There is No Music store for Australia Why???

there is no music store avalable to australia i tried to buy a tv program & music but it wont allow me because the music store is in the us & there is no Australian one not fair there should be a music store in australia with all the features of the us one

Domenic, welcome to discussions! The issue of an Aussie music store is asked in the forums several times a weeks. The record companies require contracts for Apple to obtain distribution rights for digital downloads. Until all appropriate contracts have been signed, there won't be an Aussie store. Blame the record companies, not Apple. That is about all I can say as speculation on any new products or services from Apple is against the "terms of use" of the forums. Let me emphasize this is a user to user forum only, so what I have said is my best guess.
Just a suggestion before you post since you are a new user, you might want to use the "search" button in the upper right corner to see if your question or problem has already been discussed. It could save you time, instead of waiting for someone to answer your post.

Can I upload a simple iPhone App that all it does is direct the User to a Filemaker Pro URL   fmp://~filename.fmp?$VariableName=Value  This launches Filemaker Go and directs the user to the Database Hosted online
Right now there is no app store for Filemaker Go.   Filemaker Forgot about us.
So I want to create a simple native iPhone App that all it does
    is launch
    fmp://~/filename.fmp12?$VariableName=value
This URL will launch the Filemaker Go App
Filemaker Go is a app that the user will have to have
    downloaded already on the device..
The Simple Native app will launch the Filemaker Go.
The fmp  URL has the information where the Filemaker Pro database is hosted
and get  the user where they need to be..
    Help Me please
    iPhone 5s, iOS 8.1.3

That would be software. And, you said "upload." That's "uploading software." Why do you question what you stated?
I don't know where you even want to upload this software. The only way it can be downloaded to a device is through the iTunes store. Do you even know what you want to do?

  • Is there any free music downloads for iphone 4

is there any free music downloads for iphone 4?

        brooks2062,
Congratulations on recently purchasing an iPhone! I have the iPhone myself and love it, so I am sure you will as well. In regards to downloading music on your device, the best way to complete this task is going to be going through iTunes or the Apple App store. The Apple App store should have several 3rd party applications you can download music and play on your device. In addition any music that you have saved in your iTunes library can be synced and transfered to youre device.
    Thank you,

  • How can I download movie trailer from Music Store for iPod?

Movie trailers are produced to attract audience to see the film, so there shouldn't be any coryright issues. But why is it that I cannot copy and paste or download movie trailers from Music Store onto my iTunes and iPod? If Apple puts it on the Music Store, it expects people want to transfer it to their iPod. Sometimes just could not understand what these people think!

Thanks ALpinaoman, I am afraid things (and life in the world of Apple) are not as simple as you described it. First of all, some movie trailers - when they are played - do not have a little drop down menu arrow to the far right. Secondly, after transferring (i.e. saving) the movie trailer onto the iTunes on my iMac, only a few can be updated onto the iPod, most can't. The error message on the iMac is: "Some of the videos in you iTunes library, including the video "breakfastonpluto.ref" were not copied to the iPod because they cannot be played on this iPod. Click More Info to visit www.info.apple.com/kbnum/n301461 for more information on creating videos compatible with your iPod." What the xxxx is this ".ref" format? Why can't these stupid IT people sit down and agree on ONE format instead of MP4, MOV, AVi, WMV, asx etc etc etc.
I have used the video iPod for a month now and have all kinds of hurdles transferring video to the unit (easier for DVD, very difficult for VCD, got visual but no sound, etc etc). I have no idea how technically complex the whole thing was when I bought the iPod. I thought it was like recording your TV show on VCR which was low tech (well tech has advanced quite a bit since VCR was invented and tech was supposed to make life easier not more complicated). I guess I need to attend a one year training on computer engineering before I know how to use "user friendly" Apple products.

  • Bookmark a place in the music store for easy return???

As I'm browsing the podcast directory I am frustrated that you get kicked back all the way out when you subscribe to a podcast. I wish I could jump back to where I was hunting for other great listening options and not have to start my link to podcast directory fresh each time.
An alternative approach I tried but could not figure out how to do was to have more than one explorer window open of podscast directories but I couldn't figure that out either.

When you click on Music store, it will take you right back to where you were when you subscribed.

  • How Do I Find Music Store for Canada?

I recently moved to Toronto, but my account is listed as a US-only account. How do I use my newly updated account profile to access the Canadian Music Store?

Whether it 'has been said many times already' or not . . . the fact is . . . The Canadian sound recording industry is dominated by four multinational record companies which control anywhere from 80% to 90% of the Canadian music market. These four record labels are global giants in the music industry. Nearly every CD in anyone's collection came from one of these companies. Listed under each is a sampling of its subsidiary record labels.

And just think . . . they all have head offices located in the U.S. The only RECORD COMPANIES I could find listed in the Music Directory Canada were: 2M Records, 4Play Records, Agasea Records, Alert Music Inc., Alleged Iguana Music and Analekta. However, I did find BMG Music Canada listed under RECORD DISTRIBUTORS, which is affiliated with Sony/BMG Music Entertainment.
So, perhaps the complaint is somewhat legitimate . . .

  • There is no iTunes store for the country of Trinidad and Tobago

So how do I purchase apps and music and other products?
I have a paypal account and also a skybox address in Florida.

Yeah there is, just download iTunes from Apple.com and switch to the Trinidad and Tobago Store. I'm not sure about the paid apps but I know you can download free apps. If you want your music, download a free mp3 downloader and player because apple only allows you to listen to music from iTunes
    Hope it helped!

  • Albums there...then not there in iTunes Music Store???

Say, I was shopping in iTunes and noticed that an album I purchased last week, "Workin' with the Miles Davis Quintet," isn't there today. Moreover, an album that iTunes suggested to me, "Cookin' with the Miles Davis Quintet" isn't there either. Has anyone else noticed this "here and gone" phenomenon?

It happens sometimes, for various reasons. Sometimes an album is only granted to the iTMS for a limited time, sometimes one is pulled due to technical problems, and some times issues crop up with the rights after a record company has granted the rights to the iTMS, among no doubt other reasons.

  • Is there a 'Transferring music' guide for idiots?  Please help

Please Help!!!  Two problems... 1) Bought a new PC, wanted to transfer music from old PC to new PC.  Wasn't sure how to do it, so I copied library onto a memory stick (just by copying and pasting) and downloaded to new PC.  Had to do it in sections b/c it all wouldn't fit on one transfer.  (Try to stop laughing, I know that probably wasn't the correct way to do it)  : )  Anyway, I authorized the new computer, and was able to listen to anything I purchased from ITunes on the old computer, but not any of the music I downloaded from CD's.  It gives me an error that says can't locate file, blah blah.  Where should I go from here?  Start from the beginning?  Go back and try to redo each song that did not come over correctly?  I'm an idiot, I know, please help.
Problem #2 - I just downloaded new version on new computer and the majority of all songs now have the exclamation point next to them and when I try to listen, it says can't locate file.  : /  Please say this is not a lost cause!!!

    Figured it out...nevermind.

  • Itunes music store still not available in AUSTRALIA

I was so excited to watch the October 12 video stream and was sitting on the edge of my seat when I saw the ipod video revealed before my eyes, i was so excited I logged on and bought one straight away forgettign why I originally started watchign the video stream. i started watching originally to see if Steve Jobbs would announce music store available in Australia. Act I, Act II, Act III, one more thing and the finale and encore came and went. I was so shocked that after all this time Australia still does not have access to purchase music and now video and TV programs. Would somebody care to comment. I have written 5 letters to Apple and of course there has never been a response from the company. I am sure I am not he only one there must be more voices who would like to comment...

I read sometime back that they were in negotiations with the music labels for an iTunes Music Store in Australia but some labels as you may know are now insisting music downloads be more costly than 99 cents to which Steve Jobs has replied that they are getting greedy.
Apple has been trying to reject a price increase and as they will have to renew existing agreements soon with labels for countries in which there is already an iTunes Music Store that will likely also be an issue in future to be resolved. I don't think there will be an iTunes Music Store launch for Australia till negotiations with music labels are completed.

  • Why can't I choose WHICH music store to shop from?

Is there any way of changing between music stores, i.e. why can't I go from U.K to Sweden to France to wherever? If I want books from all over?
Is it just me that's annoyed by this, I'd like to be able to switch stores like I do in real life?
If any of you wiz's out there have got any hints, I'd be really grateful!
    Best regards,
    Lila B

Hi Terence, and thanks for a really quick answer!
I just meant that I want to be able to find audiobooks from several stores, but when I search "my" store I only get English versions, or none. I seem to be on the UK store but I'd really like to be able to go between stores like you go between countries.. Surely my credit card(s) can't determine this? I thought it was a signing up thing? But maybe there's no way of changing stores, yet? can I hav several iTunes on my computer?
I really don't want to be troublesome or to have any trouble, i just would really like this thing to be properly global...
    Best regards,
    LilaB

  • Moving and No Music store there

Hi. I'm moving from Denmark to Iceland and in Iceland there is no music store now. What can I do to still access all my songs that I've bought on Music Store. Last time I was upthere I noticed that I can't listen to those songs. I get this frame to log on and then I just get the box that says "can't access Music Store" Is this just lost money or what.

Your computer should remain authorized, but even if it's become deauthorized (or you have a different one), you should be able to still log on and access the Danish iTMS from Iceland. If you can't access the Danish iTMS, most likely it's a firewall problem, either on your system or on your Internet connection.
Note that if you no longer have a Danish credit card, you won't be able to purchase any new tracks. But your old ones still should work.

  • MP3 player for music store

    Hi
We're building a music store for a record label and wondered if anyone could share experiences in getting MP3 to stream. We need something akin to the iTunes simplicity.
IE click a play button and hear x seconds of preview. Nothing more than that. No fancy displays or song titles etc needed.
    Fingers crossed.
    Cheers
