To Tackle duplicate data while uploading through BDC

Dear All,
I am uploading data through BDC in HR for Infotype 2011. While uploading the data i want to check for data which is already available for same date & time and display error accordingly.
Kindly help me in this. Also is it possible to handle this by setting infotype charactertics to accept only single values or we can handle it through our code.

Hi,
The only characteristic that handle the availibility of record at one time is the time constraint indicator and won't be very usefull to you for a time event infotype. In your case you will have to check if the entry you are creating already exist in TEVEN table.

Hello absap,
if your requirement is an enhancement of a program that uses BDC to update OR populate a particular screen,
set your bdc mode to "A" to display the entire bdc processing.
you can basically find this in the line:
CALL TRANSACTION <command>
USING <bdctab>
MODE <mode>. <--- by defualt this should be MODE N.
the error that you have encountered is due to an UNpopulated REQUIRED field in the screen of the transacation or command you called in the BDC process.
you can easily trace this error by setting the mode to A to display the bdc process itself.
alternatively, if you are creating new program, revisit your bdc recording and check if all the required fields are being populated.
trick:
when you record in SHDB, open a new window of the transaction.command that you are going to use.
and from there, populate the fields specified in your requirement and by this, you should not miss any required field in you bdc.

Invalid cost category while uploading through RPRCCC_READ_KR1025

Hello,
While uploading Amex KR1025 feed through RPRCCC_READ_KR1025 system is not uploading some of the transactions and giving the error u201CInvalid Cost Categoryu201D. The Cost Categories as followsu2013 22, 16, 17, 15, 12.
The cost categories which are working fine is 04, 08, PA. I tried uploading 78 transactions, out of 55 has been uploaded successfully and there are errors u201CInvalid Cost Categoryu201D in rest of the transactions.
As per u201CAMEX APA KR1025 Commercial Corporate Card Data Feed Attachmentsu201D these cost categories showing as MIS codes.
Please let me know where I can configure these cost categories.

No, a control file will not remove duplicate data.
You would be better to use an external table and then remove duplicate data using SQL as you query the data to insert it to your destination table.

Error while uploading through webadi

Hi Group,
I am getting this error
SQL exception occurred during PL/SQL upload.
when ever I am trying to upload the Employee data through web adi. The employee number generation is automatic global and I am not including the employee number in the excel sheet.
I have refer to the doc on metalink 553025.1 which is not making much sense to me. Can any one please suggest what is going wrong

Issue with data while uploading data form cube 0COOM_C02

hi,
i am uploading data from infocube 0COOM_C02(costs cube).
the infocube receives the data from infosources 0COOM_CCA_9 and 0COOM_OPA_6.
While i transfer the data records from the infocube 0COOM_C02 to another Zcube of the same structure as the prior one via data mart.
isee that some of the data records are missing and the total costs for a costcenter is different in both infocubes.
has some has faced similar issue before??? are there any prerequisites before the data from costs cube 0COOM_C02 to be transferred to another cube via data mart.

Hello Scooby,
The number of records are bound to be less as there is a aggregation across request ids happening in the target z cube while in the lower cube the requests are not getting aggregated ..
Best and the only way to check is to use a query and check result sets by including and excluding the requids.

Error Messages While Uploading through LSMW

I was uploading a file containing around 30000 line items through lsmw by using a recording of the transaction ie01. The upload is quite slow and it gives me an error that the "EQUIPMENT COULD NOT BE BLOCKED" or "LOCK TABLE OVER FLOW" or "RUNTIME ERROR" What do these errors signify? What is the mistake i am making?

Problem with Changing Data while Import through Excel Sheet

Hi Experts,
I am new to SAP LUMIRA and I am facing an issue with it. Actually, I am importing the data for analysis from an Excel sheet into SAP LUMIRA. I am able to prepare the visualization in the first go. But If I am changing the number of columns in the excel sheet afterwards (that may occur in normal circumstances where data is dynamic) and then refreshing the LUMIRA dashboard, it fails. Please can you tell me about a possible mistake or is it really feasible when we change data afterwards and then refresh the dashboards once again.

Issue with clearing previous record while uploading through LSMW

Hi friends,
I have created lsmw for hiring action using transaction PA40. i have a tab delimited flat file, when i run the lsmw script the first record is uploaded perfectly. However the upload halts for the second record, coz the previous record still remanins, is there an issue with the recording or do i need to clear anything?. How do i resolve this one and continue uploading other records.

Hi Friend,
In the LSMW, Under the User menu you have Display Read Program and Display Conversion Program select this and open the respective program you feel having problem and put a break point in the Loop statement and debug. I will help you to identify the problem to resolve.

Manual BRS FF67 Through BDC

HI,
We are using the BDC program to upload the manual bank reconciliations statement for FF67 and when we are uploading the BRS the receipt entries are updating but the payment entries are not updating (For the past 5 years working fine but, June 2011 onwards not working)

We are uploading the bank statement through ZBank T code (This T code created by using the BDC Recording program)
After uploading the bank statement immediately we are going to FF67 screen and giving the inputs and in this screen BDC program will copying all the entries which we have uploaded through BDC
After this we are going to the SM35 and processing the batch input session, once we processes the batch input session immediately it going to the post with clearing transaction and in this screen we are giving the inputs company code and bank account and account type
At the time of doing the post with clearing system is giving the error message there was no batch put session.
outgoing and incoming payments (F-28,f-53)IN BDC WE HAVE TAKEN THE LOGIC Reference filed at the header level(Check number)and amount should match.
Error Message
No batch input data for screen SAPMF40K 8000
   Message no. 00344
Diagnosis
   The transaction sent a screen that was not expected in the batch input
    session and which therefore could not be supplied with data.
    Possible reasons:
    1. The batch input session was created incorrectly. The sequence of
    screens was recordly incorrectly.
    2. The transaction behaves differently in background processing in a
    batch work process than when running in dialog (SY-BATCH is queried and
    changes the screen sequence).
    3. The transaction has undergone user-specific Customizing and therefore
    certain screens may be skipped or processed differently, according to
the current user. If the person who created a batch input session is not
the same as the person now processing it, this problem may occur
frequently.
System response
None.
Procedure
    For 1: Either re-create the session or process it in expert mode.
    Correct the batch input program.
    For 2. It is very difficult to analyze this problem, particularly in the
    case that the screen sequence or the display-only options of fields
    differ according to whether the transaction is being processed in the
    background or as an online dialog. It could also be that this kind of
    transaction cannot run with batch input.
For 3: Have the creator of the session process it. If no error occurs
now, then this is a program with user-specific Customizing.

Rectangle size grows while uploading in server

hi all,
i put two table inside a ractangle. the two table has some data. while uploading the same in the server the rectangle size grows automatically but while checking in local it doesn't shows any problem. i am using ssrs 2008r2 for creating report. any
help for problem will be appriciated.

In SSRS, when we add tablix in a rectangle, the rectangle would automatically adjusts to the height of the tablix. However, the space white of the rectangle is invariant. We can adjust the rectangle size to fit the tablix to shrink the space area.

Hi,
See if you want to update only single table, which has User maintenance allowed
Use Modify statement.
EX:
LOOP AT ITAB INTO WA_TAB.
    MOVE-CORRESPONDING WA_TAB TO T499S.
    MODIFY T499S.
    CLEAR T499S.
ENDLOOP.
It will update the table, to check go to sm30 , and check in V_T499S.

Develop BDC program, Before Recording the Transaction sit with Functional Consulatnt for REcord The f-43.
After that that u can do ur coding and built ur own logic.
