There used to be a special feature on the previouse versions of Firefox. when you close the firefox with multiple tabs opened it displays an option of saving it or closing without saving. but this version specially the 7th doesnot have that.
specially version 3.6 is good on saving the tabs before closing the firefox. but the latest versions should have had more that just this but it doesnt support the saving tabs or may be i didnt see it there. please if it has this feature let me know.
the other thing is the norton toolbar 2011.7.1.3 is incompatible with firefox 7.
Firefox 4 and later versions save the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.<br />
Use "File > Exit" or "Firefox > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox") if you want to restore multiple windows.<br />
You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History.<br />
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.
Using the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" setting is a more reliable way to restore session data.

The drop down "FILE" in the tool bar use to have a choice to "CLOSE TAB". This is now missing so when I have multiple tabs open and I want to close the most recent, I cannot. I then get warned that I will be closing multiple numbers of tabs, but there is no other choice.

Problem: Firefox Browser Tabs when using RoboForm
When using Tabs in the Firefox browser (with multiple Tabs already open), I (1) click to open a new (blank) tab and then, (2) click on RoboForm to go to a new website. Instead of the new website opening in the newly opened (blank) tab it opens in the first (far left) tab. This only began happening when I installed Firefox 5.0 and RoboForm Desktop v7.3.2 at the same time.
My system: HP Pavilion Media center, Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit, 8GB RAM, Firefox v5.0, Roboform Desktop v7.3.2Thanks a lot. The culprit turned out to be Webmail Notifier. Unfortunately, there seems to be some problems on their end that the developer has not yet responded to, but something about the extension is screwing up tab functionality.

i have checked the box that says to warn me if i am closing firefox with more than one tab open but if i do close with more than one tab open it does not warn me?

I own an ipad2 and have loads of music and vids/photos etc on it from an old pc.
I just bought a new pc and wanted to transfer everything to the new pc
I've transferred purchases but this only transfers things bought in the itunes store like apps and a few songs
The rest of the content is still on my ipad.
When I press sync, it warns that it will delete all the content on my ipad and replace with the few things I've managed to import.
How do I transfer all the content to the new pc?Similar issues here.
I purchased five movies for download and having nothing but problems getting them downloaded. I keep receiving error messages and the download stops and I have to restart it, just to get another minute worth of download with each restart. Now Apple has my money and I have nothing. -
in the older version of firefox, you were prompted when you were closing multiple tabs. but you were also given the option of saving the current setup so that when you reopened firefox, this current setup would reopen also. how do i make this happen with firefox 4.0?since i updated to firefox 4.0, there is no obtion given to save my current setup.
You can change Firefox preferences so that you also get the option to save the current tabs when quiting:<BR><BR>

Issue with Safari and using the back arrow with multiple tabs open
I open multiple tabs in Safari but when I'm in a tab browsing and I hit the back arrow, in the new version of Safari, it doesn't just go back to the previous page in the tab, it completely backs out of all the tabs. What am I doing wrong?
I have a PC running Win 7 and the lastest version of Safari. I launch Safari which opens to my home page (CNN). I then go the News on my menu bar and select Open in Tabs - then tabs for 6 news sites open up. However if I go to one of the tabs and start navigating around the sight and I want to back up a page I click the back arrow like I have always done in previous versions of Safari but instead of backing up 1 page in the tab I'm in, it collapses all the tabs and I'm back with only the CNN tab still open. Its frustrating not being able to backup on page and I can figure out what's going on. I've use Safari for sometime now but only this version is giving me this problem. I tried resetting and reinstalling Safari but still get the same problem. Any ideas? Its like I'm backing out of tabs instead of pages.

2) I switched Safari to 32 -bit mode and rebooted my iMac but I still can't get the CBS videos to run
The exact message I get in the Hulu or CBS box is:
The video you have requested is either unavailable or is being blocked by an ad blocker installed in your browser.
I have the same problem with the Safari, Firefox and Opera (all are the latest versions.

Firefox should warn me before shutting down when I have more than one tab open. Although the proper options are set, it just shuts down. VERY PAINFUL.

Whether you do it the old way or the new way you can always pick up your last session from the History menu. So even if choose not to restore you tabs at the end of session or are not asked you still have the option to work from the last session through the History menu.

When i pull firefox back up i want all my tabs to appear in seperate tab windows.
Go in menu->options->options->select "General" tab and here in "When firefox start" change the option.

I recently updated Firefox on my desktop and laptop. Before, when i closed Firefox, a window would open and ask me if i wanted to return to the same group of URL location tabs the next time i opened Firefox.
Now it doesn't ask that, so i have to remember which sites i was using each time. When I open iWeb it does not "Highlight" the New site or new page options. It has had this issue for over a year! I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it. What do I do? It opens the tutorial video, then when you close it, nothing else is clickable.
Open iPhoto, select a couple of photos and use the Share ➙ iWeb ➙ Photo page menu option. That has jump started iWeb for others. I could take a couple of tries.
If that doesn't work try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iiWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.

I am seeing below error in my weblogic server logs couple of times in a day. I have gone through couple of blogs and seems this error is related to weblogic patch.
Could someone please help me understand what exactly this error represent to and what could be impact because of this. So far we dont see any issue in our development enviroment but want to fix this error.

Have Adobe Captivate 6 (not interested in upgrading)- Struggling to publish a simulation in a format that QMP can pickup - QMP needs a qml file. previous versions had no problem all had tick boxes for QMP in the Quiz - Reporting Settings but this version does not have. If i publish to Flash QMP does not see the file.

The quiz review button is inconsistent - sometimes it shows the ticks and crosses other times it doesn't - did you find a solution? I'd dearly like to be able to tidy up the ticks!

I've been trying no update itunes 11.5 to iTunes 11.1.0 but this appears on the screen (error NSURLErrorDomain -1102).(102)
I had the same thing. I quit the App Store app and tried it again and it worked... sort of. iTunes is telling me that I have the latest version of 11.1 installed, but I do not see the iTunes Radio button. Is it because this feature is not available in Canada yet?

That's simply not possible I'm afraid. You'd need to give them their own account and allowance or make it so you are required to be there to input the password when they wish to make a purchase.
