This Entry Already exists in table (Message: 131-183)

Hia All,
I have a very serious problem that's I have been unable to solve on my own.
I have a User defined form that is linked to a User defined Object. The Object consists of a Master data and a Master Data Lines table.
I am able to add a record without any problem, but I attempt to update an existing record I get the following error: "This entry already exists in the following tables..."
Strangely, this only happens when I add iditional records to the Lines table, and not when existing data is altered.
Please help me.

Hi Ben, yes I was able to solve the problem.
It seems that when you add additional rows to your lines table, you have to manually add the records to the DBDatasource on the before action. i.e. Catch the Item Pressed before action on item 1 (OK button), and manually insert the additional lines into the DBDatasource as displayed below.
e.g.
i = oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).Size
oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).InsertRecord(i)
oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).Offset = oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).Size - 1
oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Item(1).SetValue("U_ItemCode", i, Code)
This code will typically reside insode a loop seeing as you will loop through your matrix/grid rows and add the additional lines.
This sorted out the problem for me, I hope it hepls you.

  • This entry already exists in the following tables -Message

    Hi,
Im getting a [RDN1.WhsCode][line:3], 'This entry already exists in the following tables(ODBC-2035)'
This message is presented frequently in returns and credit memos. Our company uses batch numbers for our items. When the item is returned, is returned to a different warehouse from it was originally delivered, so we change the warehosue in the return form and credit memo form. So we need to click the "create" button in the batch selection window, because there are no batch numbers to be selected.
Any Ideas as how to solve the problem?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
This entry already exists in the following tables Message is always related to duplicated record creation or application error.  For you case, I think it is better to return to original warehouse first and do inventory transfer to the actual return location in the second step.
    Thanks,

    Hi Gordon,
What happens if  the user had performed a Update Query on the OTAX table and then added the invoice he was unaware that he should not run UPDATE queries on database. But invoices to which the update query was not executed cannot be added.
    The query follows :
    UPDATE TAX1
SET AbsEntry = XXXXXX where AbsEntry = YYXXXXXX
    Select Top 15* from OTAX INNER JOIN TAX1 on OTAX.AbsEntry = TAX1.AbsEntry
    ORDERBY OTAX.AbsEntry DESC;

  • This Entry Already Exists in the following table 'Contact Persons' (OCPR)

I was just trying to add a contact name 'Peter' to a BP master data's contact tab. But it is giving me the error message: This Entry Already Exists in the following table 'Contact Persons' (OCPR) (ODBC-2035) [Message 131-183].
We've already have lots of contact name as 'Peter' in our BP data. I don't know why this one can not be updated.
    (recently upgraded to SBO 2007A)

    Yurong

    hi Yorung,
Please forward the template to me. WIll check for available possibilities as I had also come accross the same problem and worked it out. Though there are chances that reason in your case may be different.
Try the following things and see the results
    1. Try to import in a fresh database. Is it done??
    2. Try to enter one data(Contact person) manually in the DB you are trying to import (Old DB). Does the system show the same error?
    3. Check that whether your template contains the same Contact person Name for the same BP if it is more than one?
Please see to these areas and revert back. Please forward me the template.

  • This Entry Already Exists in the following table (DLN1) ODBC-2035

    Hello Experts,
I am getting the following error while entering the Deliveries :
"This Entry Already Exists in the following table (DLN1) ODBC-2035 Message: 131-183"
    can not enter deliveries.
    Kindly Help

    Hi,
This error comes when the table DLN1 is updated but no update is made in ODLN. So when you enter any delivery there is mismatch between these
tables. This isssue is related to missing header or Row. So this is a database corruption issue. You should log a message on channel partner portal
    for SAP Support.

  • This entry already exists in the following tables 'Journal Entry' (OJDT)

    Forum,
I'm 8.81 PL09. Yesterday we performed a stock count then updated quantities and then reconciled the stock posting. This correctly posted a journal to the relevant stock gain/loss account.
Today we found that there had been a couple of mistakes in terms of the counted quantity so we again went into Stock Taking, amended the quantities then went into stock posting. We confirm the quantities need updating but upon trying to 'Reconcile' we get the following error:
This entry already exists in the following tables 'Journal Entry' (OJDT) (ODBC-2035) [Message 131-183]
I have tried to perform a restore item balances to no avail.
Could anyone shed any light on this?
    Regards,
    Juan

    Hi,
I'm facing the same problem. It seems like the number series got stuck. I also reconsiled the first load, and then for the next one I'm facing the same problem as you have. I can see the first journal entry having the correct docnum according to the number series setup. But in the number series setup, the "Next no." still have the same number as the first journal entry. I have no idea how to fix it, but to make it work for now I guess you could go and change the default number series for Journal Entries and finish rout inventory posting.
Let me know if there is any fix on this one.

    Hi,
Kindly check the Last Deposit number entered in the system.
Check the Deposit Number in Add mode. If both the numbers are same then its a DB issue. You need to log a SAP Support Ticket to get your issue investigated.

  • This entry already exist in the following table " (ACPR) in SBO 2005A

    Hi All,
I use training database of SBO 2005A SP 01 PL 39.
When updating new business partner (BP), the error message appears from system is this entry already exist in the following table " (ACPR) [ODBC 2035] (message 131-138).
This error is happened after I finished define the contact person. If I skip contact person, BP could be updated. I do creating business partner manually.
When I delete the ACPR entry, it could work well. I use query : delete from acpr where cardcode between 'xx' and 'yy'.
How to resolve the problem without deleting the entry ? does the table has maximum entry in the ACPR ? Thanks in advance

    Hi John,
Here are the details of note number 991296.
    I hope it helps.
    Adrian
    Symptom
In certain cases, when trying to update a business partner master data the following error message appears: "This entry already exists in the following table (ACPR)".
This problem occurs because of old data in the history table ACPR (Contact Persons - History) that conflicts with current data in OCPR table (Contact Persons).
    Other terms
Update, BP Master Data, History, ACPR, OCPR, "This entry already exists in the following table (ACPR)".
    Reason and Prerequisites
    Application error.
    Solution
In order to confirm whether the above issue affects your DB, please run the following queries:
    SELECT T0.CntctCode, T1.Name, T0.CardCode AS 'History Card Code', T1.CardCode AS 'Current Card Code' FROM ACPR T0 INNER JOIN OCPR T1 ON T0.CntctCode = T1.CntctCode AND T0.CardCode <> T1.CardCode
If the query retrieves any results, please contact your Support Center.
