I have the same Publisher Id set in the WMAppManifest file

thank you

Hi kadir u,
>>The publisher in the uploaded package does not match the expected publisher. The expected publisher for this app is: "CN=00000000-8F5B-44B4-BFC6-F16FB18F2358"
Based on the error information, we can see that the publisher value does not have the correct one. So please try to open the Package.appxmanifest, then modify the Publisher as "CN=00000000-8F5B-44B4-BFC6-F16FB18F2358":
<Identity Name="*******"
Publisher="CN=00000000-8F5B-44B4-BFC6-F16FB18F2358"
Version="1.0.0.0" />

  • The publisher in the uploaded package does not match the expected publisher.

I have an existing Windows Phone 8 application in which I wish to release an update to. This update includes new features as well as targets the 8.1 platform. Because of an unknown problem with the original Visual Studio project
where the app stopped being able to be deployed to test devices, it was faster to create a new Visual Studio project and copy over the existing code and assets than try and find the issue in the original project. This lead to the publisher GUIDs being different
between the new and original projects.
Now when I try and submit the updated package within the Windows Phone Online dashboard I get the following error message "The publisher in the uploaded package does not match the expected publisher. The expected publisher
    for this app is: "CN=0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5"".
I have updated both the WMAppManifest and Package.appxmanifest so that they have the following attributes and information:
    Package.appxmanifest (PhonePublisherId="0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5")
    And
    WMAppManifest (PublisherID="{0745C81D-D1ED-49ED-A219-C546B5F31DE5})
I have then recompiled the app and uploaded and attempted to resubmit the update but I still get the error that the Publisher does not match. What have I missed??

This sounds tricky... perhaps you can do a search in the entire app for the GUIDs and replace them.
Also, you could build the appx package, rename the .appx to .zip, and open it up to see if you can find the wrong publisher id anywhere and it might give you a clue to where to make the change.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined

  • The publisher in the uploaded package does not match the expected publisher x2

I spent an hour with a very helpful MS tech support guy today to try and resolve this issue to no avail.  He ensured it wasn't on their end within the Dev Center which means it would lie in the App Studio Beta team's end.
So I have double and tripled checked to ensure my publisher ID matches what the App Info on Dev Center says to what is in the associate app with store says on my app in App Studio.  Anyone else have an idea what could be causing this problem?
I don't want to have to try to re-create my app and then find this same error.

Update:  After having recreated my app and publishing it to the store I then made a few changes and now need to upload my updated PUBLISHED app.
Guess you can guess that upon uploading and submitting the change - I get the error once again.  Very frustrating as you can imagine.  I realize App Studio is in beta but not to even get a response from the team is a bit on the odd side as well.
Come on guys, I am trying to publish apps to the store and want to make WP relevant in the USA but you aren't helping here if your great tools aren't working properly.

  • HT1331 The menu on my airport utility does not match  that which is described in  in this article

I am trying to mount and share a  2TB USB WD drive on an airport extreme. This will be used for time machine backups and large video file storage.
I have successfully (at least the system said it was successful) written and read the graphics files and completed a full time machine backup on the drive.
There was a Time Machine backup on this drive, but Time machine didn't seem to want to use it, so I created another. The one I created is approximately the size of my MAC hard drive data, is called "bfmj9.sparcebundle" and is dated when the full backup completed. There is another folder in the directory called  "backups.backupdb" which comprises many files which look like dates. It was last updated before I started to the backup yesterday.
So I called support and was given some instruction and Apple documents which seemed to have a different menu structure than what my AirPort Extreme shows. In particular, one says to:
Manually mounting hard disks using the AirPort Disk menu bar item
Click the AirPort Disk menu bar icon () and select the Base Station with desired USB hard drive.
Select the desired hard disk(s) (AirPort Disk).
Enter the username and password required to access the AirPort Disk(s).
When I click on the menu item, I do not get the list of hard disks.
Perhaps I have set the disk up incorrectly. The strange part is that both the new time machine backup and my other files are behaving properly.
Thanks for any help you can give.
    Barry

Apple updated the airport utility but have not updated the documentation for some time.. really slack considering it is significantly different.
The new utility is a poor substitute for the original and perhaps by not publishing new manuals they can hide their shame at how much functionality they removed.
It is possible to load a real utility even into mountain lion.. I strongly recommend you do so.
    Download the real utility.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1482
Click to open the DMG so you can see the pkg file.. do not proceed further. It cannot install onto ML.
Download unpkg, install and run it.
    http://www.timdoug.com/unpkg/
Drag the airport utility pkg onto unpkg.. and presto.. it will be unpacked to a new directory on your desktop.. AirPortUtility56 .. now drill down to Applications Utilities. And there is your new shiny tool.. drag it to your existing utilities folder.. or just start from there.
Not hard and unpkg is free.
You cannot remove 6.1 toyland version so just ignore it.. as it richly deserves. Do not attempt to run both.
Just remember when you want the airport utility start the real one. 5.6

  • Ocs package does not match the current software components

    Hi Experts,
In our SAP ERP 6.0 system few components like SAP APPL,EA APPL ,FinBasis were already upgraded to 603 SP04 long time back.
Now to install language,we need to upgrade all the components to EHP3.The pre requisite to upgrade to EHP3 as per note number 1095233 is SP08.Few of our components are at SP06 level and i downloaded the supported packages of all the components to upgrade to SP08 and then upgrade to EHP3.
When i try to display/define the component ECC-DIMp,i get the eror message message" ocs package does not match the current software componentu201D when trying to apply ECC-DIMPu201D .When i looked at the queue, the SPAM is looking for prerequisites of components EA APPL 600 and SAP APPL 600(This components are already upgraded to 603 level).
    Please suggest me the option.
    Thanks

    Hi,
For your problem, please check SAP note 1083533, please check extract from this note:
If you cannot integrate the required component Support Packages because the import conditions are not met (for example, because you have already installed SAP_APPL 603 although SAP_APPL 600 is the prerequisite), you must update the import conditions. When you try to install EHP3 packages using the EHP installer (EHPI), the following error occurs in SPDA_EHP_INCLUSION.LOG: "OCS package SAPKxxx does not match the current software component vector" Ths system displays the same error message when you try to install packages using transaction SAINT. Proceed as described in Note 1118803.
Solution is documented in the SAP note 1118803.
    Thanks

    Hi Guys,
Every time when we login to SAP Business One, we are getting two identical security Alerts, that we needs to click "Yes" twice.
Text of error: “The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site”
We tried to install certificate, but it is not solved this certificate issue and the alert still pops up on login.
I guess, something wrong with dashboard settings, but don't really know what exact and how to fix it.

    Hi Glen,
"The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference." is generally caused by the loaded assembly's version is different than the expected version application refers to.
In this case, it should be caused by:
While starting Report Manager, the backend process ReportingServiceService need to load assemblies it refers to
ReportingServiceService reads the compilation/assemblies element from web.config(under Report Manager virtual patch)
If the compilation/assemblies is not existing, ReportingServiceService loads all assemblies from Bin folder. It can be verified from call stack System.Web.Configuration.CompilationSection.LoadAllAssembliesFromAppDomainBinDirectory(). ReportingServiceService
uses System.Reflection.Assembly.Load with the assemblies' name only to load assemblies.
The Assembly.Load tries to load from the specify assembly by name from GAC at first. If it is found from GAC, it won't be loaded from Bin folder any more.
Since Reporting Service SharePoint Integration mode is installed, a same assembly of 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.SharePoint.ObjectModel' with different version might be installed to the GAC. That causes the error "The located assembly's manifest definition
does not match the assembly reference."
For more information about the error message and the loading process, please see:

  • Exchange 2013 w/Outlook 2013 "The name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site"

I've completed an upgrade from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2013 and I have one last SSL message that I can't get rid of.  I've installed a 3rd party cert that is working great for webmail and cell phone access but for some reason the Outlook 2010/2013
clients get prompted for a security warning.  I just implemented the SSL cert yesterday and I've noticed that new installs of Outlook seem to work just fine.  My Outlook 2013 client doesn't prompt me with the message but I have other users who are
still getting the "The name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site" error.  The domain on the cert error show up as server.mydomain.local.  I've gone through all the virtual directories and pointed
all of my internal and external URL's to https://mail.mydomain.com.   This made one of the two warnings go away but not the second.  I've dug around on google and gone through everything I could find here and as far as I can tell my internal
and external url's are configured properly and I can't figure out where this error is originating from.  Any ideas on where I should look outside of the virtual directories?
I'm including a good link I found that contains all of the virtual directories I updated.  I've checked them through both CLI and GUI and everything looks good.

    Hi,
When the Outlook connect to Exchange 2013/Exchange 2010, the client would connect to Autodiscover service to retrieve Exchange service automatically from server side. This feature is not available in Exchange 2003 Outlook profile.
Generally, when mailbox is moved to Exchange 2013, the Outlook would connect to server to automatically update these information. It needs time to detect and update the changes in server side. I suggest we can do the following setting For autodiscover service:
    Get-ClientAccessServer | Set-ClientAccessServer –AutodiscoverServiceInternalUri https://mail.mydomain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
Please restart IIS service by running IISReset in a Command Prompt window after all configuraions.

  • The name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site error?

I am looking for some help folks. We are in a Outlook 2007/Exchange2010/Windows2008R2 environment.
When users open Outlook off the network, and occasionally on the network, they get the error
The name of the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site error
The CAS hostname is HRECAS.XXX.ORG. The URL that is listed on the SSL certificate (issued by VeriSign) is WEB.XXX.ORG. WEB.XXX.ORG is what users use to get to OWA and such.
When I use testexchangeconnectivity.com, under certificate name validation I see an error that reads:
Host name autodiscover.xxx.org doesn't match any name found on the server certificate CN=web.xxx.org.
Does this mean somehow we have to add autodiscover.xxx.org on the certificate?
I tried to add AutoDiscoverExternalUri using
    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=940726 &
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchange2010/thread/2d0c0f5f-e4ec-4f33-a37d-b94fd7a2319f on the CAS server.
    Set-ClientAccessServer -identity HRECAS -AutodiscoverServiceExternalUri
     https://autodiscover.xxx.org/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml
I get an error that says
"a positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument '-AutoDiscoverExternalUri'.
Can someone point to me what I am doing wrong with the command and whether I should be concerning myself with adding that line? By the way the
InternalUrl information is already configured on the system. Also should I edit the certificate to add autodiscover.xxx.org?
Thank in advance for your support.

    Hi Tapera,
    Thanks for the question.
SRV record is a good idea. You can set the SRV to
https://web.abc.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml but you must make sure the
url can be resolved from External clients.
In addition, there is still a issue. It is hard coded that Outlook will find the autodiscover by the orders below:
    1. Access autodiscover via SCP in AD.
    https://web.abc.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
    2. If SCP access fails, it will try:
    https://abc.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
    3. Then
    https://autodiscover.abc.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml
    4. Local XML file
    5. SRV record
As you can see, Outlook will try SRV record at last. Therefore, it will still try to access
https://autodiscover.abc.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml each time you run Outlook. Then the certificate warning will still persists.
I have a workaround solution. You can do a local policy to disable the autodiscover to access the
    https://autodiscover.abc.ocom/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml by:
    1.
On the Outlook client machine, open regedit and add the following key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Autodiscover
             "ExcludeHttpsAutodiscoverDomain"
             "ExcludeHttpsRootDomain"
    2.
Then set the value to “1” on the above two keys.
    Thanks,
    Simon

  • The cumulative balance displayed in FS10N does not match the sum of the det

    Hello,
The cumulative balance displayed in FS10N does not match the sum of the details.  For example, we have a GL disbursement account that has a ***. Balance of 8 million.  The debit is 2 million and the credit is 10 million. But, when you drill down on the ***. Bal. for the current period, the sum of the details is 9 million.  According to our users, the 2 balances should equal.  I did a search in this forum and found 1 post stating they had the same issue and the answer was to run f.16. Has anyone experienced this and if so, how did you handle it?  I'm not sure how f.16 functions.  Do we have to run it for each consecutive year?  I'm not a FI specialist.  I'm responsible for data archiving and the users think it's related to archiving.  However, we have a test system that was resynced with production prior to when archiving was done and it shows that this issue is pre-existing.
Thank you very much in advance,
    Lourdes

    Hello,
There is a possibility that you have activate line item display for some of the accounts at a later stage. Meaning that earlier postings were not be shown for the earlier postings but only totals will be made available. Therefore, obviously there is bound to be difference between line item report and totals report.
You need to identify which accounts are being changed with line item display at a later stage.
In case if you forget to keep GL Line item display for an account, but the posting are already made the following steps you would required to get the line item display retrospectively.
    1. Note that you are NOT required to make the balance of that GL account to ZERO. Please do not confuse with Open Item Management.
    2. Put the check box line item display for the account in FS00. Make sure you are entering right company code.
    3. Block the account for posting in COA Segment and Company Code Segment in FS00
    4. Go to SA38 and run program RFSEPA01 (Give correct GL Account and Company Code)
    5. Now, remove the block you kept on the GL Account in FS00.
This will reset the line item display retrospectively.
Hope this will solve your problem.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • Outlook Security Alert - "the name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site"

Due to our company changing names, we recently moved to a new domain. All users were at first getting a certificate error when opening Outlook "the name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site." After our network
admin made some changes, nobody receives this error anymore except one user. The URL at the top of the security alert is the old domain, mail.olddomain.com. I checked the users Exchange Proxy Settings in Outlook, everything is showing the URL's of the new
domain so I'm not sure where this is coming from. I'm assuming it has to be something on her local machine since she is the only one who still gets the error.

    Hi,
Please follow all above suggestions to confirm whether the issue happens in OWA. And run Test E-mail AutoConfiguration in Outlook to check whether there is any URL settings using the old domain.
If the issue doesn’t happen in OWA and your URL configurations are all same as others and set correctly, please create a new Outlook profile to have a try.

  • There is a problem with the proxy server's security certificate. The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the target site "Mailserver"

    Good day Guys
First of all I am not an Exchange Expert, and I might be asking a very stupid question, but please bare with me. :)
While I was on leave our Mail server fell over and The company got a Specialist to help out for the time being.
We where\are on Microsoft Exchange 2007 , which Fell over, and the specialist was able to recover as much data as he could.
They then installed Exchange 2013 and tried to migrate everything from 2007 to 2013 and not everything migrated over.
But the problem is, Outlook Anywhere was enable on 2007 and worked a 100% (before the disaster)
With Exchange 2013 I get the following error message when trying to connect With Outlook 2013, using an external connection:
"There is a problem with the proxy server's security certificate. The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the target site "Mailserver"
Outlook is unable to connect to the Proxy server. (Error Code 0)"
Has anyone had the Similar when migrating over from 2007 to 2013 or is this an Issue on IIS and nothing to do with Exchange migration?
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
Firstly, I would suggest we use Exchange 2013 FE as the Outlook Anywhere proxy server.
For the certificate issue, it mostly occurs because the host name that Outlook are trying to access does not match the certificate SAN. Please check with this point. If they do not match, you
can change the host name by referring to the following article:
