Hi All
While configuring Homepage framework I came across one issue at "paycheck inquiry service / Salary Statement " service in the areapage of Benefits and Payments. i am not able to see the service descritin below it , though its present in the SRPO configuration in the respective Service.
i found one field called Proxy class in the service which was having "CL_PAYSLIP_PROXY_SERVICE" . When i removed this configuration , service description started displaying on the area page for Salary Statement.
Kindly let me know for this unusual behaviour and the resolution for it .

Hi Rahul,
The text for the Salary Statement Service comes from the Proxy Class CL_PAYSLIP_PROXY_SERVICE. This program calls checks if the business add-in XSS_REM_INTERFACE is implemented. If it is implemented then it takes the description from the Business Add-In. Hence when you delete this proxy class it is taking the description from the service.
You can check the Proxy Class in SE80 TC.

Someone can help with this issue. We are not able to get the payslip. In R3, we use a form created with PE51 and we have a variant for this. I already updated feature EDTIN with the variant name and HRFOR with $CEDT$ for C ESS.

InfoPath combined with Excel Rest services gives State service error

I'm having a problem with InfoPath and Excel Services. I have a InfoPath form that calls Excel to do a fairly simple calculation, but I also have another form at a client that is doing the same calling a much more complicated function.

MOSS StateService threw an exception: A Microsoft SharePoint Server State Service error occurred while processing your request. For more information, contact your server farm administrator.
I have determined that if the user is in the Members group, then it works, but as soon as the user is in another group, it gives the error. I have played around with permission levels, given the user all rights, but it still gives that error.
Does anyone have any idea about what might be the problem? I have thought that it's a problem on the state service, but it isn't configurable. I don't want to resort to put everyone into the Members group, as that doesn't seem to be a solution that will
work with everyone. We are on the June 2012 CU.

Thanks Sergio. I tried that but unfortunately didn't fix the problem. I have given the groups Contribute rights, Full Control rights, create my own custom permission level, nothing works except when the user is in the Members post.
I realised today that the error I posted above is a bit misleading. The error that happens first before that one is this (after removing timestamps and correlations):

The error I first posed is I think the reaction to this exception. The strange thing is that the user can access the spreadsheet fine. When I go to the URL that is used for the rest service and just remove the $format parameter, it displays it fine as a HTML
value.

Hi Brian!
Please, check if you are use the correctly parameter at clausule PAYROLL_RESULT.
This parameter can change from country to country. In your case, i suggest you use the default structure to international payroll: PAY99_RESULT.
You can check the country group configuration used inside your configuration to Payroll (molga field).

State service error when submitting InfoPath form to Library

I have a problem and looks like Google couldn't help me.. I really hope someone here will be able to.
I have a Form Library using a custom form. When submitting the form to the library, users are getting this error. I don't get the error with my own user, only difference is I have full access to the farm and content using web app policy.

I deleted the State Service and recreated it twice, once with PowerShell and then with the Farm Configuration wizard. Restarted the server. Problem might come from InfoPath Forms Services tho but I don't what else I can do.
Does anyone have any clue??

We had the same problem with InfoPath.
After analysis of servers,it turns out that
the anonymous user authentication has been enabled on
the web application server
via IIS and not via SharePoint
(unsupported configuration), causing
side-effects on some queries which
calls to forms.
We disabled anonymous access.This desactivation
causes the functioning of forms again.

Hi Sumit,
have a look in transaction ST22 in the backend - you may be able to get more info about why the FM failed.
I'd suggest it is probably a data error of some kind - but the short dump should give you some more details.

Prevent User printing the salary statement - or use pin/tan controls

Hi everybody,
we've implemented the BP ESS 1.0 for ERP 6.0. The Salary Statement Services works fine. Now we are looking for a possibility to assure that only the user itself gets to know the salary statement if the PDF is transmitted to the network printer.
Does anyone has an idea - supress the print button of the Adobe Reader or use a PIN / TAN control at the printer/ copier?

Good luck on that! You are never going to be able to completely insure against stupidity. If someone leaves their salary statement on a printer, prints and forgets, whatever, how will you solve that with a technology solution? For every solution you come up with, there will be a workaround. For example, you won't to suppress/disable the "print" function? Fine...If it were me,I would just "print screen", paste it to paint, and print from there.....see? What about folks that don't print or you supress but they leave their monitor up as they step out for lunch/meeting? What then? You can really only do all you can possibly handle anything up to and including "your side". There is some security you can put into the form....digital signature, password protect, etc....the real problem you will have/find is making sure the file is not cached anywhere....not on the backend server, not on the printer and not on the user's own machine. Again, that's even more "fun" to figure out.

I'm looking to rename the Paycheck Inquiry Service - i.e. display a different page/iview name in the toolbar are. Can anyone advise how?
It looks as though the object name on the Page is what's displayed - is there a way to change this? It's read only also after copying the object.

Paycheck Inquiry Service "Show Overview"

I am amending some of the standard portal content to remove some unecessary steps etc.
I was wondering whether there was a simple way to maximise the overview link in the paycheck inquiry iview by default? ie so that the user immediately sees the overview rather than first having to click on a link.

State Service database is full

in my Sharepoint 2010, State Service Database is almost 49GB and it's not cleaning itself. So user get problems when it full.
Any idea why is getting that big? Anyone knows how to clean it?

Text fetching from purchase order of type service po (Domestic)

hi ,
i have modified standard po medruck.
the Header text and Item text are getting displayed.
But for service Po (Domestic) type , header text and item texts from ME23n transaction are not getting displayed.
could you please help me....
i observed that text element 'SUPPL_TEXT' which is in main window of script is responsible for fetching the text.

Vendor available (in your eg. X) in the output type messages screen for PO does not have any impact on accounting processes of main vendor (in your eg Y).

Service PO with service text - Account determination

When we create Service PO without Service Master, Material Master (Only with service text), how the account determination will happen.
Is there any other way to get the account determination?

Hi All,
Am looking for subroutine program its display the text at line item as it's service order, I want to view the text in sapscript in the tcode ME9F of the order text.
Ex:- in tcode ME23N, select PO & item details in Account Assignment tab, ORDER field is not displaying for some of the orders, but while debugging I can see the ORDER values.
Can'nt see the ORDER field in print preview, Pls let me know.

Hi,
If you are retrieving the values in the print program, the values will definetly get populated to the sap script. In case of subroutines in the form, the values you pass it to the structure ITCSY should be characters only.
