i am succesfully running my code in tomcat under Java home with j2sdk.1.3.1_12.but moment i changed Java home to j2sdk1.4.2_07 tomcat stop working .its giving in following error messages in catailna.out

Your code is not running at the server (Tomcat) but at the client (the browser).

There's no really good way to do what you want. Sharing files safely among users requires a client-server setup. What you should do is keep separate copies of the files in each account and pass copies back and forth. So you and your wife each have a copy of a spreadsheet. When she makes a change, she makes a copy and puts it in the Dropbox folder of your home folder. You make a copy of that copy and add it to your files.
Otherwise, the best practical option would be to put the files on an external drive and check the box labeled Ignore ownership on this volume in the Finder Info window. Alternatively, you could put the files on a disk image and do the same thing, but then the disk image won't be backed up by Time Machine while it's mounted. Another option is to set access-control lists for the files, but that's an advanced technique. If you want to try it, use an application called "Tinker Tool System" to manage the ACL's.

Streaming problems and some other questions

1) i've read that some people have problems streaming youtube as well as me. but mine is terrible, i can't stream at all. my curve 8900 can barely stream with wifi.......why is this? is there any updates? ALSO, i have version 4.6, can i update this to a more recent blackberry version? if so, where? thank you! x p.s. i just tried with wifi now, and it doesn't stream at all, it says i may have either javascript turned off or old version of adobe flash player........
2) can we not have adobe flash?...because i can't stream any video off any website...
3) through an e-mail i was sent a pdf file and i opened it and i'm not sure if i saved it. if i did save it, where could it be stored? i've looked everywhere!
4) under 'setup' there is an 'interactive' button. what i that for?
5) BLUETOOTH PROBLEM: i've paired it and tried (when to media and done the 'recieve using bluetooth') and it didn't work. so i deleted the pair and tried it without, and still nothing. i've tried fixing some options in settings but still nothing...i think i played with the options a bit too much now...lol. but is there an ideas? please help. also, is there anything in options that i have changed which might be hindering the process (i.e. firewall)?
p.s. i read both manuals that came in the both and the help they provide is all common sense!...they need a more detailed manual in my opinion. Also, is there a number i can call for support/help for my questions regarding my 8900?

Many possible reasons -- poor coverage area, old OS, trying to use the full YouTube rather than their mobile site, etc.

No. Flash is not available for BB's at the present time. I'm pretty sure that your "any" words are overstated -- perhaps the sites you try cannot stream, but there are others who can stream, so any is a bit over the top.

Just send yourself another attachment...then pay attention when you save it, then go there and that should be the same place that older PDF should have gone.

Same problem as some others, can't install iTunes 10.6.1 on WIN 7 64-bit !

After deleting all apple components from my system, the installer each time shows the error message, that it's not able to finish the installation cause a required program doesn't work correct. The installation on the same computer (Virtual PC WIN XP 32bit) was no problem. Pleas help, if possible

Perhaps let's first try updating your Apple Software Update.
Launch Apple Software Update ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"). Does it launch and offer you a newer version of Apple Software Update? If so, choose to install just that update to Apple Software Update. (Deselect any other software offered at the same time.)
If the ASU update goes through okay, try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the errors this time?

Hi, I have recently upgraded my video card, Ram, motherboard and Hardrive. My motherboard is a MSI KT6 Delta-FISR and I brought 2x512mb pc3200 Vdata Ram chip, a Seagate 80GB SATA Hardrive, ATI 9700pro, and a Thermaltake SILENT PUREPOWER SERIES TT-420AD W0009RAC 420 watt power supply. I orginally purchased an ICUTE 400 watt PSU which proved insufficent for my system(or so I thought). a week or so I posted a topic asking about what new PSU I should get(becuase of my crappy ICUTE PSU) and was told that the Thermaltake PSU I was considering buying should be sufficent for my needs. Now thats all well and good(thanks for the advice guys ) but I am now expriencing exactly the same syptoms i had with my ICUTE PSU.
The voltage on the shiny new Thermaltake PSU is as follows:+3.3V@30A;+5V@40A+12V@18A
The voltage on my shiny new(but crappy) ICUTE PSU is as follows:+3.3v@28A;+5v@40A;+12v@18A
Very similar I know, but I presumed that because ICUTE isn't exactly the best brand around they were in someway lying about the Amps avilable. So I take my Thermaltake PSU out of its box looking foward to finally getting my newly upgraded computer NZ$1000 later, working.
Alas it was not to be. Screw in the PSU, connect all the connecters to the drives/video card/motherboard and finally plug it into the power cable and press the power button on the case. The computer powers up fine( and also A LOT quieter than the ICUTE PSU) and runs the POST screen. Goes through all of that crap and then starts to load the windows setup. Setups first screen flashes for 1 second then the computer turns itself off. OOOOOO DEAR! EXACTLY the same syptoms as the ones I experenced with my ICUTE PSU.
Now before I had brought my new Thermaltake PSU I had tried two other PSU's.
Now bear in mind these are fairly generic cheap PSU's
First one I tried was a 300watt Hynea(i think!) PSU which had about 14A on the 12v rail and predicably It did the same thing as my ICUTE PSU.
Second psu was a "Olympics" 320watt PSU. Now very very strangly this PSU which had 12v@16A;5v@30A;3.3v@28A Ran my system fairly stably for about 3 days( having problems with XP setup, and still am so I could only run 95,98 on it) but the fact is it ran of for about 3 days then Started turning off every 10 seconds like the others.
Now what I'm really hoping is that someone can tell me what the hell is going on with my machine!Computer runing on low spec 320watt PSU's and not on much higher spec 420watt PSU's, this could only happen in a crappy country like NZ

hi all, Well I ran memtest-86 for 17 hours! and got these results:

So those are the results. But im wondering if I was meant to run the test for so long cause 6 hours into the test it had NO errors. I could of left the test going for even longer but I got sick of waiting. How do you know when its finished? Also does the test scan only RAM cause it says on the chart:

And there are certainly not that many sticks of RAM in the computer.I'm not familar with memtest so could someone please explain these results.
Note: I took the RAM out of my machine and ran them in another computer.

Try to restart your phone by holding the sleep/wake and home buttons until the phone turns off ignoring the slide to power off message. Then press the sleep/wake button to turn it back on.

Some problems using some Matlab functions

I have some trouble with MathScript when i want to use some MATLAB functions in it such as unique or histc. (i'm using windows 7 and LV2010 SP1)
These functions are theoretically supported by MathScript insofar as they exist in MathScript Documentation but they return an error. This error explains that my matrix sizes are invalid but when we are doing exactly the same process with the same matrix in MATLAB, it ends well.
So I checked the two MATLAB and MathScript documentations in order to see if there is a difference between the same functions. It is proving to be the same functionning in MathScript and in MATLAB so I am a little lost.
In order to show you a concrete example :
If we have a X matrix equals to (77 77; 88 96) and we are doing unique(X). The result is supposed to be (77 88 96) but mathscript returns an error.
On the other hand, if X is not a matrix but a vector, unique ends well but i'm not interested in using some vectors (because it is exactly the same kind of problem with some others functions using only matrix).
I could use a matlab node script but in this project, we would to avoid the use of a Matlab Licence.
Do you have some idea in order to fix this kind of problem

Currently, the unique(X) in MathScript can accept vector input only. It reports error when X is a matrix. As a workaround, you can use
unique(X(:))
instead.

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?!

I have a user who's Active Directory password is going to expire. I had her reset her password by going to apple > system prefs > user > and clicking change password. I had her change her password via the kpasswd command in terminal and that changed her password on the server sucessfully however the laptop has FileVault on it. Filevault is not recognizing the new password just the old password.
I have deleted the keychain which didn't resolve and now I am going to decrypt and reencrypt the drive. I'm hoping this is an isolated issue I have over 25 laptops configured like this.

I "think" the trick was unbinding and rebinding the computer account.
After unencrypting and trying to reencrypt Filevault would still not take the new password.
Rebooted the prompt to update the keychain appeared. Updated the keychain. Filevault would still not take the new password.
Unbinded and rebinded the computer account. It worked and let me add the user to filevault.

How do I get flash to stop looping? (And some other problems too)

I'm brand new to flash so cut me a little slack...
I'm in the middle of building a website in Flash CS4 in Action Script 3.0 and (according my the tutorial I'm using) I need to access the "parameters" panel. The problem is I don't see it anywhere. I see "properties" and "filters" but to parameters. I've cycled through all the workspace presets but with no luck. How can I bring it up??
Also, even though I used the "stop();" code in the beginning of my actions frame my movie just keeps looping when I test it. What am I doing wrong?
I've attached the file I'm working on, maybe there's some other problem as well..?

to see the parameters panel drag a component (like the flvplayback component) onto the stage. a parameters panel should appear.
if you have no compiler errors and your swf plays past a stop(), you have other code that's executing after the stop() causing your timeline to advance.

You're not confusing this with a shared Photo Stream...?
Because the short answer is no, photos don't appear unless they were put there by someone with your Apple ID credentials. To rule out that possibility, change your Apple ID password by carefully following all these instructions:
iCloud: Change your iCloud account password
If you decide to change your password, and you also want to change your Apple ID, I recommend you do not concurrently change your Apple ID until sufficient time has passed and you are confident the password change has been effected on all your iOS devices. 24 hours ought to be more than enough.
It is not necessary to change your Apple ID unless it is an email address you no longer wish to use.

Everytime I check for updates (I have the setting to manual check), an alert pops up in Apple store with the phrase "Lexmark Printer Software Update 2.11" available for download.
Is there a way I can turn off this notification for Printer updates until it is resolved? It is pretty annoying.

A contract-free phone is not the same thing as an unlocked phone.
If you purchase it through a carrier, it will very likely be locked to that carrier.
In the US, Apple stores, and only Apple stores, sell unlocked phones. The same may hold true in Canada.
Also keep in mind that warranty service will only be available in the country where you purchased the phone (Canada) and you will have to either send it to a friend/family member to get it repaired or make the trip yourself. Apple will not accept a shipment from outside the country of purchase.
Finally, while an iPhone from one country will generally work anywhere in the world, you may find that you do not get 4G speeds/full compatibility with a network outside of the country of purchase.

How do I roll back to my previous version of firmware?, and is that the only way to fix this problem, or has linksys offered any support?

Bizarre problem - port 80 & some others blocked in...

I've been suffering from a very odd problem for the last week.
Without warning (or any changes on my end) I lost connectivity on port 80 both in and out of my adsl modem.
So no web access outbound and no access inbound to the small website I host. Port 80 on the modem is forwarded so that's not the inbound problem.
Various other ports do work in and out (e.g. SSH, FTP, SMTP, POP and some higher numbers too) but 8080 and 8081 are also blocked (inbound at least).
It doesn't appear to be the modem as I've reset it to factory settings and get the same behaviour and also replaced it with a brand new modem.
Equally I can't understand how it could be in the exchange either as surely that's not port-dependent (unless there's some very weird port-misconfiguration on an SBC or similar).
Anyone heard of this sort of problem before?
