Hi Experts,
I have created some tables & fields in my Addon. When i am running the code in SAP B1 8.8, some tables & fields are creating and some are not creating. it's throwing exception "The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))". yet i hv added the reference of 8.0.
When i am running in 2007 version its working fine and creating all the tables & Fields.
Please help me out.
Thanking all
Vishwajit Kumar

Hi Vishwajit Kumar,
The data structure has been changed between versions. If your table has relationship with system table, you must review them all one by one.
Thanks,

Can anyone please help me..Is there anything wrong with the acrobat Installation..

It's the reinstall that fixed the issue.  Turning off Automatic Updates has nothing to do with it, since when you reinstall after making that change it will reset that preference anyways.
If for some reason your COM objects are no longer registered with Windows, I would suggest a repair instead of a reinstall.  From Acrobat, choose Help > Repair.

I am working in SharePoint Server 2001 to extract its contents. My code was working fine. But it is now throwing exception
COMException: The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT)) from the following code

I have checked it in google but couldn't found any relevant solution. I am using
Interop.MSXML2 and Interop.PKMCDO dlls in my project. Please ! suggest

or you can try this from SAP Note :1235603
This issue results from using the following code:
    SAPbobsCOM.Field f = oPOrders.Lines.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_test")
Instead of the above syntax, you should use the following:
    SAPbobsCOM.ProductionOrders_Lines f1 = oPOrders.Lines
    SAPbobsCOM.Field  f =  f1.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_test")
Using the suggested syntax lets you perform the operation correctly. The issue does not happen with a regular connection.
The cause for this error in the behavior of the .NET Garbage Collector.
When the Garbage Collector is activated, it decided which memory to release and which not. In the example above, the parent object is release, while the child object (Field in our case) remains which causes the exception.
The Garbage Collectors activation is controlled by .NET. The DI cannot control its activation.

Error :<b>The Server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT:0x80010105

The "The Server threw an exception" is the top-node exception, that is cast if something unexpected happened that the developers of the SDK haven't considered... "The Server threw an exception" is most common in early releases of a new version, and is on the road replaced with more informative exceptions or bug-fixes... You should report it to the SAP Support

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding attachments to list items in app.
To add attachment to list item in the host web, we should first get the list and the list items from the host web, then add the attachments to the list items.
There are two articles about retrieve the list and list items in the host web, you can refer to them.
    http://www.dotnetcurry.com/showarticle.aspx?ID=1028
    http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadFile/93cb27/retrieve-sharepoint-app-host-web-list-items-in-sharepoint-ho/
What’s more, we can also use the REST API to achieve the same scenario.

    Hi Glen,
"The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference." is generally caused by the loaded assembly's version is different than the expected version application refers to.
In this case, it should be caused by:
While starting Report Manager, the backend process ReportingServiceService need to load assemblies it refers to
ReportingServiceService reads the compilation/assemblies element from web.config(under Report Manager virtual patch)
If the compilation/assemblies is not existing, ReportingServiceService loads all assemblies from Bin folder. It can be verified from call stack System.Web.Configuration.CompilationSection.LoadAllAssembliesFromAppDomainBinDirectory(). ReportingServiceService
uses System.Reflection.Assembly.Load with the assemblies' name only to load assemblies.
The Assembly.Load tries to load from the specify assembly by name from GAC at first. If it is found from GAC, it won't be loaded from Bin folder any more.
Since Reporting Service SharePoint Integration mode is installed, a same assembly of 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.SharePoint.ObjectModel' with different version might be installed to the GAC. That causes the error "The located assembly's manifest definition
does not match the assembly reference."
For more information about the error message and the loading process, please see:

  • „The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)" - Error when trying to create an new controlled GPO

    Hello,
we were planning to Upgrade from AGPM 4.0 to AGPM 4.0 SP2. The new AGPM should be placed on a new server. Additionally we created a new service account as the password of the old service account has been lost. We granted the new service account Full Rights
in "Domain Delegeation" and "Product Delegation", then stopped the AGPM Service on the old server.
On the new server AGPM was installed using the new service account, then the service was stopped and the archive was copied rom the old to the new server. The customer could edit policies, but not deploy them. Because of this, we changed back to the old
server, but copied the folders that were changed on the new server to keep them up to date.
Now creating a controlled Group Policy from a template causes the error
„The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002). We tried several templates and even created new ones but the problem persists.
    The following things do work:
    - editing a controlled policy
    - renaming a controlled policy
    - check in/check out of a policy
    - set a uncontrolled policy to controlled (needs to grant the serviceaccount Full rights to the policy before)
    - deletion of a controlled policy
    - creating a template from a policy
Thank you in advance for your help.

0x80070002 usually means that the source could not be found or located. Make sue that the FQDN path to your templates is the correct one as well as your DNS is
    properly configured.

  • Rollback is not working when "The server threw an exception" error

    Hi
    These are my transaction steps
    1) Call the StartTransaction method of the company object (Function AA)
    2) Add  Goods Issue (Rollback if error occurs) (Function BB)
    3) Create record with oRecordSet object (Rollback if error occurs) (Function BB)
    4) Add Journal Entry (Rollback if error occurs) (Function CC)
    5) Add Goods Receipt (Rollback if error occurs) (Function DD)
    6) Create record with oRecordSet object (Rollback if error occurs) (Function DD)
    7) Call EndTransaction (with commit) to complete the whole process (Function AA)
    These are working fine usually.
But problem is when user has "The server threw exception" error message.
Whole transaction must be rollback but still step 2 and 3 records are exist on DB.
Rollback is working fine with another error messages.
I programmed call Rollback transaction if calling function has any error.
Function BB, CC and DD are calling from Function AA.
I never have "The server threw an exception" error on my development machine with B1 2005 PL 51.
This is happened only  LIVE server with B1 2005 PL 51.
B1 was upgraded from PL29 to PL51 recently becaseu of Locking issue.
Then Locking issue was solved but have "The server threw an exception" error and rollback is not working properly.
I hope someone can help me!!!!.
    Thank you
    2) & 3) steps

    Hi Joanne,
There are 2 things to check here.
    1. is the Transaction
    2. is the RPC_E_SERVERFAULT.
    for the first one,
in step 2, just before you add the Good Issue, can you try to check first if you are still in a transaction ?
    Just to make sure.
If it is, maybe you should open a ticket to SAP support.
BTW, Which version is your Live environment ?
    for the second one,
try to search the error in this forum. there is a lot of posting about this.
The problem might also go away if you upgraded your SBO.
Please search and see if there is anything the same with your problem.
    Regards

  • While creating web application prokect getting error: The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)

I am getting error on creating even the empty web application project. The error message is as given below:
The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)
I am using following build of Visual Studio:
Visual Studio Professional 2013. Version 12.0.30723.00 Update 3
Looks like it is the problem with the installation of the visual studio. But I can't take risk of re-installing now because it would stop my going on development work.
Any would help to resolve this would be appreciated.
P.S. I am also having Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 2012 Ultimate on my system.
    Regards, Randeep

    Hello Randeep,
Will you get the same error when creating any other apps, like C# WinForm?
If only web application project has the problem, you can try the following to reset the templates:
    Please open Windows Explorer, and navigate to  <Visual Studio Installation Path>\Common7\IDE (by default is C:\Program Files \Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\IDE);
    Delete the ItemTemplatesCache, ProjectTemplatesCache folder;
Open Visual Studio Tools/Developer Command Prompt for VS2013
    under Start menu -> All Programs -> Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 -> Visual Studio Tools (run it with Administrator privilege: right-click the program -> Run as administrator);
    Run the devenv /InstallVSTemplates switch;
    Run the devenv /Setup switch
If all your projects get this error, please try repair the installaiton from control panel first. By the way, can you use Visual Studio Web projects before you get this error? And have you tried to use the Visual Studio Update 4, I see you still used
Update 3, is there any reason for you to still use the Update 3 version?

    Hi,
Before going further, what was name specified in the IPAM provisioning wizard while selecting Group Policy based provisioning method? The GPO prefix name specified in the
PowerShell command must be same as the one specified in the IPAM provisioning wizard while selecting Group Policy based provisioning method.
Regarding Invoke-IpamGpoProvisioning, the following article can be referred to as reference.

  • All my Storage giving "The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)"

I purchased Microsofts "All My Storage Pro" and so fare its been one disappointment after another but I won't go into all the problems I've had just the latest one. I was attempting to upload a file from my c:\Download folder to my OneDrive and
received a "The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)". Now I know the file is there because I just installed it from there, So whats the deal? and can I get my money back from Microsoft
for this disaster of an app?
