To Display attachment

Hi All,
We have a requirement where we have to attach image to Workflow work item container. While doing so system creates one entry in ATTACHMENTS element of work item as a reference of business object SOFM along with its key. It means the attached object is stored in R/3 some where. I want to know the related tables and Function modules to extract this saved document.
We want to display this attached document in BSP page.
When we use the display method of Business object SOFM, system creates one new session and displays the image in that newly created session.
But as we want to display this in BSP page, is there any other Function module or some other way to do this.
Any Pointers in this regard are welcome.

The system won't boot in clamshell mode (power is connected, lid shut) with an external display attached via an Apple Thunderbolt->DVI adapter. it boots fine if the lid is open. It isn't the adapter or the display since my 15" MBPr mid-2014 boots up just fine connected to the same adapter and monitor. And this system used to boot like this just fine some while ago (probably before it was upgraded to Yosemite). I've reset the NVRAM (twice) to no avail.
Has anyone encounter this? Anyone have a solution? Should I try an SMC reset (always a bit nervous about that)? Might it be a driver issue in Yosemite?

how do you log into hotmail at work? via webmail interface? hotmail provides POP email access only when using an email clienet and you probably have Mail set to remove messages from server after downloading them. go to Mail preferences->account->advanced and check those settings. you can change them to leave messages on server or to remove them from server only when they are moved from the inbox.

You can use Event Receiver and create another list(ListA) to record your attachment link.
Maybe your process is:
Users add list items and attachments
List event will be fired
Use Event Receiver to get attachment url and then Write into ListA

20" Cinema Display w/ power switch, on ADC port
Acer 23" G23HL, on DVI port
I replaced my failing ADC with a new display (with much-appreciated help from this board!) Works fine as dominant display (currently not mirrored) but I need Cinema Display attached and powered up to run system. The Power Switch on tower lights, but won't shut down system, or start it without ADC attached. (It won't control system at all, only Power Switch on ADC works) Nothing in Preferences seems to apply. Should I just duct-tape new Display over old ADC and move on??? THANKS!

I was hoping I had overlooked some simple Preferance-type step in the change-over, but beyond maybe changing the old battery next, I'll just put one screen in front of the other- fortunately I've got room. Display attachment without showing pop-up List (CL_GOS_ATTACHMENTLIST)

That is I don't want the attachment list to pop-up.

but THEN I want to KILL the object Attachment List so that the pop-up never shows.

2 displays attached to 17" MacBook Pro?

Does anyone know whether it is possible to have 2 24" LED displays attached to the new 17" Macbook Pro?

I have a 15" macbook pro-late 2008 model with mini display port. I have a 30" ACD and a 23" ACD. Is there any way to run both screens at the same time? I have the dual dvi for the 30" currently running of the MBP.
You could use a Gefen USB to DVI Graphics Adapter for the 23", but it won't be fast.

Kernel panic when trying to use spotlight with external display attached

Having an issue with my fairly new MacBook Pro (purchased in April). When it's connected to an external display, I will get a kernel panic 100% of the time if I click on the Spotlight icon. The same also happens sometimes when clicking Documents or Downloads in the dock, but that is infrequent. This only happens with an external display attached and I have tried multiple external displays and cables. Following is the kernel panic report. As a first debugging step, try rebooting in safe mode:

and see if the panics occur then, though quite frankly it appears it may be an issue with your video card and/or drivers.

Won't start with thunderbolt display attached

Almost new 3.5 Ghz Intel Core i7 iMac 2014 SSD only, 32GB disk running 10.9.4. Absolutely will not start up from shutdown state with an additional 27" Thunderbolt display attached. Unplug the display, boots fine. Then plug in the display, all works peachy. Sleep is also broken and hangs on restart, except if you only sleep the displays, not the CPU then it always wakes up fine. This is pathetic, very Windows-like.
Suggestions?

10.9.3 and 10.9.4 have known issues with displays attached via Thunderbolt (for example see here Second display problem with 10.9.4 and 10.9.4 - Thunderbolt display for 6630M (Mini mid-2011) still broken ).

Why is there an arrangement button in Displays when I don't have an external display attached to my MacBook Pro?

I can't even get my pictures from iPhoto to my external hard drive I just bought.
Quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library to the external drive as an intact single entity - launch iPhoto while depressing the option (alt) key and point iPhoto to the new location - test the library fully and then delete the library from the internal drive
I'm about ready to just get a disposable camera and call it good.

My hard drive is so full I keep getting messages that it's almost full and won't work right if I don't delete something.
That is correct - you must have 10% or a minimum of 10GB of free space for efficient and safe operation

Maybe if you would give some details on what you are "trying" and what is "not working" someone could help - above is a specific answer to the specific question on how to move the iPhoto library
Not to mention, the CD drive has a disc in it that won't come out. I'm not anywhere near an Apple dealer, and my MacBook is under warranty, so I can't go anywhere but Apple.

Dynadock V Display attached hangs

Hi
Running Dynadock V with latest displaylink drivers. Laptop is Portege R700 Win7-64.
Tosh dynadock utility is v 2.4.0.14.64
Got it functioning fine; works well, but every 2nd day (roughly) the display attached to Dynadock hangs; just leaves whatever
was on display there but no control. For example if the mouse pointer was on Dynadock display it is still there but no movement. The pointer is active on the laptop display.
The laptop display is still fine and I can control the laptop fine, so R700 has not hung.
Only fix is to disconnect power from Dynadock (when I do, laptop sees no usb video device and switches all windows to
its internal display) and repower. Dynadock comes up OK and I move Window panes across.
* Is there a fix?
* If not it there a way I can force the dynadock to reset/reload via software/keystroke?

Solution. After messing around with this for way too many hours, I've found a fix. Maybe it can help someone else.
In Windows Explorer, I found the application that puts the icon in the tray. In my case (Windows 7) it was located at C:/Program Files/TOSHIBA/Dynadock_II/TosDockApp.exe. Double clicking that put the icon in the tray, but it would be gone the next time I rebooted.
It needed to be in the Startup folder. I'm guessing that once upon a time it was there and got removed for some unknown reason. (a Windows update?) Right clicked on the application, clicked "Create Shortcut," clicked Yes to placing it on desktop. Then used the Start button, All Programs, and found Startup in the list. Right click, Open. Maneuevered the window so I could see the desktop simultaneously, and dragged the shortcut from the desktop to the list of files on the right side of the Startup window.
This solution has survived one computer restart, so I'm hoping it will last.
By the way, copying the application and pasting it in the startup folder didn't work. I had to make the shortcut.
And Toshiba, if you're listening, I'm still ticked off. Someone in Customer Support should have been able to help me with this. Or it should have been on a troubleshooting page. I've been struggling to find a solution to this problem for months. It wasn't hard -- just not obvious to someone (me) who doesn't work with this software everyday.

Msi z77 mpower stuck in b2 when no display attached

I want to boot without having a display attached. post is stuck in b2. If I attach hdmi cable to display boots fine.
Updated to latest bios 17.7 - still the same ... Any pointers???

As far as I can recall, there is no way to stop the POST sequence from searching for either IGD or PEG graphics and still proceed to boot an OS. Graphics will be required to set up the UEFI/BIOS settings, boot device, and other housekeeping chores anyway. How are you going to load the chipset and other drivers? Once in the UEFI/BIOS and the graphics settings are disabled, it 'might' work as you want. Only way to tell if it is in the OS then would be the HDD LED or the mainboard DeBug LED showing AA, A0, or the CPU temperature depending on the UEFI/BIOS version.

Problems when cinema display attached to PowerBook

I have a new PowerBook G4 (15" stretch) with OS 10.4.5. I also have a new 20" Apple cinema display. When the display is attached to the PowerBook, I've noticed a host of problems, including: HP LaserJet 1022 (new) prints only about 50% of the time--requires restart to get it working; USB mouse and keyboard attached to the display freeze (although I can still move the pointer with the trackpad on the PowerBook)--requires restart to get them working.
The printer is plugged directly into the PowerBook's USB port. Nothing else besides the keyboard/mouse are plugged into the display's USB ports.
I've reset the power manager several times; I don't let the computer go to sleep, although I do let the screens go dark after 15 minutes. I've tried all the usual printer fixes short of resetting the print system.
The PowerBook and printer seem to work fine w/out the display; the printer works fine on another PowerBook.

I am experiencing the same problem with a Samsung Aquos 52" connected thorough a Onkyo receiver/amplifier. The connection is DVI to HDMI to Onkyo amplifier and HDMI-HDMI to the TV. The main 23" Cinema Display flashes during turning on an off of both of TV and the amplifier and even when the TV is off and the amplifier is on, unless you restart the computer, it would keep detecting a second display, the only solution so far was to unattach the second display DVI to HDMI cable from the computer. Otherwise, several freezes occur after several flashes of the cinema display and eventually either the dock o the whole screen would freeze...Anyone knows how to avoid this issue? Btw, my id card is NVIDIA GeForce 6600.

In Production client, Attaching originals to DIR, checking in to content server, saving of DIR is possible but when DIR is opened in change/Display mode, opening Attachment in display mode is giving the following error,
File C:\TEMP\_TEST02.doc cannot be opened

I think this error can be resolved, it might be the case of The content server in which you are trying to load the document is not Upright or not working at this point of time, check to upload some document through cv01n if this works fine, then
it might be the case there is lac of Authorization in Opening the file, or the file Path where it is trying to store is not Accessible.

Thunderbolt Display attached hard drive

I hope this isn't a completely stupid question...I just haven't been to the Apple Store to ask nor have I been able to find an documentation to confirm or refute this issue.
Will a hard drive connected to the Thunderbolt Display that is hard-wired to a network via the Gigabit port be available as a network drive even when my Macbook Pro is not attached to the display? Will they be similar to a network attached storage device or do they need a Mac to be attached in order to mount them?

Bought a TB display to use with my 2011 mbp last night. Hate that it doesn't have a power button.
Really hate that the usb implementation seems quite broken. I spend 95% of my time in Windows, and while the display functions, usb doesn't really. The apple usb keyboard i bought sticks, and my dell mouse hangs frequently. both are plugged into the display, but they work fine when plugged into the laptop directly. I also have a jabra usb headset plugged into the display.
I have noticed I can worsen the situation by actually using the display hardware. If I start a call using the headset, the keyboard and mouse become even worse. If I start using the facetime hd camera on the display, they become horribly erratic.
Apple definitely has some work to do. They are billing this is a docking solution and it is completely unusable as such right now.

Iphone notes won't display attached pdf

I can create a note with an attached PDF (dragged from a Finder window) on my Mac laptop (10.9.4). The note is synced through iClound and the attachment can be seen and opened on a second Mac laptop (10.9.4). On my iPad Air (IOS7) a paperclip symbol appears in the note. On my iPhone 4S (IOS8) PDF document symbol appears in the note. However, the attachment cannot be opened on either the phone or the tablet. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I don't believe a PDF can be displayed within the Notes app on iOS devices...probably because you can't attach a PDF to a note using iOS in the first place.
