The program no longer sends attachments

The program no longer sends the attached files.
When I push the send button it downloads the files and freezes up. When I review "sent files" it doesn't show as being sent, but when I view recent files, I see the files.

What happens if you upload them to cloud.acrobat.com, and then Send them from there (rather than Sending from your computer)?
Are you trying to Send from within Reader, from a browser (https://cloud.acrobat.com/send), or from Outlook?

Mail can no longer send attachments

Mail recently lost the ability to send attachments. If I drag an image, PDF, etc. in to the composer, it shows up as an icon with a filename below it, but clicking on the link results in a dialog that says "The file xxx could not be opened because it is empty". Attachments used to just show up inline and send properly. I'm not sure when this behavior started, but I can't seem to get attachments to work any more. Even if I right-click on a JPG and share via email, the attachment created is empty. What's going on?

Update... I tried all of the recommended solutions for resetting user permissions and ACLs, none of which solved the problem. I finally relented to re-installing the Mountain Lion upgrade and that fixed whatever was keeping Mail from adding attachments. One notable change is that when I was having the problem adding attachments, I would see warnings in the console from sandboxd complaining that Mail was missing file_read_xattr and file_read_data for the files I was trying to attach. Now that attachments work again, I don't see those messages. Perhaps something was hosed with Mails runtime configuration with sandboxd?

TS2755 I am trying to find a message from 2012 and when I load previous messages it only goes back so far then the program quits and sends me to the home ( main) screen. How can I find the message and get around this?

How can I set the program to automaticaly send recieved email addresses to my address book?

As the question asks, how can I set the program to automatically add new email address from messages to my address book. Other email programs can be set up to do this. If this can't be done in Firefox, why not. It's the best email program otherwise.

First off Firefox is an Internet browser and does not deal with email addresses or have an address book to add them to. Secondly I cannot think of a good reason to add the address of each piece of spam to the Thunderbird address book.
There are addons that will pick out addresses from incoming email and add them to the Thunderbird address book. I suggest you search through the add on list for one that fits your needs.

HT1338 I recently bought Civilization 4, which worked well with Lion, but after updating to Mountain Lion, the program no longer functions. The graphic display is scrambled. Any suggestions.

I purchased civilization 4 from the app store. It worked well until I upgraded to Mountain Lion. Now when it loads, the display is scrambled and unresponsive.

removed parralles and logmein, still no audio devices available.
but...after booting into safe mode and restarting, audio returned. however it only returns until rebooted again. then no audio devices.

Cannot send attachments with mail

All of a sudden I cannot longer send attachments using the Mail app in OS 10.8.4
Any attachment, any file, any type, using the iCloud server or my internet provider, Mediacom.

This may seem a bit basic, but it has worked for me in the recent past - have you quit Mail, relaunched it and tried again? Or, if that doesn't help, try again after restarting the Mac.

When I downloaded a recent iTunes update, I received a message saying it was successfully downloaded but the program fails to launch

I recently updated my iTunes which was previously operating very well. After I successfully downloaded and installed the update, the program no longer opens either from the desktop or the task bar. I am using Windows 7. I set the pop-up blocker to always allow pop-ups from Apple and the compatability shows compatable with Windows 7. Any Suggestions for how I can get back in business?

Are you downloading iTunes form an Apple website or somewhere else? If the answer is somewhere else, try downloading it from Apple. Click on iTunes in the black menu bar above and go from there.

Calendar no longer sends data to iphone since I got a new PC with Outlook 2010

My iphone 4 used to happily sync with my old PC (Windows XP) but I've got a new PC with Outlook 2010 and the calendar no longer sends data from the PC to the iphone.
I've used the Help questions here and created a new event on my phone which has now created a new calendar on the PC, so I have 2 calendars now, one with all events in and one only with events which are also on my phone.
No new events added to my calendar are ending up on my phone.
How do I:
a: get rid of the new calendar which has opened (it is called "Outlook Data File", the existing one, which I want to keep, is called "Personal Folders)
b: get the calendar to send info to my phone and back?

Exec calls do not appear to be returning to the program

After our NT server was rebooted, all of the sudden the Java program I maintain failed to work properly. The program creates a thread and within that thread multiple exec calls are made. It appears that the program is hanging in the portion of the code that is handling the InputStream and ErrorStream of the processes created by exec():

This chunk of code accepts an array of files that need to be processed simultaneously. The code should exit once all of the child processes have exited.
After the reboot of NT, this code just hangs. I look at the log of the child processes (the child process is a vendor program) and it appears to successfully exit. Running the child processes from the command line or from a DOS batch script doesn't cause anything to hang.
To debug this, I placed the code chunk:

below the condition for: if (size == -1). Magically, the program no longer hung. Subsequent debugging points to the program hanging in the portion of the code that reads the Input and Error streams from the process.
Since I'm a C/Perl programmer, I'm not quite understanding why I even need to deal with the child processes output when I don't even care what's in it. And I'm completely baffled as to why this program would hang at all... especially when this problem has only cropped up since the server was rebooted. I believe it has something to do with the child processes putting out different length output streams and perhaps tweaking with the read buffer size would help, but that really doesn't explain the underlying problem.
Does anyone have a clue what may be going on given my explaination of the problem?

Burst program doesn't send mail

Hi,
we are using a burst concurrent program which will send output to user as an attachment in the mail. Now the problem is, if the output data is huge(say >10MB),the program doesn't send the mail. But the program gets complete normal.
we are using excel as a output format.
Is there a way to get huge data in a mail?

Sorry, but I just have to ask the question: why would you want to send over 10MB of data as a report result to a user? That's a humungous amount of data...and basically has nothing to do with BI anymore. That's just dumping data into someones inbox.

Mail (5.3) OS X 10.7.5 mail program crashing when opening an email with attachment. Any suggestions out there? I can open the mail program...send and receive emails...click on emails without attachments with no problem.

I am having a problem successfully opening an email containing attachment. I can open the mail program...send and receive emails...and view emails that do not contain attachments. But whenever I click on an email containing an attachment, I get the spinning beach ball for a few seconds and then the entire program closes. Any suggestions before I make a one hour trip to the Apple store for help?

I don't think an interactive portion of a PDF is an obscure problem (lots of designers I know use rollable PDF files for emailing 3D models) and while I understand that it's in a legacy program, there is no guarantee if I purchase Acrobat X, that the same problem won't exist. It's no an issue in Reader 10 but then again, it wasn't an issue in Reader 9 either. Since Adobe doesn't give trial versions for Mac (stupid), I have no way of checking this. The problem doesn't annoy me as much as being an Adobe product user who upgraded only to not have functionality and not have a way to have it resolved.

My Mac Mail program no longer stores any files in my Sent folder. When I try to send an e-mail it just spins. What's up?

My Mac Mail program no longer stores any files in my Sent folder. Moreover, the sent folder (off to the left) contains a highlighted "1" as if something is in there.
When I try to send an e-mail message, it simply spins.
This is new behavior for my Laptop of three years. Usually, I have lots of messages in my Sent folder and can easily send e-mail.
I see no discussion forum for "Mail" or for "e-mail" so I raise this question here.
I would appreciate any help anyone might offer.

I can no longer send reports when programs shut down by themselves

When a program closes by itself and the window pops up asking to send a report to Apple... when I click on the send button I can no longer send these error message.

Apple is no longer accepting crash reports from any OS earlier than Snow Leopard.

I am getting text file from application server and i am sending total text file data into my internal table.
I am checking this internal table data especially material number and customer number with data base tables mara and kna1.If the matnr and kunnr are existing in database successfully means then only i am creating the sales orders for that text file data.if any record out of 10 records is not success means i am not creating sales orders for total text file data.
My error log file as

one more text file as
file name,date time,total no of records,succesful records , error records.
I am getting these all data into my one more internal table.
I am appending all data into my internal table.
so i want retrieve only last row of data from that internal table.pls guide me how to get last row from the internal table.
these text files i have to send to my user mail id directly when i am executing the program.
any one knows the any function modules to send that text files to perticular mails.pls send the FM's to me.
