The storage service in North Central US seems to be down for me.

"An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host" is the error I am getting for all my storage actions - I can see from My Visual Studio Application Insights. Happened suddenly for no particular reason.

In azure storage explorer we need to fill account name and account key, but in our web role, if we use connection we need to set the connection string as "DefaultEndpointsProtocol=https;AccountName=myAccount;AccountKey=myKey;"

    You may have something disturbing Illy so she gets confused, see Item 7 in 5) below for usual suspects, or you may have what appears to be a preference corruption, see 1) - 4) and 6) below.
    The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
    1) Close down Illy and open again;
    2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
    3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
    4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
    5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
    Even more seriously, you may:
    6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

I'll talk to multiple customer service reps and nothing has really been done about anything other then we'll keep looking or so for stretching it out. since September I've been dealing with thison a month-to-month basis they cut my services they reinstate me and tell me that they're going to knock off the reconnection charge as I have four lines. Unfortunately my main reason for this phone is my work emails which I need to do because I do work and to contact my mother who is 85 years old and I'm the sole caregiver. I don't know what else to do. I have spoken to a supervisor  by the name of William or Will oats in that he said he was going to look into it and was going to help me out. Never heard from him again- just original email to quiet me down. I've been sending him emails just about every day trying to make sure that I get my message across. Seems like Verizon Wireless really doesn't care about the long-term customers. Looking forward to hearing from someone that can help me with my plight.process is faulty for returns. You don't accept them in the stores because as one customer service rep stated you can't get your own employees to send the devices back. Now the responsibilities is on the customer the paying customer the one that keeps you alive. And it's not fair that I there's no way I can prove that I put it in the mailbox. So what are my next stepswhat is it that I need to do to clear up this charge of $600. It's about economy as $600 to me at this very point it's a lot of money.     I have a similar problem with my fathers service, it wasns't $600 but what is rightfully your money, you deserve it back, I wrote this complaint on the Consumer Affairs website:
    In August 2014, my son went to Target to get a new cell phone and was told his Unlimited Data would still be on his plan (he shared a line on his grandfathers account). Well it turned out that Target messed it up and my son immediately called Verizon to get it taken care of but they were not able to do anything about the lost unlimited data but the customer service rep did try to find the best offer for him. In the mean time Verizon was suppose to send him a new cell phone, they never sent it and he was without a phone so he took his business to another cell provider. Verizon DID charge him for the new service that they had spoke about. So when the new bill (Sept) came, the service he never used was on the bill and when we called to inquire about it we spoke to a Judy and told us we would be receiving a credit of the amount that was paid. Well, we got the next months bill (Oct) and still no credit, so called them again and spoke to a Nadine ** . She looked into the account and saw the amount that was paid and said she would submit it again for a credit and she would get back to me in 2 days, no call back.
    The next bill (Nov) came and no credit again, call again but didn't get the girls name and she put me on hold to look over the previous conversations. She said she sees in the records about the credit and said it takes a while to get it thru the supervisor authorization and she would put it in as a "rush priority". On Dec. 5th my dad's cell was turned off, so I call yet again to Verizon, and explain the whole story to them again. This girl explained to me that the request was not put in correctly and that she would submit it right this time, they even turned the cell back on for him.
    So here we are today, Dec. 30, 2014, I get the bill...NO CREDIT, call up and get a gentleman in billing, explain this whole thing again and he transferred me over to customer service where I spoke to a Jordan and yet again told him the story. By this time I was fuming, 3 almost 4 months of calling for this credit and he looks into the account and tells me there is nothing that states there is a credit so all the other customer service reps see it but now it is gone. He said he can only issue me a $25 credit to the bill, not even close to what the bill was that I paid. At this point I wanted to speak to a Supervisor and even that was a problem.
    He did call me back after my phone died. He put me on hold again to speak to a supervisor himself and said that he can only offer me $100 credit for all my troubles for the past few months. I took the $100 credit because Jordan said if I spoke to the supervisor, the $100 credit might not be an offer anymore so it was either take it or leave it. Now where I stand, they get away with NOT giving the credit due to customers. I am done with Verizon.
    today being March 12, 2015, he FINALLY got the said $100 credit...but because of their delay, he service was shut off and I refuse to pay the reconnection fee due to their neglect of a customer of over ten years. My father's service will NO longer be with a place that has NO VALUE in customer service....Verizon robs their customers anyway they can.

  • I don't use the TV service. Can I cancel it and just pay for wifi?

    I don't use the TV service at all that I get billed for. The box isn't even set up and comcast support can't figure out why it won't work. I'm still and have been paying for it all year. Can I get them to only bill me for Internet service?

    Yes, you certainly can.  Your internet price will go up around $15 a month without having TV also.
    You can call and change your plan, or go to your local Comcast office change your plan, drop off the cable box, get a receipt and don't lose it.

    Suddenly while working with Firefox if I happen to drag the vertical scroll bar, a very abnormal behavior occurs. My screen dances up and down for a short time before either going black or getting restored but with no clicks working. The only way to resume is to force a restart of the system.

    That didn't work. On trying to install a new driver I got the error the graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. Is there anything else that can be done to at least prevent the hanging of the computer even if it means less features from Firefox being available?

  • Is there no way to hold the customer service department accountable when give wrong information and charged for it?

    We have been loyal Verizon customers for almost a decade and have had nothing but great things to say about our service...until about 2 months ago. Two months ago my daughter moved out of state and decided to remove herself from our family plan, Before doing so, she call Verizon's customer service department to see when her contract was up. She wanted to keep her Verizon service until the end of her contract to avoid the termination fee. The service department assured her that her contract was already up and no termination fee would be charged. You can imagine my surprise when we were charged a $138 termination fee for her line on our next bill. I called customer service again and spoke with another representative (whose name I will not disclose) and was assured that the termination fee was a mistake and that I should simply not pay that portion of the bill and the charge would disappear on the next billing cycle. I did as she said and was shocked a few weeks later when I received a less than civil call from Verizon threatening to terminate my service the next day if I did not immediately pay the $138. My wife received a similar nasty message on her phone. I explained the situation to the rep on the phone, was told that the information my daughter and I received from 2 previous representatives was incorrect, and was told to pay immediately. My daughter and I went through all the proper channels to ensure no charges from termination fees, and both of us were given misinformation on 2 separate occasions. Is there any way to hold this company accountable for its mistake? I have been in sales all my life, and if an incorrect price is quoted, I have to honor the incorrect price,even if it costs me money. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had with any company, and I'm afraid that it will eventually cost Verizon not one but five long-time customers.

    I shouldn't have to "chalk it up". This company, like other companies, should be held accountable for wrong information. We went through all the proper channels to ensure this wouldn't happen. I know this fee gets waived on a regular basis for a multitude of reasons. Moving nonwithstanding, I was told by two different people who had no knowledge that my daughter was moving that she owed nothing. If two different company employees tell me there will be no ETF, I will take them at their word. This should be good enough. What's the point of getting it reactivated if she can't use it where she lives now?

    Any advice out there?

  • My iPhone overheated while I was using it. An  error icon same up on the lock screen and in place of the clock it was written 'Temperature' and in place of the wallpaper it was written "Your iPhone needs to cool down for normal use".  What to do?

    The iPhone has become extremely hot where the camera is located and as one moves his hands away from the camera, the temperature gets cooler. Any solution?
    It is so hot around the camera that I cannot touch it.

    Did you try to reset your device by pressing the sleep and home button for about 10 sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose any data doing a reset.

    Shooting photo's in RAW format crates pretty big files that will fill up the iPad's memory pretty fast if you shoot a lot during a (let's say) month long trip.
    my idea was to use load the photo's to the iPad so i could view them and sort out any bad ones. then copy them over to the storage device so i can continue using my CF cards for shooting. I have an image thank for copying the photo's directly to the HDD but it would be so sweet to be able to check them on the iPad before hand.
    any suggestions?

  • Dependency service in maintenance, but the parent service still online.

    Hi,
    I am confused about the usage of require_all/error flags for a dependency. I have a service *"example"* which is dependent on *"example2*" with require_all/error flag set.
    When I mark example2 dependency in maintenance mode, example service remains in online state. Considering flag restart_on="error" means that the service will restart if the dependency services fails, this doesn't seem to work for me.

    Its interesting if you can run file on it:
    file /usr/local/lib/libgcc_s.so.1
    .. really should work.
    But yes, i suggest that you install a libgcc_s.so.1 from a x86/intel package. As far as i can tell you have installed the SPARC package.
    If you are using the sunfreeware.com packages, the libgcc_s.so.1 file is included in the SMCgcc package which can be downloaded from:
    ftp://ftp.sunfreeware.com/pub/freeware/intel/10/gcc-3.4.6-sol10-x86-local.gz
    The size of the libgcc_s.so.1 found in the SPARC package matches the one you had in your post (168580 bytes), so i am rather sure you have installed the SPARC gcc package on your intel platform.
    I also suspect that running /usr/local/bin/gcc will return something like "Invalid argument"..

    A simpler way to check which arch you are running is to run the following command (if you have the sunfreeware package):
    pkginfo -l SMCgcc |grep ARCH

    Hi,
    On which system you are facing this issue?
    Can you ping to the remote system\server successfully?
    Initially it seems that this occur due to services issue on system. Might possible that the remote Services component is not installed or is disabled. For that you can add the remote Services component by using the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel
    before attempting to start the service. If the service is already installed then check whether it is started properly. Additional check the relayed service for Remote and verify.

  • How do you uninstall the wireless service and lenovo battery indicator from the task bar.

    Was wondering if there is a way to remove them from the taskbar. Initially I had just the battery indicator and then I downloaded all the lenovo updates (for bios, etc.) and got the wireless service indicator too. They seem kind of redundant to me, as windows 7 already has their own on the task bar and they're just taking up additional space.
    I'd atleast like to get rid of the wireless service.
    Will this effect anything? Are they that important?

    Was wondering if there is a way to remove them from the taskbar. Initially I had just the battery indicator and then I downloaded all the lenovo updates (for bios, etc.) and got the wireless service indicator too. They seem kind of redundant to me, as windows 7 already has their own on the task bar and they're just taking up additional space. 
    Right click on the Lenovo battery gauge in the taskbar, click "Launch Power Manager", click Options, clear "Show Power Manager Gauge in taskbar" check box.  If Options tab is not available, switch to Advanced mode (upper right corner of Power Manager).
    Don't recall specifics for Lenovo network icon, but is probably just as simple.  Would be better (IMHO) to get rid of Access Connections altogether.
    Removing the icons will have no affect on anything, except your piece of mind from removing these ugly and redundant symbols of bloatware.  They are NOT important.

    Hi,
    We have several gateways set up on our other domains (DMZ, Test and Dev) using certificates to connect to the RMS with a few agents reporting to the gateway in it's domain. I am recieving this warning for all gateways and agents that are being monitored (in the other domains).  All our servers are either Win 2003 32bit or Win 2003 64bit.
    The Health Service cannot verify the future validity of the RunAs account PRODUCTION\username for management group PRODMGMT due to an error retrieving information from Active Directory (for Domain Accounts) or the local security authority (for Local Accounts). The error is The network path was not found.(0x80070035).
    From the searching that I've done on the net, a couple of people have mentioned that if you set the password expiration flag on AD users and computers for the account the problem will go away.. This hasn't happened for me.
    I have checked the logs on the gateway servers and they report the following messages:

    Despite the successful logs that appear the gateway still shows up with the same warning.
    If i stop and start the service on the gateway it then shows up as healthy in SCOM, but then the next day it the warning comes back.
    Is the problem caused by different domain acounts and when it tries to find it in the domain it can't find it?

    I also have the same problem with my scom 2012 system.
    I am getting 7021 and 7016 events.
    as mentioned by Jonathan, i am able to open notepad with the user account for which we are getting error.
    another thing noted, when we run setspn -l domain\acc , we are getting error 
    Ldap Error(0x51 -- Server Down): ldap_open

    Another point to add, my server is ABC.XXX.company.com and acc i am using us YYY\acc_name. I mean to say my account is of diff domain.
    This config is working fine no issues at all in another server which was setup earlier with 2007 r2.

    I recently had the same issue in our Forest. Did you try YYY.company.com\acc_name? If you use the netbios name, setspn (and scom does on account validation as well, if you just pick the domainname from the list) will try to resolve the dc via netbios. Two
    alternatives: add the other domain to the dns searchlist for your network adapter (I won't do this one, this does not resolve the cause of the problem) or configure your action accounts with fqdn [email protected] The funny thing is, in scom event
    you will see scom validated account "\[email protected]" (still add's the backslash)
    Correction: this did not solve the issue as mentioned before, the error reappeared again... :(

    You cannot set a different tray for the ePrint service individualy,
    However, you may set a default tray for the product, which will be used for ePrint as well.
    "You can only change the paper tray settings from the HP product control panel."
