Testing Services in SOAPUI

Hello,
I want to test webservices in SOAP UI. The services are provided in an abap backend, and will be consumed in a 3rd party system. The communication is via an integration server. I created . In WS navigator the service can be tested succesfully. In SOAPUI the WSDL URL is providing me the interface description - but when I try to execute it, I get an error saying "error getting response; java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect". In SOAPUI the tool tip of the WSDL URL says "no endpoint set for request". Is it an autheification problem? Does anybody have a suggestion?

The URL looks similar, but there are differences...:
https:// <piHostname> :50001/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?senderParty=&senderService= <Business Component> &receiverParty=&receiverService=&interface= <Interface_out> &interfaceNamespace= <namespace>
Apart from <piHostname>, <Business Component>, <interface_out> and <namespace> this is the original URL. Something missing?

OSB: Issue while testing OSB proxy service using SOAPUI

I am trying to test an OSB proxy service using SOAPUI.
The below are the steps i have followed in SOAPUI:
1. File->New SOAPUI project
2. Opens the dialog to create REST service
3. Given service endpoint as: http://<osb servername>:<port>
4. Opens dialog to create a REST resource
5. Resource Path/EndPoint is the OSB proxy service end point.
6. HTTP method = POST
The proxy service accepts 'text' input so i have given Media Type as 'text/plain'
But, when i give the request message and run the request. The request is not running. I am not seeing the processing symbol at the bottom right of the SOAP UI request. Whereas i am able to run other services.
Kindly help me resolve this issue.

your problem:
Missing class: oracle.tip.adapter.jms.JmsManagedConnectionFactory
Dependent class: oracle.tip.adapter.fw.wsdl.WSDLUtils

It happens when server is custom installed, try to reinstall it as full version and problem should disappear otherwise your need another full installation to retrieve and replace orabpel.jar file from (or maybe more)

Correct idea to scale out testing environment and test service pack2 installation

I have a sharepoint 2010 farm it has one sharepoint server, one database server
In one server below services are running
Central administration service
SharePoint Server Search
User Profile Service
Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application
so i want to scale out this form to
1 application server
1 web front end server
1 Search server (index server)
1 databse server
here how i scale out to this form
1)here how i move sharepoint server search service to new index server and
2) here how i move Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application to new webfront end server
and in this single server some web appllications are running also how i move these to new wf server
i want to do like this because i want to test service pack 2 installation, now sharepoint version is : service pack1
my actual production environment has
2 application servers
2 webfront end servers
2 index servers
1 databae server
so this correct idea to scale out testing environment and test service pack2 installation

The link below describes how to scale SharePoint Web Front-End with only web applications and the search query server out of one SharePoint server with all roles running.

Now you have two SharePoint server with:
Tier 1 – SharePoint Server dedicated as a Web Front-End (WFE) with only the web application(s) and the search query service running on it
Tier 2 – SharePoint Server dedicated as an Application Server with all of the other service applications running on it, but no web applications or query service
Tier 3 – SQL Server for the databases
Then you would scale out WFE server with web applications from tier1. Now please install a new SharePoint server and join it to the existing farm and deploy it as Web Front Server. Enable the relevant services on Web Front servers per the topology picture
below, and stop the services running on the old server.

Error while testing Service enabled Application module-ADF11g

Hi All,
I am facing an error while testing Service enabled Application module.I have followed the documentation avaialble in this link

All the supporting jar files are included in the calling application, but still I am getting class not found exception.
Error is as follows…

Any pointers for the same is highly appreciated.

I am trying to call a web service from soapUI 4.0.0 to Oracle Web logic server 10.3 in which primavera p6 war file is deployed..
getting an error::*this class does not support saaj 1.3*
setting the following system property in the Weblogic startup script:

Error when calling BizTalk ESB WCF service using SOAPUI tool

I have an itinerary and when I call the ESB.ItineraryServices.Response.WCF service passing the message from .Net code I am able to successfully able to get a response. However when I use SOAPUI I am getting the error HTTP/1.1

The xml you are sending is invalid it does not have SoapBody Opening tag.

Adapter_plain and engine error during test service

Am not able to test the adapter_plain service under default_host->sap->xi. When i do a Test Service i get an Action Cancelled page with the url http://iscsapapp4w:8010/sap/xi/adapter_plain?sap-client=100
I checked the Pipeline URL parameters in SLD for my Integration Server BS, httpport setting in eXhangeProfile and specific confirmations IS_URL parameter in sxmb_adm.
And i get the following error when i Test default_host->sap->xi->engine
Pipeline ID which is expected as value of attribute "type" in the URL, does not exist in the Integration Engine (URL = /sap/xi/engine?sap-client=100)

I have an "Untitled" test service that no longer exists in Library/Services/ but still loads in the context menu and finder services menu. How do I get rid of it?

I created an "Untitled" test service, then deleted it. It no longer exists in Library/Services/ but still loads in the context menu and finder services menu. Reboots do not change the behavior. How do I get rid of it?

... and mysteriously, it's gone again. Multiple reboots across the day between then and now, plus a few hibernations as I moved about. It's as if Finder cached the [deleted!] workflow file and continued to operate off of the cache for an indeterminate time....

BBPSTART giving ERROR URL in Test Services in SE80

Iam getting following error , I have all checked all basic settings
ICM is running,FQDN is maintained, site INTERNAL is active, Services SYSTEM,SHUFFLER,WEBGUI published.
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http:/e.g Error URL// call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system 000 with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?

Yes,we have activated the BBPSTART also in SICF, still we are getting following error when i activate TEST SERVICES for BBPSTART.
The URL http://et2app49.esc.win.xxxxxx.com:8049/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/bbpstart was not called due to an error.
Note
The following error text was processed in the system ET2 : Error message occurred.
The error occurred on the application server pq09a000_ET2_49 and in the work process 0 .
The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
The ABAP call stack was:
SYSTEM-EXIT of program SAPMSYST

Cannot download WSDL from http://blrkec142276d.ad.infosys.com:8000/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/RS_BCT_XA_X_GET_ROLES?sap-client=001&wsdl=1.1: It is not allowed to access this service. If you believe you should be able to, please contact your system administrator

Serialization error occurs when you are passing some invalid values.
Example: characters is a numeric field.

In SICF transaction, after activating the /default_host/sap/bc/srt/IDoc service and when we give test service it shows "500 Internel Server Error."

Hello Preetha,
although it is an old post:
if you start transaction ST11 and look for the youngest file dev_icf<nr> you may find messages in it telling you about nodes which still are deactivated but have to be active for a successful test of your desired service.

If you have EhP1, I believe the service SODIS_CORE_WBO was replaced by CTS_BROWSER.
Please also refer to SAP Note 1145268 for more details.

ITSMobile00 test service keep asking to logon

Hi,
We are on ECC 6.0 With Basis SP 13. I published ITSMOBILE and ITSGENMOBILE in SE80
to INTERNAL. In SICF, when I perform a test service on itsmobile00, it gives me a logon screen,
I enter the data but it does not move from there. It keeps asking me the user id/password.
The login details are correct and the user is not locked. Any suggestions

When tried testing from the SICF, the url shown is http://yhsapdev05:8000/sap/xi/engine?sap-client=100, but I understand that this should be changed to http://yhsapdev05:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry.
How to change this configuration?
