    1. iPhone 4 , 32 GB Black with Sr. No. 88******A4T
    2. iPad 2, 16GB White with Sr. No.DL*******KPH
    Moreover, we have no information to contact whom. even the replace set has a warranty of only three month which further confirm that Apple itself is not confident wheather product will last after replacement for more then three month. Such kind of happening do not encourage anyone to recomend this product to anyone. Would appriciate a faster response to our problem if someone from Apple is going to read this email.

  • Should I pay the $245 for support? I ask because every time I have they could not fix the problem, I found the problem on my own.

    I ask because every time I did call they could not fix the problem, as in I could not send mail, I was told it was my Internet, then they tell me it is my computer. After spending many many hours on the phone with Apple, I was told I had to reload my hard drive. Which by the way takes a lot more then a few hours. The next day I found I still had the same problem. I could not send mail... I found the problem my self// I didn't have a mail box set up to send mail. How sample that was. Then the next time if I wanted to empty trash I had to turn off the computer then reset to do so. When I called tech support she tells me that is normal and they had to do the same thing every time. Well she is wrong in that if you use "empty securely" and not the one that just says empty trash then you do not have to reset or turn off your computer.... So I ask what am I paying $245.00 for?  I am sure I will need support at some time, and at least it does give me someone to talk to.

    FYI - there has not been a name brand consumer personal computer actually manufactered in the USA in years.  Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, Apple, Samsung,... - you name it they are ALL made in China or Tiawan. Often many of those brands are being assembled by the same Chinese company in the exact same factory, pulling parts (hard drives, displays, RAM, etc) from the exact same bins.  Foxconn for example, which makes iPhones and iPads for Apple, also makes dozens of other makes and models of tablets, ereaders and smart phones for other companies.  Like it or not, but the consumer electronic manufactering center of the world is China.
    The only consumer computers actually made in the USA these days are by local custom build companies, and it has actually been that way for many years now (I think twinhead may have been one of the last with a plant in the USA - they are still around, now GammaTech, and they still do their "final assembly" in the USA but most of thier manufacturing is done in Tiawan and Malaysia).
    By and large, the USA has been out of the actual consumer electronics manufacturing/assembly business for a decade or so now.

    Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
    This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

    If you want Adobe to check it you'll need to contact them (use CHAT) but you could try checking whether you just need to SIGN IN to your apps.

    Is the Wi-Fi button greyed out?  Try this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1559
    Also, make a backup to iTunes of the device.  Then restore it as a new device.  If you still have wi-fi greyed out, then contact Apple again, and explain that you believe you have a hardware issue.  They may still ask for a $19 deposit, but if it is actually hardware related, then you won't be charged the $19.  Only if it is software related do you get charged that $19.

  • Unable to use firefox to axcess bank or pay online, bank tells me the problem is only with firefox.

    I use a norwegian bank called Sr-bank (www.sparebank1.no).
    The error i recived trying to pay told me to contact the bank and give them the error code "BID-2031" if the problem persisted, so i did.
    I recived an e-mail from the bank saying that this was a Mozilla firefox problem and suggested that i switched to internet explorer or chrome. They also sent me a link on theyr bank page, which "explained" the problem. Directly translated it said:
    "You use the Mozilla Firefox browser
    Our experience is that the BID 2031 occurs for those who use Mozilla Firefox browser. We recommend you to try using a different browser such as Google Chrome, until further notice."
    I wan't to keep using firefox, and i know that if i start using other browsers to axcess bank, it woun't be long before i don't bother using firefox at all. Please tell me you have a solution to this problem?

    the main page is not the problem, it is the login/security check...
    Anyway, my other bank (a local bank) dosn't seem to have any problem with firefox, so if the problem persist, I will probably switch permanentlly to the other bank.

    However many people contact Apple support for there is nothing that either they or you can do.
    Apple stores online do NOT provide international shipping, end of story.
    If you want an unlocked iPhone 5, you will either have to wait until they are available nearer to you or you need to physically travel to the UK and purchase an unlocked iPhone 5 there.  Rememeber though about warranty issues - not international so it means you'll have to physically return to the UK if anything goes wrong with the phone.
    If you have a friend travelling to the UK, then they could purchase one for you and then you could put a local Saudi nano sim card in the phone when they become available over there.
    Other than that, just be patient and wait until they become available.

  • Confusing battery trouble after water spill.  Not quite sure what the problem is but would rather not have to pay for diagnosis.

    Hello there!
    So a few weeks ago now I made a schoolboy error and spilt a small amount of water over my 2009 macbook pro while it was closed.  It wouldn't wake up when I opened it so I decided to try and open it up, although it took me forever to find a screwdriver small enough to get the back off.  When I finally managed to take a look, there was a small amount of moisture on the battery.  I left it to dry for a day or so, although probably not as long as I should have done and then when I tried to boot it up again it worked!
    However!
    Since its been working again, the battery has permenantly said that it's 'not charging' although often it does seem to charge in spite of this.  I had thought / hoped that this might be fixable simply by replacing the battery, but I dont want to spend a load of money on a battery, should there be more to the problem than this.  Also I have noticed that the battery says 'replace soon', rather than 'replace now' which makes me wonder if the problem could in fact be something do with the logic board instead. 
    Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could do next?  Of course I would like to be able to fix it and have a normal working battery again, but failing that, some insight as to where the problem might lie would be extremely helpful.

    That depends on your MacBook Pro variant, which we don't yet know (don't know your OSX version either). Different variants and screen sizes have different battery specs. If you need to find out your model before replying, you can enter your serial number in this Apple web page:
    Check Service & Support Coverage
    And it will translate to a model. If that doesn't work (I'm having to give options here because I don;t know your OS version):
    1) For Mac OSX 10.7 "Lion" and later, do "About this Mac" and, in the resulting window, press the "More Info..." button to get this:
    The red arrow I added indicates your model and screen size.
    2) For Mac OS 10.4 through 10.6, do the same except the "More Info..." button will bring up this screen:
    Again my red arrow poiints to pertinent data. Please post that code BUT not any serial numbers. With these OS versions you need to provide the screen size separately, either 13, 15 or 17 inch.
    Once you've gone to this trouble it is a very good idea to add it to your equipment line in your forum profile so helpers don't ahve to go through this again for future questions. See my equip line below for an example of enough info to get fast help.

  • I gave my macbook pro 13' to this guy to fix it and he is taking more than 3 weeks to repair it, I just wanna know if its appropriate to take so long to fix the problem that he claims

    So I sent my macbook pro to a nearby macbook repair person because it was too slow, everytime I click on something, the rainbow wheel will appear and it will take like a few minutes to open up a window. Also, my videos were stucked whenever I played them in VLC etc but when I use my external hard disk to play the video, it will be okay. So I sent to this guy explaining all the problems I am facing with my macbook, then he claimed that he could do it within a day as its probably just the hard disk problem or if its the processor(2days). And now its been 3 weeks and he is still fixing my macbook, he told me it was the bios and he needs sometime to do it as he needs to be very careful. I dont know if I should believe him, its been more than 3 weeks now? I just wanted to know if what he is saying is logic and if it is, does it really take so long to fix the bios?
    p/s I've increased the RAM to 8gb 1600Mhz Ddr3 recently thinking that was the problem but obviously it didnt fix my problem Help me out

    Mac's do not have a BIOS to flash. Get your Mac back before this situation gets worse. Then take it to an Apple Store. You will have to pay.

    You fitted the wrong Ram, you will need to change it for the right Ram when you get it back.
