Tomcat not loading images with mod_jk
I have images stored in a database which when retrieved have the extension .tmp when I view these images using tomcat they are recognised as being jpeg or bmp files etc. and are displayed as images.
When the same images are viewed using tomcat through apache using the mod_jk module, the images appear as text.
If I try viewing the same images in apache on its own they appear fine. To repeat this, take a jpeg file and change its extension to .tmp place the file in a tomcat application, lookat the image using tomcat on its own //localhost:8080/myapp/myimage.tmp it appears fine, look at it using apache using mod_jk //localhost/myapp/myimage.tmp and it appears as text. Has anyone got any clue as to how to fix this.
I am using apache 2.0 with mod_jk 1.2.15 and jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28

Try emptying the cache on your iMac and iPad.
One the iMac with Safari open, press Command + Option + E on the keyboard. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
On the iPad. Tap Settings > Safari. Tap Clear History then tap Clear Cookies and Data. Restart your iPad.

Hi, i wonder if anyone can shed any light on this for me please. I use UK2.net webmail which i access through safari on my imac and ipad. For the last couple of days images have stopped loading with all my emails, (and won't load at all). I have tried firefox on the imac and this works fine, so it is definitely a safari issue. I have contacted UK2 and they have said that it's a browser issue not an issue with their server and that i need to contact Apple to see if they know what this is. Is anyone else having this problem or can anyone suggest a fix?

I wrongfully took for granted that issues in the More Like This box was platform dependent. I tried to apolgize accordingly, I would like to see the post deleted, but that doesn´t stop you from policing obviously.
And instead of arrogantly replying about matters irrelevant for this thread, maybe you should start reading more carefully yourself. The posts you are referring to are related to large images failing to load properly in Safari 7. This is not as you claim "vaguely related". Take this elsewhere if you have a problem with it.

You can use these steps to block images from a specific domain:
* Open the web page that has the images in a browser tab.
* Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
* Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
* Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
* Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
* If you want to block images then place check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" to block the images from that domain.
You can set the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions -

This is a known issue with the way Wordpress generates the URLs to included content:http://forums.adobe.com/message/4774943
Wordpress generates absolute URLs to content rather than relative URLs, so the current workaround is to either use relative URLs or, if that's not possible, modify the wordpress configuration to use the IP address instead of localhost.

Can't export 'Could not load image' in new photos app
Since upgrading to the new photos app I'm having trouble exporting photos within folders where it gives me the error 'could not load image' have tried running a repair on the library but no luck. In iTunes when I go to sync the folder it comes up with 0 which makes me think they could be corrupted somehow. Please help
For me this problem was caused because I moved my iPhoto library to a different hard drive before converting it to Photos. I solved this by doing the following:
1) Opened the original iPhoto library with iPhoto in the original location, and made sure the Photos/Movies that did not work were working.
2) In iPhoto, I chose File->Switch Library and chose the original iPhoto Library
3) I moved the library to the new hard drive
4) I held down the Option key while launching iPhoto
5) I chose "Other Library" and selected the original iPhoto library in the NEW location
6) Quit iPhoto
7) Open the Original library in the NEW location with Photos
After it converted the iPhoto library to a Photos library, everything seemed to work.
Steps 1 through 6 came from this article:

Firefox does not load images on any website. This has been a problem for years
It's not clear why. but only Firefox does not load images on web pages. Works fine on IE

no of it works. Never has. I see this problem all over. It's the main reason that users don't switch to Firefox.Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"

Safari is loading webpages extremely slow and not loading images...
Not loading webpages a lot of the time and not loading images on sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. I'm new to Mac and I'm running Safari on a Mac Mini. Help? Also deleted ~/Libraries/Safari and it didn't work.
Please answer as many of the following questions as you can.
1. Have you restarted your router and broadband modem since you first noticed the problem? If the answer is no, do that now and see whether there's any change.
2. Are any other web browsers installed, and are they also slow?
3. What about other Internet applications, such as iTunes and the App Store?
4. Are there any other devices on the same network that can browse the Web, and are they also slow?
5. If you can test Safari on another network, is it slow there too?
6. If you connect to your router with Wi-Fi and you can also connect with Ethernet, do that and turn off Wi-Fi. Any difference? -
Set browser to NOT load images or videos to reduce data usage
On the Bold 9900 I could tell the browser to NOT load images or videos. This helps dramtically reduce data usage when all Im interested in is the text of articles.
The Reader mode is not the same since the page with all its content has already been loaded.
I also find the Reader mode often results in a message that this page cannot load in Reader mode.Sorry I misunderstood, although I do understand what you're saying. I received a notification saying that I was being charged by my service provider due to overlimiting my data usage. I then telephoned telus and I was told it is simply the type of phone that is now able for a 4g network and so on. This being said, the phone store also checked my phone to see if I had any apps still open that I was unaware of. I not use facebook on phone but was told that that is a big hog of data. Anyways, it was also suggested that I use wi-fi wherever possible. I found al this to be unknown to me as on my other BlackBerry phones, I had never gone over my little bit of 750mb ever. Now with this phone, 4 days before cycle ends, it's suggested to buy 3 g just "to be on the safe side". All said, I may or may not be able to reduce to 1.5 g. This classic phone requires extra data just to simply be connected to a network is what the telus provider and the store clerk both tell me. sorry I could not provide definite answer for you.

I removed the package and deleted all configurations and caches.then install it but that did not fix it.
I tried it on Firefox. it is working well.
I don't know if this is a bug with chromium or there is something wrong in my configuration.it is working now.

Mail will not display images with .jpeg extension. .jpg works fine. (displays in place when opening the email. What plug-in would correct this?
If you think you're insane now, try maintaining those pop up menus.
As far as I know, these menus have not been updated since FW 8, so
they are at least two versions old.
Save yourself a lot of grief by avoiding those menus. There are many
other products on the market which do a much better job of creating
and maintaining this type of navigation structure.

Loading images with different horizontal sizes
I would like to load images with different horizontal
resolutions (vertical resolution to be the same) dymanically into
an empty movie clip. I would like them to load with the right hand
side of the image lined up with the right hand side of my site. I
have seen many tutorials about how to accomplish the loading of the
movies, but I cannot figure out how to make them open with the
right hand side always lined up on the right.
To be more specific, let's say I have three images of the
varying pixel resolutions (1200x600, 800x600, and 400x600 for
example). I would like the horizontal size to always extend away
from the right hand side of the site with the right hand edge of
the images always lined up.

clip takes on the dimensions of the loaded content. The
registration point for the clip is set to the upper left corner.
So, once the new image is loaded, just set that clip's .x to the
stage width - the width of the clip.
