To calculate the value using MAX

Hi All,
In my output table i have value Time of TYPE P.
I want to get the maximum value from the time coloum.
I have tried using the MAX function like Max(ws_output-time)
but gettting error.
Can someone please guide the step need to be taken to get the output max value from the workarea(ws_output) field (time)
Thanks in advance..
Regards,
Chirag

say time field is T1 type sy-uzeit in your internal table .
SORT ITAB by T1 descending .
read table itab index 1 .  " this places the time value of the max in the 1st row.
itab-t1 holds max value .

Hopefully a single sinusoid tone.  Otherwise things get really interesting.  Also know that impedance is based on the frequency.  I'll have to dig into this again.  I have not had to calculate an impedance in well over 10 years.

  • How can I change the value used in a Criteria Rule in a Subscription agent

Dear mobile heroes.... How can I change the value used in a Criteria Rule in a Subscription agent in a quality environment? (CRM 70 SP04).
I have built a subscription agent in dev, which uses a static where clause to filter activity_object on VKORG. I need to filter on a different VKORG value in the quality environment, but when I change the value of the sales org, the change is not saved. I have tried this even non 'activated'  subscription agents, but it still does not appear possible to change and save the changes.
This poses a big problem because the VKORG value I want to use does not even exist in the dev environment, so I could not even rebuild in dev and transport the new agent to quality. Can anyone help me?

    Too old to care now.

  • Retrieving the value using formatted search

Hi everyone. I have a question regarding on how I can get the value of the user-defined field in the title of a marketing document. I would like to get the value using formatted search and sql query.
Here's the format I am currently using.
    $[$ <Item>.<Pane>.<Variable>]
    Is my format correct? Thanks.
    Regards,
    Omann

    Hi Omann,
You can refer to fields in an entry screen using the syntax
    $[Table name.Field name]
The table name is the name of the table belonging to the entry screen, for example, OINV for the A/R invoice entry screen.
You can also use the fieldu2019s item number and fieldu2019s column number to refer to a field on the entry screen. By doing this, the query applies to all document entry screens. The syntax is then
    $[$Fieldu2019s item number.Fieldu2019s column number.NUMBER/CURRENCY/DATE/0]
The system is able to uniquely identify each field of a document using the fieldu2019s index number and fieldu2019s column number. If you have activated the debug information under View  Debug Information, the system displays the fieldu2019s item number and the fieldu2019s column number in the status bar.
You use the NUMBER parameter if the field concerned contains an amount and a currency key, and you want to extract the amount only.
You use the CURRENCY parameter if the field concerned contains an amount and a currency key, and you want to extract only the currency key.
You use the DATE parameter if the field concerned is a date field and you want to use it for calculations.

  • Problem to calculate the coherence (using NetworkFunction-VI) with only 1 row of data for each, the stimulus and response input

    Hello,
I am trying to calculate the coherence of a stimulus and response
signal using the Network Functions (avg) VI's. The problem is that I
always get a coherence of "1" at all frequencies. This problem is
already known (see KnowledgeBase document: Why is the Network Functions (avg) VI's Coherence Function Output "1"?).
My trouble is that the described solution (-> the stimulus and response input matrices need to have at least two rows to get non-unity coherence values) doesn't help me much, because I only have one array of stimulus data and one array of response values.
Thus, how can I fullfil the 'coherence-criteria' to input at least two rows of data each when I just have one row of data each?
Any hint or idea is very much appreciated. Thanks!
    Horst

With this weird board layout, I'm not sure whether you were asking me, but, on the assumption that you were, here goes:
I found no need to use the cross-power spectrum and power spectrum blocks
1... I was looking for speed.
2... I already had the component spectral data there, for other purposes. From that, it's nothing but addition and multiplication.
3... The "easy" VIs, assume a time wave input, as I recall. Which means they would take the same spectrum of the same timewave several times, where I only do it once.
I have attached PNGs of my code.
The PROCESS CHANNEL vi accepts the time wave and:
    1... Removes DC value.
2... Integrates (optional, used for certain sensors).
3... Windows (Hanning, etc. - optional)
    4... Finds spectrum.
    5... Removes spectral mirrors.
    6... Scales into Eng. units.
7... From there, you COULD use COMPLEX-TO-POLAR, but I don't care about the phase data, and I need the MAG^2 data anyway, so I rolled my own COMPLEX-TO-MAG code.
The above is done on each channel. The PROCESS DATA vi calls the above with data for each channel. The 1st channel in the list is required to be the reference (stimulus) channel.
After looping over each channel, we have the Sxx, Syy, and Sxy terms. This code contains some averaging and peak-picking stuff that's not relevant.
    From there, it's straightforward to ger XFER = Sxy/Sxx and COHERENCE = |Sxy|^2 / (Sxx * Syy)
Note that it uses the MAGNITUDE SQUARED of Sxy. Again, if you use the "easy" stuff, it will do a square-root operation that you just have to reverse - it is obtained faster by the sum of the squares of the real and imag parts.
    Hope this helps.

  • How can I calculate the value of the cell, which depends on other rows?

    Hi, all!
I have an application with table. In this table i have calculate some fields, that doesn't exists in data class and depends on other row values, e.g. current row number, or sum of previous rows. How can i calculate this values in TableView?
The problem is that I have no information about the current row number in the cell value factory.
    Example:
    public class Transaction {
         public String getName();
         public BigInteger getAmount();
} // There is no getter for "Balance"
Result table should be something like this:
    Name
    Amount
    Balance
    transaction1
    300
    300
    transaction2
    200
    500
    transaction3
    500
    1000
Also, after sorting by "Amount", "Balance" should be recalculated:
    Name
    Amount
    Balance
    transaction3
    500
    500
    transaction1
    300
    800
    transaction2
    200
    1000

Strings can be converted to numbers by various parse methods. For instance Strings can be converted to double via Double.parseDouble(myString).
That being said, it appears that your textfield will contain numbers and operators, and so these operators will need to be parsed too. I would advise you to search on the terms Java infix postfix.

but its not writing back the values to Feb even though its not showing any error.
Even i am trying to write values to all the months in the year once it is posted to JAN like..

    Your help is appricaiated...
    Thanks,

    Hi Naresh,
I understand that you want to allocate the values in Jan to all the other months of the year
In that case you can try the below logic as well
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET T_GLACCOUNT = R_BASICSALARY
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET T_DESIGNATION = MANAGER
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET RPTCURRENCY = LC
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET T_CATEGORY = PLAN
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET T_DATASRC = MANUAL
    *XDIM_MEMBERSET T_ENTITY = US01
    *FOR %YEAR%=2009,2010
    *FOR %MONTH%=FEB,MAR,APR,MAY,JUN,JUL,AUG,SEP,OCT,NOV,DEC
    *WHEN TIME
    *IS %YEAR%.JAN
    *REC(TIME ="%YEAR%.%MONTH%")
    *ENDWHEN
    *NEXT
    *NEXT
    *COMMIT

    Hi,
You need not pass the condition records for filling the pricing records in the sales order. The functional consultant will maintain all the necessary pricing procedure and the condition records and it will flow from there.
May the pricing procedure is not correctly defined for that particular soldto party in the system, once that is maitained then everything will flow correctly.
    Thanks,

  • How to calculate the in use percentage of cache ?

    Hi, All,
    I have two questions here:
    1. Can we calculate the proper cache size based on the average key/data pair size and the number of key/data pairs? Is there any formula or something? ( I doubt it :), so next is the second question )
    2. If we set a fixed cache size, and ensure that it has almost 100% hit rate for all the entries accesses. Does this mean that the cache is enough? And if yes, can we calculate how much percentage of the cache is actually in use?
    Thanks in advance.

( I doubt it :), so next is the second question ) You can estimate that, just that you should also consider: the page size and how many records will fit on a page.
Depending on your type of access method, you can check here for formulas that are estimating the total database size (you can find them here: http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/am_misc/diskspace.html ), and just translate that to the cache size. Be aware that any cache size less than 500MB is automatically increased by 25% to account for buffer pool overhead.

  • How to calculate the value from prompt and use the value as filter

    Hi everyone,
I am designing a OBI query. I want to write a query and one of it filters comes from the dashboard prompt. Say I want to make a query to pull out the record for 3 consective years and user wants to enter the last year # and omit entering the first 2-year code#.Thanks!

    Hi,
    if i understand your question
you have a prompt for year.. and it's assigned with presentation variable, say: var_year
And you are just entering value for only one year, say 2000.
Then, the request (which is using that prompt value as filter) should display year values 2000, 2000-1 (i.e. 1999), 2000-2 (i.e. 1998).
    Is this your requirement?
    If then,
Hope you are using edit box as control for year prompt and assign a presentation variable for that prompt.
Now, in report go to filter of year prompt, click on advance > Convert this filter to SQL.
    write here... *Times.Year between @{var_year} and @{var_year}-2*
And make sure that your var_year is integer, if not cast it to integer

              Hi Jenny,
The WebLogic Server allows you to configure the number of active beans (with an
identity) which are present in the EJB cache.
This cache is the in-memory space where beans exist.
When a bean is brought into the cache, ejbActivate() is called, when it is removed,
ejbPassivate() is called. It is basically
equivalent to virtual memory being kept in memory or on disk. Tuning it too high
              will use up memory unnecessarily.
Activation and passivation of EJBs is analogous to virtual memory on a computer.
You want to minimize the number of times that
your beans are activated and passivated. The cache size can help minimize this
activity. To set determine if you cache size
should be bigger, take a number of execution snapshots. Look at these snapshots
of your execution and see if there is a lot of
passivation and activation going on. If so, increase the size of your cache and
see if performance improves. Otherwise, leave this
              value alone.
              regards,
              Ashok.
