Before it is easy to install apps on my iphone4 but now it really takes alot of time? what is the reason

Slow internet connection? It's a pretty vague question so it's kind of hard to answer. Because it may help and it won't hurt, try resetting your phone by pressing and holding the Home button and the power button until the silver apple appears.

Try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.

New SSDin iMac taking loooooong time to install apps??

I just got this new iMac 10 days ago and love it. The only thing I see thats troubling is that when I install an application from DVD directly onto my SSD, it takes 2-4 times LONGER to install that it ever did with a regular HDD. I have both a SSD and a HDD in here but my boot, OS, and all my applications are on the SSD. Its really strange.
Am I doing something wrong? I must say, however, that once the application is installed, it just flies open and performance is awesome. Just the original install is a bit embarrassingly slow. I put my support data like photo's, music, and video libraries on my HDD and nothing else. Everything else go's on the SSD. Thats why this is weird. Granted, this is my first ownership of a SSD. Is this normal?

So I've ben on the phone literally for over 2 hours this morning from an Applecare rep to a senior advisor. Both helped with various idea's and I thought we actually fixed the problem. Not gonna happen.
I ended session with one for "fix" from the senior advisor (the last of many attempts at different things). We preformed and archive and install because if the install took more that an hour, something was wrong with the superdrive (optical) like I thought all along. I did that and it installed very quick...in less than 35 minutes....and It DID fix disc errors and now my iMac boots like lightning. It booted very slow before for a SSD being the boot drive. BUT, the speed at which things install via the optical drive is still horribly slow. Hours and hours for a 7.5 GB dvd to install. I downloaded an app that was 6.8 GB from the internet and it took 4 minutes to install.
Their reasoning is that if it took that little time for the OS to install during an archive and install, then there is nothing wrong with the optical drive. But....loading anything else is very painfully slooooow. I just don't get it. I'm at a complete loss here. What to do?
Should I just purchase a LaCie external DVD drive and attach via FW 400 with an adapter and accept the fact that my superdrive is very slow? Im gonna delete a game I have thats around 5 GB and re-install it and time it. I have no other option here. $3300 for an iMac and its crippled by this drive...or whatever the problem is.

Creative Cloud freezes every time before installing Apps.

hey i downloaded creative cloud for my work computer. the installer downloads but when i open it, on the first page where it says "Home, Apps, Assets, Community" it just freezes on the apps screen every time. tried uninstalling it and downloaded it again and nothing. internet connection in my office is super solid too, and my computer's a brand new macbook pro with no problems. any ideas?

Please try the steps below:
Quit the Creative cloud application.
Go to utilities, delete Adobe Application Manager and Adobe Creative cloud (if not deleted during uninstallation) folders.
3. Delete AAMUpdater and OOBE folder from the location: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Delete AAMUpdater, AAMupdaterInventory and OOBE folders from the location: /Library/Application Support/Adobe
Reinstall Adobe Creative cloud application.

I just upgrade from the 4 to 5s. Are my apps supposed to transfer over and perhaps it just takes time to load like my email and pitures. I tried to install apps and it showed that they are already downloaded. What do I do to get them to show up?

If your restored from a backup and the apps that are missing on the device show "Open" in the App Store, then they are located on other pages on your iPhone or are in folders. Also, with the iOS 7 update most developers have changed icon badging. This can cause some applications to be difficult to find.

Downloading and installing apps takes forever? New iphone 5s

I've been an android user since the first droids but I decided to give iphone a shot with the 5s, just picked it up yesterday.
Aside from getting used to a TINY screen, doing okay with it but I've noticed downloading and installing apps takes a LONG time on this phone compared to my previous androids (and I've had a lot, I switch phones every few months).
On android I touch install and for most apps (take pandora for instance), it's download and installed in LITERALLY like 5-6 seconds.
On this iPhone 5s, same wifi network, same location, same carrier (Verizon) it takes 1-2 minutes...A LOT LONGER than on android.
Is this normal? Why does it take so long? Are iphone apps huge in size compared to android versions? Can't figure out why its so different

Must reset ipod touch each time install apps

Got an iPod Touch (5.0.1) for Christmas. Using iTunes 10.5.1.42 on Win 7 box. I must restore the iPod each time I want to install more apps. It has over 4 GB of memory left. The Sync Apps area is all greyed out and nothing moves unless I restore it each time. This can take almost an hour. Its ridiculous. (Don't know if it's related but iTunes freezes almost every time it launches.) Anybody know how to fix this?

Ok. I found the problem. I needed to go into Settings > General > Restrictions, then turn on Installing Apps. Somehow that was turned off.

If I do a clean install on my MacBook Pro will I be able to re-install apps (FCP, Aperture, MS Office etc.) from a Time Machine backup, or will I need the original install DVDs with authorization codes?

The Apple Genius' were stumped by my laptop issues and said they'd never seen anything like it before and recommended I did a clean install. Below you can see my trash bin, and if you look at the "Empty" button it reads "N201" and then there's the "N39" to the left of it. You can also see these numbers over by the folder area--"SD5, SD6, SD7." But that's not all...
When I right click on items I see the numbers again. Instead of "Open with" I get "N152" and there's an "N35" and "LB1" towards the bottom.
I have no idea what's going on so I'm just going to do a clean install on my machine but I don't want to lose my apps. I don't have the original install DVDs for them anymore. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

You don't lose them. You can always redownload them from the app store after you log back in with your Apple ID.

Security updates takes long time to install through Software Center

We have a setup with SCCM 2012 R2 CU4 as a Primary Site server where SUP also enabled. I deployed the windows security updates to the test servers collection by deployment type as Available.
I verified in test servers that all the deployed security updates are listed under Software Center client, but when I checked all the updates and tried to install. it is taking long time to install . Most of the time the updates are in “waiting to install”
status and finally ends up in failed state with error codes 0xc80003f3, 0x8007000e. Have verified all the logs windowsupdate.log, Updatesdeployment.log, WUHandler.log are points to the same error code. Found that multiple SVChost.exe process consumes more
memory during patching process.
However we have enough physical memory(2 GB) and page memory( Min 2 GB to Max 4 GB) configured on the servers (Windows 2012 R2 SP1) . Need some guidance in further troubleshooting...

Most of the servers managed by me today are having anywhere 2 - 4 GB RAM installed. How do one install the security patches through SCCM with this configuration?. Selecting more than 4 patches at the same time to install does gives memory errors.
I would suggest 4GB RAM for a modern Server OS e.g. WS2012R2 is simply too little memory.
There have been quite a lot of issues in recent months, relating to Software Updates, affecting WSUS and also ConfigMgr, e.g.

Sick of password nag every time I install an app on OSX ver 10.5.6

Hi can some kind individual pls tell me how I can get rid of the stupid nag screen that asks for the password every time I install or change a setting in my mac? Its like that stupid UAC thing in vista. No one else other than my self uses this machine and I am not dumb enough to do something stupid cos I disable this screen.

sorry, I misunderstood your question somehow. I thought you were asking about the confirmation screen (not requiring a password) that you get when you first run an application that you got off internet.
You can't get rid of the password prompts when you install things that require system changes. and that's a very good thing IMO. But you should be able to install most apps without a password if you are using an admin account. only apps that use installers and change some system files require passwords. apps installed by a drag and drop into /Applications don't.

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.
above works for purchases from the iTunes store. for everything else, check out this post by Zevoneer.

Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

What id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app ? You can tap on it and log out of it and you can then log in with a different account. But all content from the store is tied to the account that downloaded it, so if any of the apps on your iPad were downloaded by the id that is showing then they will be tied to that id, so only that id will be able to download updates to those apps
