TcLookupOperationsIntf is not working in OIM 10g

Hi,
I am using the following api
tcLookupOperationsIntf luOperationsIntf = (tcLookupOperationsIntf)objUtilityFactory.getUtility("Thor.API.Operations.tcLookupOperationsIntf");
tcResultSet lookupExists = luOperationsIntf .getLookupValues("Look up name");
and when calling tcResultSet lookupExists = lookupOperationsIntf.getLookupValues("Look up name"); null pointer exception is coming. It seems I am not able to retrieve any values using luOperationsIntf . Recently we have upgraded to BP 19. does any one know if there is a change in the API?

I want to check if the lookup is empty , if not I need to remove all the lookup values and insert new values. It seems like none of the api are working for tcLookupOperationsIntf lookupIntf = (tcLookupOperationsIntf)tcFactory.getUtility("Thor.API.Operations.tcLookupOperationsIntf");
lookupIntf .getANYAPI leads to null pointer exception. I have used this earlier and it worked for me. Im doubting if this occurs after the patch upgradeAny suggestions?

PS: TABLE_FORM_BLOCK is a built-in for internal use, usually auto generated by forms. For a moment I didn't get what that meant, need more coffee.

select * from <<table>> is working.

Try to use the OLE2 fuction from WEBUTIL library. There is function in webutil CLIENT_OLE2.

We are recently upgraded Oracle Discovere 10g from 4.1, some calculations are not working in Discoverer 10g. I appreciate if you could fix below calculation(s) in 10g.

Not sure exactly what this might be... there could be an issue there.
Please make sure that you review the upgrade.log. Are there any errors / warnings?
Also, you might wanna peek the Metalink Note:262623.1 - Master Note for OracleAS Portal Upgrade Issues, where you'll find some nice things where to start looking at.
Later you may wanna open a Service Request into the Oracle Support.

ADF is not working in JDeveloper 10g

Hi all,
I've been trying to get ADF to work with JDeveloper 10g but to no avail. I've followed the steps from the following link: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/how-to-adf-faces-10gjdev-085657.html
the only thing that i fail to follow is in creating the library. I have only the adf-faces-api.jar and adf-faces-impl.jar but not the share-1_1_18.jar
I do not know whether this is creating the problem as my error message is not helpful.

Now that I've looked at the linked article...
That was showing you how to use a very early version of ADF Faces (a pre-release, in fact) with a very old version of JDeveloper. That document is nearly 9 years old.
Starting with JDeveloper 10.1.3, ADF Faces is "built-in"
And since JDeveloper 10.1.3.x, we have had both the JDeveloper 11.1.1.x and 11.1.2.x series released.
Why are you still using 10.1.2.x?

Logout does not work in OIM after enabling OAM SSO

We have installed a webgate to protect xlWebApp in OIM. Once the SSO is enabled, the logout does not work in the OIM user interface. How to solve this issue?
Metalink has a solution where we need to add document.location="http://host:port/access/oblix/lang/en-us/logout.html"; in xlWebApp\tiles\tjspLogoffTiles.jsp. This is the logout URL of OAM. Is there any other way so we can have a logout page in the OIM application/server itself?

I did what you suggested and initially it looked like it is working but there is slight issue. When I click Logout, it redirects to the logout screen. After logging out when I try to access xlWebApp it prompts for the login (i am using basic authentication). If I cancel it and again try to access xlWebApp, it lets me in without any prompt. This issue is in IE only but not in Firefox. Not sure what's the issue.
Btw, to make the logout screen work, I had to unprotect the following with None Authentication:
- /xlWebApp/pages/logout.html (logout page)
- /xlWebApp/images
- /xlWebApp/css/Xellerate.css
- /xlWebApp/css/style.css

Formula Columns are not working in Reports 10g

Hi,
We converted the reports developed in Reports 6i to Reports 10g. When we run the report in Reports 10g Builder everything works fine. But when we deploy the same report in Oracle Application Server and invoking the report the formula columns are not working ie., the fields/ placeholder columns which are based on the formula column are not displaying any values in the report.
Please, someone help us in this regard.

the same form is not working in 10g . i got this error.

According to Metalink's Developer 2.1 Release Notes (Doc ID #90090.1), section 4.2.1, "TABLE_FROM_BLOCK Built-In":
DO NOT use the TABLE_FROM_BLOCK built-in described in the
documentation. It is reserved for internal use only. No support
for this built-in will be provided under any circumstances.
If you used this built-in, you will need to recode your from(s) for 10g.

Self Registration and Attestation is not working in OIM 9.1.0.4

Hi,
i have setup a new OIM environment using OC4J. I am able to create users and provision IT resource but self registration and attestation is not working. not sure it is OC4J issue or OIM issue. For self registration it says request is submitted but when I login as xelsysadm and dlon't see any pending request and same thing happens for attestation. It dowsn't display any error but never gets completed and don't see this also in pending request list. If anybody has idea to debug the issue then let me know and thanks for help.

As per given bug it is looking for jars which is missing
have you install connector using deployment manager?? if yes it copy required jars at target location. verify if not there copy jars in Scheduled Task folder.
Check the document if any external jars required and same put at ThirdParty folder

F7 & F8 key is not working in forms 10g

I am working with oracle application version 10.1.2.3.0, installed on windows server 2003 and database 10gR2 on windows server 2008. When i open any form and tries F8 / F7 to executed & enter
query, its not working. But its owrking with with F11 and shitp + F11. I want to use F7 & F8 for enter/execute the query. I have same another same environment with same configuration, there F7
& F8 is working fine. To enable these keys i rename fmrpcweb.res to fmrweb.res. But guide me with your sincere suggessions & experience.

Ctrl+Z fuctianlity is not working in oracle 10g Form

I am using oracle 10g form and using
Edit_TextItem to invoke Text Editor
When i using CTRL+Z to undo things in editor it is not working but it works when i used Form6i.
Please help me to solve this issue. i need to this functinality to be work.

Enter key not working in forms 10g

Hi guys,
Enter key to select a form is not working
on my application.
I have to double click the form to open it using the mouse.
Then if we try to exit we have to press exit that many number of times as we have pressed enter key.
So it seems to be storing the key processes.
We are using forms 10g.
Please help.
