete records.
I have file with following records and i got these records into t_itab.

Now, I have BDC transaction in which table control screen which contains following structure.

MQ100004     S003     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     47.00
MQ100005     S004     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     25.00

MQ100007     S033     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     17.00
MQ100008     S011     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     95.00
MQ100009     S002     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     46.00
I have recorded from SHDB in which first record will be delete.
So, when i loop through t_itab,instead of deleting MQ100001,MQ100004 and MQ100008 from BDC screen,
it is deleting MQ100001,MQ100002 and MQ100004 (first record for each process ).
Which i don't want to.
Is there any facility in BDC to put records on top which i want to delete?
Please guide me.

One option is to identify the table and find out the location as the number of row which should be deleted from the table and then in the bdc program instead of postioning the cursor on the row 1(using the statement perform bdc_cursor ....(01)), replace the 01 with the row number.
Second option is that if a filter control is available for the table control, then filter the data each and every time with the material number to be deleted and then delete the first row.

How to implement line selectability for a table control using table Wizard?

Hello SDN Community,
I have created a table control using the Table Wizard. I found my exact question in this forum, but unfortunately it had not been andsered. While I cannot paste a screen-print into this plane-text area, here are the steps I followed...
1) SE51
2) Create new screen 0100
3) Click Layout button
4) Clidk Table Control (with Wizard) and draw box on canvas.
5) Step is "Start" - click Continue
6) Step is "Name of Table Control" - provided name
7) Step is "Table Name" - provided name of dictionary table (AUFK)
8) Step is "Definition of Columns" - selected order numver and order text
9) Step is "Table Control Attributes" - Line Selectability is in display mode - cannot set it.
I would like to have a selectability column for my table. Would appreciate any insight into how to do this.

This is a puzzling...
For the table control wizard, in the Table Control Attributes step, I was able to get line selectability to open up by declaring a char01 data element at the beginning of my type.
The puzzling is in regards to the "Selection col. fld" entry field.
If I leave it blank and try to go to the next step, I get message "Enter the name of the selection column if you are using a program table"
So it looked like it wanted to know the name of my selection column. So I type in "CHAR1". and got the message "The field "CHAR1" for the selection column is already contained in the table."
Hmmmmm.... don't understand............

BDC: How to enter data in Table control (With wizard) using scrolling?

Using BDC, I am trying to enter the data in the table control (with wizard).
I want to know what is the specific command to scroll down in table control (With Wizard).
While recording I am getting these steps:

When I use above command and run BDC, it does not scroll.

How to save the selected records from Table control in dialog programming

Actually the problem is like this:-
I have to select some records from table control and then want to save the selected records in DB table.
Example
I have some rows having inforamtion bout employees...
Now what i want is that when i click on 'SAVE' button then these selected rows should be moved into DB table.

Table control with wizard in module pool

Hi Gurus!!
First I have an ztable for header and ztable for item of the purchase order. We have the requirement of first uploading the data into ztable and then perform bapi or bdc on it. So, before the data goes into the ztable we have to create screens to show the data,and if any error it should be corrected and then send it to the ztable.
So,in the screen I created a table control using the wizard where I gave the internal table and work area I declared for the item ztable.
Now, I need to give a condition to the table control such that only the details of a single vendor should be displayed in the table control but not all.
Note: The vendor field in the item ztable is the value key and its check table is the header ztable.
I am not able to give a condition in the PAI of the screen where the loop gets created for the table control.
Could someone please help me with this issue.

Instead of putting a condition to the table control level u can do 1 thing ..create another internal table for ztable (lineitem). And based on ur condition populate this table from the main table and then display this table to the table control.

Deleting the values from table control

HI,
I need to remove the selected line from the Table control on my screen.
The point is that the Internal table does not have any records,.
for example in the Customer Create screen,
while entering the bank details we will enter it in a tbale contraol.
but the records doesnt exist in the database. but the record gets deleted from the table control only if we press delete button.
please guide me.
please note : I want to delete the record from Table Control on the screen and I dont have any corresponding database records..

The solution to your problem - deleting values from table control.
Here: it_wizard is the internal table which is holding the value of table control.
         wa_wizard is the work are of the internal table it_wizard.
         it_delete is the internal table which holds the deleted record of table control.
         wa_delete is the work area of the internal table it_delete
Also here the field ZSEL is the character field which is used to select the entire record in the table control.
LOOP AT it_wizard into wa_wizard WHERE zsel = 'X'.
       MOVE-CORRESPONDING wa_wizard TO wa_delete.
       APPEND wa_delete TO it_delete.
       delete table it_wizard from wa_wizard.
DELETE FROM zfin_goods WHERE ZFG = WA_delete-ZFG.
ENDLOOP
if sy-subrc eq 0.
Message 'Delete Successful' type 'S'.
endif.
The above code will delete the record from both the table control.internal table and the database table.

Remove vertical scroll bar from table control

hi,
i had used table control in my application. i want remove vertical scroll bar from table control.
At initial time in table control there is no vertical scroll bar. In my table control lines are dependent on internal table which i was used to fill it.
i was used these code for to set table control lines.
DESCRIBE TABLE IT_RISK_ZINRISEXC LINES EXC_LINE.
TC_RISK_EX-LINES = EXC_LINE .
Initially there is no data in internal table so there is no vertical scroll bar. After getting value i am filling internal table. and there is scroll bar in my table control. but i does not want that.
i was not selected RESIZING-VERTICAL OR -HORIZONTAL.

From Scroll Bars in Table Control
You can remove the scroll bar in the table control by switching off horizontal and vertical scrolling in the properties of the table control. The properties can be accessed from the screen painter by double clicking on the table control. Regarding the page up and page down functions, I believe you add those buttons in the screen layout and code for them. You can use the standard function code for the page up and page down functions.

You can get rid of the vertical scroll bars by not setting table control lines. This way the user can only see the visible lines of the table control. As for the horizontal scrollbar, just make sure that your table control doesn't contain too many fields.

Scroll bar in table control without wizard

I have made a module pool program for gate pass. In which i have taken a TABLE CONTROL WITHOUT WIZARD. Now my problem is , the table control does not have the SCROLL BAR functionality. It is not showing the scroll bar also. So can any one of you can help with the code that i can use to bring that scroll bar.
Table control is without wizard.

    data: fill TYPE i.
    DESCRIBE TABLE itab LINES fill.
flights-lines = fill.
   Flights is the table control name in screen and itab is the internal table name.

Hi,
I created a table control using report program and i am trying to enter data in the table control which i want to update in the DB table. How can i get the data entered in table control to the report program, so that i can update the DB table.
Please help me finding out which variable will hold the data entered in table control(dynamically).

1. While designing set the table control as input field.
2. In ur program create an internal table, with the same structure as your table control.
3. Whenever an entry is made in the table control, modify your internal table.
4. While saving use the internal table data to update the custom table.
If internal table name is same in both screen painter(table control) and in the program then the values will automatically come into the internal table in the program with out programming.
Otherwise we have programtically transfer the values.
In the PAI event using move or move-corresponding statement.

 I have requirement in which I will create a Dynamic Internal Table and then I need to create a Table Control Using that Internal Table. Now this can't be done using Screen Editor as it requires a pre-defined internal table or a DDIC Object.

How to create table control without wizard....???

Hello experts !!
Plz tell me how to create table control without wizard.
for sflight table.
Scenario 1
I have one screen like 1000.
There i have taken carrid, connid, fldate as criteria.
Now i want to display Planetype, Price, Seatsmax in the table control.
Scenario 2
i have two screens 1001, 1002.
in the screen 1001 i have taken carrid, connid, fldate as criteria and there is a Button.
when i will click the button it will show the price, planetype and seatsmax in the table control in the next screen, i.e 1002
plz help me out...
and how to save new record in the dictionary table from that table control....

if you only want to determine the row of the table control. SY´-SUBRC allows you to check if the cursor is placed in a row of a table control.
u need to comment the performs of table control fields and write ur own perform statements. And u have to declare the table control fields as separate internal tables.

How to take WBS from table PRPS

I want to take WBS from table PRPS but what happening is
in POSID wbs is stored without seperating special charactrs (eg.-./)
eg. y.003.02 is stored as y00302
and in POSKI it strored as it y.003.02 but problem is here limitation is 16 char and long length WBS are stored upto 16 char.
then how to read WBS having more than 16 char. POSID is having 24 Chr limit but here valus strored without seperatrs.
I want to extract whole WBS with seperater characters.
Please tell exact filed / table (If anu other) and how to get it.

Use following conversion exit in ur programe............
CONVERSION_EXIT_ABPSN_INPUT
CONVERSION_EXIT_ABPSN_OUTPUT
Then WBS ID wil be shown with special characters.
