To clear minor difference in GRC account

Hi,
GR and IR giving a very small differences which somehow not due to quantity or not due to exchange rate.
GR clearing 50.01
IR clearing 50.20
Difference of 0.19
So in this case, how can I clear the GRC clearing account?
As it is not due to quantity, i cannot use MR11.
Any transaction that I can use to set them off completely?
Thanks

Hi,
You can charge the difference in to Rounding difference account by using the Tolerance limits.  When you are executing E.13 select the check box of Include tolerances, then system automatically charge the difference in to Rounding difference account.

  • Automatic Clearing with Differences

    Dear Friends,
We have defined the tolerances for Clearing Differences and also assigned the GL Codes for posting of differences in the debit and credit items. However, when we do the clearing, we notice that the system is not clearing the line items that have the difference, but clears the line items which do not have difference. We notice in the additional log, the message appears, Account blocked - No clearing. When we check the GL in FS00, it indiactes "GL Account temporarily blocked" Message No. FH042.
Could anyone help what needs to be checked. Thanks!
    Regards

    Hi Arjun,
For your information and benefit there were two issues involved which were preventing the automatic clearing -
    a. The first was a very minor issue, the automatic clearing in the same GL Account was being carried out by another user and therefore the system was giving the error message - The Account is blocked.
    b. Secondly the issue was that the clearing differences GL Account had a Feild Status Group which had the 'Text Maintenance" as a mandatory requirement. Once we made it optional in the FS Group, the users were able to proceed with the Automatic Clearing with the differences.

  • FB05 (post and clearing) u0093The difference is too large for clearingu0094

I am passing entry through FB05 (Post and clear). The entry is between two GL accounts maintained as open items. At the time of passing the entry there is difference between these two accounts. I want this difference to be posted automatically to profit and loss account. (I don’t want to charge of the difference manually). I can not post the entry because system is throwing error such as “The difference is too large for clearing”. I checked the tolerance limit(OBA4), but the difference is within the tolerance limit.
Does anybody know how to configure for this situation?
Do I need to do any configuration in FBKP?
    (Please consider this very urgent)

    Amit Bedekar.

    Hello
    Check if this helps.
    Reason Codes
    Use
To use the clearing document to find out why a difference existed, you can assign reason codes to the line items. Reason codes are indicated by keys that you define in Customizing.
You can assign reason codes for the following:
Partial payments made for open items.
Residual items created for an open item. Here you can assign one or more reason codes. In this case, you divide the difference amount into a corresponding number of partial amounts.
Differences posted on account without reference to an open item.
For each line item you enter in the clearing procedure, if the reason code field for the account is ready for input.
    Integration
When you process residual items, the reason code also controls how the remaining amount is posted. The remaining amount can be posted as follows:
To a G/L account that is assigned to the reason code you enter.
As a new customer or vendor open item if you do not enter a reason code, or if the reason code you enter is not indicated as described.
    Features
    Properties of Reason Codes
For incoming payments, you can send a payment notification to the customer. This process can run automatically if differences arise during clearing. In the tolerance group set up for the customer, you can define what type of notice to create for partial payments, residual items, and payments on account.
The system can use the specified reason code to determine the type of notice to create as long as only one reason code is specified in the entire clearing transaction.
In order to check a customer's credit limit, the total of open items is taken into account. If certain contentious items should not be considered, you can define a separate reason code for these items.
    Reason codes control:
How the difference is posted (as a new open item or to a predefined G/L account)
What type of payment notice is created
Whether an item is included in credit limit checks
For information on defining reason codes, see the following activities in the Financial Accounting  Implementation Guide:
    Define Reason Codes (Incoming Payments)
Define Reason Codes (Manual Outgoing Payments)
Define Standard Reason Codes for Clearing with Payment Advice Notes

  • Post exchange rate differences to separate account on invoice verification

    Dear expert,
I'm facing a problem and need your guidance related to exchange rate differences between Goods Receipt and Invoice verification caused by time differences
My company buy an asset using purchase order with account assignment.
    As an example:
Asset price on PO      : 100 USD
On Good receipt (Exchange rate 1 USD = 9,000 Rp)
    Journal created
      Asset                             900,000 Rp
         GR/IR Clearing                900,000 Rp
On Invoice verification (Exchange rate 1 USD = 10,000 Rp)
    Journal created
    GR/IR Clearing                  900,000 Rp
Asset                               100,000 Rp  (Exchange rate differences)
        Vendor                             1,000,000 Rp
My Company wants to put "Exchange rate differences" into separate account (Gain/Loss realized account) instead throw it on asset because asset value would be change. How make it happend?
I already try to configure KDM (Exchange rate differences) and OB09 and still exchange rate differences posted into asset

  • What is the differences between the account assignment category of E and M?

Hi, I have a question about account assignment category.I hope someone give me the answer , and I would appreciate it.
as you know, there are so many account assignment categories (e.g. A:asset,K:cost center)in sap customizing, when we want to purchase asset, we will input A to the field of account assignment category in purchase order.
When will we input E or M in purchase order? What will it imply when we input E or M in purchase order? What is the differences between the account assignment category of E and M?
    Best Regards
    Bob Wang

Vijay,Thanks for your answer, but I am still not clear about it,I have a instance to describe my question at detail.
If there is a final product A, and the planning strategy for A is 20(MTO), the procurement type of A is F(external procurement) at the view mrp2 in the material master datas.
    step1: I creat a sales order.
    step2: run MRP for A.
step3: transfer the purchase requistion into a purchase order, and the field of acc.***.cat. in the purchase order will be filled out M automatically, because the acc.***.cat. in the planning strategy 20(MTO) is set with E.
Well, the purchase order is created, what is the relationship between the sales order and the purchase order? What will be happened about costing between the SO and the PO?
If I delete the E, I make the PO become a standard PO, what is difference between standard PO and the PO including E?
    Best Regards

  • What is the newest GTS/GRC Release? Where is the difference between GRC/GTS

    Hi Folks,
I am glad cause I found this forum.
What is the newest GTS Release?
I am a bit confused cause I saw
GTS 7.1 must be the newest.
But also there is a GRC 8.0 but I think this is not a GTS this is a GRC only for Governance
    G = Governance R = Risk C = Compliance.
Where is the difference between GRC and GTS?
Hope you can bring some light into this shelter.
    Regards
    Dieter

Actually it is GRC GTS 8.0.
But there will be soon GRC GTS 10.0
As you see the "full" name is GRC GTS.
But there are also some other GRC solutions.
As far as i know GRC is a more strategic tool. Eg. to get AEO Certificate or to minimize risk of a compay.
GTS is used for the daily foreign trade business (import/export/SPL,trade preference).

    Plz explain.

A Payer is the individual or company who settles the invoices foa a service or for delivered goods.
    Whereas the account group determines:
Which screens and fields are necessary for entering master data
Whether you can or must make an entry in these fields
How master record numbers are assigned (externally by you or internally by the system) and the number range from which they are assigned

    Hi all,
we have to manually do a FI posting to clear the consignment liability account, but there are 2000 line items, so I'm wondering if there is any automatic clearing process like GR/IR clearing ( MR11) for consignment liability account? Or can we run a program to clear this account?
    please advise.

uncheck docs which can be cleared and try , make sure test run is on.
try with other gr/ir as well just too see if this tcode serves  the purpose.

4.3.7.1 Backing Up Archived Redo Log Files with BACKUP ARCHIVELOGTo back up archived redo logs, use the BACKUP ARCHIVELOG command at the RMAN prompt. This example uses a configured disk or sbt channel to back up one copy of each log sequence number for all archived redo logs:
    BACKUP ARCHIVELOG ALL;
Even if your redo logs are being archived to multiple destinations and you use RMAN to back up archived redo logs, RMAN selects only one copy of the archived redo log file to include in the backup set. (Since logs with the same log sequence number are identical, there is no need to include more than one copy.)

4.3.7.1.2 Using BACKUP ARCHIVELOG with DELETE INPUT or DELETE ALL INPUT
You can specify the DELETE INPUT or DELETE ALL INPUT clauses for the BACKUP ARCHIVELOG command to delete archived logs after they are backed up, eliminating the separate step of manually deleting the archived redo logs. With DELETE INPUT, RMAN only deletes the specific copy of the archived redo log chosen for the backup set. With DELETE ALL INPUT, RMAN will delete each backed-up archived redo log file from all log archiving destinations.
For example, assume that you archive to /arc_dest1, /arc_dest2, and /arc_dest3, and you run the following command:
    BACKUP DEVICE TYPE sbt
    ARCHIVELOG ALL
    DELETE ALL INPUT;
In this case RMAN backs up only one copy of each log sequence number in these directories, and then deletes all copies of any log that it backed up from the archiving destinations. If you had specified DELETE INPUT rather than DELETE ALL INPUT, then RMAN would only delete the specific archived redo log files that it backed up (for example, it would delete the archived redo log files in /arc_dest1 if those were the files used as the source of the backup, but it would leave the contents of the /arc_dest2 and /arc_dest3 intact) .

  • How to deal with the product price difference g/l account

    Hi:
When I went to the transaction fs10n to look at the g/l account 281500(gain from own product price differences) and I found there has 40 EUR in credit column, then the cumulative balance is credit 40 EUR,obviously this 40 EUR credit is due to the difference between order price and invoice price. My question is how to deal with it?

The Finance department needs to coordinate it with the Purchasing on the correct price. If the invoice price is the correct one, then there is a need to recognize the difference as per accounting standard. If in case that the order price is the correct one, they should inform the Vendor about it and once the Debit or Credit note is received, you just need to post it as "subsequent debit or credit" the amount will offset to this price difference.
