Tax Jurisdiction Code not defined for procedure TAXSE

Hello,
We are facing any issue with the error "Tax Jurisdiction Code not defined for procedure TAXSE"
We are in mid of production bill run and this is getting very critical. Any pointers would be highly appreciated.
The company code country is SE (Sweden)
We have 2 BPs with address in California, US.
The Billing is successful for both the BPs.
While invoicing, one BP is successful.
The other is going in error "Tax Jurisdiction Code not defined for procedure TAXSE".

You have entered a jurisdiction code in a country whose calculation procedure
does not allow the entry of jurisdiction codes.

Hi
Go to the following SPRO config-
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide-->Financial Accounting-->Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable--->Basic Functions--->Contract Accounts--->Field Modifications--->Configure Field Attributes per Activity
Select Change and double-click on field grouping Jurisdiction code.
You will get the following screen.
You have to tick the option Changes plannable and then you will be able to remove jurisdiction code from CAA2
Hope it helps..

  • While doing MIRO i am getting an error: Enter a tax jurisdiction code

    Hi,
While doing a MIRO, i am getting an error :
    Enter a tax jurisdiction code
    Message no. M8757
    How to Resolve
    Pratik

    Hi
    Try this
1.To enter the tax amounts of the G/L account items, choose Extras ® Tax amounts. The Tax Amounts screen appears.
You can branch to this screen at any point during document entry.
The Tax Amounts screen shows the tax amount, tax code, posting key, tax base amount, and jurisdiction code for all the items already entered. When you call up this screen after entering the G/L account items, it displays the amounts that have already been entered.
2.You can now choose how you want to enter the taxes.
The tax jurisdiction codes represent the different taxing authorities to which you submit payment for taxes EG: the state, county, city etc.
In SAP you can have as many as 4 levels. Configuration is done in 2 steps :
    First step :
The tax jurisdiction structure (structure of the tax code) is set up with following menu path :
IMG >Financial accounting> Fi Accounting basic settings> tax on sales/purchases > basic settings > specify structure for tax jurisdiction code.
Alternatively you can use t-code OBCO
This step allows you the enter the character length of your various level of hierarchy within your tax jurisdiction code structure (State 2 char, county 3, city 4, etc...).
    Second step:
You configure the tax jurisdiction code using the structure defined earlier, menu path :
IMG >Financial accounting> Fi Accounting basic settings> tax on sales/purchases > basic settings > define tax jurisdiction codes.
    Alternatively t-code  OBCP
Define your tax jurisdiction codes, EG GA0000000 for Georgia, GA001000 for Georgia, douglas county, GA001001 for georgia, douglas county, city of lithia springs.

  • Change Tax Jurisdiction code (TXJCD) in Cost Center Master Data

    Hi There,
We have a problem of making change to Tax Jurisdiction Code in Cost Center Master Data. We are on ECC 6.0 with Vertex system as external tax system. When we create Cost center, system automatically derive tax jurisdiction code from vertex) external system).  Now Vertex have made changes to Tax Jurisdiction Code for same place based on US Gov directive. these changes are time period base say from 01/01/2008 to 06/30/2009 Tax Jurisdiction Code  "TX1000" and from 07/01/2009 to 12/31/999 Tax Jurisdiction Code  "TX2000" (example)  When we go to change mode in Cost Center, system automatically derive the new Tax Jurisdiction Code  and update the cost center with new Tax Jurisdiction Code  "TX2000". When we book invoice for cost center, with back date say 06/29/2009, system through the error, that it is not a valid Tax Jurisdiction Code.
My question is; how can we maintain two different Tax Jurisdiction Code  in SAP for Cost Center? From configuration stand point of view, we have maintained TXJCD as time dependent field, but still this field is grayed out and sytem populate the Tax Jurisdiction Code  from external system, since we have installed vertex system for tax purpose.
    Please let me know.

    Pawan,
have you received any response on this or identified any solutions as I have also a similar request.

    Hi Sudeep,
How did it work? Do you have to implement any BADI's or SRM or R/3 side? As we are getting same error while creating Shopping Cart in SRM.

    Hi,
    Follow the path:
SPRO->Enterprise Structure->Definition-> Logistic- General->Define, copy, delete, check plant-> Define plant
Here select your plant and go to details and check did you enter u201CTax Jurisdictionu201D code here, If not enter u201CTax Jurisdictionu201D and save.
    Now try ur transaction now.
Also check OBCL (see tax code must be input tax with your co. code) and OBBG and all assignment.
    Also check in FTXP,
    1. Tax Code CD, Tax Jurisdiction is there or not?
    2. For your tax code CD, check is the tax is input tax?
    3. And in tax code CD ,check account key like VST / NVV / NAV and the tax rate is zero percentage or not?

  • T-Code for craring Tax Jurisdiction Code

    Hi,
I need to define tax codes in FTXP,before that i need to define Tax Jurisdiction Codes.Kindly advice me where can i create the new Jurisdiction Codes.
    Thanks
    Supriya

Use T Code OBCP or the following path in SPRO.
Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Define Tax Jurisdictions.
When you execute the above transaction, system prompts for a "Costing Sheet"!!!  Don't get surprised; press F4 or click on the drop-down icon, select an appropriate tax procedure from the drop-down list, and press Enter.  Create your jurisdiction codes in the next screen.

  • Payment order are not defined for extended withholding  tax

    Hi Gurus,
Would you please help me with the message below. It appears on F110 when I try to pay a vendor open item with extended withholding tax:
Message FZ626 -Payment orders are not defined for extended withholding tax
In my company payment orders are created in F110 for accounts payable, as we use another ERP system (Baan) to perform the local accounts payments, and now I've just activated Extended withholding tax functionality With accumulation (necessary in Brazil) but I get this error.
Is it not possible to user payment order with extended withholding tax + accumulation? I find it hard to believe...
I've tried to unflag the payment order only for the payment method I'm using in FBZP t.code, but then no payment order were created but instead a payment document were posted with the withholding tax accumulation, but this is not the way we are working, and nothing is sent to Baan
    any help is welcome

The payment method "Y" the option "payment order only" was marked?
For a withholding tax type with accumulation in a company code with extended withholding tax payment
methods that create only payment orders can´t be used. Payment orders can only be created only if there are
no tax types with accumulation involved in the paid items of the payment run.
The functionality extended withholding tax works fine for Brazil
however, you can´t use the payment order with this functionality.
Please, review your customizing for payment method 'Y" in transaction
    FBZP.

    hi
    while generating invoice
    getting the follwing error.
"Account 113000 3000 not defined for tax postings"\
    here 3000 is company  code.
    wats the solution for this...

    Hi
OK, you need to change back your G/L account, not to be defined as a VAT account.
Then, go to Financial Accounting / Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable / Basic Functions / Postings and Documents / Document / Define Account Assignments for Automatic Postings / Automatic G/L Account Determination / Define Accounts for Sales/Purchase Tax.
Check there if any of the accounts you entered is 113000. If that is the case, correct the entry.

TREAD LOCKED SINCE IT IS DUPLICATED FROM THREAD payment order are not defined for extended withholding  tax

    Hi,
On the analysis,  the system expects an entry in the T059Q table with
    code as XX.
The reason being in the extended withholding tax we use multiple
witholding tax codes and these entries are stored in the table
with_item. And in BSEG we populate the field withholding tax code i.e.
BSEG-QSSKZ  with the value 'XX'. In classical withholding tax we used to
store the code directly which is not possible with Extended withholding
    tax.
As the field BSEG-QSSKZ refers to the values in the table T059Q-QSSKZ
the entry 'XX" needed in this table for the corresponding country of the
company code to maintain the correct relationship and consistent
    database information.
Hence for the statistical purpose and for the internal calculations we
need an entry in the table T059Q. Could you please maintain this code
i.e. 'XX' also in the table T059Q in a test system? Then retest your issue.
    This should resolve your issue.
    Kind Regards,
    Vanessa.

  • Tax Jurisdiction code for EDI Incoming invoice

    Hi,
We have implemented EDI incoming invoice using INVOIC02. The process code is INVL.The invoice is to be posted against a Purchase Order line item. It is noticed that the EDI invoice is not getting the Tax Jurisdiction code from the Purchase Order line . Instead the Tax Juridiction code is copied from the company code. However when we post the invoice manually using MIRO , then the Tax Juridiction code is copied from the Purchase Order. We understand that the system should take the Tax Jurisdiction code from the Purchase Order even for EDI invoices. Is it compulsory that we have to use the user exit EXIT_SAPLMRMH_014 in order to populate the Tax Jurisdiction code field TXJCD from the Purchase Order line? or is there any config required to enable the transfer of Tax Juridication code from the Purchase Order? In transaction OBCE there is a config to transfer the tax jurisdiction code supplied by the external vendor. If we do not check that box , then system is supposed to get the tax jurisdiction code from the Purchase Order.
    Thanks
    Sukumar

The issue is resolved through OSS Note 506343. In the standard R/3 system, the tax jurisdiction code can't be written to invoice via EDI and only the Ship To Plant's Tax Jurisdiction Code is written to the invoice.
