Temporary email address in Transaction ME21N

I want to maintain (temporary email address in Transaction ME21N) e-mail address in the PO header details of the vendor and the system has to send the PO from the temporary email address. But it is considering from the vendor master only .How to change the e-mail settings?

Nick,
   That is how SAP has designed the output functionality since PO information is confidential and should be transmitted only to the supplier (to the default e-mail address specified in the vendor master record) and not to any other third party e-mail address that a user can specify or change in the PO directly.
   If you still wish to achieve this, then you need to set up the partner functionality for your vendor and assign a default partner (you can specify a different e-mail address for your partner record) to your PO output.

    The smart form program will call the concern function ..First check the code in the smartform

    Select single smtp_addr from ADR6 into lv_smtp_addr where
                        ADDRNUMBER = lv_adrnr.
    As Per SAP OSS Notes ---
    When using external mail, the following basic settings are required:191470
    1. You must maintain an e-mail address in the address in the vendor master.
    2. The same applies to your own user master. You also have to specify an e-mail address there in order to identify the sender.
    Note that it is not possible to change the e-mail address of the vendor via the SAP purchase order transaction (ME21N, ME22N, and so on).
    You can only make a permanent change using the vendor master transactions XK02 or MK02.
    You can use a temporary email address in Transaction ME21N.
    Address the table in the smartform where you get the temporary email address in Transaction ME21N .

    Hello All,
    We have a tricky siutation during upgrade where we could able to maintain multiple external email addresses in transaction XK01/XK02 ( vendor master) in the email address in below format.
    Now in ECC 6.0, it is not allowing to maintain more than one email address which is having @ symbol!!.
    Is there a way to maintain multiple external email addresses?.
    Is there a way to download all email address from (4.6c) system and upload the same into ECC 6.0?.
    Appreciate if you can get me some ides / tricks or SAP notes if any.

  • Maintaining Email address in VV31

    Hello Experts,
    My need is to send invoice to customer via Email (PDF).
    I arrived to do it using output type with option: External send (Medium 5) but I had to specify the customer Email in the master data TR: XD02. And it's nicely done.
    My main question is:
    - Is it possible to manage Email address in Transaction VV31 without updating customer master data ?
    - If yes, which function should I choose (MA, MP, BP ,...) when adding new condition record in VV31 ?
    - The Email address should be assigned  to the field partner ?
    Last question:
    - When using transmission medium  7 (internal) the mail will arrive as a blank PDF... I don't know why...
    - What's the difference between Medium 5 (External send) and 7 (internal).

    To SVP4SD: I performed my test with:
    Medium 5 option 4
    I filled my E-mail address in the advised field: Cover Page Text
    Communication strategy set to: CS01
    But, I don't understand why I must choose Medium 1 and option 4
    For me I have to work with Medium 5 and option doesn't matter.
    To Sadhu Kishore: The final user want to avoid a fixed mail value for each customer and assign mail when validating the invoice (Even change it).
    I have the same point of view as Sadhu Kishore and Meher Souayeh and I'm convinced that the better way to achieve this issue is by updating Master Data.
    But if someone have another issue it will be very interesting.

    I beleive, you would like to send the PO output as e-mail through output messages.
    Write a requirment formula (TCODE: VOFM). check for a chage in header text. If it changes then set sy-subrc = 0. otherwise sy-subrc = 4.
    Use this requirement formula in access sequences for application EF.

    I am a member of skype with the profile name 'anoopsaha'. Yesterday, someone changed my registered email address on skype from <my_email_id>@gmail.com to <my_email_id>@gmail.com.tw. Furthermore, they also charged US $30 on my credit card. In addition, they have created a new account with my email address and the name of 'anoopsha', making sure that I cannot reach my original account.
    Skype was my primary tool for business communication and I have lost all my contacts. Is there any solution to this problem?

  • I changed my apple id email address to try jumpstart my account to send me a verification email for iCloud activation.  It worked but now I cannot change back to my original email address.  It says its in use.

    Hi Guys
    I am writing this on behalf of a friend of mine.  To understand my issue let me explain how it started.  My friend has a apple ID with email address (lets call it) [email protected]  when activating iCloud on her iPhone a email was sent to verify her account.  This was not done and rendered the iCloud feature disabled due to not being activated.  [email protected] is the correct email address and works.  A form of troubleshooting I used the iForgot service to test if the email address was correct and mail flow from apple was working and it worked fine.
    I logged into apple id to manage account and resend activation email for iCloud.  this did not send the mail.  I waited 48hrs but to no avail.
    I decided to kickstart the account to force it to send to another email address by changing the primary email address from [email protected] to [email protected]  it worked and I verified the address and iCloud is now active.  However now I cannot change the primary email address back to [email protected] as it says its being used by another apple ID. 
    I then tried iForgot with the [email protected] email address, it says it sent a email to [email protected] but nothing arrived in [email protected] or [email protected]
    I have this feeling the [email protected] is stuck I'm memory on my apple ID some how but can't get it to forget [email protected] so that I can use it as my primary email address again.
    I have tried to log into iTunes with my original details [email protected] and password but says its incorrect.
    any advices in this would be greatly appreciated.

    The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

  • Multiple AppleIDs with linked emails unable to be switched...can I unverify an email address that I already verified?

    There is a major flaw in the design and use of AppleIDs and their use across the entire Apple product line.  It could be fixed easily if I could "unverify" an email address that I used for a certain appleID.  After over an hour talking with phone tech support they had no clue what to do so I proposed a temporary solution and gave up. 
    The problem is I had an apple id that I used for iTunes, and I had my main email address which was from MobileMe which got switched over to iCloud.  My iTunes appleID is of the form that is just a word and not an email address.  Because of this I was unable to use it for iCloud.  The email address associated with the iTunes account appleID was my main email address which happened to be my MobileMe email address.  Apparently once an email address has been verified with an account there is no way to unverify that email address.  I already realized that I would have to have 2 appleIDs , one for iTunes and one for mobile me and I was ok with that.  The problem was that the MobileMe email address would not let me set it as my email address because it had already been verified with my iTunes appleID.  This left my MobileMe/icloud email address even though it IS an email address in and of itself, without an associated email address.  I am unable to associate the email address that I want with that appleID.  My solution was to create yet another email account and just use that but now that is causing problems with apps like "iMessage" , "Find my Friends" , and "FaceTime."  I want my correct email address (MobileMe/icloud address) to be used to identify me me with my friends and relatives act.  not the email address that I was forced to create as a temporary solution.  If there was just a way to "Unverify" an email address or merge accounts this would not be a major issue.  As it stands though this is a very confusing and incredibly annoying problem that Phone TechSupport had no clue whatsoever as to what could be done.  Does anyone know a fix or if there is some way to Unverify an email address that you used (the lady on techsupport said they couldn't).

    I've also had this issue and it beggars belief that they could have something so stupid as a policy.
    I have no less than 8 Apple devices that I use actively not to mention the family who  have more.
    I have an Itunes account and have bought a load of music and movies etc.
    I also (foolishly) took a MobileMe subscription and hardly used it.
    Now, when I try to register for Facetime I can't register the one and only email address that I use.
    Apple support says even though they have been using that for purchases on Itunes, App Store, MobileMe, etc etc, I cannot use it for Facetime! And Facetime requires the address so people who know me and know my one and only email address can call me on Facetime.
    No, instead, I must use another new email address!!
    How totally stupid.
    Support are really unhelpful on this issue as well. They keep talking about multiple accounts and the address being used on these accounts. These accounts are Itunes, MobileMe. And who do they belong to?? One person, ME!!!

    I'm not sure if this is a good place to post this but after spending a good bit of time on the phone with FiOS customer service and technical support I just feel like venting my frustrations and hope that maybe someone could give me a valid explanation of why this cannot be done.
    To give a brief (hopefully) summary of what's going on...
    My wife and I are currently in the process of moving from Florida to Maryland because of the current job market and economy situation.  As always...the moving process has been a "blast".  For at least a few months we will be "between" homes and will be staying with friends.  Because of this we had to cancel our FiOS service (which I did last week and it will be shutting off sometime today).  Since we've been very please with the actual service FiOS provides we have (or maybe I should say "had") every intention of signing back up with Verizon once we're in a new home in the Maryland area.
    So here's where the trouble comes into play...I contacted Verizon to see if it would be possible to somehow transfer our existing Verizon.net email addresses from our account to my friend's account (the person I'm staying with).  You would've thought I was asking for a year's worth fo free service.  Initially I was told by customer service that this can't be done.  They explained that an email address is like a phone number and two separate accounts cannot have the same email address.  Thanks for the newsflash!  I explained again that what I wanted to do was move my email addresses so they would now be associated with my friends account.  This didn't seem like such a horrible request considering my friend pays for FiOS service and with that gets 9 available email addresses....and was only using 2 of them.  She ultimately just told me it was something that couldn't be done.  But she did inform me of the "Verizon Your Domain" service that would allow current FiOS subscribers to associate their Verizon.net email account with a new domain name that you create.  It would cost $20 per year and would allow you to keep your Verizon.net email if you canceled FiOS service.  This sounded like an ok option.
    But still -- I was curious why I couldn't transfer email addresses.  So I then contacted technical support.  This time it was explained to me that an email address was like a social security #.  It couldn't just be given to another person.  Great analogies in use at Verizon....I give them that.  I told the guy I was a fellow "techie" and asked him for a more detailed explanation.  That's when it got good.  That's what killed me.  He spent all this time talking about ACL's and routing and how email addresses couldn't be moved because "you're talking about 2 million addresses".  Long and short he was trying to say the Verizon email system was just too complex.  Finally I told him that it had to be something that could be done....and his exact words were "well sure it can be done...but we're not going to do it if you're not paying for a service".  Wow!  Great response!  I've been a paying customer of FiOS for about two years.  I've had some form of service with Verizon for about 15 years (from phone service to mobile service with V-Wireless).  I fully understand that I'm no longer paying for FiOS service.  But my friend is.  And he has 7 email accounts he's not using.  So why couldn't they be moved?  Because the system is too complex?  Give me a break.  Like this guy finally admitted...it boils down to money.
    Finally I gave up.  I told my wife that we'd just have to deal with switching to a new email address.  Life will move on.  She wanted to try the "Verizon Your Domain" option though.  She started doing the process online...had some questions....and decided to call customer service.  She got transferred around to three different people...the last of which told her "you need to call a different department" and then CLICK. 
    Great, great job Verizon.  All I ask is if someone could give me some sort of response that makes sense.  If you just don't want to offer the transfer option then tell me. 
    I expect to be in a new home within a month or two.  And suddenly Comcast is looking very good.

    In fact, a "repoint" of an email address CAN be completed onto another account AND it does not overwrite anything on the receiving account.    Each acount, whether its a FiOS account or a copper account, has an account number.   The email address is assigned to the account number.    The email address can be "repointed" from one account to another, as an 'add-on' to the new account, then it can be 'repointed' back to another account later.    HOWEVER, the contract does say that you must have a valid account.  AND, Verizon cannot (no company can) allow you to manipulate someone else's account.  
    as to the "after your acount is closed, contact tech support. If you get the right agent they will "enable" your email", well, the fact is that the account has to be provisioned to an address.   So, though I have come accross accounts that seemed to still be "on" after the listed close date, it was not something that verizon's tier 1 tech support can effect (that's who you get on the phone when you call tech support) (note that 'sales' could not do this for you, either)   So good luck with that.
    What happens is that Verizon will not allow anyone to take your email addresses for at least 6 months. 
      Before you cancelled you may have had an option to have a notice auto-replied to any email that gets sent to your email address, for a limited amount of time, like they can do with a telephone number ("this number has been changed to . . . . . ")  that "this email address is temporarily suspended, or something. . . . I said MAY have had the opportunity. .. .   but if it was me, I would get to where you are going and make sure they have Verizon internet account already   and have them call verizon tech support (so they can verify their account info)  with you standing there so that you can verify your old account info and immediately and plainly ask if you can have an email "repoint" done for you.

    Contact AppleCare at 800.694.7466, and ask for account security.  You will need to answer some questions to verify your identity, AND you will need access to a computer to generate a temporary support pin.

    You need to go to Manage your Apple ID, https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/, and sign in with your current Apple ID and password and do the following:
    1.     Edit your current Apple ID and change it back to the ID which is displaying for your iCloud account. You do not need to verify it - this is only a temporary change
    2.     Go into Settings>iCloud on your device and delete the iCloud account. Use your current password when your are prompted for a password
    3.     Once the old iCloud account is deleted, go back into Manage your Apple ID and change your ID back to the current one
    4.     Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign on with your current ID and password
    That should take care of your issue!
