Targeting Object properties Inside PopUp Object

In my project I am creating a window using the PopUpManager.
The symbol used to create that window has several objects.
For the sake of discussion we'll discuss the object
message_txt inside myWindow.
How do I reference message_txt.text from actionscript after
the object is dynamically created?

    Thanks for help

    Dear Garcia,
    Let me try to help you out..
    First of all let me confirm your requirement.. ie you want to get the attribute 'CONFIG_LINE_COL' of type cl_crm_bol_entity_col from the object 'ISUORDERITEM" right ?..
    try this code,
    data: lr_col type ref to cl_crm_bol_entity_col.
    lr_col = me->typed_context->isuorderitem->config_line_col.
    now you got the collection in lr_col variable.. you can play with this data now. I dont know whats your actual requirement so that i can help you further :).
    Hope it helps.

  • Targeting the EdgeID object from inside the animation

    I've been working on an animation that displays content pulled in from json files.  The height of the content pulled in is determined and then the Stage height is adjusted to fit the total content. This works well by itself. See http://www.jomariworks.com/edge-json (Only west coast links are live. Project files http://www.jomariworks.com/edge-json/edge-json.zip)
    Now I'm embedding the animation in a page using the oam insert feature, which creates an object with a fixed size.  When the animation adjusts the stage height, the object window size does not change. When the content is longer than the object window, the content scrolls.
    Is there a way I can target the height of the object (id is EdgeID) during the execution of the animation?
    The live version of this can be viewed at  http://reconnectingamerica.org/spacerace/index.php.  The project files at http://www.jomariworks.com/edge-json/edge-json.zip are the same as far as functionality goes.
    Thanks in advance for any help.

    After being unable to discover how to target the height of the object containing the embedded edge animation, I have gone back to having the entire page part of the animation file.
    The final web page is online at http://reconnectingamerica.org/spacerace
    There are big disadvantages of this:
    The full web page has more than 7000 lines of HTML.  Making changes in Edge Animate is a VERY slow process.
    Edge Animate corrupts the HTML in the file. This file contains complex TABLEs.  After making changes in Edge Animate and saving those changes, the TABLE headers are all corrupted (e.g. closing THEAD tags are moved above the head content and several closing TR tags are relocated. For the record, I checked.and the original HTML is syntactically valid.).  To deal with this I removed the tables when editing in Edge Animate and after making changes and publishing the Edge Animate version of the HTML I restored the tables.
    Working separately on the animation and then embedding is clearly the better workflow in this situation. Unfortunately, I needed to be able to resize the embedded animation's object container in the same way I was able to adjust the Stage from inside the animation.  Not being a jQuery wizard I couldn't figure out how to target the height of the animation's parent container.  Still interested in finding out how to do that if anyone can help.

  • JSF-EL expansion inside of object using ADF in a JSP

    JSF-EF will not convert to text inside of <object><param>
    I have an existing JSP application that uses an Applet. There is a lot of <% %> code that is passed to the Applet using the <param> tag.
    My code goes as follows:
    <%@ page stuff%>
    <%@taglib stuff%>
    <f:loadBundle stuff/>
    <%
    a lot of ugly java code that I've already ported to a Managed Bean like
    String WORKS = "WORKS";
    %>
    <f:view>
    <afh:html><afh:body><f:view><afh:head>blah</afh:head>
    <afh:body><af:form><af:panelPage>
    a lot of <f:facets>
    <h:panelGrid columns="1">
    <f:column>
    <f:verbatim escape="false">
    <af:outputText value="#{MyBean.WorksFine}"/>
    </f:verbatim>
    </f:column>
    <f:column>
    <f:verbatim escape="false">
    <object classid="234" and more object stuff>
    <param name="WORKS" value="WORKS"/>
    <param name="<%=WORKS%>" value="<%=WORKS%>" />
    <param name="#{MyBean.FAILS}" value="#{MyBean.FAILS}" />
    </object>
    </f:verbatim>
    </f:column>
    </f:panelGrid>
    and so on to
    </f:view>
    To make a long story short my new implementation depends on being able to rid my JSP of all the <% %> stuff so that I can perform magic in my Managed Beans and then pass it to the third party applet.
    I've tried using the <applet> tag and the <jsp:plugin> tags instead of the <object> tag and have the same problem. I also tried removing the escape="false" property from the <f:verbatim> tag. When I look at the Source in the Browser I see the #{MyBean.FAILS} instead of the value it holds. I can successfully use the JSF-EL references inside of a <f:verbatim> tag as long as I refer to it outside of the <object> tag. Once inside the <object> tag the expression is not evaluating.
    My questions are:
    (1) Is there anyway to use a JSF-EL expression inside of an <object> or <param> tag?
    (2) Can you suggest another way that I might pass my Managed Bean properties to the Applet?
    (3) As a worst case, is there anyway that I can access my Managed Bean Properties from inside the <% %> code?
    Thanks. Mark

    Since object and param are not JSF tags, there is no way to access JSF-EL.
    As for accessing the managed beans, you should be able to do so as long as you know they've been instantiated at the point in the page where you make the reference and they are in a scope that you can access from JSP land (like session or application).
    Not the answer you wanted, but I hope it helps.

  • Object ID and Object ID Version fields in Displaying Object Properties - XI

    Hi,
    In displaying Object Properties in XI we can see different fields like Type, Description, SCV, Object ID, Object ID Version, Status, Person Responsible, Changed On, Changed By, Display Language, Original Language.
    But when i refer to the SAP Library documentation for these fields, Object ID and Object ID Version are not included. Here is the link for the documentation
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f0/fc9a3de2ec0753e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/f0/fc9a3de2ec0753e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
    With that said, i have no information on those two fields, only assumptions i've made that i would like to verify in this forum with the questions below
    1.
    Please correct me if i'm wrong, the Object ID is the unique identifier for the object and the Object ID Version is directly connected with the versioning concept for IR and ID, so the Object ID is generated when you create the object  (e.g. MM) and the Object ID Version changes every time that object is edited and change list activated for it. Is this correct?
    Or does the Object ID change every time the object is edited and change list activated for it?
    What is the behavior of these two fields when transported? e.g. dev to qa...  are they both retained on the target IB's?  (specifically for ID objects because the change list needs to be activated first on the target ID)
    2.
    Does any one know where the Object ID and Object ID Version gets stored?  (saved on a table in the ABAP stack or saved somewhere in the Java stack? e.g. can be viewed in Visual Admin or a URL)  I am thinking of extracting all the XI objects with their corresponding Object ID and Object ID Version (per system) in one step.  I know this is possible only if the Object ID & Object ID Version are stored in an ABAP table...
    Kindly give me some inputs.
    Please answer directly with the questions above. I will reward points for it.
    Thanks in advance.

    HI,
    >Please correct me if i'm wrong, the Object ID is the unique identifier for the object and the Object ID Version is directly connected with the versioning concept for IR and ID, so the Object ID is generated when you create the object (e.g. MM) and the Object ID Version changes every time that object is edited and change list activated for it. Is this correct?
    The Object Id is created the first time you create the object.
    Object Version Id is created the first time you save/activate a object.
    Now suppose if you modify the object a new Object Version Id will be created but the Object ID will remain the same.
    For IR Objects the Object Id & Object Version ID will remain the same across systems.
    For ID Objects the Object Id & Object Version ID is not the same across systems.
    Not sure about the table. Can you try in SE11 and check all tables with SXMS*. Could be also that tables might not be available from GUI i.e you might have to login to DB to find out.

  • How to get attribute value from an object inside an object in Xpress

    Does anyone know how to get an attribute value from an object in Xpress in a workflow? I have an object structured as follows:
    <ResourceInfo accountId='mj628' tempId='3483372b787ce7dd:-5d99a0c5:130cb238483:-3600'>
    <ObjectRef type='Resource' name='Google Apps'/>
    </ResourceInfo>
    I need if possible to get the name='Google Apps', which is inside the ObjectRef, so I guess its an attribute value of an object inside an object.

    If the ResourceInfo object is accessible in a variable, i.e. named "myResInfo", you just have to check the Java API and call the relevant method:
    <invoke name='getResourceName'>
      <ref>myResInfo</ref>
    </invoke>

  • How to get the values of the objects inside an object??

    Hi,
    I am trying to write code to display name and memory usage of all session attributes, in a recursive way.
    I suppose reflection is needed here, but I can’t figure out how to get the values of the objects inside an object...
    private void handleIt(String attributeName, Object attributeValue) {
         boolean isPrimitiveOrNull = ((null == attributeValue) ||
              (attributeValue.getClass().isPrimitive()));
         if (isPrimitiveOrNull) {
              sb.append("{" + attributeName + ":" + sizeOf(attributeValue) + "}");
         } else {
              sb.append("{" + attributeName + ":" + sizeOf(attributeValue) + "{");
              Field[] fields = attributeValue.getClass().getDeclaredFields();
              int lim = fields.length;
              String name;
              Object value = null;
              for (int i = 0; i < lim; i++) {
                   name = fields.getName();
                   //LOOK AT THIS LINE: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                   value = fields[i].get(obj); //I don´t know what 'obj' should be??
                   handleIt(name, value);
              sb.append("}");
    Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

    I realized that massive int objects called MAX_VALUE, MIN_VALUE and SIZE where causing the StackOverflow, so I removed them from the analysis.
    This is the resultant code. But I think it isn’t accurate in calculating the real size of objects being got using reflexion.
    Do you or somebody have any more suggestions?

  • In Object Properties dialog box, modify "tab path"...

    For FrameMaker versions up to and including 8 (and I suspect 9).
    Select a graphic, then click in sequence
    ESC g o to open the
    Object Properties dialog box. By default the dialog box opens with the insertion point in the
    Width text entry area.
    Now press TAB four times: The insertion point moves sequentially to the
    Height,
    Top,
    Left, and then
    Color text entry areas.
    I wish the last movement, to the
    Color text entry area, was replaced with movement to the
    Percent text entry area. This would enable me to use the keyboard to efficiently configure the size, position, and scaling of a graphic.
    As it is, I virtually never need to select the graphic's
    Color text entry area and the movement of the insertion point to that essentially useless tool drives me crazy: It makes me TAB all the way 'round the dialog box or grab the pointing device to get it to the
    Percent text entry area...
    Cheers,
    Riley

    Odd... What does your properties dialog look like? Can you post a screenshot of the dialog box? Also, what version of LabVIEW are you running?

  • How to print the properties in an object

    I have the following method that is meant to print all the details in a hashmap (allStudents). this hashmap contains references to objects of different students.
    what i need is to be able to print each object stored in allStudents, and each of those objects properties....
    Please show me the light!!!
        public void printAllStudents()
        for (Integer eachStudent : allStudents) //for each loop
             System.out.println(eachStudent);// prints out every element in set

    Hi Kaj,
    So when I overide the toString method, and then call
    another method that prints out the contents of the
    objects held a Map, the toString formatted text is
    used? If so.. how does that work?For objects (as opposed to primitives), System.out.println() calls the toString method.

  • Question about documenting process maps and form object properties

    Does the new version of Workbench have a tool that allows us to print a report showing the properties of the object used in a form template or process map? For example... showing all of the properties like fonts, size, patterns, defaults, whether or not a field is required, etc...? I am also checking to see if this capability has been added to Workbench for Process Maps?

    No it does not but there is a blog entry by John Briinkman that will analyze your form template and give you some of that information. Here is a link to the blog entry:

    Hi Neil,
    You might want to consider using Avoka's SmartForm Composer to generate your XFA PDF Forms as it has a facility called the "bulk editor" which can show any property of any field, it also provides an export to XLS facility for external review.

If and when they are actually collected is something we can't know or control, and generally don't care about. The only guarantee is that everything that can be collected will be collected before an OutOfMemoryError is thrown. So from our perspective, once it's eligible for collection, it is effectively collected.
    If you pass references to those objects to something else that holds onto them after the method ends, then they are still reachable, and not eligible for collection.
    However, you almost never need to even think about whether something is eligible for GC or not. It works pretty intuitively.

  • Declare object type inside the package

    Hi,
    How can I declare an object type inside the package?
    CREATE TYPE TempObj AS OBJECT (
    user_id number,
    text varchar2(4000),
    date_created DATE
    This will not work if placed inside this:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PACKAGE SAMPLE_PKG IS
    ---declaration goes here.
    END SAMPLE_PKG;
    I tried using the type RECORD and it worked. But I am just curious how to declare an Object. Or maybe RECORD is the replacement of Object? is this correct?
    thanks,
    Baldwin

    The inside of a PL/SQL package should contain PL/SQL statements.
    CREATE TYPE is not a PL/SQL statement. You can't create a table in package either.
    If data protection is the reason that you would rather create the type inside the package, then consider using a record type as you suggested, or hiding the SQL type in a more protected schema.

  • Update All Object Properties on a Single Property Change C#

    How do I update the other properties of an object automatically when I change a single object of that property?
    I have an object with some base properties. When I set one of those base properties to a new value I would like many of the other properties to automatically update. I tried writing a method called UpdateProperties and putting it in the "set" accessor,
    but that doesn't work. If I put it in the "get" accessor the other properties only get updated when I call the single property. I'm a newbie at OOP and need some help.

    Probably you did something wrong in your set and
    UpdateProperties. Compare with this example, which updates the second property when the first one is set:
    class
    MyClass
    private
    int mBaseProperty;
    public
    int BaseProperty
    get {
    return mBaseProperty; }
    set
                         mBaseProperty
    = value;
    UpdateProperties();
    public
    int AnotherProperty {
    get;
    set; }
    private
    void UpdateProperties()
    AnotherProperty = BaseProperty * 100;
    If your case is different, then show some details.

  • Best Practices - Update Explorer Properties of BW Objects

    What are some best practices of using the process chain type "Update Explorer Properties of BW Objects"?
    We have the option of updating Conversion Indexes, Hierarchy Indexes, Authorization Indexes, and RKF/CKF Indexes.
    When should we run each update process?
    Here are some options we're considering:
    Conversion Indexes - Run this within InfoCube load process chains that contain currency conversions within explorer objects.
    Hierarchy Indexes - When would this need to be run? Does this need to be run for PartProviders and/or Snapshots? Do ACRs handle this update? Should this be run within InfoCube load chains, or after ACRs?
    Authorization - We plan to run this a couple times a day for all explorer objects.
    RKF/CKS - Does this need to run after InfoCube loads? With PartProvider and/or Snapshot indexes? After transports have completed?
    Thanks,
