The self-installation kit was not delivered!

I had switch my High speed internet to high speed internet enhanced on May 2nd. They said that the modem would be included. They had activated it on May 5th. They also said that the modem would be at my home 1-2 days before the activation. Today is May 6th and I still had no recieved my modem. My high speed internet has been activated but not fully installed since my installation-kit has not arrived yet. Is it usual that the kit takes this long to arrive?

I to have the same problem, kit was meant to arrive today, 5/6/2011, but no kit, had spoken to Verizon on Wednesday and they said kit was to be delivered by UPS on the 6th. Used UPS tracking number and it said on time for delivery on 5/9/2011. Talked to Verizon and all they said was sorry, but you will get it on the 9th, so I am being billed for the high speed (7.1-15Mbps) ,( which shows activated and order complete on my Verizon , yet fastest speed I can get on download is 4-5 Mbps) yet I can't use it

You need to buy PSE13. But you can continue with PSE9 if you download and install the free DNG converter to convert your CR2 files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the DNG files will work with yoir existing software(keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)
Windows download (.exe file) click here DNG Converter 8.8
Mac download (.dmg file) click here DNG Converter 8.8
You can convert a whole folder of raw images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:

    Hi Yasser,
Does the issue only happen to one user with one specific message? Please check if the missing message is located in other mailbox folders such as Deleted Items folder, Junk E-mail folder. Also check the Inbox rules in Outlook.
If the message is still listed in the sender's send items folder, please close Outlook and only use OWA to re-send this message to the problematic recipient. Then check whether this recipient can receive this message in OWA or not.

  • Items are missing in self-installation kit

I ordered high speed internet (faster plan) yesterday. I chose combined modem and wireless router.
Today I just received the self-installation kit and I found out that several items are missing.  The first one is the phone line filter and the second one is the CD.
The package only contains a modem, phone line, cable line, power cord, user guide, and quick uide.  That is it.
I want to know what else is missing in my package?
    Thank You in advance.

    Ok.

Further, I note that it has trouble connecting to the web exchange connector.  I wonder if this is because I used an alias (for easy migration in the future) for which the certificate does not match the name for?  I'm connecting to "mail.testdomain.internal",
although that's actually a NLB group between two CAS/HUB servers.

I'm not really sure where to start investigating at this point.  The only other thing to note is that after installing the portal, I didn't see a new management agent in the synchronization service (I thought one was supposed to appear, though I could
    be mistaken).

I eventually figured this out - it was that the portal management agent hadn't been created yet, I had to create it.

Apologies. I sent you the UPS tracking number via Private Message. The current estimated delivery date is Thursday, August 6. Thanks for your patience.
At the top right of each Forum page you will see a small envelope.
This is the icon for Private Messages, referred to as ‘PM’s’. A Private Message is a way to communicate in private, to another User, Moderator, or Administrator out of public view in the Forums.
The envelope icon will have a number next to it if you have any new messages waiting.
To open a PM to read it, double click on the envelope. If you click on the envelope a window will open with tabs for your Private Message Inbox, Sent Messages, Friends, Ignored Users, and Compose new Message. You can also access this area by clicking on the Username in a Thread or post. By default, Private Messages are enabled. You can disable this feature in My Settings>Preferences> Private Messenger.

  • I can not use CanoScan N670U with my Macbook pro. I download canoscan toolbox 4.1 from Cannon website. It keep saying "the scanner plug-in was not found". Please help

I can not use CanaScan N670U with my Macbook Pro. I download Canoscan toolbox 4.1 from Cannon websit. It still keep saying "The scanner plug-in was not found". Please help

There is a solution (I'm running Snow Leopard on a Core2Duo iMac, but this problem arose when I was running Leopard on a G4 PowerBook too).
    Problem:
You download the OS X driver for the scanner from Canon's site. I already had the CanoScan Toolbox (4.1) stored on an external drive.
You unzip the driver and run the VISE installer. After a search it finds your copy of Photoshop (and maybe even the CanoScan Toolbox), and you click to install on that/those location(s).
You get a couple of error messages, which you click through.
You restart your computer and try to run the scanner but you get an error that the driver is wrong or missing and the process will abort.
    Solution:
BEFORE you restart, and with the installer package still open -
    1. Copy the Into_CFMSupport_Login & Into_CMPrefs folders to
    Applications : Canon Utilities
    Applications : Canoscan Toolbox
and remove the prefix Into_ from each folder
    2. Check whether the installer placed N067U_Library.shlb into the top level (not User level)
    Library : CFMSupport
and if it didn't, move it there yourself
THEN restart, and try again. It worked for me (via Photoshop), but whether it will work for everyone, I don't know.

    Hello Mac Fam,
I recently purchased a HD-Enclosure (Insignia 3.0 desktop hard disk enclosure),since my WD 500Gig Hard Drive broke(power cable broke). Before the Hard Drive broke, it worked perfectly on my Mac Book Pro (Read/Write). I was extremely excited when i purchased the HD Enclosure since i thought that it would work perfectly, like it did before. However, i keep getting the following message ""The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer". I haven't tried anything, since upon reading various post regarding this problem, i get bits of information but never the complete solution.I have many pictures/files/etc. that i refuse to lose. I know this can be fixed, just need a bit of help to get it done. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas to you all, and hopefully someone can help me out.

OK. for anyone who has had or is having this problem, I think I've found a solution, or a least one that worked for me:
Select your start-up drive, do a Get info (Command-I)
At the bottom where it says sharing and permissions, I had two items: System and Everyone. Both were set to Read. I unlocked using administrator password. I then reset the two items above to Read and Write. I then clicked on the little plus sign which brought up a dialog window. In that I selected Administrator and then set that to Read and Write.
My audio CD's now mount as they always have for years! Very odd, and honestly I could not explain why this worked, but I figured it out myself, something that I now feel I owe my self a fine Belgian beer.
    Good luck

  • HT1923 did anyone get the apple application support was not found when trying to instal?

I am having trouble instaling itunes.  has anyone got the apple application support was not found when trying to instal itunes?  it looks like it is not installing all of files to my computer and it can not reach a certain folder

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

    - You install or remove a program that uses the Microsoft Installer Service before you try to install the program on your computer.
    - The Windows Installer Service is not running.
    - The Windows Installer registry settings are corrupted or configured incorrectly.
this is the last step before perform recovery OS, it wont affected the program, but you need to backup data, adjust setting and upgrade to SP1/SP2 again. Please check this 2 document below

  • Audio CDs get "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"

    Hi All,
This a near-duplicate of a message originally posted to the Snow Leopard forums.
A couple months ago I upgraded to 10.6.4 from Leopard and configured a Boot Camp partition running Windows 7. Yesterday I discovered that whenever I put any audio CD, retail or burned, into the Macbook's drive I now get this message - "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer" - with the options to ignore or eject. Disk Utility displays no unusual information, but a check of the system log on Console turned up this:
    Sep 8 11:05:21 Hard-Drive diskarbitrationd17: unable to probe /dev/disk1 (status code 0x00000047).
Has anyone encountered this problem before? I suspect it's related to Boot Camp but not to the initial installation - CD reading worked fine right after the install. Note that this only affects CDs - Burned and retail DVDS read without any trouble.
    Michael
P.S. The CDs tested include one just out of the shrink wrap, so please, no "have you checked your CDs they may be scratched" replies.

Thanks, but no thanks. This is a software/hardware (driver?) issue, not a hardware issue alone. I kept a bootable backup copy of my 10.5.8 installation on an external drive, and a quick restart into that yields a desktop where CDs still load perfectly. I'm looking for power users with specific experience with this particular error and insights into what is causing it in 10.6.4.

  • JPS-01538: The default policy provider was not found

I had this problem with two server and could not find the solution anywhere on the i-net. We have a standard SOA installation for our DEV/Test servers.
The server run out of space and we were not able to start AdminServer after. The error in the log:
JPS-01538: The default policy provider was not found
The issue was that this file was 0 in size:
    $DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig/system-jazn-data.xml
I have analyzed the context of the file and decided that it would be ok to copy it from the working server. I was able to start all servers in the domain after it!
I will still have to verify access for the users.
Hope that this help to people who will run into the same problem.

  • Help! The problem Flash Plugin was not found !

    Help!
I get a message in Dreamweaver
The problem Flash Plugin was not found ! To view Flash content in Live View install the
    Netscape/Firefox Flash Plugin from "adobe.com".
I only use Chrome and Internet Explorer, I haveinstalled Safari and Firefox.
    What to do?

Unfortunately Flash is installed in different ways on different browsers.  I have the whole CS suite, so it might be possible there is no Flash player installer in the basic DW installation.  What you need to do is as DW is telling you and download the Flash Player to install.  IE uses ActiveX to install Flash and Chrome has it's own and Google updates the Flash player with its browser which may not directly correspond to the Adobe updates.
If you go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ in IE click on the "Different Operating System or Browser?" link at the top.  Click on your operating system which I will assume is Windows because the Mac only has one installer and you don't strike me as a Linux or Solaris user.  Then select "Flash Player 10.3 For Windows - Other Browsers".  Run the installer and you will be good to go.
