"This connection is untrusted" shows up CONSTNATLY!!! and I cannot move the page down to get to the bottem of I understand the risks to override it. How do I do that or how do I TURN IT OFF!!!

Even sending this message gets the" This connection is untrusted"!!!!!How is that for stupid!!! How do I turn it off or do I have to use some other site and wipe firefox off my computer.

Just got this warning for facebook, Amazon, and Google, I have just told my clients to stop using firefox until the problem is fixed, it is a support nightmare because you have inexperienced users calling in convinced that they have a virus on their computer, and that they need to unplug the internet to prevent anything bad from happening.
I had one customer call in and say, "it says get me out of here, Oh my God what have I done I should never have gone online"
You know what can we have a better more accurate statement, on that warning, like Hi, thanks for stopping by this website may be sharing a security certificate with a parent organization, it may not really be a bad thing we just wanted you to know about it before you go on your merry way. Oh and by the way were going to make you jump through hoops and clicks check boxes and do this and do that before we let you go on your merry way, wait, " Are you really sure that you want to be doing this?" Do you know what your doing, perhaps you should call your ISP for advice, and get support from someone who has nothing to do with this issue.

IPhone Calendar Events ALWAYS have sound even when event on the Mac does not. How do I turn sound OFF on these events?

I make a new event, I set the Alert = Message (NOT "message with sound"). When event happens on the iMac there is no sound. Same event, syched to the iPhone, has sound.
I have deleted events, recreated, synched. Absolutly certain Alert is "message only." No change in behavior.
I have checked all preferences. iCal is set to automatically add an alert but I make sure I add the alert myself without sound.
I just found the iPhone settings/sounds/calendar.alerts and I set this to "vibrate only." I assume this will shut off the sound on ALL calendar alerts. That's not really what I want to do (I want sound on some events, just not on every event) but if that's the only option available I'll take it.
Can I get the iPhone to do what I tell it to do instead of overriding my settings?

Well the screen on my Macbook has become well unusable and well the screen flickers then freezes and i cannot move the mouse unless i hold the screen i suspect something is loose in the screen which connects it to the hard drive and keyboard

If your screen is flickering, you might have a hardware issue there. I would take Macie to the doctor and have her checked out.

Press the iTunes' status bar (the one you can find at the bottom of the window) and drag it to another part of your desktop in order to show the toolbar and the close, minimize and maximize buttons

Earlier today, my PC clock set itself to tomorrow's date. I fixed it, didn't think anything of it. It is currently correct.
Now, I'm getting the "This Connection is Untrusted" on every site. If I change the PC clock to the INCORRECT date of tomorrow, it will start working again. My BIOS clock is correct.
The only thing I can think of that I've done between when Firefox was last working and now install Origin. I don't recall if it stopped working immediately after I set the clock to the correct date (I usually work in another browser save for a few sites -Opera, by the way, has no problems).
I'm stumped. Also, if it's relevant, I literally built this PC yesterday, clean installs of everything.

Hi Awkward, if the problem mainly affects sites you've visited before, could you try renaming Firefox's certificate store file, cert8.db, so Firefox starts a new one? Here's how:
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using either
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
* (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
* type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button. This should launch a new window listing various settings files.
Leaving that window open, switch back to Firefox and Exit, either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
* (menu bar) File > Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''cert8.db''' to something like cert8.old (note: if your Windows does not show the .db extension, you can turn on display of file extensions following the steps in this article: [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hide-file-name-extensions])
Start Firefox back up again. Can you visit secure sites more normally?
I'm not familiar with Origin. Does it affect how you connect to the internet, in particular, does it proxy your connection or include anything like a private VPN? You can review and experiment with your Firefox connection settings here:

The default setting of "Use system proxy settings" should piggyback on the Windows/IE LAN settings. You could try "No proxy" and see whether that makes any difference.

I updated to the latest version and now I do not have the page controls at the right hand side and bottom and can only move the page up and down using the mouse scroll wheel. I also cannot see the whole page I am trying to view.

When I open the web browser I cannot see the whole page and I cannot move the image sideways and must use the mouse scroll to move up and down.
