The textbox growing doesn't shift the other box down

The rdl attached below works for SSRS' Preview and Word doc exporting rather than PDF/tif. The symptom is that those two growing boxes overlap each other rather than doing the shifting. The RDL is 2008 format.

According to your description, when the report export to word, it can display correctly. But when export to PDF, two textboxes are overlapped each other, right?
In Reporting Services, overlapping report items are not supported in HTML, MHTML, Word, Excel, in Preview, or the Report Viewer. If overlapping items exist, they are moved. In your scenario, the rectangle ‘cb1_511_0_RECT’ and the rectangle ‘cb1_522_0_RECT’
overlap, so when previewing the report or exporting to Word, the overlapped items are moved automatically. But when exporting to PDF, overlapped items can exist.
To resolve the issue, please separate the rectangle ‘cb1_511_0_RECT’ and the rectangle ‘cb1_522_0_RECT’ in design mode. Please refer to screenshots below:

Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.

Why won't my number enter in the other box

I am writing a program for class. I have to be able to input a number in a box and then have it display in the box next to it. It also has to add the numbers everytime I put a number in the first box. I am able to get the enter button to change colors. Not sure how to get it to add and display the numbers. Also the first box has to default back to 00.0 when I click enter. Hope this is clear. Here is the code.

Here's a couple of other problems, too:if (e.getActionCommand().equals ("ENTER"));First of all, that if-condition will never be true because none of your buttons have "ENTER" as their text. Several of them have "Enter" but that isn't the same thing. Even if you got the case right, this would still be a problem because you wouldn't know which button had been pressed. And finally, even if the if-condition is true, nothing will happen because you have a semi-colon at the end of it, which says "do nothing".
If you must have a single ActionListener for all those buttons, and it needs to distinguish which button was pressed, then code like this:if (e.getSource() == myButton2)will do that. However you would have to change your code to make myButton2 (etc.) instance variables of the class and not just local variables in the constructor, as they are now.

Can you move a row in a DataGridView to the first row and move the other rows down to make room?

I'm using a DataGridView (I call it "dg") to display a list of items. I want the user to be able to position the cursor on a row in the middle of the list then click a button to move that row to the top of the list (and move the other rows between
the first row and the row being moved down one row to accomodate the new first row).

If the DataGridview does not have it's DataSource set we can use the following logic

If the DataSource is set then we need to do what was done above but against the underlying data rather than the DataGridView itself. The base logic can be found in
the following article in LanguageExtensions.vb but please note the code there is for a different type of move yet the logic is still the same in the end.

"Underlay following sections" push the other setions down to next page

I have a report with a few sub reports in it. I put the logest subreport on the left and use underlay following sections for the setion. It works perfect if the report only one page long. However the subreports on the next setion was push down to next page once the logest subreport surpass one page. Is there a way to keep the other sections in the first page?

I have updated the crystal report to 13.0.13.1597.
Still I am getting the same issue. I am generating the report in PortableDocFormat and exporting the byte array to download from the web browser. The application is developed in ASP.NET 2012 .net version 4.5.
I am also uploading 2 images of the final pdf that I am getting, for your opinion.
The report appeared in the first image is ok, where the first group has 2 child records and the second group has 1 child, but whenever I am changing the mapping in the database, where the first group has 1 child and second group has 2 child, my report is not working. as it is clear from the second image
Also after installing the new version of CR, my existing codes are not working, and giving the following exception in the line where ExportToStream is written.
Unable to cast object of type 'FileStreamDeleteOnClose' to type 'System.IO.MemoryStream'.
I have modified the existing code to overcome this exception.

KDE4 freezes when the other box goes offline [Solved]

I have installed in my main computer Arch with kdemod4, in my file server Debian testing that shares a directory with samba and with nfs and in my sisters laptop WinXP.
When the Debian box goes offline (i.e. reboot or poweroff) my main desktop freezes. I can still use applications like firefox or konsole or anything else that may be open at that time The rest of the desktop is unresponsive. Kicker does not respond to clicks and does not update the time, the trash can plasmoid does not respond to clicks etc.
To solve the problem I have to either bring back online the server or restart the main desktop.
The shared folder is mounted via fstab as nfs share and I can also access it as samba share with the kde discovery service.
As for the windows laptop it goes on and of all day without being noticed at all.

4 ipods sharing music on ONE computer GET one UP the others GO DOWN

We run windows and have 4 ipods connected to the computer all with different log on accounts
We share all our music with each other
Problem
when we search for a song and click on it (so we can get it in our individual itunes) seems when you log on to a different ipod theirs is all messed up with a exclamation point on the song just previously shared.
Also, I have noticed when I search for a song I find we have up to 6 and at times 10 copies of the same song. Is there a easy way to clean up this mess and still keep all 4 ipods running?

Well, the fiirst option wasn't working because nothing will sync unless iTunes is running. Since iTunes no longer warns you before it starts syncing, when you move your iPod to a different computer, that means any kind of auto-syncing of my music was not an option.
I also got an error message each time I synced with my iMac after removing iPhoto from it (could not find a compatible photo program), which was already getting annoying. Removing Address Book from the iMac did allow me to sync contacts with the PowerBook and not lose them when syncing to the iMac.
Still, this was only 1/3 of what I was trying to accomplish, and I was getting the feeling that I was just fighting against the way this was supposed to work. So I switched to the second option.
This isn't too bad with the help of Sync Pro X, which I already have installed on my PowerBook for daily backups. What I'm doing now is that whenever I update my photos or contacts on the PowerBook, I run a Sync Pro X script that connects to my iMac and copies my changes in those two programs. Then I can do a full, automatic sync of my iPod to my iMac. Under this plan, I'll never try to sync the iPod to the PowerBook -- it's just a one-computer, one-iPod situation.
I've been following this plan for a week, and it's pretty smooth. It's not exactly what I had in mind, but I've come to think that it's the best approach given how the iPod is designed to work.
I hope this little experiment helps someone, if anyone is trying to do what I was doing.

First go to your Preferences for Photoshop Elements 9. In Windows go up to the Edit menu and choose Preferences. On a Mac go up to the Photoshop Elements menu and choose Preferences.
From Preferences choose General…. Look for where it says Allow Floating Documents in Full Edit Mode and check the box in front of it if it's not already checked. Click OK.
Now go up to the Window menu and choose Images>Float All in Windows.
That should show all your open photos as separate windows.

Copying empty text boxes so that when you fill in one the others

I use Acrobat Professional 8. I size a blank text box... it's automatically labelled "Text1". I can copy the empty box by holding the Control key down and moving the box. Now I have 2 boxes. If I want to do 3 boxes, I repeat that action. The only problem is this: They all say "Text1" and if you fill in the first box, all the other boxes are filled in with the same information. Here is my question: How do I copy empty text boxes so that this doesn't happen; that is, how do I copy the boxes such that if I fill in the first box, all the other boxes remain empty until I go and fill them? Please. Thank you.

Somethings to try:
Give each of the replicated Text boxes a unique name (Text1, Text2, Text3, etc.)
Or, place Text1 then from the context menu select "Place Multiple Fields".
This replicates the first and provides a unique Name to each.
Position each field as desired.

What does the "other" tab in itunes mean?

yesterday i downloaded the new version of i tunes and had 10gb left on my i phone and in the "other" tab down the bottom it now says 3.18gb i dont know what type of files contributes to it can anyone help?

Other can be Album Artwork, Notes, Contacts, Firmware etc. or ( in the case of an iPod that can be enabled for disk use, files that are on there if you are using an iPod as a removable storage device). If you feel that Other is being incorrectly reported then try restoring your iPhone: Backing Up, updating, and restoring your iPhone and iPod touch software

Runtime error R6025 Pure virtual function call....the program shuts down as soon as its opened

iTunes shuts down as soon as it is opened. Message says Runtime error R6025. pure virtual function call. What is this and can it be fixed???

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you've already tried a complete uninstall and reinstall try opening iTunes in safe mode (hold down CTRL+SHIFT) as you start iTunes, then going to Edit > Preferences > Store and turing off Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases. You may find iTunes will now start normally.

Clearing the Combo Box

Guys,
I have two combo boxes in my model. Which the User can type in and then select the particular <b>Employee ID</b> and <b>Employee Name</b>.
The issue is, once something is selected, lets say for example I select Employee ID "345" and run it. It brings everything for Employee ID "345".
After I do that, I want to check on Employee Name "HORRIBLE", when I do that it <i>does get me</i> the details for Employee Name "HORRIBLE", but <b><i>does not clear the other box</i></b> "Employee ID" which is still showing "345".
Is there a way to clear the other combo box when I select something from one box?

Ipages - how to set the upper margin on the text box so the text aligns at this point

I can't figure out why there is all this extra white space in the text box on iPages. I want to have the first line of my text be at the top of the text box. I'm not able to pull the top line of the text box down to it.

Remote not working on dvr but works on other boxes

I have a Dvr box in the back of the house, It was working fine today earlier. I went back in the room and poof the remote dosent work on the box. It still works the tv. So I took it out to the other boxes in the house and it works fine on the other boxes.So I took both remotes from the other boxes and tried to use them on my dvr box. Again no response. the remote lights up when I press the button. Soooooo, I had recently switched the dvr box out for a new one. I have not sent it back yet so I have 2 working boxes. The issue I had last week was not box related so both boxes work fine. I tried swapping out the current box for the old box. Same thing,the remote will not work on it.Other remotes will not work on it yet this remote to the dvr box works every other box in the house. What happened? Did I lock the box somehow? or what can I do? The remote is working , just nt on the box in my room.Could it have to to with the signal being sent ot the box? I dont know its a mystery.

My guess would be IR interference from the TV.
Trying moving the STB away from the TV as far as you can, off the the side. Or if the STB is below the TV, try putting some kind of shield between the bottom of the TV and the STB. The objective here is to try to shield the IR sensor in the STB from any IR emitted from the TV.
IR interference from the TV is a known problem, there are lots of threads here on the Forums about this. Frequently this will occur if the TV is set to a very vivid video setting. But then again this issue frequently disappears after the TV has been on for some minutes.
Another possibility is IR interference from some other device in close proximity to the STB. So what other electronic devices are nearby?
Just a guess, but try moving or shielding the STB and see if there is a difference.
