The server could not be found on the network ORA-12154

Hi All,
I have problem with one application. She run with Oracle DB. I installed Win2008R2 x64 and Oracle DB 32bit on the same server. I tried connect to DB via Oracle SQL Developer and SQL Plus and both run without problem, but when I insert the same parameters into application OpenText Content Server 10, then I see this Error:

[Error: The server could not be found on the network. ----> Error stack ----> 1) E675414020:The server could not be found on the network.:ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified ]
This application need only 3 parameters (System User Name, password and service name). I compare it with ORA files (listener, sqlnet and tnsnames) and I think that all is right. Here are this three files

RIO server could not be found on the specified remote system

When trying to add a cRIO9074 to an empty project, I get the following message:
The RIO server could not be found on the specified remote system. Ensure that NI-RIO software is installed and that the RIO server is running and properly configured.
But when installing software from MAX I cannot find anything called NI-RIO. I am using LabVIEW 2012 + Realtime 2012.
As a result of this, I can't see the modules in the project window. However, I can deploy code to the cRIO that doesn't use any input or output.

I am getting the same message, I am using NI sb-RIO 9611. Using LabVIEW 13, NI RIO 13, RIo Device driver (most recent), Configured the IP of the device from NI MAX, Installed the software in the remote target.

Err 404 The URL could not be found on the server

I attempted to purchase a song and got this error message, error 404 the URL could not be found on the server. Now every time I download any song, it attempts to find the song and gives me the same error message. I don't care if I lose the song. I would just like to make it stop trying to download it.
Any ideas?

I've the same problem, and I've reported for the problem, but I received an non-reply, such as "do you have a good internet connection?", etc...
When I start iTunes, it ask me for my iTunes Store password, then it try to download the missing file I have buyed, but always with the same error message: There was a problem downloading "Fool to Cry / Sucking In the Seventies / The Rolling Stones". The ipod could not be sync because the ipod could not be found on the network

I plugged my ipod touch (4 gen) into my computer to sync and charge and itunes will not sync it any more. I the the error: the ipod could not be sync because the ipod could not be found on the network. It says it backed up on 11/4/13 which was just 5 days ago, but it won't let me back up or restore now at this point. It will charge the battery but that is all. Anyone know how to correct this problem?

Are yo set up to sync via USB vice wifi?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Try another USB port and cable
- Reset all settings

The song could not be found because the original file could not be found!

PLEASE HELP!! When I try to play certain songs (most of them), I get a box that says "The song xxxx could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it? When I tell it to locate, it pops open another window with various options, but never takes me to the song itself. I believe one of you helped me a couple of years ago with the same problem and I seem to recall it was a relatively easy fix. Please help! I miss my music!

I reinstalled my computer because it was too slow, and Safary icon has a ? question mark on it in the dock, i pulled it out with the hope that i can bring it back from the application, but the icon could not be found in the application. Pls help me.

I think that your Mac detects your hard disk, but the problem is that your new hard disk doesn't contain any operating system, so your Mac doesn't find any bootable partition and you see a question mark.
If your Mac came with DVDs, insert the Mac OS X Install DVD and hold the C key while your Mac is starting. Then, just install Mac OS X. If the hard disk isn't prepared to install Mac OS X, you will have to erase it using "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". See > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU1.html

Whenever I try to wirelessly sync my iPod touch I get this message, and then the iPod "disappears" from the itunes sidebar, and will not reappear unless i log out of my session and log back in. When I try to sync again, the same thing happens.
I just got Lion yesterday as well as a brand new touch, and iOS 5 is installed. "Sync with this iPod over wi-fi" has been enabled.
What am I doing wrong? It connects fine and syncs with the cable, but wirelessly it does not want to work. They are both using the same wireless connection.

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first.

I too have the same problem, and I see that nobody has found a working fix yet. How dissapointing. I would have thought that Apple would have tried to fix this by now. Who knows how many others are in the same boat?
I am unable to sync my iPad at all. This means that I can't make a backup and so can't clean and restore it. I can't add any music. I can't get my photos off the iPad either. And so on! My brand new iPad is incapable of doing anything usefull! Don't fret Apple, I WILL tell all my friends what my opinion of your devices are.
In my opinion this is a CRITICAL FAILURE FROM APPLE!
I believe that it's undeniable that this is a stupid uniformative error message that leads me nowhere. Of course the connection went away. BUT WHY? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO RESOLVE THE PROBLEM IF YOUR ERROR MESSAGE DOESN'T GIVE ME ANY USEFULL INFORMATION????
AND WHY CAN'T I CAUSE IT TO SKIP OVER THE BACKUP STEP SO AT LEAST THE DEVICE HAS SOME FUNCTIONALITY?
There are no published fixes that work. The only thing close, was a recommendation to reset the iPad and try again. This didn't do anything but waste more of my time.
Hopefully, my Rant will cause someone to take a stab at coming up with a resolution. I JUST NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET MY IPAD WORKING AGAIN.
Is that too much to ask?

How to resolve "The specified Server could not be found" issue

I reinstalled my Mac OS X. (Format and and install)
Installation was successful but i can't connect to the world(Internet.)
Whenever i start Internet explorer it will prompt me "The specified Server could not be found"
MY current Settings:
Configure: Built-in Ethernet
TCP/IP: Configure Using DHCP, the reset setting are blank.
I'm using Cable modem (Starhub - Singapore Internet Services provider) and connect to a router & from router i used LAN cable connect G4 Ethernet port.
Any1 can give me a hand to resolve this issue, please.

If you get the message that the server could not be found you should wait for a few minutes until the diagnostics launches automatically with the FIVE yellow, green or red balls to indicate ISP, Ethernet & other status reports...

Flash Builder 4.5 the import could not be found

I just upgraded from Flash Builder 4 to 4.5 and have imported one of my FB 4 projects. I am now seeing an orange question mark in the gutter next to all of my import statements that are importing local classes (as well as everywhere the said class methods are used) and an orange underline appears under the import statement. When I hover over the underline it says that the import could not be found.
The class files do in fact exist and the project compiles and runs without a problem (I use ANT to build this project).
If I open one of the class files in question then change something (i.e press space bar) and hit save then go back to the file importing it the orange question mark is gone for that import, I get the code assist and CTL+Click links me to the class file. However, if I close that file and reopen it again cannot find the class file.
The classes in question are stored under my project's src dir as:
- src
+---com
      +---myappname
          +---services
          +---utils
          etc...
and my import statements look like:
import com.myappname.utils.*;
import com.myappname.services.remoteService;
Any ideas? Is this a FB 4.5 "enhancement"? I've tried deleting and re-importing the project, refreshing the project and am now kind of at a loss of what to do. It's annoying enough that I may need to downgrade to 4.

Unfortunately this did not solve my problem. The application was developed in Flex sdk 4.1 and I have installed the 4.1 sdk and told the Flex Compiler to use that specific sdk to no avail (I even re-tried per your post, but no success). The fact is that the project compiles fine with either 4.1 or 4.5 sdk, it just has issues finding the imorted classes until I manually open the class files.
Further debugging and info:
I actually thought I had it fixed for a second. I renamed my "com" directory and right clicked on "src" and chose "New" > "Package" then repeated that for each directory under "com". I then closed FB and in windows explorer copied my original com directories into the new one created by FB. When I launched FB and opened the main file all my imports were recognized! I then closed FB and re-opened again to see if it was truly fixed and ... epic fail. The squiggly underlines are back and FB doesn't recognize any reference to them.
I also found that even if I navigate to the class files in the Package Explorer then right click on the file and choose properties, then click cancel (never opening or changing anything) the reference to that specific file is now valid... at least until I close and reopen FB.
Any other ideas?

Message: Javadoc could not be found in the attached source

I am working with the Oracle Open script tool. when I put the mouse on function its show me a message "jxl.Workbook Note: This element has no attached Javadoc and the Javadoc could not be found in the attached source.". Due to this I am unable to take the input for the script from excel or write data into excelsheets. So could you please help on this.

Your question would not seem to be one that is applicable to this forum - I have no idea why the moderator moved it here.
Presumably you have a tool, doesn't matter what, and that tool is written in java or uses java in some way. And the tool is telling you that the documentation for what you are looking at is missing.
There are a number of possible reasons for this but all of them originate with the tool itself. So you must ask on a forum specific for that that tool.

Error message "... could not be found on the server."

I have been subscribed to a podcast for 3 years. I received an error message for that subscription recently stating,
"There was a problem downloading "Civil War Podcast by Dr. James Robertson Jr. from WVTF. The URL http://www.wvtf.org/news_and_notes/feeds/wvtf_cw_rss.php could not be found on the server."
Something else that may or may not be related, for months I haven't been able to find this specific podcast in the iTunes store when I search for it. However, my iTunes continued to download current podcasts.
What does this mean?

I believe WVTF changed the podcast feed URL. I went to their website http://www.wvtf.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=44 &Itemid=160&limitstart=5 and got the feed URL and entered it directly under Advanced -> Subscribe to Podcast. The URL I used is http://www.wvtf.org/index.php?option=com_podcast&view=feed&format=raw
