If you're not sure where some of the content you see in iTunes is stored, iTunes will also show you what it knows about your media in the Get Info window.
Select an item in iTunes and choose File > Get Info.
You can right-click on the 'Where' to get the option to Show in Finder (Mac OS X) or Show in Windows Explorer (Windows).

I REALLY need help W/ my New Ip 4. Music Note Link, takes me right to the store, and keeps telling me, all my music has been downloaded, but I can't find it anywhere.... HELP!!!

I upgraded my Original Iphone to an Iphone 4, and am having issues syncing my Music,
It asked me, if I wanted to set up my phone as a NEW Iphone, or use the last sync. I figured, using the last sync would simply move everything over. NOT, so much. I am using Windows, Not Mac.
I uploaded the LATEST version of Itunes. And on occasion if I click the Music link button, and tap a bunch of things,.. It will take me to a page that says,.. Iphone or Shared Library. The only way I can get my music to show up, is via, tapping Shared Owner's Library. But it takes a zillion taps to get there, and 50% of the time doesn't show up at all. It says- repeatedly, Either, "You have no songs," etc. or when I tap, "Not on this device" it says, "all of your music has been downloaded to this device..." But HOW do I get to it?
On my OLD phone, all I had to do was tap the Music Note,... and my library showed up... That's all I want...
I put my music in the cloud, etc,.. I just thought that was a COPY. Am I needing some kind of CLOUD app on my phone? Or Can someone walk me thru this... I'd be eternally grateful. I'm ready to throw this thing out the window! HELLLPPP! PLEASE!!!

The reason, I included the annotation that I'd upgraded my Itunes, (On my Computer) is B/C in many forums - the very first question, *HELPERS* ask, is. "Do you have the latest version of Itunes downloaded on your computer." I wanted to knock out any obvious replies.
Now- "DO YOU have any idea,"... how your UNHELPFUL remarks, do absolutely nothing but hurt others that might not have the EXPERIENCE you have? How do you expect people to know things without asking questions? Whew! RUDE!!

I have a 3GS, it crashed today and I have attempted 2 restores, both times itunes says it has been successful, but my phone has failed to restart. Help?

My phone is officially unlocked by my previous service provider, and has been working fine, until today. It just crashed/froze, then switched itself off, then to a black screen with the apple logo
It remained this way for about 10 minutes before the timer circle icon appeared, then it switched off and then the apple icon reappeared... it repeated this cycle until I found out how to restore.
According to itunes I have successfully restored, but the phone is still doing same cycle when it's switched 'on'. Itunes told me when the phone restarts the phone would show in the icon bar, which it did, but the phone never restarted to a home screen. What am I doing wrong? Is there any hope? Or has the phone gone forever?

Solved my issue by setting up a new account on my daughter's computer. Not 100% solved, but i was able to get the update on my 3GS.

Adobe has changed my password but still when I try to download the update it goes to the old "hint." for the password I don't rememember. Got the email from Adobe REader that my password has been changed but it doessn't seem to work.

An installed version of Adobe Reader does not require a password.
Sometimes, some computer Operating Systems are configured such that to install an application or to install an update to an application an "admin" has to sign in.
That, of course, involves a password.
But that has nothing to do with Adobe Reader download, installer or Reader use.
It is completely a thing of the OS configuration.

Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?

If the store in your country does allow it, try to download the song again, see this support article:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise report a problem with your purchase. Sign into the iTunes Store and view your purchase history in your account section. Beside the recently bought song should be a link "Report a problem".

I have removed iTunes as I had previously unintentionally removed a part of the program that gave my laptop sound! I am now trying to reinstall, I downloaded and ran the program twice now and each time it says that iTunes has been installed but I can not find it anywhere, no desktop icon and not listed on the program list in the start menu or in control panel> add or remove programs. please help!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you're going to have to put the iPad in to recovery mode before you can restore it. The article linked below provides more details about the passcode lock and will walk you through putting the process of restoring from recovery mode.

Use recovery mode
Follow these steps if you never synced your device with iTunes, if you don't have Find My iPhone set up, or if you can't get to your own computer. You'll need to put your device in recovery mode, which will erase the device and its passcode. Then you'll restore your device as new or from a backup.
Disconnect all cables from your device.
Turn off your device.
Press and hold the Home button. While holding the Home button, connect your device to iTunes. If your device doesn't turn on automatically, turn it on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode.
Click OK, then restore the device.

How come ITunes says I purchased a song, but I can't find it in any library

As in purchased it 4 minutes ago, or 4 years ago? The new versions of iTunes are always very reliable at having songs show up in the main library display window when an item is added. Does your song appear in Recently Added? Have you checked your media folders to see if the song is actually on your computer but it is just iTunes that is having conniptions?

This happened to me as well. I use an iMac as my main machine, but have a laptop that my daughter uses. I use my Apple ID on both computers. I would occasionally see on my iMac that I have updates available and would click update and get the No Update Available response, yet the red badge remains displaying that I have an update. Found that a few people had this happening as well via these forums so I checked on the laptop and it updated. I then noticed the red badge on the iMac had disappeared as well. If you have any other computers that share your Apple ID, I'd run update on those to see if it fixes your issue.
