Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches after installing new software or apps.

I posted this on another thread. See if this works:
1) Uncheck "Backup previous version" in Keynote's Preferences.
2) Make a duplicate copy of your file that has issues and save it.
3) If you still get spinning wheels from switching between apps after editing or 10 seconds of inactivity, manually save with command+s. It may beach ball here but be patient and wait for it to finish! Try editing and resume doing work now.
Command+s may be a bit slow but I think that might be normal since the files are so big.

You need to be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 at the very least in order to sync your iPad with iTunes so you could update your Mac, if it can be updated, and if you care to do so.
If that's not an option, you will have to find someone that can restore the device for you with their computer running iTunes or make an appointment at an Apple Store and ask them to restore the device for you.
I hope that you have an iCloud backup, because you will lose everything on the device when it is restored.

Also, I would not give up on the reset technique....holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. It takes about 10-15 seconds and sometimes just a little longer to get the logo to appear.

Is the phone in a case? Try taking it out of the case. If that doesn't work, then your proximity sensor is broken. You'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

Im using ReloadEvery 3.6.3 & Live HTTP Headers 0.16 plugin's for playin mobsters on myspace. After capturing the the script, editing & placing in the address bar I recieve a message: Failed Security. Well, it can be fixed, however it is in a very difficult spot, and it may cost me more to replace than what I can get out of it. I don't care to pay for a replacement since my warranty is up, because I already have an iPhone 5. I want to sell the iPhone4, and not for $75 either because you can't make a phone call unless its on speaker. I didn't know what other people had to say, so I just wanted some feedback on my options. I'm sorry that I am not an expert on the iPhone hardware componets, because I actually work for a living. I don't have time to sit here and play on forums. Thanks for all you're help.

I have called Verizon numerous times regarding these issues. They tell me to do different things that never help. We eventually did a factory reset and it still has the same issues. Help! It is a brand new phone and unfortunately I am in a new two year contract. Ugh. Is there anyone out there who can help me?

I have done that several times. In fact, every time I call Verizon with my phone problems, they have me do the same things repeatedly. IIS Website: Default Web Site
Port Number: 80
with default value for Web Application Name configured.
For SMS_AWEBSVC_CONTROL_MANAGER component, I am getting below error in Component Status:
Application Web Service Control Manager detected AWEBSVC is not responding to HTTP requests. The http status code and text is 400, Bad Request.
Possible cause: Internet Information Services (IIS) isn't configured to listen on the ports over which AWEBSVC is configured to communicate.
Solution: Verify that the designated Web Site is configured to use the same ports which AWEBSVC is configured to use.
Possible cause: The designated Web Site is disabled in IIS.
Solution: Verify that the designated Web Site is enabled, and functioning properly.
