To display a new bold line in script header.

I have header part in my script which contians LOGO.
Below the logo, I need to display a bold line say ' International cutter' as centered one.
Could you please say me how can I achieve this ?
Do I need to create a character for this ???

goto character format and see any character format is defined for picking up bold, to identify see any character format bold radio button is selected...
For example if your character format name for bold is B then use as shown below
,<B,>, International cutter ,<,/,>,
Note:PLease remove the commas while using it for displaying in this thread I placed commas

Make use of the FM "IQS0_ADD_NOTIFICATION_LONGTEXT".
This will append the new lines to the existing long text.
Make sure to put "X" for the import parameter "POST".

How to display values and new char line (blank line)

Hi,
In database, one field contains values followed by new character lines (blank lines) after blank lines there is no values. Finally, I would say the field contains values and blank lines. Every thing is fine in database.
In Crystal Reports the field is displaying only values. Need to display values and blank line.
User is asking after values new character lines (blank line) to be shown. They enter like that in an application. The user doubt is why report is not showing what they enter in the application.
In detail explanation, front end tool is ASP.NET and backend is SQL Server.
User enter some values in note field, after that they hit enter button in the same field, cursor will go next line...user may hit u2018enter buttonu2019 more than 5 times. So note field contain values and some blank lines which are created by after hitting enter button.
If user opens the application, they could see values plus blank lines in the note field.
They are fine with the application.
In Crystal Reports, the note field shows only values.
User is questioning that why we could not see in report we enter.
I checked in .Net application and SQL server database it is fine. It is displaying values and blank line.
Please help me out how to display values followed by blank lines in Crystal Reports - the way they enter in the application.

it is not exactly null values.
In .Net application it is called 'new char line'.
it shows those many lines look like null.
it is working fine in database.
Why it is not working in Crystal Reports? I am wondering...

User may enter any number of blank lines or they may not enter blank lines.
That is the reason I can not always give more height or blank text object.

Your code does well generate HTML like

BBut remember that browsers ignore newlines (and multiple whitespaces) in the HTML. You'll have to use
out.println("A ");
out.println("B");to produce a linefeed.

New page in sap script

Hello everyone.
I have a similar requirement. When printing a sales order, I need to always print a bitmap in the 2nd page. This means that:
If the order's line items can fit in the first page's main window, I want to have a two pages output, one page with line items and one page with the bitmap.
If the order's line items cannot fit in the first page's main window, I want to have three (or more) pages output, first page with line items, second page with the bitmap and the remaining pages with line items.
I have defined three pages: "first", "second" and "next".
"First" page has "second" page as next.
"Second" page has "next" page as next.
"Next" page has "next" page as next.
The problem is that when all line items fit in the main window of the "first" page, the "second" page is not triggered. How can I figure out that there will be only one page printed in order to trigger a new one explicitly as soon as the loop in the line-items' internal table finishes?
Can it be done with an 'IF &SAPSCRIPT-FORMPAGES& = 1' statement? If yes, where should I put it? I have tried it and it doesn't work.

Flash not displaying on my dreamweaver site(uploaded script folder)

Help! First I would like to apologize in advance if I am
posting this in the wrong place. I am new to this or really any
forum. I'm sure I'm typing this wrong and using improper verbage
when discribing the problem.
I am working on a site in dreamweaver and I am running into
a problem. Any flash I add to the site doesn't display at all when
I access the site from the web. When I test the site locally with
internet explorer it works fine. I searched through the forum and
saw the info regarding the AC_RunActiveContent.js file and I did
upload it.
When I access the site over the web I get an error at line 2
and line 164. Line 2 says invalid character (that line is blank)
and line 164 says object expected (see attached). I know the
problem lays somewhere in line 164 because if I remove it no flash
displays when testing the site locally.
Please help I can't use any flash buttons or run the news
flash ticker I just spent 5 hours working on!!

How many items can be displayed on the same line in APEX form?

I have 5 items that I want to display on the same line in a form, but the fifth item is displaying on the next line eventhough I defined it as "no" in Begin On New Line and "no" in ...Field. Is there a limmitted number of items that can be display on the same line? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks so much in advance.
I want the 5 items to be display like this,

But it is displaying,

If you define the 'Begin On New Line' property to 'No', it should work. I just tested it. Do you absolutely need to set the 'Begin On New Field' property to 'No'? That might change the facts.

Dynamically displaying a new region (row?) based on immediate user input

Whew, figuring out a title was almost as hard as trying to explain what I want to do!
Okay, a little background first.
My app has 178 main data fields, spread across about 35 tables. The users want to be able to search any and all data fields. So, I wrote a PL/SQL package that for each master record, loops through all of the child tables and creates (more or less) an XML file for each master record (which I store in a CLOB field). When any data in any table is changed, a trigger fires to re-update that CLOB field as well. I then used Oracle Text to create an index on the CLOB field, and now the users can search across all of the available information for each master record and get a list of which records contained what they were looking for.
So here's the first part of the problem. The app is a Mineral Occurence database for all mineral information world-wide. Say they enter "Brazil" as what they want to search for, they not only retreive all of the mineral sites in Brazil, but also all of the sites where one of the mining companies may be based in Brazil, or Brazil is one of the comments, etc. While this is the expected behaviour, it's still not quite what they expected (but they also don't want to get rid of this behaviour either).
So, since the CLOB field is already formatted with XML-type tags, what I want to do is to have an Advanced Search page, where the user can specify the table name to search, or the field name, or both. What I'd like to do is at the end of each line, have a select list with an "AND" or "OR' box, and if that gets a value, then dynamically create another 'row' underneath the first row, with the same three 'boxes' (actually select lists), and continue on until the user has specified exactly what they want to search for.
I would rather not have to create a whole bunch of regions or rows, and then determine at runtime whether or not to display them.
So i would have (using underscores as the boxes/fields):
Table to Search Field to Search And/Or
______________ _____________ _______Each of the above would be a select list.
Anybody have ideas on how I can accomplish this? Any Javascript or AJAX-type solutions that a dummy like me can easily implement? I've seen something almost similar on Carl's example pages to Hide/Show a region(?), but understanding the underlying code and then modifying it for what I want to do is extremely complicated (for me) at best.

Well, after searching through the QBE results (even some of mine), the only thing that comes close is Earl's (http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=36337:14). Actually his layout is almost perfect and pretty identical to what I want/need. Vikas' example seems like what I've toyed with on some other pages in my app, using a simple UNION ALL with nulled fields in the select statement, which won't work for what I need, at least I can't seem to visualize how I could incorporate that same code logic.
However, unlike Earl's, when/if the last column (which I'd have as the 'AND/OR' select list) is populated, I'd like to dynamically display another new row.
Now I know I could do it by making the last column a 'Select List With Submit', but that would neccessitate my creating about 25 regions (to hopefully cover the max any of the users would ever need), and then conditionally display the region based on whether or not the previous 'AND/OR' condition field was populated. It would also require a whole slew of page refreshes, which is clunky.
It seems like there should probably be a way with AJAX to accomplish something similar. I think I remember seeing something along these lines in the last year or so on here, but I can't find it.
Something like a cross-breed of Earl's example page above mixed with Carl's example at http://htmldb.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=11933:39:4740898821262791902::NO:RP:: which would automatically fire on the poplulation of the last select list is probably the best I can accomplish, unless somebody has some better ideas on how to do this. Using Carl's htmldb_remix code, I can avoid all the submits and the resulting page refreshes, but the code itself will take an old dummy like me a while to figure out.

I am getting that line already, my requirement i need that line as BOLD only. entrire frame has to be normal line and footer of bottom line should THICK line. all other lines, like vertical lines between columns and header line should be normal only.

KE30 Report not displaying value in element line , why ?

Dear COPA Experts ,
IN KE30 ,there is a line element displaying for main prodcut (Value field used is Qty ) ,in the Same way i have created new element line for displaying by-prodcut qty (value field used is Qty ) ,after report generated and executed ,but it does not displaying the qty value of by -prodcut . but when drilling down to line item ,this KE30 is displaying line items of by-Prodcut .
the cost elements groups used for both are different and when run KE24 i was able to see by-Prodcut qty .
Can any one suggest ,wehther i have missed any setting ?

According to your description, when you render data in report, you find it always shows the data with unexpected order. Right?
In Reporting Services, if we don't set any sorting in tablix, it will order the data as your query in SSMS or Query Builder. In some scenario, for example, we add parent group for data rows, it will have the rows sort by the group on data field by default,
and the "order by" in your query will be ignored. So please check the Sorting tab in Tablix Properties, in this scenario, we suggest you delete any sorting in the Sorting tab so that the "Order By" clause can work.

Are you using 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE' for displaying the header?
If yes, then I think it is not possible. Instead, use the events table to achieve it.
Use the 'REUSE_ALV_EVENTS_GET' FM to get all possible events and then modify
the events internal table to specify the form name to handle top-of-page event.

Subroutine program its display the text at line item as it's service order

Hi All,
Am looking for subroutine program its display the text at line item as it's service order, I want to view the text in sapscript in the tcode ME9F of the order text.
Ex:- in tcode ME23N, select PO & item details in Account Assignment tab, ORDER field is not displaying for some of the orders, but while debugging I can see the ORDER values.
Can'nt see the ORDER field in print preview, Pls let me know.

Hi,
If you are retrieving the values in the print program, the values will definetly get populated to the sap script. In case of subroutines in the form, the values you pass it to the structure ITCSY should be characters only.

Best way to display archived news stories?

I'm using the content editor web part to display a news story and then at the bottom of the story I have a link to archived stories. That takes you to a custom list with the remaining stories, but the view is the title on the left and the body on the right.
I'd like to have that list display the title on the top with a few lines of the story below it and have the remaining stories below that with the newest first.
Is a custom list the best way to do this? If so, how can I change the view so the title is on top of the story with just a couple of lines of the story displaying and remaining stories below that?

Oops, sorry. I am doing a copy/paste into the Content Editor web part. Then when I have a new story I'll copy that content into the custom list for the archive.
If I do content query for the archives. I'm just going to query the custom list?
Is there some way to have the "live" story write to the custom list automatically so I don't have to copy/paste it when a new story needs to be posted?
