+ & - TM for 2 diffferent Depts in 1 Business Area

Hi Experts,
I have 1 scenario where in i have to maintain Bothe Positive & Negative Time Management.
The Org.Stracture as follows->
Comp Code- Company A under this Pers.Area- Location KK under this Pers.Subarea-KP.
Now Pers Subare KP has business areas as-KP1
In Business Area KP1- 1dept-KPM is Marketing  & KPA is HR.
Dept KPM-Marketing has Positive Time management
Dept KPA-HR has Negative Time Management .
Can this be possible.
Please guide me how the time management groupings has to be done.

Like your employees configuration and assigning are fully different for the + TM Employees and - TM employees. that means Two TM configurations 1 for + TM and one for - TM.
Time schedules, working day schedules, Breaks, etc are different for these two. while generating time schedules you have to divide these two why because there work schedules are different and may be holidays also vary.
first you have to create a rough sketch and configure according to that. if you give some clarification that pa psa eg esg and assigning config then easy to understand and able to give suggestion.

  • Field Business Area is a required field for GL account  - urgent

    Hi all,
    we had created a new plant 3800. During configurations , business users created material for 3800 on 3000 and started purchase. Now after configurations, those materials had to be extended on plant 3800. Material have been extended but when the stock is transfered from 3000 to 3800 via MB1B , system says "
    Field Business Area is a required field for GL account ICI 2201001".
    Any idea that why this error comes? I have checked every thing, cudnt sought out.

    When you are transferring the material from one plant to other plant using mvt type 301 or 303/305 etc.,
    there is a field selection variation between the mvt type and G/L account which was triggered for this Transaction.For mvt type 301, the filed Business area is not mandatory and for G/L account 2201001 the feild is mandatory.
    You can resolve this by changing one of the field selection group, i.e. either MVt type or G/L account.to do this follow the procedure.
    1.Go to SE38
    2.Type program RM07CUFA
    3.Execute the program
    4.It will ask for Mvt type nad G/L account number, give the details and execute
    5.System will display the difference between the two filed selection groups.
    6.From the same screen , you can change the fileds option by selecting the error log.

  • Business Area not populated for F110 but it works for FBZ2

    Hi all Gurus,
    I have marked my co code in OBY6 for Business Area Financial Statement.  In GL a/c, I also marked the FSG to be "Required" field.  For posting key field status, it set to "Optional"
    During F110 auto payment run, the Business Area field was blank and without any update.
    But if I perform the same for manual pymt posting via FBZ2,  Business Area is mandatory field.
    Please help to undertand the logic.

    Tax line item is automatically created in document.....i want business area to be pickep up for the same.
    We want substitution create for Business area updating ;- When Document has 4 line item at the time of TAX and TDS line item the Business area not update, MIRO Document also not update the Business area.

    Please kindly read the SAP note number 199886     Business area in tax line
    In the value-added tax line items, the field "Business area" is NEITHER
    automatically filled NOR can you enter a value manually.
    Postings to VAT accounts must be made WITHOUT business area. The reason
    for this is that the field "Business area" does NOT exist in the tax
    data. Therefore,the advance return for tax on sales/purchases can also
    only generate postings WITHOUT business area and these postings must
    correspond exactly to the original tax postings in your account
    assignments. Otherwise, the tax accounts would have steadily increasing
    business area balances.
    Unfortunately I must inform you that the business area is not available
    for substitution because it can cause inconsistences in AM,CO and MM
    modules.
    Substituting the B.A.field is a modification to the standard SAP
    system. To make the business area field substitutable you must have
    written an ABAP to update table GB01 for the GSBER field, this is
    all explained in SAP note 42615.

  • Checking for business area during posting

    I need to check for business area balancing during posting of documents.
    Eg: if we receive bank interest income for a bank account from a business area Y then the entries should be credited into same business area Y
    Dr Bank - Y
    Cr Interest income - X
    this should not occur
    user wants to have an error message if the entries doest balance the business area while posting a document
    can any one plz tell me how this can be done?(does fi validations help in this?)

    Hi,
    One option, you can create role via Tcode PFCG for each user/company which do not have business area. You can disable the business area in authorization tab.
    One more option you can greyed or freezed the business area field for the company which do not have the business area by using Tcode OBC4. You can suppress the business area field for each GL that been used by the company code. In other words, you create special field status group for the company and suppress the business area.

  • Business area required for subcontracting GR

    Dear Experts,
    In subcontracting scenario while executing GR; if we enter PO number, system proposes the component.
    We have expand / collapse button which allows us to see which are the materials (BOM) getting consumed for component we are receiving.
    My problem is if we expand the material tree, then for each line item of sub components I need to enter business area. If the list is too big, it is very time consuming to enter business area for each component.
    Request to convey me any standard setting which copies business area automatically for sub components.

    Firstly can you please check your settings in OMBW for tcode MB01
    Please check whether business area is not suppressed in your system
    in transactions OMCJ and OMBW and take into account that the system
    fills the business area in the vendor item if a business area can
    explicitly be determined from the offsetting entries. If several
    business areas were used for the offsetting entries, the field in
    the vendor item is not filled. Also please check whether material is
    assigned to division and whether in transaction OMJ7 is correctly set.

      Special stocks E/Q:
       As of Release 4.5, for special stock E/Q the sales order or the
       WBS element is primarily the key for the special stock.So that
       the sales order or the WBS element is also copied as the account
       assignment, the field selection for both fields must be
       maintained (Notes 117596 and 110675).
       117596 KI235: GI from Q/E stock (Customizing) or M7073
       110675 Valuated sales order or project stock: Error KI235
    Please call the transaction OMBW and ensure that the field selection for
    WBS-element (Project) is set as "Optional" (instead of Suppress).
    Then please retest the reported issue.

  • Report Writer report required by Business Area GSBER  for table GLPCT  ECC6

    Please help,
    I have a requirement for report writer report by Business Area (GSBER) for table GLPCT.
    I am using Libruary PCA which has GSBER already activated
    In report I am able to select GSBER in General Data Selection and generate.
    However when I execute report I get error message GR410 "Characteristic GSBER cannot be combined with key figures" .
    I have looked at SAPnotes 929889 1155524 and 358251, which describes solution to add field to CCSS table (structure CCR1S) however I cannot work out what structure to change for table GLPCT used in my report.

    Hi ,
    If you are using the cube: 0FIAP_C20, then i guess you are using the standard extractor 0FI_AP_20 . One thing which i remember that there is a standard view in ECC : LFC1_AEDAT.
    This view has two tables : LFC1 and BWFI_AEDA2.
    LFC1 - Vendor master (transaction figures)
    BWFI_AEDA2 - BW FI: Log Table for Changed Transaction Figures
    This standard extractor uses table LFC1 to show vendor balances.
    And the table BWFI_AEDA2 contains the log of the changes that has taken place business area wise and account no of the vendor wise .
    Please check the view definition to confirm the same . Once you will see the joining conditions in this view you will get a clear picture of the above point .
    So for your issue, you can do datasource enhancement of 0FI_AP_20 .
    The logic will be based on LIFNR,BUKRS,GJAHR available from the datasource , fetch the business area from this view and populate it in your datasource .
    But first check in the table BWFI_AEDA2 whether for the field BWFI_AEDA2-TABNAME= lfc1 , business areas are maintained .

    Hi All,
    I am implementing the Inetrcompany return process for the client.
    1) I have created a intercompany Return PO (NB doc type) .
    2)  Created a delivery against this PO.
    3) when i am posting goods issue for this Return delivery , i am getting this error "Fld selectn for mvmt type 673 / acct 407300 differs for Business Area (033)"
    Am i doing the steps correctly or i need to handle intercompany return differently?

    it will due to the cross field selections in movement type 637 and field selection for gl acct
    any one of it have entry as required and one might not have
    go tothat acct in FS00 check the create/bank tab here see what u havein Field status group
    now go to OBC4 here for ur co co de meke business area mandetory or optional for that Field status group
    also check OMJJ for movemnt 673

    You have two option
    1) Create 1 cash  journal  for Ccode
    2) Create  8  cash  journal  as per your BIz Areawise.

  • Business area not appearing against VAT entry in Accounting doc for Invoice

    Dear All,
    We have configured Business areas,
    When we post an invoice with multiple line items and open the Accounting document for this invoice we find that Business area is visible against Freight Amount and the ,Sales  A/c but that no business area is appearing against the Vat payable amount in the accounting doc.
    Why so?
    what should we do so that system determines the business area against the VAT Account also.

    This could be due to two reasons
    1)  If one invoice contains multiple business areas, only blank space will appear in accounting document.  To avoid this, invoice split should happen based on business area.  Invoice split can be done through VOFM data transfer - billing document.
    2)  If a particular G/L Account is assigned in multiple Business Areas, this problem will come and you need to apply Substitution Exit RGGBS000

  • Depreciation run for each business area

    In case all business areas are belong to 1 company code.
    So how to run depreciation for each business area separately?
    I mean business area A can run depreciation for itself, and not affect other business areas in the same company code.
