Tomcat error while ant deploy (via manager)
I am getting the following error whenever I deploy or undeploy my jsp application using ant.
The error is :

The ant call I used for accessing tomcat manager:
<target name="start">
<start
path="/${application.name}"
url="${manager.url}"
username="${manager.id}"
password="${manager.password}"
/>
</target>
Id and passwords seem to be correct, I get the error above, however my application is deployed and there is no problem other than the annoying exception
Thanks...
But as of now we cannot change application. So is there any temporary solution to fix the issue.
FYI
I went through the BO samples Adding Report.jsp. Not helping for current scenario.

My issue is the following, when I use wsa adressing in my bpel process such as:

Error while reading deployment; Deployment problem
Hi,
I have written an ANT script that basically deploys a .war file to a remote
server. both the machines are UNIX based. Iam using wls8.1
My build.xml file looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
<project name="dev" default="all" basedir=".">
<!-- This is configurations for deploying an application on wls8.1 on win2000
machine -->
<target name="deploy-mailClient">
<wldeploy action="deploy" remote="true" source="../applications/proxymon/proxy.war"
name="

debug="t
rue" targets="TestMon"/>
</target>
</project>
But when iam running this script, iam getting this error:
ant deploy-mailClientBuildfile: build.xml

Please give some solutions..........this is urgent for me. I really appreciate
your time on this.
-sI believe you need to go into your config.xml and add
ClusterConstraintsEnabled="false" attribute to the Domain element.
ie.
<Domain ClusterConstraintsEnabled="false" ...
Let me know if that doesn't do the trick.

Thanks Rob. I also wanted to deploy an application to a cluster that would basically

fail if any one among these 6 is down......could be please recall and let me know
what is this parameter that i need to set so that even if there is any one/more
servers are down, still the Deployment could be achieved succesfully.
I really appreciate your advises on this .......thanks again.

i started the server ....and everything went fine.
Question: suppose i have a cluster of 6 managed server, then do i alsoneed to
have all my 6 managed server up and runnning so as to have the Deploymentcompleted
?By default, the deployment fails if any of the targets are not running.
I believe there is an option to force it to deploy even if some
of
the targets are not up, but I don't recall the option. It isn't usually
what you want.
Question: How can i target deploying an application to a cluster usingANT script
as in my build.xml file. i.e i wanted to target to a cluster ratherthan to a
single server.Just say targets="name of your cluster". If you're unsure of your
cluster's name. Search for <Cluster> in your config.xml and you should
find it.

I believe remote=true means that the files should be resolved on
the
server rather that on the local client. Basically it gives you away
to
pass a relative path in and have the server use that relative pathon
its file system.
It doesn't sounds like remote=true is what you want. If the
client/server share a filesystem (eg a network filesystem) then you
don't need to specify any options.
If you want the client's copy of proxy.war uploaded to the server,then
set upload=true

Error while invoking bean "presentation manager":
Hi,
BPEL PM version : 10.1.2.0.2
Scenario : I have a Process1 which tries to access Another Process Process2. Process1 has a PL for a Webservice (WS1) whose end point is Process2's endpoint.
For architectural reason's I need to keep both the processes independent and that's the only way I can call Process2 as I've no control of Process1 and can not modify it except changing the endPoint location for WS1.
First question will this work ? If no then is there another way of doing this ?
If yes then I'm seeing the error message posted below.
Please advice.

Process1 has a webservice that has http binding to call an outside servlet. I need to have another layer in between (Process2) that will call the Outside servlet. So it's Process1 calling Process2 and Process2 calling the outside servlet.
My hands are tied that I can't change the webservice in Process1 or modify Process1 directly (I don't own this and it's shipped as standard functionality) which calls the servlet and has http binding. How can I call Process2 from the same binding and what endpoint should I use for my process ?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks,

Single Sign-On Error while uploading file via WEBADI
Hello,
I am getting error while uploading the file via WEBADI. Below is the error message.
Error Message:
The Single Sign-On server registration is invalid. Please contact the System Administrator.
I noticed that this template is uploading data when I connect to Oracle applications and go to WEB ADI responsibility and create a new template.
In order to make this WEBADI work do I have to create a new template each time I upload the file?
Our goal is to use the same template, change the numbers and re load it.
Also, Is there any way I can go to login screen when I click on UPLOAD under ORACLE in excel. That way connection is established.
Thanks for the help.Hi, Actually NW Portal and SQL server has been installed on the same machine.
Now I am trying to add my SQL server as a JDBC system and checking the connections and I do not see a property under User Management.
When I try to connect to R/3 backend system "...Dedicated Application server" then I can see the property but not for the JDBC syste.
any clue how to get rid of the error and to check the connection.
Thanks in advance.

Error while opening MDM Data Manager
Hi,
We are getting the following error while trying to open Data manager on our repository.
"Error Initializing Attributes for table Taxonomy
Application will exit
Already exists"
mds Version 5.5.42.90
MDM DataManager Ver5.5.42.90
The repository loads without any errors. The server log file too doesnt show any errors.
Is there anyway to fix this?Go to your MDM console, Login to repository and Unload repository first.
Then load with Update Indices.
This problem comes when you change anything in schema in console and then load repository with immediate option.
So always prefer to use update indices as accelator files will get updated and data comes from actual database.
If the problem still persists then Go again to console and check your repository for any fatal error. if errors come then repair repository and if not come then also repair.
Then load with update indices.
Hope it will help you.

Alok

Error while installing Sun Access Manager
Hi All,
I am getting an error while installing Sun Java System Access Manager.The error is ns-slapd.exe is not responding.
How to resolve my error?
Thanks in advance.
regards,
Keets.The ns-slapd.exe process belongs to the Directory Server. You should therefore check if your DS instance is set up properly.

Passing values to global variables while running job via management console
Hi All,
I have a requirement, where I have to use HANA view with input parameters as source. I am doing the same by placing the HANA query for view with input parameters, in SQL transform and assigning values to placeholders using global variables. This is working fine at the designer level.
But where I am stuck is, it possible to pass values to global variables while running job in Management console or in a third party scheduler. Should I do any changes in the batch job to achieve the same ?
Please help me with the same and also let me know whether my approach of using Global variables to assign values to input parameter of HANA view is right?
Thanks,
DeepaSelect Batch > Batch Job Configuration > Add Schedule and Expand the Global Variables section in the Schedule Batch Job tab. You can then specify a value for all your global variables.
Alternatively, work with control tables and assign values to the global variables in an initialisation script.
