Testing connector - Action Failed error

Hi experts
I have created a connector but when I try to test it, I get "Action failed error". I have done everything according to Page 104 from "Configuration Guide - SAP GRC Access Control 5.3". This is what is mentioned

In my current CUP configuration, I have made the USER_DATA_SOURCE as the UME DATASOURCE. I tried LDAP and R3 datasource too, the user id is system admin and it has the necessary authorization. I checked the period and colon punctuations too.
Any idea why it says "Action failed" when I am trying to test the connector?

Can you please go to CC debugger and get values of table VIRSA_CC_SYSTEMC
and paste
Also please try to login with user id (if comm type, then test it in SM59... )
please confirm is VIRSANH is installed in Backend R/3 system.

1. I have Tests project.
2. I am trying to compile it on linux server and creating Tests.swf file and then executing Tests.swf using ant on 64 bit linux server using standalone flash debug player.

I get a "Short DST" failed error when running test. Laptop will not boot up. Any ideas?

Certainly, the error code will be a Smart or Disk Self Test failure - in either case, it would indicate that the Hard Drive is failing and needs to be replaced. This is also consistent with the start-up issue.

The Ubuntu operating system CD you create can run from the CD alone ( ie it doesn't have to install on the Hard Drive ) and I've often found it to be successful in retrieving data even from a failing Hard Drive. When you've created the CD, follow the instructions and see if you can back up your existing files.

Using tcm to load test scripts into mtm, but action fails.

Hi,
I am trying to load test scripts into mtm but action fails saying : "The work item cannot be saved because at least one field contains a value that is not allowed."
My guess is that this issue is due to the parameters/attributes we give to a test case([testmethod], [description()], etc.). I am unable to find what all parameters/attributes that can be given to a test case.
Please help me with this issue.

Test Connector error; Single Sign On configuration

I did a test on my SAP BI query system created in the portal. When I perform the "Test Connector with Connector" results are as follows;

2. Check the connection to the backend application using the connector defined in this system object

Connection failed. Make sure that Single Sign-On is configured correctly
So my SSO is not configured correctly. Does anyone know where in the portal I can check my SSO configuration and what to look for?

Hi Everyone we are facing following issue in GRC-SAC-SAE 5.3_16.3. So far our CUP was connected to Enterprize portal (7.01) and auto provisioning for group to users worked. However now it is not working with below error.

We used to get those "malformed request" errors. We dealt with them by requesting the portal to be re-booted during the weekend maintenance window, making the portal security changes manually, cancelling the CUP request and notifying the requester. It's not a great solution, I know, but it was all we could come up with at the time. Then they upgraded the portal to NW 7.31, which is incompatible with GRC 5.3, and we have to do everything manually, so our situation went from bad to worse. Good luck!

i am also facing the same problem but i have one solution for this .... that opp err
comes in 3 cases ....
data output will be very large
unable to insert data in template---->template design is wrong.....(in caseif xml is generated for that).
the third case is that the data defination file is perfectly fine but when it have to insert data in template its not getting the path where the template is put.
its all due to xml environment settings.
Tell your DBA to verify the issue...send him the log and opp log.
I expect that you will get what exactly the issues is.

MQ:OSB Assign action failed updating variable "ServiceRequest"

We have a problem with the MQ adapters in Oracle Service Bus.
If we (by accident/break testing) put messages on the queue that are invalid XML (such as "Banana" as plain text), the OSB goes into an infinte loop with this message, as it can never be dequeued due to:

OSB replace action failed..

very urgent help needed.
Scenario:
1. My proxy service (new wsdl based) calls business (legacy wsdl based).
2. I want to transform input format from new format schema to legacy format schema.
3. I write a Xquery and Replace ./* in variable body with Xquery. Binding variable is accepted as $body.
4. Individually tested, works like a charm; but when proxy is exected-throws following error:

here myURL is namespace defined for input format "SwapnilRequest".
In short, the content of variable "body" are not changed even after transformation.

it is not clear at which point you are invoking Hello_to_GoodBye, and using which argument
anyway it's likely that you are passing an Xml element (a node, something like <hello>Charlie</hello>) instead of a simple type (a string, like "Charlie")
you should use the function data($body/bla) or text ($body/bla/text() ) to extract the value (Charlie) of your element
