Termination due to data type-Emigall

Hello,
Through Emigall, we have generated our structures to create business partner and contract account. If we preapre a sample file through data import and execute that file, the record is created without any error. But when we created our own file in text delimited format, and import that file, there is an error which occurs 'Termination due to data type' with message number EM109. But the strange thing is that the record is created. We dont know whether we should ignore this error or get rid of this error. Please can you guide us how do we get rid of this error.
Regards,
Charvi

Charvi,
I am not sure I understand the problem. I'll try to rephrase your statements and I'd appreciate your comments:
Through Emigall, we have generated our structures to create business partner and contract account
I assume you have created a hyper migration object including the PARTNER and ACCOUNT migration objects, right?
If we prepare a sample file through data import and execute that file, the record is created without any error
You are using the import file editor to create new data objects in a new import file, right? An the import file (created by the import file editor) can be loaded w/o any problems, right?
But when we created our own file in text delimited format ...
I understand, that you have created a text file and converted it into the binary file format. How did you do this? As an upload through the import file editor or through the conversion program REMIG_FILE_TRANSFORM?
The job is cancelled (error due to data type) but the data object is created?
This happens, when the database changes have been commited (after calling the service function module) and the next data record does contain a strange record data type (at least something that cannot be interpreted as such)
Certainly you should not ignore this error because the application log of this job will not be available after a cancellation. I suggest to analyse your text file. There might find some additional lines with or without with spaces or something else you should remove prior to a conversion.
Cheers,
Fritz

  • Report execution terminated due to oversized report data.

    Hi
    We are trying to run the OOTB report Trend By Category-Spend Trend Analysis by category.We are getting the message
    "Report execution terminated due to oversized report data. Apply filters to narrow down result set." But we are not getting the link to Bex however the report is displayed in UI.
    We get Bex link for other large reports.
    Why is it not directing to Bex in this case?
    Regards
    Neel

    Hi Neel,
    You typically get a message (which can be customized in the 'Application Properties') when the size of a reports exceeds beyond a certain limit (which can also be customized in the 'Application Properties').  In the application properties you can turn on a check box that provides a Bex link.
    So if you receive this message along with the BEx link for other reports and not for specific reports, this tells me that there might be other errors in these reports thats preventing from displaying the message.  Please check under the UI application logs and also the portal logs to see if there are any additional messages, may be that will give you some clue as to what the problem might be.

    In the above wsdl the collection of fintObjInst if of type xs:anytype. From the wsdl, I do not see the xsd mapping for AccountIC which includes Name and Desc. Due to which, when invoking the web service from a different client like c#(by creating proxy business service), I am unable to set the parameters for AccountIC. I am using JAX-WS stack and WLS 10.3. I have already looked at blog http://weblogs.java.net/blog/kohlert/archive/2006/10/jaxws_and_type.html but unable to solve this issue. However, at run time using a tool like SoapUI, when this wsdl is imported, I am able to see all the params related to AccountIC class.
    Can some one help me with this.
    Thanks,
    Sudha.

    Did you try adding the the XmlSeeAlso annotation to the webservice
    @XmlSeeAlso({<package.name>.AccountIC.class})
    This will add the schema for the data type (AccountIC) to the WSDL.
    Hope this helps.

  • Dute date type in ical

    I am having sync issues with ical and two third party apps (iGTD/Life Balance).
    I get conflicts all the time about a field in ical called Due Date Type which is set to Yes in ical and No in the third party apps.
    Is there any info anyone can give me about this, or possibly a way to edit that field in ical tasks to stop my conflict resolver going off all the time.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Please maintain the length field as 12 months or 365 days in Base Entitlement table and re-try.

    Hi Stephan,
    As I understand, you are encountering the issue that Workflow Manager Backend service terminating each time. May I know did you run the update cmdlets after you installed the updates for SharePoint server 2013? Please confirm it per the link below:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn133867.aspx
    If you haven’t run the updates cmdlets, I suspect this is an install issue. I’d suggest you re-install workflow manager to resolve the issue:
    1) Leave WFM/SB Farm
    2) Uninstall updates and application in the following order and one at a time:
    Service Bus CU1
    Workflow Manager CU1
    Service Bus 1.0
    Workflow Manager 1.0
    Workflow Manager Client 1.0
    Microsoft Windows Fabric
    3) Log into SQL server and delete Service Bus and Workflow Manager databases.
    SBManagementDB
    SBGatewayDB
    SBMessageContainer01
    WFManagementDB
    WFInstanceManagementDB
    WFResourceManagementDB
    4) Install in the following order one at a time through Web Platforms Installer:

  • Error In IR at the time of activating data types

    I am getting an error at teh time of activating the data type
    Namespace urn:rfctoftpserver:am is not defined in the software component version SAP_ECC_DABUR_POS , 9.5 of sap.com.
    How ever I have saved the name space in Display Software component version!!
    Pls help!

    Hello,
    This problem basically happen due to the following reasons:
    1) when you try to copy the datatype from one Object to other and the namespace is not activated in course of it.
    2) If you have deleted the datatype but it still remains in the Objects list
    Resolution:
    1) Try to change the datatype name and activate
    2) if it still doesn't work have a look at the Software component relation with the datatype namespace relation

  • Error: Could not continue scan with nolock due to data movement, DBCC proccache will clear the probelm

    SQL Server: 2008 R2 SP2
    Before describing my problem, I have gone via the forum, there is no view or functions inside my stored procedure
    When running a particular stored procedure inside crystal report, the error " Could not continue scan with nolock due to data movement" comes once every few weeks. After I clear the query cache plan, it works again for few weeks and the problem
    comes again. During these few weeks, there is no restart or query plan clearing.
    If I run the stored procedure inside SSMS, where the SQL statement is copied and pasted from SQL profiler during crystal report run, there is no error.
    I discovered running in SSMS and crystal report generate 2 different query plans even I copied the SQL from SQL profiler, I have actually saved the query plans. Unfortunately, this forum does not accept attachments, or otherwise I will post my query plans
    here.
    There is one thing I notice about the query plan is during nested loop operation, there is a warning "no join predicate". I don't use any views or UDF in the statement, nor did I use pre-1992 ANSI join syntax. However, I did use table variables.
    My guess is whether this will cause " Could not continue scan with nolock due to data movement", after I clear the cache, I run crystal report again, and I look at the plan again, the "nested loop no join predicate" warning is gone.
    Running this stored procedure took 1 second maximum, even when this error is popping up, it pop up within 1 second.
    DBCC checkdb has been run
    The same stored procedure running by crystal report in a SQL 2008 (non r2) live environment has no problems, so I am thinking this is R2 specific problems.
    The "nested loop no join predicate" error SQL statment is below, no views, no udf, but table variables
    INSERT @ChequeAccount
    SELECT        PS.PaySummaryID, PS.EmployeeID, PS.CostCentreID,
                (PS.GrossPay    + PS.LumpSumA + PS.LumpSumB    + PS.LumpSumD+ PS.LumpSumE+ PS.ETP+ PS.PaymentsAfterTax    - PS.DeductionsAfterTax
     - PS.Tax- PS.ETPTax    + PS.TaxRebate) * -1 AS Amount,
                CGLM.GLAccountID
    FROM Pay_Summary PS JOIN Input_Sheet ISH ON PS.InputSheetID = ISH.InputSheetID  AND  ISH.PayrollID = @binPayrollID
    AND PS.PaySummaryID NOT IN (SELECT PaySummaryID FROM @ChequeAccount)
    JOIN Payroll P ON P.PayrollID = ISH.PayrollID AND P.EmployerID = @binEmployerID
    JOIN CustomGLFixMapping CGLM ON CGLM.EmployerID = P.EmployerID AND CustomGLFixMappingNameID = 1 AND CGLM.CostCentreID IS NULL

    The error Could not continue scan with nolock due to data movement can occur when you use the NOLOCK table hint, or use the command SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL READ UNCOMMITTED. That is, so-called dirty reads. The error is not related to the
    query plan per se, but when scanning a table, the storage engine will use an IAM scan rather than following the clustered index. If there is simultaneous activity, the storage engine may detect this and abort the operation to avoid returning incorrect data.
    Or it may not detect it, and return uncommitted data or fail to return committed data.
    All of these effects are transitory and they will not show up when you are alone on the system, only when there is concurrent activity in one or more of the tables in the query.
    Using dirty reads is a risky business for the reasons explained above, and it takes careful analysis to understand whether you can live with the errors you can get from a particular query. The error about data movement can be handled: trap the error and
    resubmit the query. But what about spurious incorrect results?
    If you believe locking to be a problem, you should consider setting the database to READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT
    and take out all use of READ UNCOMMITTED/NOLOCK. When the database is in READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT, readers read from the snapshot and only see committed data without blocking writers. This has some other effects like requiring a bigger tempdb,
    and there is a risk for other types of concurrency errors, but they tend to be smaller risks.
    I discovered running in SSMS and crystal report generate 2 different query plans even I copied the SQL from SQL profiler,
    This is because SSMS by default runs with SET ARITHABORT ON. I discuss this in more detail in this article on my web site:
    http://www.sommarskog.se/query-plan-mysteries.html
    However, as I said, this problem is not related to the query plan as such, although some query plans are more susceptible to this error than others. (All plans are suscpeitble to produce incorrect results).

  • How to set the Data types of the Excel sheet while exporting details to it.

    Hi All,
    We are trying to export some order details to the excel sheet from a jsp. It is working fine when the local system language is set to English.
    But when i change it to Russian. the details like Line Numbers(e.g: 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and so on... ) are getting changed into some other data type(e.g: 01.янв, 02.янв, 03.янв and so on....).
    i guess this is mainly due to some data type mismatch, so i tried setting all the possible charset for response in the jsp, but could not succeeded.
    This is only for the details which or of decimal format, working fine for the details which are in String type. like Description, Item name etc...
    As it is high preference issue for our client, Please help me in this regard ASAP.

  • Issue with creating array of custom data type - WebLogic Integration

    Hi,
    We are doing WebLogic integration with Siebel for which from Siebel side we have generated java wrapper class which has all the methods, input\outputs defined and in\out params are serialized along with get\set methods. Following are the details of the input\output args.
    Account_EMRIO.java
    public class Account_EMRIO implements Serializable, Cloneable, SiebelHierarchy {
    protected String fIntObjectFormat = null;
    protected String fMessageType = "Integration Object";
    protected String fMessageId = null;
    protected String fIntObjectName = "Account_EMR";
    protected String fOutputIntObjectName = "Account_EMR";
    protected ArrayList <AccountIC> fintObjInst = null;
    Above class also includes constructors\overloaded constructor\getters\setters
    public AccountIC getfintObjInst() {
    if(fintObjInst != null) {
    return (AccountIC)fintObjInst.clone();
    }else{
    return null;
    public void setfintObjInst(AccountIC val) {
    if(val != null) {
    if(fintObjInst == null) {
    fintObjInst = new ArrayList<AccountIC>();
    fintObjInst.add(val);
    For the nested user defined data type AccountIC, it is defined in another java class as below
    AccountIC.java
    public class AccountIC implements Serializable, Cloneable, SiebelHierarchy {
    protected String fname = null;
    protected String fParent_Account_Id= null;
    protected String fPrimary_Organization = null;
    With the above, I was able to get all the AccountIC in the wsdl correctly and using this I was able to set the input param in the client
    WSDL:
    <xs:complexType name="accountEMRIO">
    <xs:sequence>
    <xs:element name="fIntObjectFormat" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fIntObjectName" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fMessageId" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fMessageType" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fOutputIntObjectName" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fintObjInst" type="tns:accountIC" minOccurs="0"/>
    </xs:sequence>
    <xs:complexType name="accountIC">
    <xs:sequence>
    <xs:element name="fName" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fParent_Account_Id" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fPrimary_Organization" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    minOccurs="0"/>
    </xs:sequence>
    </xs:complexType>
    Now, I wanted to make slight difference in getter method of class Account_EMRIO method getfintObjInst so that an array of AccountIC is retured as output.
    public ArrayList<AccountIC> getfintObjInst() {
    if(fintObjInst != null) {
    return (ArrayList<AccountIC>)fintObjInst.clone();
    }else{
    return null;
    With the above change, once the wsdl is generated, I am no longer getting fintObjInst field for AccountIC due to which I am unable to get the array list of accountIC
    WSDL:
    <xs:complexType name="accountEMRIO">
    <xs:sequence>
    <xs:element name="fIntObjectFormat" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fIntObjectName" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fMessageId" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fMessageType" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    <xs:element name="fOutputIntObjectName" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
    </xs:sequence>
    </xs:complexType>
    The issue that I am facing here is, we have a custom data type(AccountIC) which has several fields in it. In the output I need a array of AccountIC. In the java bean, when this type was defined as
    protected ArrayList <AccountIC> fintObjInst = null; I was unable to get a array of AccountIC. this gets complicated as inside a AccountIC there is array of contacts as well and all the time I am getting just the first records and not a array.
    To summarize: How to get xsd:list or maxoccurs property for a field in WSDL for the user defined\custom datatype?
    Can someone help me with this.
    Thanks,
    Sudha.

    can someone help with this??

  • JDBC insert with XMLTYPE data type

    Hi,
    SOAP to JDBC scenario. Oracle 11G as a receiver.
    Requirement is to  insert whole xml payload message in one of Oracle table fields as a xml string. Target oracle DB table column is defined with XMLTYPE data type, it has capacity to hold xml data more than 4GB. I am using graphical mapping with direct INSERT statement.
    When I try to insert xml payload with smaller size transaction goes through. However when the xml payload size increases it is giving following error in JDBC receiver communication channel monitoring.
    Could not execute statement for table/stored proc. "TABLE_NAME" (structure "StructName") due to java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01704: string literal too long
    Here is insert statement as in communication channel monitoring. (Note: XML payload with bold characters is truncated)
    INSERT INTO  TABLE_NAME (REQ_ID, OUTAGE_OBJ, TIMESTAMP, PROCESSED_FLAG) VALUES (VAL1, <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>............</>, TO_DATE(2010-11-15 10:21:52,YYYY-MM-DD HH24:MI:SS), N)
    Any suggestions to handle this requirement?
    Thank you in advance.
    Anand More.

    Hi Anand,
    The problem here is definitely the length of the SQL query. i.e "INSERT INTO ......... VALUES......."
    This is what i got when i searched for this ORACLE error code:
    ORA-01704: string literal too long
    Cause: The string literal is longer than 4000 characters.
    Action: Use a string literal of at most 4000 characters. Longer values may only be entered using bind variables.
    Please ask a ORACLE DB expert on how to handle this Also i am not sure how can we handle Bind Varibales in SAP PI.
    I hope this helps.
    Regards, Gaurav.

  • Problem when summery the data type of interval day to second

    hi
    i write a program calculate periods of time and summary it then i used interval day to second data type
    oracle support basic 4 math operation (+,-,*,/) on interval
    but although oracle does not support summary function like sum() ,avg(),count()!! this is a problem here
    the walkaround it by use oracle data cartdrage advanced future like follows steps :

    at last i used the function to summary intervals and its work so good but when the result of calculated summary value exceed the default precision of interval : INTERVAL DAY(2) TO SECOND(6)
    i get an error :

    Cause: The leading precision of the interval is too small to store the specified

    due i can't determine the precision of data type when i define function in PL/SQL it is illegal*
    HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM AND BE ABLE TO SUMMARY INTERVAL DATA TYPE WHAT EVER THE RESULT OF SUMMARY IS HUGE

    hi,
    Instead of 'interval day to second' in method declaration use internal datatype 'DSINTERVAL_UNCONSTRAINED'.
    There are more unconstrained types in oracle.

  • The data type of the variant is not compatible with the data type wired to the type input.

    Hello all..
    Iam curently struggling with the following:
    On my main(top)_VI, I have a mix-signal graph which will output several or one signals depending on the user. I also have an inner subvi which has the analisys i want to give the the data before outputing it to the main(top) VI, which has the mix-signal graph control.
    Now, I created a reference from the mix-signal graph and Iam imputing this reference into the subVI (which inside has a property node type_control_mix-signal graph in which Iam connecting the refnum from the top VI to view the output data). The data consists of an array of clusters of 2 arrays of doubles each.
    -- let say I create the property node type control mix-signal graph and i choose value property; it lets me put the array of clusters of 2 arrays of doubles each without problems; Now the second I connect the refnum pointing to the mix-signal graph on the Main_VI it brakes the cables and only accepts one cluster of two arrays os doubles instead.
    --if on the other hand I connect the refnum to the property node type_control_mix-signal graph before connecting the imput it doesnt complain until I run the VI where it gives the error 91.
    I have also notices a (strict) parenthisis at the end of the property node sometimes. [what does this (strict) means?]
    FInally if instead of creating the refnum from the Main_VI, I create either a xy graph or a mix-signal praph it lets me connect the an array of clusters of 2 arrays of doubles each without any problem. The refnum connection seems to be the problematic factor, but  by the same tolken I dont know any other means of sending that data from the inner to the outter VI.
    I have the feeling Iam missing on one or more Labview fundamentals regarding refnums.
    Any help will be apreciated

    You almost found it on your own. The refnum needs to be 'strict', that means that the data type of the graph is set (2D dbl), otherwise it will use the default data type. To do this you create the refnum directly from the graph after you have wired the correct data type to the terminal. In this case the refnum wire will break if you change the data type of the graph.
    Independend of this issue, I suggest you not to use the value property on the graph but directly wire the data (e.g. the 2D double) to the SubVI. The property value is by far the slowest way to get data, and 2D arrays are really some amount of data.

  • Data type to be used

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement where i have to fetch mutiple rows of a table and then concatenate the data of a particular field of all the rows and put it into a single variable.
    I have no restrictions on the no of rows to be fetched due to which i cannot plan of the size of that single variable.
    Can anyone suggest me some data type which can take variable lengths at run time. also the size limit can go beyond 255.
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    Chandna

    Hello Chandna,
    You can go with the following workaround;
    DATA:
      w_var1 TYPE string,
      w_var2 TYPE string.
    LOOP AT t_table INTO fs_table.
      CONCATENATE w_var1 fs_table-field1 INTO w_var2.
    ENDLOOP.
    Now, every time loop is run, current value is attached to previous value and at the end, you'll get concatenated values in w_var2.
    You can very well use w_var2.
    Hope, it helps you.
    Thanks: Zahack
