Toplink 9.0.3 can't compile examples with Weblogic 7.0 SP4

Hi,
i want to test the Toplink Examples with Weblogic but i get compilation errors all over. Can somebody help me out ?
I use the Bea JDK 1.3.1_08 with a Weblogic 7.0 SP 4 Server. Here is the output of the compilation :

thx,

TopLink does not have anything specific to a particular JDBC driver or version built into the JAR.
TopLink 9.0.3 ships with a version of HSQL and places that version's JAR file on its classpath. If you wish to use another version you will need to edit the workbench.cmd or workbench.sh script to replace the existing HSQL JAR file with the one from the version you wish to use.
The entry that references the HSQL jar is "%TL_HOME%\HSQL\lib\hsqldb.jar".

  • Can not compile php with "-with-oracle=/usr/local/oracle"

    I work on Linux engine with a x86_64 architecture and use Oracle 10g 10.2.0.1 client for x86_64 linux
    so - when i try to compile php with the oracle argument (-with-oracle=/usr/local/oracle) i get everytime the same error:
    checking Oracle version... configure: error: Oracle needed libraries not found
    I think, maybe i have a problem because configure not found my "64 bit libraries"...
    Can someone help me? I am realy helpless...
    thx

    Did you really want the obsolete "oracle" driver - why not use --with-oci8?
    The user comments in http://www.php.net/oci8 have some good info on 64bit configuration.

  • Can't compile client with client.jar

    I am unable to compile a static client using the standard client.jar produced by
    Weblogic. I am trying to do this in a minimal DOS environment as shown below:
    set PATH=d:\jdk1.3.1\bin
    set classpath=.;client.jar
    javac OssNodeWeblogicClient.java
    The compiler gives me the following error:
    client.jar(com/nyiso/oss/ossnode/OssNode.java):2:
    class OssNode is public, should be declared in a file named ossNode.java
    (source unavailable)
    1 error
    I was surprised to find two java files in client.jar (OssNode.java and OssNodeFactory.java).
    These files seem to confuse javac. If I remove these files from client.jar, the
    compilation completes without errors and the client runs without any problems.
    Has anyone seen this problem?

    Naresh,
    Just a quick follow-up. I used the -verbose option with
    javac and saw that when my compile failed, and I saw the same
    error message that you saw, javac was pulling the .java file
    from the jar file and trying to compile it. In the example I
    did that worked, the javac compiler was pulling the .class file
    from the jar file instead.
    Basically the javac compiler will fail trying to compile
    the .java file located in a jar file, probably because it can't
    write the .class file to the same (compressed) location. The
    reason that the javac compiler is trying to recompile the .java
    file, even though the .class file is also in the jar file, is
    that it has determined that the .java file is more up to date.
    So two questions for WebLogic:
    1) Why does WebLogic include the .java files in the jar
    file?
    2) Why doesn't the .java file match with the .class file?
    I'll let you know if/when I hear more. Rob

  • Can't compile JSPs with Forte 4

    I upgraded to forte 4 CE. Now I cannot compile my JSP's because they are not finding my class files.
    They all worked in Forte 3 ce.
    If I have class MyClass()
    and try to create an instance in my JSP
    MyClass mc = new MyClass()
    It gives the 'cannot resolve symbol' error on MyClass object.
    What happened? I haven't changed anything. I have about 10 jsps and a bunch of Classes that all worked and now don't.
    I checked the product support for Forte and couldn't find anything.
    If anybody else had this problem and figured it out please post your solution.
    Thanks.

    i am having the same problem using my "homemade" class with forte.
    I have all of the .java and .class files and even have a .jar file but it still cannot find them
    could you please give me more details on how you reached your solution?
    where did you place the files so that forte found them?
    any and all help is greatly appreciated.

  • Can I integrate BPM with WebLogic Portal virtual content repository?

    For example, when there is a new added node in WebLogic Portal virtual content repository, the workflow triggerd, and start a workflow instance on that node.
    May be the node is a document, I'd like the document have a complex approval process.
    My question is, there are many nodes so many workflow instance after I added many documents, so how can I know which node is combined with which workflow instance? May be in workflow process ,I'd like to get and set the node metadata or something else with the WebLogic Portal virtual content repository, how can I process data between BPM and WebLogic Portal VCR?

    With regard to inline editing with Content Presenter in WLP 10.2, you should know that this "feature" is simply an example of how you might author advanced display templates.. The sample application for Content Presenter has a display template which is used to allow this inline editing. The template is just a sample and source code is provided. For your purposes, you can author your own display template which can provide inline edit even if Library Services are enabled. You'll probably want to enable version preview and approval to the template as well. It's a little more work, but certainly possible.

    When I went to run startPetStore.sh with a completely fresh install, I got the

  • I can' t compile Stratus example from Adobe sample...

    Hey guys !
    First, please sorry for my bad english, I'm french and it's a pain to explain this kind of problem in foreign language...
    I 'm trying to compile the example code found in Stratus sample (the audio/video chat), but I think some package are missed because Flex found a lot of error. Flex tell me that I'm trying to use some class or properties that doesn't exist...
    Here the list of the missing elements :
    - NetStreamInfo
    - Microphone.codec
    - NetStream.DIRECT_CONNECTIONS
    - Microphone.encodeQuality
    - NetStream.farId
    - Microphone.framesPerPacket
    - NetStream.info
    - NetConnection.nearId
    - NetStream.peerStream
    - SoundCodec
    I 'm using Flex Builder 3.02 (downloaded from the link at the bottom of the stratus' presentation page).I have my Stratus Key, but the problem is not here because I'm unable to launch the compilation...
    Where can I find the class / package I need ?
    In other terms, how can I compile the stratus example with no error.
    Thanks a lot !

    you probably forgot to set the minimum Flash Player version to 10.0.0 in the Flex build settings.  open the Properties for your Flex project, go to the "Flex Compiler" property, and in the "HTML wrapper" section's "Require Flash Player version" enter 10.0.0 in the boxes.  that will enable the compiler to recognize Flash Player 10 APIs.

    Can anyone help me with a problem i am having with my music on my iPhone 4S. I have put alot of Compilation CDs in my library on iTunes. I download these tracks onto my phone, everything is ok so far. Now, this is what is niggling me and I don.t know how to resolve it. This is my problem:
    Have downloaded for example: Queen – Bohemium Rhapsody from a compilation album as well as a few complete Queen Album CDs into the iTunes library and then put them into playlists,
    When I go onto my phone and select Queen on the MUSIC app using Songs tab at the bottom of the screen it will display all Queen songs and their resective Alum pics, that is all those not in a complilation album, .
    If I know the song title I can select the songs tab and find the song that way,
    I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the iTunes app by going to ‘get info’ tab and trying to sort the problem out that way but am not having much luck.What I want the phone to do is show, for example all Queens songs including those in compilation albums. Can this be done, would be grateful for any ideas on how it can be done, that is if ic can be done, any ideas
    Thanks for your help

    Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

  • I can't compile applets

    Hi. I am very new to JAVA. (I just downloaded the compiler last night.)
    I really need help. It seems anything that is suposed to be an applet, I can't compile. I can't even compile the example applet for the "Hello World!" program in the "First Cup of Java" section!!!
    I've followed the instructions as I'm told, and keep getting this:
    Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/tools/javac/Main
    I can however compile applications. WHAT IS GOING ON!
    Please help me.
    ~Bewildered

    Hi - I just learning Java and think I can help (at least i'll try).
    Save all you work on your desktop:
    Start Notepad
    type the following:
    Programmer: Type Your Name
    Date: Type whatever date it is
    Program: Simply Type the item in between brackets, without brackets: (Test1)
    import java.applet.*;
    import java.awt.*;
    public class Test1Applet extends Applet
    public void paint(Graphics g)
    g.drawString("I hope I get an applet on my screen!",15, 30);
    ...And Save As: Test1Applet.java - MAKE SURE YOUR ON YOUR DESKTOP
    Then go to File, New (Still using the Notepad application).
    Type:
    <Applet Code = "Test1Applet.java" Width = 400 Height = 200>
    </Applet>
    Then Save As: Test1Applet.html - MAKE SURE YOUR ON YOUR DESKTOP
    Finally go to the console mode... otherwise known as the Command Prompt. You can go to Start Button on the statusbar click on "Run", type cmd and hit enter.
    Once there you need to type: path = OK...At this time you must locate the complete path/drive where you downloaded the Java packages. Once you locate the entire drive (exam: c:\jbuilder3\java\bin) you must type in: path = drive you put the jbuilder,etc, etc in and hit enter.
    You shouldn't see anything, but just another line waiting for you to enter something. That something you must type is: javac
    Javac tell the os to call on Java language. You know get ready to compile. You'll then see a whole bunch of stuff, don't worry it simply computer veribage.
    If no errors have occurred you then type:cd and drag and drop one of the files you saved to the desktop. Before you hit the enter key make sure to remove the file name and then hit enter.
    Then you must type: javac Test1Applet.java and hit enter
    Finally you must type: appletviewer Test1Applet.html and hit enter.
    You should get an applet on your computer. Let me know how it turns out or whether I confused you even more.

    I assume these are why i can't compile... I don't find these
    fonts in the list of styles i have used... how do i find if these
    have been utilized? What are my options for fixing this issue? and
    why suddenly is this happening... I had no such problem last year
    when I compiled this same file.
    Thanks,
    kb

    Today, I discovered that creating a whole new RH for Word
    project is an unnecessary step. I did the following, and it fixed
    the error of any fonts being marked as "longer than 31 characters"
    by the WinHelp compiler.
    1. Just in case, I made a backup copy of the offending source
    doc(s) somewhere else on my PC.
    2. In the RH Explorer window, I deleted the offending source
    doc(s) from the RH for Word project.
    3. I performed
    File > Import > Document
    to reimport the offending source doc(s).
    4. I made a change to the reimported source doc(s), and then
    I saved this change. If I later want to back out this change, it
    must be deleted out, NOT backspaced out. This means your cursor
    must be moved to another location in the source doc before you
    remove the change.
    For example, I add my own initials somewhere in the source
    doc, save the source doc, and then I move my cursor to the
    beginning of my initials, and use the Delete key (NOT the Backspace
    key) to remove my initials from the source doc. Of course, at this
    point, I save once more.
    5. I recompiled, and checked the Error Wizard log to be sure
    the problem is fixed.

  • I can compile objects with SQL dev tool but not with a direct sql

    hi,
    This is a bit weird - I'm probably not familiar enough with Oracle's compilation process...
    I'm creating a some functions / procedures / triggers. When I run the script to create them with Oracle's SQL Developer tool, usually they become immediately valid, and if not then I can manually right click them and choose Compile, and they're compiled correctly and become valid.
    However, when running them with command line tools, they're uncompiled after created. I'm trying compile them with
    ALTER PROCEDURE / FUNCTION / TRIGGER MySchema.MyFunction COMPILE;
    and it always returns
    Error starting at line 1 in command:
    alter function MySchema.MyFunction compile
    Error report:
    SQL Command: alter function
    Failed: Warning: execution completed with warning
    alter function MySchema.MyFunction succeeded.
    and the object remains uncompiled / invalid.
    also tried with DBMS_... utils and got the same results.
    Same with adding things such as PLSQL_WARNINGS = 'ERROR:ALL' to the stmt
    But when I go in SQL Developer to the object, right click and click Compile, it compiles fine w/o warnings / errors and becomes valid.
    Is there anything else I should run other than this alter..compile? Is SQL Dev tool doing something different than "alter function ... compile" when right clicking and object and clicking "Compile"?
    thanks!

    hi,
    I'm having difficulties connecting with SQL Plus, since it seem to require at startup some admin user/password, which I don't have at the moment. Also tried to give it in command line the db name and params and it still require this pass... Will try to get it...
    But again, when I'm right clicking the object in SQL Developer and click Compile, it compiles fine and becomes valid. After doing that, running
    alter function mySchema.MyTestFunction compile;
    passes with
    "alter function mySchema.testfunction succeeded"
    If I run this sql before doing compile with SQL Developer, it fails with what I posted before.
    I wonder if SQL Developer does things other than the above compile stmt.
    If I right click on Functions in SQL Dev and click Compile All or Compile Invalid, I can see the sql it about to generate, and it's the same as I tried - and fails as well... Only when right clicking the object and Compile it works...
    A test func I tried, for example:
    create or replace
    FUNCTION testFunction(n in number)
    RETURN NUMBER
    IS
    BEGIN
    RETURN n + 1;
    END;

    The only suggestion I have at this point is to get rid of the spaces in
