To create a Soft Rules Constraint in Product Configurator.

Hi,
I have a scenario, that is specified below which has to be configured in Admin- Product -> Constraints:
"A recommends B means that if Sales Specialist picks A, B is selected by the system but can be unselected manually without warning/error message from Siebel. A and B can be Components or Relationships."
Can any one help me in achieving the solution.

Shortdump upon calculating settlement rule in co-product-orders w/rule PP6

Hello,
We use production orders with co-products. Production Order Type contains distribution rule PP6 (settlement of co-products by actual cuantities). We have installed the MILL-funcionality
If we create a production order for a small quantity, the system gives a shortdump upon calculating the distribution rules in the settlement rule in the order.
Key-words in shortdump:
COMPUTE_INT_TIMES_OVERFLOW
CX_SY_ARITHMETIC_OVERFLOW
in procedure "MILL_IT_CALCULATE_BASEQUANTITY" "(FUNCTION)"
If we create the order with a sufficient big quantity, information messages appear, telling that are rounding errors creating the settlement rule in the order. The order nevertheless is created correctly and no shortdump appears.
We already implemented notes 1349991 and 1524822 but they dont resolve this problem.
Any clues?

User Exit for the Settle rule of a Production Order

Hello all
i got a requirement to change the settlement rule of a production order to multiple receivers.
suppose i have the following rule

2. Costing production resources/tools: COPCP003

The costs for production resources and tools are calculated as a flat rate within production overhead.
This enhancement enables you to plan the costs for production resources in costing with quantity structure in different ways. Here you can specify how the production resources are to be costed.
In the cost component structure, the production resources can be shown in separate cost components.

3. Material valuation with cross-company costing: COPCP001
This enhancement contains the component EXIT_SAPLCK21_001.
Here you can enter the prices for valuation of a material that is transferred between company codes.
You have the following options for the valuation of materials that are transferred between company codes:
o You are using the standard system without cross-company costing. In this case the system uses a price in the material master record in accordance with the valuation strategy. The material is treated as if it were externally procured.
o You activate cross-company costing. In this case the material is recosted in the other company code or transferred according to the transfer control ID.
If you have not activated cross-company costing, you can use this enhancement to define alternative prices for valuation of a material that is transferred between company codes. That is, this enhancement allows you to specify which price should be used instead of the price from the material master record.

4. Costing Bulk Materials: COPCP004

5. Valuation Price with Valuation Strategy U: COPCP005
This enhancement contains the component EXIT_SAPLCK21_002.
You can use this enhancement to specify prices for valuation of materials if you want to use valuation strategy U (valuation with USER EXIT) for material valuation to find a price for the materials.
This enhancement does not contain any example program code from SAP.
Activities
To activate the SAP example reports (the procedure is similar forthe other enhancements):
1. Create a new project or use an existing one.
2. Set the indicator SAP enhancements and choose Change.
3. Enter SAPLXCKA as the SAP enhancement and choose Save.
4. Set the indicator Enhancement components and choose Change.
5. Position the cursor on the enhancement component EXIT_SAPLCKAZ_001 and choose Edit -> Use SAP source code.
6. The system asks whether you want to create ZXCKAU01. Answer Yes.
7. Maintain the attributes.

Unlike modifications, enhancements are always upgrade-compatible because they are implemented in a name range reserved for the customer rather than in the SAP original.

Navigation and Creating a navigation rule at runtime

Hi all,
How can I create a navigation rule at runtime?
I got all my pages (names and locations) stored in a database table.All my pages are jspx format.
I don't want to create navigation rules for each page, Instead I want to use the location stored in the database and create a navigation rule to navigate to.
I tried navigating using ServletRequest :
        ExternalContext ectx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance().getExternalContext();
        HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse)ectx.getResponse();
        HttpServletRequest request = (HttpServletRequest)ectx.getRequest();
        request.getRequestDispatcher("/faces/Titles.jspx").forward(request,response);But it blows after the first call.
is it possible to create a navigation rule in a Bean or is there another way to call jspx pages from a Bean without loosing the session.
Can someone help me please.

Ahmad,
I don't know of any way to programatically create navigation cases at runtime. However, perhaps you could try creating a NavigationHandler decorator. Let's assume you have a function called "getViewIDforAction" that does the database lookup and returns the view ID for a given action code. You could do something like this:

Is there a way to create guides within ruler guides or aligned to ruler guides?

So I was wondering for my own sake if there was a way to create guides within ruler guides or have it align to ruler guides? I am working on this magazine where the layout has a ruler guides. Which is inside the margins. I'm guessing this is to ensure the content is safe and also leaving adequate room for folios and running heads. This leaves me with the inside of the ruler guide to create my own grid. I tried doing this by hand and it seems to work fine however I was wondering is there a way to align the guides/grid (columns and rows) to the ruler guides instead of the margin or page? This would be extremely helpful as doing it by hand is quite the task. I'm trying to personally see how many rows and columns I can get in for a verstatile grid that can be used for different sorts of layout. (although I guess the grid could too many rows and columns) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How to create a new rule in Windows Firewall to permit some specific IPs and block all other computers

Hello,
I have a Win7 PC. I want to block all incoming connections except 3 or 4 IPs. How can i do this?
I created a new rule to block all connections using this steps:
Inbound rules > New Rule > Custom > All Programs > All Protocols / Ports > All Local/Remote IPs > Block the connectiion > All profiles > Then i gave a name
This rule works fine and blocks all incoming connections.
Then i want to create a new rule to allow specific IPs using this steps:
Inbound rules > New Rule > Custom > All Programs > All Protocols / Ports > Remote IPs: 192.168.10.5, 192.168.10.10 > Allow the connection > All profiles > Then i gave a name
But 192.168.10.5 and 192.168.10.10 couldn't reach W7 machine.
(If rules are disabled or FW is off; both IPs could reach W7 machine)

How did you check these two IP address? Through remote access? According to your description, it should only allow remote IP could access this computer. Please also allow local IP for test.

I am trying to create abusiness rule from eas console when I am choosing business rule >repsitory view > rules>new rule> select outline,
I am able to select a essbase database outline ,but while I am trying to select planning outline i am getting the following error

Then post the exp to AUC........
Then assign the settlement rule as Fixed assed and enter the Asset number and give % or amount....
Settle the IO through K088

Today, i know how to re-made this task.....
But my question is : how can transport this request, created in R3AR2, from Quality to Production ?
If the transport is not possible, the answer for the question is remake the request in Production ?

Did you put your development in a transport when you first saved it? If yes, and if your transport system is properly configured you can release the transport using SE09 and import it into the production using transaction STMS.

Thanks for your response. I have done as you said and now i can rise the exception.
I have another requirement as per the validation transformation the data will load into Pass table and Fail table after job execution. If any data entered into fail table i have delete the data loaded into Pass table.
Here i am facing problem as my target tables are MySQL tables and when i am writing scripts i wrote the script as
sql('database','delete from <tablename>');
but as it is an SQL Query execution it is rising exception for the query.
How can i delete the data loaded into MySQL Target table using scripts.
Please guide me for this error also

At product/category/sku level there is a property called template.
Find the property in ACC/BCC and provide all the values including the URL property.
In you jsp, you can use this property from product/sku like the way you retrieve any other property from sku/product.
<dsp:valueof param="product.template.URL" />
Using that property with <dsp:include> includes that page.
