Text color for hyperlinks

hey all,
i imported a document from wordwith no hyperlinks, opting to put them in the doc while Indesign,  anything that is to be hyperlinked or cross-referenced was placed in indesign using  colored letters as oppose to the normal black.  the letters are  appearing as i want them  in Indesign, but when i export the doc, my hyperlinks and cross references have "hyperlink" blue lettering.  i've tried re-highlighting the hyperlink letters by selecting a color from the pallet and applying it that way, but it is not working....any thoughts or direction would be appreciated.
regards

i think you are correct.  i exported the doc as a pdf and the color is fine.
when i export as an epub,  one reader turns the links electric blue, and another won't ever recognize the links so all text is black,.. ah this slippery slope of electronic publishing...fun yes but often a royal pain, and i'm not talkng about the tv show when i say that.  the upside is that a as person new to Indesign, i got my document loaded, linked and edited  and ready for export in surprisingly short order and it looks amazingly good at that...
thanks for your assistance.. i appreciate you taking the time out to answer my questions!
regards.

  • ALV Weddynpro : Text color for a row(for a particular record)

    Hello Friends,
    Situation : Webdynpro App utilizing re-usable ALV component to Edit(changed/modify) Employee records.
                     I have used to the class cl_salv_wd_uie_a_input to make certain columns read_only and colored(cell background only).
    My requirement :
    Suppose there are 4  rows and based on  if a certain condition is staisfied(lets say 2 rows), then i have to  changed the color ONLY THE TEXT(to RED). There is certain meaning for the rows for such records which users can easily interpret.
    I have tried to used CL_SALV_WD_UIE_TEXT_VIEW(which i have successfully color coded the texts),  but i lose the editing capabilities.
    The webdynpro App uses a EDITABLE-ALV meaning that, user can  insert/modify/delete records and save them in the DB.
    Is there anyway to have both this features using above said situations and consequences?
    OR
    Pls share any workaround if anyone has tried this before?

    Hi,
    We can assign semantic colors only to text view fields. So in this case since you are forcibly changing the  view to text view, for text coloring, we are losing the edit fields capabilities. Instead setting the type of field( text view / input view ) based on the your condition could be best, so that editing capabilities is also not missed and text coloring is also not missed.
    Or you can set all fields to input fields and set the read only/edit property based on the condition and set the cell design of the fields accordingly, so that the users can distinguish easily.

    Changing your SIP domain will effect both Lync 2010 and 2013 (it happens at the top level).
    Here is some information on doing this: http://blog.insidelync.com/2013/06/anatomy-of-a-sip-domain-change/
    I'd suggest getting it right prior to adding in your Lync 2013 topology, just for the sake of simplicity.
    Rather than changing your SIP domain, is simply adding an additional SIP domain an option?

  • How  to change the Color for hyperlinks Xcode

    I ned help for that, i am a new and om woking to build apps

    Hi,
    you can use an AttributeSet to apply the foreground color. Let's say, doc is a HTMLDocument, then SimpleAttributeSet set = new SimpleAttributeSet();
    doc.getStyleSheet().addCSSAttribute(set, CSS.Attribute.COLOR, "#0D0D0D"); would apply a color to a given AttributeSet. The AttributeSet with your color then can be applied to a selected range of text in a JEditorPane by   /**
       * set the attributes for a given editor. If a range of
       * text is selected, the attributes are applied to the selection.
       * If nothing is selected, the input attributes of the given
       * editor are set thus applying the given attributes to future
       * inputs.
       * @param editor  the editor pane to apply the attributes to
       * @param a  the set of attributes to apply
      public void applyAttributes(JEditorPane editor, AttributeSet a) {
        ((HTMLDocument) editor.getDocument()).getStyleSheet().addCSSAttribute(set, CSS.Attribute.COLOR, "#0D0D0D");
        editor.requestFocus();
        int start = editor.getSelectionStart();
        int end = editor.getSelectionEnd();
        if(end != start) {
          doc.setCharacterAttributes(start, end - start, a, false);
        else {
          MutableAttributeSet inputAttributes =
            ((SHTMLEditorKit) editor.getEditorKit()).getInputAttributes();
          inputAttributes.addAttributes(a);
      } Ulrich

  • Where do I specify text COLOR for PcP auto-inserted titles

    I'm running PcP on 10.5 and want to change the COLOR of the title text that PcP auto-inserts into my video when I run a submit for approval workflow. Anyone know where the color is defined?

    No 10.5 system at hand anymore to check but I am pretty sure the color is defined directly inside the quartz composition that is used by the command in the workflow to compose the title.

  • Changing hyperlink text color...

    I see how to change hyperlink text colors for a page (normal, rollover, visited, active) but I am hoping for something more complicated- I would like a link to change color on rollover, but stay that color until another link is clicked, then return to its original color. ( I have a swap image applied to five links on a page, clicking on each word displays a different image.) Is there any code I can add that will get a link to remain a rollover color until something else is selected? Thanks in advance!

    CSS menus are much leaner and more efficient than image rollovers.

  • Side menu text color

    Hello Muse folks... new at this and I'm working with the template i purchased Muse Templates - Wide | Adobe Muse Template | ThemeForest. If you go to the live veiw and scroll down there will be a menu that appears on the left side. I was able to change the icons in the muse program but i do not see where I can change the text color for hover and click, etc. I also want to change the logo image above but I'm not sure where that's located either. This is my first time to use the program so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you... smiles!

    Hi Mark,
    You need to go under, "file -> site properties -> content" to change the hyperlink styling. Check the screen shot below.
    And for the logo above check the master page that is applied to the home page and see if you able to locate it there.

  • Scrolling Row Text Color in JScrollPane

    Hi,
    I've implemented a JTable that overrides the prepareRenderer method so that if certain criteria are met, the text of the associated row are set to a certain color.
              // Create JTable and override prepareRenderer method
              centertable = new JTable(sorter)
                   public Component prepareRenderer(TableCellRenderer renderer, int row, int column)
                        //System.out.println("Row: " + row + " Column: " + column + " Value: " + colorpanel[row][column]);
                        Component c = super.prepareRenderer(renderer, row, column);
                        if(selectedcolorpanel[row][column] == 1)
                             c.setBackground(Color.ORANGE);
                        else
                             c.setBackground(Color.BLACK);
                        // Do Text Coloring for uptick / downtick?
                        // Uptick
                        if(selectedcolorpanel[row][column] == 2)
                             c.setForeground(Color.GREEN);
                        // Downtick
                        if(selectedcolorpanel[row][column] == 3)
                             c.setForeground(Color.RED);
                        // Same
                        if(selectedcolorpanel[row][column] == 4)
                             c.setForeground(Color.WHITE);
                        // Keyboard  and mouse highlights implementation
                        if(isCellSelected(row, column))
                             c.setBackground(Color.ORANGE);
                             selectedcolorpanel[row][column] = 1;
                        return c;
              };I embed the table in a scrollpane and set an integer to the limit of rows that I want to display in the table. If I get a row above the row limit of the table, I first remove a row from the table model, then add the new row. However, the color is not preserved, as the table scrolls UP, but the colorpanel does not. Does anyone have any suggestions, or easy way to preserve coloring in a JTable on scroll?
    Thanks,

  • Can I set Mail default text color

    Is there a way to set default text color for sent messages?  These settings don't seem to have any effect:

    Only way I know how is to save a Draft with some character, even a space with color set & use that to Draft send.
    Or maybe set a Favorite in CMD+t in Mail.

  • Possible to change review text color and wording

    I've searched high and wide to try changing the text color for the review mode field "CORRECT ANSWERS" that shows on a fill in the blank/ short answer question. Ideally I'd like white text (it's set at black) and I'd like to have it say "Correct answer(s)" or even somethinge else. I don't like the all caps that's used either.
    I've looked at the Object Style Manager but I don't see this particular field available/editable. Has anyone found where in the c:\Program Files\Adobe... files this setting is controlled - a .dll, .xml, .txt? I don't mind changing it to white there if I have to.

    Hi, thanks. Cap 7. I whipped up that course from scratch, no particular theme applied. Also to answer your question, I looked at the master slide and that particular review mode field isn't present, just the initial objects like the text input field.It's frustrating how everything but the CORRECT ANSWERS label is editable via the Object Style Manager. Why they forgot to include it is beyond me. I'm left at using "Hack a Cap" methodology by looking at all the .dll, txt. xml files hoping to fix it there because as far as I know you can't just turn the CORRECT ANSWERS field off even if you wanted to. Unfortunately almost all of our screenshots in our courses will have a royal blue background.

  • Setting the text color

    Hi
    Does anybody know the syntax for changing the text color for workspace customization ?
    like for backgorund color ,we have color = "background-color:IndianRed"
    Ritu

    Hi Ritu,
    If you're trying to change the color inside of the bpmworkspace.css (the default CSS for the Workspace) to Indian Red you could do this:
    .bpmWorkspaceHeaderUser {
         background-color:#cd5c5c;
         width:100%;
         text-align:right;
    . . .If you're trying to change the background or foreground color of a label or field on a BPM Object presentation, you could do this:
    // set the first label on a presentation to Red
    setForegroundColor this
       using componentId = "label0",
          color = Fuego.Ui.Color.INDIAN_RED.rgb()
    // set the first text field's background color to Red
    setBackgroundColor this
       using componentId = "text0",
          color = Fuego.Ui.Color.INDIAN_RED.rgb()This logic would be run from inside a BPM Object's method to dynamically change colors on a Presenation. This would set the first label's ("label0") foreground and the first text field's ("text0") background color to Indian Red. You'd normally have the method invoked either as an initialization method for the presentation (click the outer edge of a presentation -> click the "Properties" tab -> change the method invoked when the presentation initializes by changing the "Initialization method" property) or as the method invoked by a field's "On change invoke" property.
    Note that "label0" and "text0" are the names of the label and text fields on a specific BPM Object's presentation and not the name of an attribute inside the BPM Object. To uncover their specific names, open the BPM Object presentation -> click the label or field -> open the "Properties" tab on the right -> look at the value inside the "Name" field.
    You can see the other colors available if from the Project Navigator tab if you expand the "Catalog" -> expand "Fuego" -> expand "Ui". The upper case attributes listed are enumerations. The string's needed for the "setForegroundColor" and "setBackgroundColor" methods are returned using the catalog's Fuego.Ui "rgb()" method.
    Hope this helps,
    Dan

  • DropDownList prompt text color over

    How do you set the prompt text color for a DropDownList in the over state.
    The DropDownListButtonSkin has an over state so I can set anything to do with the button in this skin.
    However, the prompt does not belong to the button but to the DropDownList itself. The DropDownList skin does not have an over state.
    I am trying to create a UI where the prompt color and style changes as the user mouses over the DDL but I can't see how to do this.

    Hi,
    Did you ever manage to solve this? I'm having exactly the same problem
    Many thanks in advance

  • Changing hyperlink text colors.

    I saw few posts asking about changing hyperlink text colors. And there are many camps regarding this topic. Suzanne Boben would recommend editing template XML . Some would recommend editing published HTML code. Some would recommend editing CSS code.
    But it came down to couple things.
    1) proficient in XML, HTML or CSS
    2) tried different colors, but it did turned out as expected
    One easy way is editing CSS files, this only apply to pages' hyperlink text; if your text got turn to PNGs, read no further .
    iWeb generates a CSS file for the associated HTML page - CSS file is in the Page_files folder.
    Edit the CSS files and keep copies of them, then you won't have to edit them again the next time you publish you sites.
    These CSS files are quite easy to understand, all you have to do is to look for a { , a:visited { and a:hover { .
    They contain RGB (Red Green Blue) values for link color, visited link color and rollover color.
    But what about those #8000FF and #4c4c4c?
    Well, I know they are RGB hexadecimal color values, but I don't what colors they are, so I came up with Argiope (Argiope is a family colorful spiders).
    It's a colors picker application to help with choosing background color, link color and rollover color. It'll give you the exact RGB hexadecimal value of chosen color.
    You can find Argiope here. Enjoy

    It can be done, but I have to do too much works.
    I already have a a script to do that, but it's quite complicated for an average bear.
    http://www.geocities.com/[email protected]/iWeb_utils --> LinksColors.zip
    Does just that, it is flexible, you can configure the colors for individual page, but it is quite different to configure. Look at the colors.txt and page.txt.
