TO CEO @ VERIZON OR TO SOMEONE WHO CARES*** PLEASE HELP ME *** BEFORE I GO CRAZY

I have a vortex by LG. I got it in feb.2011. I have had trouble with it since that day. Turning off all the time , screen locking up,  sending txt to someone different ,SD card not working ,which I have handled all these problems myself  by resetting/swiping it clean often (which is a pain) taking the battery out ,  turning it off for a few hours , blah blah blah ,you know all the stuff you do to have a phone on the go. I asked around & most other people who had this phone was pleased.  I only know off 3 other people who have this phone.  then about a 3wks ago the SD card wouldn't mount or just wouldn't read @ all. I tried everything I knew to do . I go to the Verizon store waited my entire lunch break ( 1 hour) finally someone tried to help me I told him my problem he said well your going have to buy a new SD card which was about 60$ . I felt I waited for nothing. I spent over an hour for him too hold my phone & tell me pay more money. he still couldn't tell me why it did this or how to fix it . Just pay more money . Well I had a extra SD card from my camera it worked then few day later starts the same thing , good thing I didn't buy one cause looks like I would have had to spend it again anyways ,  but I could @ least call out & get calls. Finally a few days later my screened locked up completely I tried all the blah blah blah stuff again. This time it was no fixing it . I go to a different Verizon store hoping to get better/faster help I walk in & tell the lady my problem again on my lunch break she picks up the phone dials customer service & hands me the phone. I think really I could have did this myself why are you people even here! So the guy on the phone says your still under warranty we will send you a new phone or u can upgrade & get a new phone I asked for what kind of price he said the price of the phone , I said no thanks I just paid 200$ for this phone & haven't even got to enjoy it , just send me a new phone he said it could take up to 5 days!!! What I said can , u get it here any faster he replied yes for 13$ I can ship it overnight but it would take 2 days uh, just thought he said overnight!!! I guess over night doesn't mean what it says but I said I don't feel I should pay it since I really didn't break my phone he said there was nothing he could do but it probably wouldn't take the full 5 days they just have to say that  ... Wow OK so 5 days goes by without any phone to use . I finally get the phone but it take the full 5 days,plus the 2 days I tried to fix it to avoid the stores I follow the instruction to activate it thought it was fine but then the next morning  I get a call @ work from my babysitter stating my phone still didn't work!! After work I go back to the 1st Verizon store (which I dreaded so much I would have rather shot myself in the foot , but I'm a nurse who needs my foot & phone) since I had no help from either stores guess it didn't matter which one I went too. After waiting a good 45 MINUTES for help they finally look @ my phone they were stumped on what was wrong cause it said it was activated but not working they finally call someone & the guy finally tell me its is activated under someone else's # ! OK so what do I do ?? The guy hands me the phone says they needs to  verify my address ( which I thought to make sure I account  holder )  I gave the phone back to the guy @ the store they talk for a few more MINUTES. & he said OK , I was like OK what ! Oh he didn't tell you we are going have to send you  NEW phone again!!! Really I have to go another 6 days without a phone!! He offered if I brought an old phone  back in(which I live 20 MINUTES away) he could activate that one till I get the new phone in... 1st off I don't keep old phones I recycle them ( thought that was a good thing)& even if I did have one it wouldn't be a smartphone & that's what I pay dearly for...  ( a phone store who can't lend you a phone while they are fixing your phone that you didn't break even thou you are still paying them for a phone)  MESSED UP RIGHT! He said it shouldn't be that long they are going to overnight it for free but it was Saturday So he said I should get it TUESDAY.**lol overnight what !! Do I not know what overnight means***  I was like yeah yeah YOU ALL say that ! I left the store in tears I depend on my phone I have a 1 yr old child & my job depends on my phone as well . I go home from work Tuesday no phone image that , Wednesday I get a letter from fedx stating I was not home to sign for this device ! Really cause the last one was just put in my mailbox , didn't have to sigh anything the 1st time. I finally get the phone on THURSDAY. It was late so I waited till Friday to activate since I have already been without a phone for 12 days now. Today is Saturday. Guess what??? My phone is saying to mount the SD card again ! OK really I just been thru 3 phone in 13 days!! I DON'T FEEL I HAVE DONE ANYTHING WRONG TO MY PHONE . I KNOW NEW TECHNOLOGY IS GOING  TO HAVE ITS MISTAKES SOMETIMES !! BUT NOT @ MY COST!!! I DON'T THINK I OR ANYONE DESERVES THIS! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO????? I CAN'T AFFORD TO GO BY A SD CARD VERY FEW DAYS!! I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY *****DEARLY****  FOR SOMETHING THAT I DON'T GET TO EVEN USE & NO ONE EVER OFFERED TO PRO-RATE BILL!!!!  I PAY A 175 $ A MONTH I FEEL THAT SHOULD BE CUT IN HALF SINCE I HAVE HAD NO PHONE FOR ALMOST 2 WEEKS!!!! I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO TO STORES & THEM DO NOTHING BUT WASTE MINE & THEIR TIME ! I CAN'T AFFORD 200$ TO GET OUT OF CONTRACT WHEN I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG !!!     Hi.  This is my first time posting.  My Macbook Pro with Os X Mavericks has been running super slow since before I installed Mavericks so I'm pretty sure it's not the OS that has the problem.  It runs slow even if only one app is open, especially if it's a browser, particulary google chrome.  If mail is open...forget about it, down to a crawl.  I don't know how to read Etrecheck, but was hoping someone who does can help me out.  Would be super grateful.  :-)
    P.S. - Also, it sounds like something is loose inside my mac.  How should I proceed?

    I have had enough with Verizon Wireless and their lack of service and NO WAY to contact tech support. Which of you brave people will speak up and answer this question? Any way to get answers on ANYTHING to do with lack of phone service, no connection, weak signal/no signal, lack of coverage, etc. Why am I having to ask this question in a "community" forum? Why isn't there a link on this useless website for something other than spending money, buying new equipment, upping my contract? Should any company's customers have to use a forum and speak their mind or go to Facebook or Twitter for support. (Which by the way is just another forum and a pacifier.)

    I have a 07 BMW 5 series and a 6th generation ipod nano. The ipod plays fine through the car but it does not charge. The ipod I used previously was able to play and charge. Is there a way that I can get the new ipod to charge?

    I am trying to migrate data from a WE8ISO8895I characterset database to an UTF8 characterset database. I noticed that many pp are having this issue thru' some other postings by other pp in this forum but I realised that so far no one has been able to give us an answer. Will really appreciate some reply to this. Thank you.
    I tried exp/imp function but the fields which contains doublebytes characters all becomes ??????....
    I am now trying SQL loader to import the data which was exported into a flat file delimited by '%' but as my tables containing the doublebyte characters has a field of long datatype which was not the last field in the table to be defined, I am unable to use the PIERCE command in the control file. So, in the control file, I indicated that the datatype for the long field to be varchar with 2048000kb as well as 4048000kb. This doesn't work either and I was prompted by the system to use TRAILING NULLCOLS. But all my fields have data.
    Is there a cleaner and simpler way of transfering the data?

    If the person is trying to send you DRM video, that won't open on the Mac unless you have a virtualization solution. Also chances are it won't be legal for you to open it on another computer than their own, unless they are willing to transfer the license to you for that video.
    If they are sending you a newer type of video than WMP can handle, try Flip4Mac. And if Flip4Mac doesn't work you'll probably need to install Windows on your Mac to play it. Ask them the source they are sending you.

  • Can someone at Apple please help me with iPhone 4s battery life?

    I bought two iphone 4s 16gig's the day they were released from Sprint and am having horrible battery life. I love the phone and its features, but I have tried everything I have found in the discussion groups and in other forums online and am still getting terrible battery life from the 4s's.
    For example, I charged my 4s when I got home last night and then once it was at 100% charge at bedtime, took it off my charger in order to use that same charger to charge my ipad overnight. This morning, the fully charged 4s had dropped to 45% battery life...without ANY use whatsover overnight...! I just asked my wife how her 4s is doing today and hers is down to 63% since this morning with very, very little usage. (She hardly ever uses any of the data features, etc., only makes phone calls).
    Something really weird also happened to the battery life yesterday while I was flying home from Venezuela. I had charged my phone overnight and did not use it at all on the way to the airport, then turned it off on the plane from Maracaibo to Miami. When I arrived in Miami, I turned it on, checked my email, sent a few text messages and also some Heytell messages during my 1:45 minute layover before turning it off before getting on the plane. Our flight was delayed due to mechanical problems and I turned the phone one in order to show my seat mates how Siri works. When I turned it on, I was shocked to find the battery percentage had dropped to sixty some percent...!
    I left T-Mobile after 8+ years as a very satisfied customer specifically to get the new 4s. Was running jailbroken 3gs on T-Mobile without any problem and much, much better battery life. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with what we are dealing with. I wish someone from Apple would at least tell us what is going on or simply replace our phones if it is a hardware issue.

    You need to check out some of the other threads on battery issues (but not the very long one) in this forum.  There are a lot of suggestions from users who seems to solved the problem.
    But you won't get any Apple input here, as this is a user-to-user forum and Apple usually doesn't respond to out posts.

    Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:

    Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
    If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
    Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
    Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
    If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
    Select
    Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
    from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.

    i just received my imac in the mail today and itunes won't add any songs to the library. at all. i drag them into the window, it lights up green but nothing happens. it just stays at the screen with tutorials on how to download music and import cds. i can't access the my music for this or anything. what's up with that? please help me.

  • I bought a new macbook pro and its already been used by someone else. Please help!!!!!

    I bought last week a new MBP 13" with retina display but after 2 days I started using the mail app but when I was about the set my mail account, I notice that there was already another name in the name section. I was just wondering if apple sells refurbished macbook pro as new????? this is the second time a return my macbook pro because the first time it had a defect on the screen.

    I would take it straight back to the store and explain what happened. They should replace it with a new model. While you're still in the store, open it up in front of them and make sure it prompts you to set the computer up from scratch (e.g., create user, etc).

    ok so basically the deal is that i used to just have itunes 7.0 then for some reason it stopped opening due to a problem they encountered. it didnt say what the problem was so i downloaded the new itunes 7.2 and got the same message:

    I am experiencing the same problem with my computer. I just bought my IPod today and downloaded the itunes 7.2, but every time I try to start Itunes I get the error message, "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We're sorry for the inconvenience." It give you the option to send data to microsoft. Very frustrating!

  • Can't seem to talk to anyone who can actually help me!

    I have been trying to get legitimate assistance for my high speed Internet that went down yesterday right in the middle of a final I was taking for school. However after hours of tech support trouble shooting and being hung up on to the hour plus I waited on hold today, I have yet to speak with anyone who can tell me why nobody seems to care about my lack of a connection. I was told the issue is not with my house and is a Verizon field issue but nobody is available to fix this. How is that possible?! It is absurd that I am on day 2 of no Internet when I work from home and go to school online. The amount of data I am using just to post this message is probably absurd. I really need to speak with some sort of management and can't understand why this is such a problem. Can someone please give me a number or email address to someone who can actually help me?!

  • Terrible Service from BT - Can someone please help...

    To make a long story short I have bullet pointed my current experience with BT;
    Hi purchased BT Infinity their top package at the time (Unlimited BT Infinity 2) on the 11/11/12 Order number #(REMOVED)
    BT Engineer came and installed BT Infinity on the 12th December line – I went onto the BT Sainburys Voucher Redeem page and filled out all the information to claim my vouchers.
    We then fitted our BT phone – this is where it starts
    When someone calls we get a connection loss of normally 30 seconds before internet is restored
    When we end a call we get a disconnect of 5-6 minutes before connection is restored
    Yes the phone is connected to the “Master” socket that BT fitted when they came to install BT InfinityI then called their “technical” team whom read from their script off the screen for a full hour then performed some tests for 24 hours and called me back the next day to tell me to tell me what I already know that I am getting disconnections and arrange to send out an engineer.
    Great I thought this will be all be resolved, Engineer booked to come and investigate (I forget the date think it may have been towards the end of December I think its Ref REMOVED) my girlfriend took the day off work due as their was no weekend slot available she stayed in all day awaiting the engineer called BT three times whom say they would “deffinetly” be attending yet not one phone call or text from BT no engineer came.
    I phoned BT to see what had happened no explanation, a days wage lost due to BT
    I then booked the engineer to come out the 22nd January (Order No# REMOVED) this time the engineer came on time tested my line went to the cabinet and confirmed that there is a fault on the outside line and it would have to be replaced; the BT engineer said I will receive an update to what is happening next.
    Since then I have heard nothing from BT no phone calls, no emails no texts nothing!
    So I’m stranded with a slow Internet, a phone makes a “hissing noise” when in use which the engineer said was due to the faulty line, and whenever anyone makes / receives a call I get instantly disconnected.
    To top things off the Sainsburys voucher never arrived, I called BT whom submitted a request to get chased up a week later I received the voucher excellent!!! (25/01/14)
    My other half  went today to get some groceries for the week with the voucher only to be told by the till lady that the card is EMPTY! Nothing on it at all!
    I call BTs complaints contact number to wait 45 minutes before finally giving up.
    So here I am almost 2 months down the line paying BT full price for a service im not receiving.
    Can someone from a UK call centre that knows what they are doing please help me before I have a nervous breakdown, I cannot face speaking to someone who will “log my call” read from a script then never to return with an answer to what is going on?
    I have submitted this via the online “complaints” feature on the BT website over 2 weeks ago but never heard anything back.
    Please help.

    can someone please help me before i pull all of my hair out.
    i have windows vista - 64 bit - the HP IQ500 touchsmart with a wireless keyboard.
    in the systray the num caps and scroll lock appears as little blue boxes (when on).
    everynow and again they simply disapper.
    i researced how to activate them again but cant remember how to do it.
    there is a way without having to mess with the registry and without downloading any program
    i just cant remember how. i know wherever it is...you ultimately get 3 boxes that you can check in order to turn the options back on.
    i am not talking about toggling, or sound, or mscofig and then boot.
    does anyone know the steps to turn the caps scroll and num lock indicator in teh sys tray back on
    oh, and right clicking on the toolbar and going to the notificiation area is not what i am referring to either.
    I checked in the control panel programs and the hp on screen caps lock indicator etc program is there.
    I reinstalled it nonetheless and confirmed it is installed properly
    When I right click on the notification area I do to properties/notification area/customize
    There are two lists there
    1. Current Items and
    2. Past Items
    For some reason I see caps lock - scroll lock and num lock under the past items
    There you are also able to change the status of the items to either Hide wne active, hide or show
    All three (caps/num/scroll) are SHOW
    I click apply OK then apply
    I restart the computer and nothing. The on screen caps lock indicator is still not in the notification area/systray area
    I repeat teh steps to ensure that the three have the SHOW option chosen and they are.
    So....
    Program is installed
    Items are check for SHOW
    Restart was done
    Ohhh and also...I went to MSCONFIG and made sure that the HP Keyboard Program was selected/check mark as one of the start up programs.
    There in a run command to activiate the 3rd party program (hp onscreen indicator program)
    When you enter the run command that I cant remember...you then get this option where there are three check boxes...one next to num lock - one next to caps lock and one for scroll lock.
    Once you check/select the boxes/options you want...presto they appear in the sys tray/notification area.
    I just cant remember the run command it to save my life.
    Please....put my mind to ease...cause I am losing it!
    I just cant seem to "walk away"...must be my OCD :-(
