Task Detail Page

I am trying to create a table in the task detail page of the human work flow .
The table is not fetching the data.
the table is displayed without any data.
I created the table from a view object .
the table is a read only table.
Please help me.

Not enough information here to help you.
Do you see any errors when you are running the page?
Does the View fetch data if you run the ADF BC tester (right-click run on the AM)?

  • How to add custom link or button to task details page to open a different t

    Dear All
    In HumanTasks Workflow, On task details page, I want to add a custom link or button. Clicking on this link or button, should load a different task details page.
    The exact business usecase is like this:
    1. We have some human tasks with very detailed payload like about 100 attributes. When the task is submitted for Approval, we send notification emails. These emails shows the Task Details with all these 100 attributes along with standard Approve, Reject buttons etc. NOW in addition to this, we want to add extra custom button/link like Custom View. When we click on this buton or link, it should replace the task details page with the Custom task details page contents. The reason is most of the managers/approvers access their emails on smart phones like iphones. So in these phones, seeing full task details (100 attributes) is very tedious. So we want to provide a simplified view of same task with very minimum attributes like about 10 with Approve, Reject buttons. Now this compact view details will have a button called Detailed View on click on which it loads details page.
    So we want to have 2 pages for a task:
    taskDetails1.jspx -> Has all 100 attributes with a custom button/link called "Compact View". Click on Compact View switch to below page.
    taskCompact1.jspx -> Has only 10 attributes with a custom button/link called "Detailed View". Click on Detailed View switch to above page.
    1. I tried implementing this using the VacationRequest sample where the payload is like creator, startdate, enddate, reason. I already have taskDetails1.jspx page, which shows this information in the email body.
    2. I want to add another button to taskDetails1.jspx so that when I click on it, I want to load a different page like taskCompact.jspx which has only say creator, reason.
    I already added a link and gave the url with parameters like taskId, taskContext etc which I got from bindings, but nothing is displayed when I click on custom button. The taskId, context values are comming correctly in the url.
    So bottom line, what is the URL that I can provide in the task details page, to load a different task details page contents. I want to pass other taskdetails jsp details.
    Please let me know, if there is any other approach to implement this usecase.
    Thanks in advance
    Ravi Jegga

    Hi,
       I am not sure if you can add your own custom buttons to the application tool bar because your table control is in a sub screen area in a standard screen so the menu area would be controlled by the standard screen and not the subscreen , but along side the table control you can give buttons for scrolling and handle the same in the subscreen if you check the FM EXIT_SAPLMEREQ_002 it has a variable IM_UCOMM which would have the ucomm set in the subscreen so here you can handle your user command to scroll on the table control.

  • Task Details Page show 'Attachments' section empty

    hi,
    Using Project Server 2013, when i click on any task in My Task page, it takes me to Task Details where i cannot see any link to Attachments i.e. Issues, Risks and Documents.
    I have created & published a new project but problem still persists.
    Kindly suggest, attached is a screenshot.

    Unfortunately, that is not a feature.
    the document associated with the Project Site "task" is a SharePoint list construct and is contained only in the SharePoint Project Site.
    on the PWA pages, the Project and Project Tasks are Project Server items, and there is no two way communications on this particular level.
    the wording is awkward, but the concept is right.  Sorry, no can do in out of the box.   AFAIK (disclaimer! :)
    direct the users back to the project site to view documents.
    hope that helps,
    Thanks, Eric S. Pcubed

  • ADDING A NEW ITEM IN THE CREDIT REQUEST DETAILS PAGE.

    Dear friends,
    Please help me with this scenario.Thanks so much for your help.
    Task: ADDING A NEW ITEM IN THE CREDIT REQUEST DETAILS PAGE.
    Need to create a new item on this page called "approver notes" (column notes).
    Can this be achieved by personalization?
    Scenario:
    On credit request details page disputed invoice number, request date, status, bill to, ship to, etc are displayed.
    When the status is "not approved”, item should be displayed along the "rejected" comment.
    If the status is other than "not approved" then the item should not be displayed.

    what page is this ? are you sure it is a OAF page ?
    If it is a OAF page, you would need to extend the controller to fire a partial action for the item and then control the display property of the comments field

  • Personalization Issue in Task Summary Page

    My client is trying to add a new column in the Cost Details table in the Task Summary page (Under Project Performance Reporting in PJT) through personalization. They are on 11i.PA.RUP3 (Screen shot in the attachment).
    They have an extended VO which basically is based on the standard Oracle VO with few additional attributes. My client is able to add the column, view the data which was displayed but that newly added column does not appear in the list of available columns when they try to create a personalized view either by duplicating the seeded views like ITD and PTD or from the scratch.
    This works absolutely fine in R12, but in 11i, we are having this problem. Does any one can comment, if this is a bug in the product? or is there any patch already available for this?
    Many thanks,
    Devasish

    Ranjit,Thanks for your reply.
    I am also facing this same issue.
    I just want to know that if userA creates one view,Can userB see this view which is created by userA?
    Because in our case what happens when we click on Personalize button,we can see 5 views and all r not able to update.
    but when we got from Functional Administrator responsibility and search for this page and Click on User Seeded Views,we can see only 4 views and all are updatable.
    I just want to know how can we delete/update fifth view which is only we can see when we click on Personalize button?

  • Task details in BPM worklist on SOA 11g could not retrieved.Experts plz adv

    Hi,
    This is regarding issues when I click on the Task details on the BPM worklist 11G. I am invoking a BPEL process using custom JSP and from the custom JSP form values are
    sent to BPEL and from BPEL i am invoking the Human workflow.
    Tech used: BPEL 11.1.1.2, RCU 11.1.1.2.1, WLS 10.3.2 and DB 10.2.0.4
    I am using one jsp named "myFlow.jsp" to call the BPEL process and i can able to get the Task in worklist but i click on "Task details" , i am getting "404 error".
    Note: There was no errors when i tried with ADF autogenerated form. I can able to approve, reassign and do all operations.
    I got one soultion for that, i mean i have to create another custom jsp(taskDetails.jsp) to fetch the values based on the Task Id and finally i have to give that URI in EM to fetch the details.Today i created that also but i dont know how to give the URI IN EM for the task details jsp. I am refering soa developes guide also to get the API's.
    My Ref: http://sqltech.cl/doc/oas11gR1/integration.1111/e10224/bp_worklistcust.htm
    http://docs.tpu.ru/docs/oracle/en/owl/E14571_01/integration.1111/e10224/bp_designtf.htm
    1. myFlow.jsp used - To initiate the BPEL to create a Task in worklist.(By mistake i gave this URI in EM and i am getting the same request page in the task details). Now i created another jsp which queries the task details based on the Task ID. i dont know how to give the URI in EM for this Jsp.
    2.taskDetails.jsp - Used to retrive the task details based on thr Task id.
    Both Jsp's are displayed below. Please advise how to fetch the task details.
    worklist API provided by oracle is used to fetch only the metadata on the Task details but i have to get all the form values also in the task details that has been submitted
    by my Jsp(myFlow.jsp)
    Both are shown below,

    It's too late but if someone need the answer..
    You can set if the outcome requires comments in General section of the Human Task.

  • List workflow task details

    Hi all,<br>
    We're in the midst of evaluating oracle bpel pm 10.1.2 for our application. I had created an user task using jdeveloper bpel designer. Successfully tested the flow using bpel console and bpel worklist. I intended to develop a gui for displaying the task and task details using jsp pages. listTasks.jsp will display a list of tasks for a person. displayTask.jsp will allow that person to see the task details. Successfully implemented the listTasks.jsp with the following code:<br><br>
    listTasks.jsp<br>
    //import necessary packages<br>
    WorklistService wlSvc = WorklistService.getWorklistService();<br>
    String user = "achrist";<br>
    String password = "welcome";<br>
    IWorklistContext ctx = wlSvc.authenticateUser(user, password);<br>
    Map filterMap = new HashMap();<br>
    //put necessary filter in map<br>
    //get a list of tasks<br>
    //provide a link for user to see details<br>
    //something like <href="displayTask.jsp?taskId=<%= taskId %>"><br>
    //I had checked that the taskId contains value<br><br>
    displayTask.jsp<br>
    //import necessary packages<br>
    String taskId = request.getParameter("taskId");<br>
    if(taskId == null || "".equals(taskId)) {<br>
    //do something<br>

    I'm having problem with displayTask.jsp as how to proceed further. I'm using a schema file which contains info like customer name, address, customer id, and loan amount. How am I supposed to display those values in the jsp page? I saw a file called taskConfigSimpleUserActivity1_WF_Form.jsp, how can I make use of it? Any suggestion are welcomed and thanks in advance.<br><br>

    I have a similar issue with my version of SharePoint.
    SharePoint 2010 Enterprise.
    Outlook 2013 with MS Exchange
    Document approval workflow.
    When you open the document approval email that comes from SharePoint and click on "Open this task"  the popup window flashes across "workflow tasks details are being retrieved from the server ".
    I've tried the regedit fix and the hive fix and resetting IE that some of the other people have said that works and it doesn't.
    When I go the site, and connect the task list to Outlook, I can complete the task that way.
    I also created a new approval workflow in SharePoint designer and it behaves the same way.
    Anything else I should try?

  • Error encountered when opening a Task UI page

    There are two user tasks in a process and we have generated two jspx files under a single UI Project for these tasks. When we tested the same in workspace, we noticed that first task UI page is displaying correctly but when we try to open the second task(Review) page we are encountering a error message "Details not available for this task". Any insights would be appreciated.

    User12963822,
    It is hard to say what happened but apparently the second form did not get created properly. Can you say if it looks okay when you open the jspx and flow? Do you see the data control?
    You could try to generate the form again. If you can't get it to work, please send me the project and I'll take a look.
    Heidi.

  • OIM 11g - Email Notification with direct link to Approval Task Details

    Hi,
    We wanted to send email notifications to approver with direct link to the approval task details screen from which the user can either approve or reject the request. In OIM 11g OOTB Notification templates such as Request Creation contains the direct link to Request Detail screen which is something like
    http://localhost:14000/oim/faces/pages/Self.jspx?OP_TYPE=LOOKUP;E_TYPE=MY_REQUEST&T_ID=65
    Wondering if there is something similar for Approval Task Details screen as well.
    Any kind of help or suggestion is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Deepa

    If at all you cannot get the direct link for approve/reject then try the actionable email from SOA. Once you have that configured the emails gets approver/reject links so that approvers can directly approve/reject the task from email. If that works for you then you can look at the format of those links in the email and deduce what you need the url as.

  • Task details are not refreshed on task selection in BPM

    Hi All,
    I have a Notification project which is generated for the human task. In the BPM, when I try to select any of the tasks, it shows the task details of only one task. These are not being refreshed even after I choose some other task. The task details seem to be those of the first task. Can someone please suggest a solution? I am totally stuck here.
    Am I missing some setting here?
    Thanks,
    Divya.

    Hi Sam,
    I think you need to create an "Empty1.jspx" with the following code inside:
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.1"
    xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
    xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
    xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich">
    <jsp:directive.page contentType="text/html;charset=UTF-8"/>
    <f:view>
    <af:document id="d1">
    <af:form id="f1"></af:form>
    </af:document>
    </f:view>
    </jsp:root>
    This should... for some reason.. auto close the taskflow

  • Manually launching a Task Results page

    I have a working end user workflow that I'd like to automatically redirect to the task results page. Specifically I want the user info details captured on creates and updates...specific attributes that changed. This is automatic when I look at the task under Server Tasks. I edited workItemEdit.jsp to go to requestResults.jsp on finish, but it doesn't have the task id to reference the details. Has anyone been able to do this?
    Thanks in advance,
    J

    Please cross-post in ADF forum -

    It should be possible.

  • Timeout problem - record is not shown properly in detail page after timeout

    Hi,
    I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0.3984
    and JHeadstart 10.1.3.1 Release 10.1.3.1.26
    I have a Master View Object where there is a field ID (for example M_VO).
    There is a page associated with M_VO (Page_M_VO.jspx)
    There is a Detail View Object (for example D_VO)
    There is a page associated with D_VO (Page_D_VO.jspx)
    There is a link from M_VO to D_VO using the field ID.
    When I open the page Page_M_VO.jspx and select an ID and go to the detail page Page_D_VO.jspx, it goes to the detail page Page_D_VO.jspx. It works fine.
    But the problem is:
    If for example I have three ID (111, 222, 333), in master page if I select 222 and go to detail page it shows the appropriate records for 222 as I selected 222 in master page. If I keep the detail page open for more than the timeout minutes specified in web.xml and then try to access the detail page again it ask for userid and password (which is fine). If I put userid and password, then it shows the detail page with the first record which is the record associated with the ID 111. But before timeout I was working with the ID 222, so it should show the record associated with ID 222 as I was working with ID 222 before timeout.
    Can anybody help me to solve this problem?

    I would put my money on the fact that since your application is timing out, it is dropping any state that your View Objects otherwise had before the application timeout.
    So upon reauthorizing and reaccessing the application (and going directly to the detail page) the View Object is reinstantiated and only knows to go to its default data set which is 111.
    If my assumption is correct, I don't think you could really implement this without a lot of trouble.
