This is a somewhat lengthy question, if two people have text msg to one another, is it possible for one party to erase all the texts sent on their end of the conversation from their phone, therefore deleting the conversation on MY phone?

I find myself in the midst of a lengthy divorce and custody battle.  Many contentious texts have been sent back and forth between parties, hard copies of those texts were made and submitted to Court.  Now I turn on the old- As I had to get a new phone and number- but kept the old phone for evidence- and all my responses are there, but the other parties are mysteriously gone.  This has happed to another party involved in this issue as well a third party that receieved texts from said individual.
Is this possible? and if so HOW???  It is the offending parties cell account if that makes a difference.  I am glad I made hard copies, but don't know how much it will bring to bear as evidence if the other side of the whole conversation is wiped out?

So you are saying that, if a soon to be ex deleted ME from their phone contacts- then their responses would no longer be visible from my old phone.?
Say we said-
how are you today
                                                       I responded great You?
Good thanks...
                                                          whats up?
Nothing...
OK then all I now see is
                                                       great you?
                                                         whats up?
but their responses are now gone from my phone on their side of conversation.  See what I mean?
