Text messaging cant send..

why does my Nokia 5230 cant send text messages, it always stored in my outbox & it always says 'resend at 9:00'. despite i have check all the message settings & my balances with my network provider. can u pls help me? tnx!

check if you have the correct message center number (which you can find out with your network provider)...if it is correct, try to insert a different sim card to see if it will work...

Hey,
A few weeks ago i bought some skype credit to text my girlfriend in Peru, from the UK (england). For the first week or so it worked fine, she would recieve the message very quickly, and the price was very reasonable. No problems.
But, suddenly it changed: i will send a message to the same number, which is correct, and the message will attempt to send, but it will fail, with the advice to check number coming up. I am at a loss; the number is correct, we used it for a week with no problems, she is recieveing texts from people (granted, in Peru) ok, and i can call her using my home phone. What is going on?
Possibly a related problem is that my mobile cannot text her either using normal credit. Anyone got any ideas?

I don't believe there is anything that we can do for this particular issue, customer is more looking for clarification to take back to Skype. But he is unable to receive Skype SMS messages, can receive standard SMS without any issue.
Skype has claimed that they are receiving the delivery confirmation message that the message has been received but nothing is being received to the mobile. I have confirmed with customer that other people that have been sent a Skype SMS are unable to receive the messages also, so is likely an issue with the Skype service.
Would you have any further feedback?
Example SMS - Sent via Skype on Monday 6pm.

There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage. There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

Check your profile settings and goto menu-> tools-> settings-> general-> pesonalisation-> home screen-> mode settings-> home screen applications-> e-mail 1 and 2.
Check for duplicates to show names and install "Conversation" from Nokia Beta Labs.

You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.
Unless you've iPhone 4S (looks similar to iPhone 4)

Upgrading my Iphone 4 I am not able to access my text messages or send texts.

Since the last 9 days after upgrading my Iphone 4 I am not able to access my text messages or send texts. I have attempted to delete the "68" messages however, once deleted for a period 2-3 seconds. The deleted messages reappears! I have reset. restored. did back-ups! Nothing has altered this problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Please help? Thanks :-)

Connect the phone directly to the computer, not a hub.
Disconnect all other USB devices except keyboard and mouse.
Disable your firewall
Disable your antivirus
In iTunes if it recognizes the phone click "Restore"
If it doesn't recognize the phone:
Disconnect the phone from the phone end, leave the USB cable plugged into the computer
Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until the screen turns black, excactly 10 seconds, then release the SLEEP but continue holding the HOME (If an Apple logo appears you have held SLEEP too long; do it over)
While holding HOME connect the cable to the phone
As soon as iTunes recognizes the phone release the HOME button and it should restore.
If neither procedure works note the exact error message and post it.

This happens when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for pruchasing from the iTunes & App stores, but you should be using a different ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID (so you are both using a different ID for iMessage); or
On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". Also uncheck anyone else's phone number, if present.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

I can get texts but cant send them

I am not able to send text messages to anyone! I can recieve them..but it is pending on the ones I send..and then deletes them.
A thing will pop up and say " Storage Almost Full" you can click "Done" or "Settings" when I go to Settings and Usuage..it says it has 3.6GB available and only 2.7 used.

you have to type below the grey line under subject. The send wont show till something is typed below the line.

Help re text messages and sending photos

Is there any way to forward a receieved text message, and is it possible to send a taken picture to another mobile phone?

It is currently not possible to forward text messages from the iPhone, but as soon as iPhone firmware 3.0 comes out in the summer you will be able to do that.
As far as sending pictures goes, you cannot send a picture via the MMS service, you have to send pictures via email. If you want to send pictures to other people's phones, you have to do the following:
Verizon:
[email protected] (the x's are the 10 digit phone number)
These are the ones I have so far, but I have not tested them all:

Boost Mobile- @myboostmobile.com
Sprint- @messaging.sprintpcs.com

Now even though you currently can't send pic messages with the MMS service, Apple's iPhone firmware 3.0 will support MMS, so you won't have to email pictures once it comes out.

Save Text messages without Sending?

H i, another question I haven't seen answered. Since Kins don't have a note app, I thought maybe I could start a text message and then not actually send it - then I could save a note (like a grocery list, etc.)
is is possible? Or did anyone find another workaround? just want to maybe jot down a book title that I hear about, for instance, or other means of writing and saving myself a note on the phone.

I don't have a text plan - that's why i was asking about saving a draft. It seems like you can save a draft email, but do you need have a wifi connection to do so? If I can save a draft email anytime, that would probably work. (I don't have a Kin yet - I'm thinking of getting one)

Droid X, review lengthy text message before sending?

When composing a long text message I find it very difficult to review the entire message before sending it. Is there a way to do this that is not obvious? I have tried scrolling line by line and I end up changing words unintentionally. Holding your finger over the text pops out a magnifying glass, but even that is not very useful.

Unfortunately there is not an option within the device to change to make viewing your text messages any easier. You will have to scroll through the message.

The Verizon iPhone 4 was updated to ios 5. Have not been receiving nor can i send text messages.

Let's fixt this! I suggest removing and re-adding the application. You can do this by navigating to Settings from your phone>Application Manager>Verizon Messages>Remove and re-install from the Google Play Store. Please test and share. Thank you.
