To display output adjacent to each other

Question

Hi,
I'm trying to display the following pattern
1
1 2
1 2 3
but when i tried something like this:
declare
i number;
j number;
begin
for i in 1..3 loop
for j in 1..i loop
dbms_output.put_line(j);
end loop;
end loop ;
end;
i'm getting the output like this:
1
1
2
1
2
3
i'm trying with different ways, but couldn't achive the required pattern...could someone help me out! (in C, this 'd have been lot easier).
