TopLink is a strict POJO O/R framework ! Hibernate not ;-)

An interesting article published on TheserverSide recommends that a O/R framework must comply with the following rule "In order to Be has POJO, has class must strict support object identity by operating directly one heap, cannot operate one system resources, and cannot give system concerns."
TopLink POJO is the only product to comply with this rule !
Hibernate & OpneJpa do not respect it; -)

  • Error :  java:6: package com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework does not exist

    Hi All,
    I am using BO XI R2 version.
    I am facing issues with BOE Java SDK web application.
    In this application, I have just by-passed login page(jsp page) and logout from BO. But, it is throwing errors as mentioned below:
    Generated servlet error:
    E:\BusinessObjects\Tomcat\work\Catalina\localhost\_\org\apache\jsp\BO_005fHello_005fWorld\login_jsp.java:6: package com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework does not exist
    import com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework.CrystalEnterprise;
    Application gives errors for these two packages:
    package com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework
    package com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception
    Can anyone please tell me the solution?
    From where I can get the jar files to resolves these problems?
    I tried to search these jar files in BO installation folder but was not able to get.
    Can anyone tell the exact folder path for these jar files, if it is there.
    Or any link to download jar files.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello ,
    -In order to run your application, please copy the Business Objects JAR files from the installed location.
    -For example : If you have installed Business Objects on C:
    then , go to the path :
    C:\Program Files\Business Objects\common\3.5\Java\Lib and copy all the Jar files from that location including JAR files that are present in the external folder.
    -Paste these JAR files inside lib folder of your application.
    -The class com.crystaldecisions.sdk.framework comes under cesession.jar
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    I am running with nw7.3 sp04.  This wizard was running perfectly fine. But it has stopped working from last 2 days.
    I have created some coponents and added dependecies on it. Then I have restarted my java system.
    From that moment configuration wizard started throwing exception.

  • MyFaces 1.2.2 app fails with "Resources framework is not initialised"

    I did google around for this, but I can't find a clear solution to this.
    I was previously playing with an app using MyFaces 1.1.5 and got to a certain level of success. I'm now trying to build an app for Tomcat 6, using MyFaces 1.2.2. I added all the elements that I think are required, and that I can find examples for, but when I try to start the app, I get the "Resources framework is not initialised, check web.xml for Filter configuration" error.
    I'm not using Tomahawk, as I thought that wasn't required. Am I mistaken on that?

    The only reason I posted here is because I found nothing useful in the docs, and my question about this on the myfaces list didn't get any response. In any case, I've decided that there must have been some implicit change from 1.1.5 to 1.2.2, making Tomahawk a required element, instead of optional as it appeared to be in 1.1.5.

  • How to solve: The JVM shared library "/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework" does not contain the JNI_CreateJavaVM symbol ?

    I cannot run Eclipse or Aptana any more because I get the following error
    The JVM shared library "/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework"
    does not contain the JNI_CreateJavaVM symbol.
    I already tired to reinstall Java from the oracle website but it does not help.

    By everything, did you mean eclipse and java?

  • Framework could not initialize IAC [...]

    Hello
    I have a problem I don't understand at all... I made some changes to a tileset and its tiles in a changelist. They are all basic changes (corrections of specific methods, translations, field mode change, etc...)
    In Mobile Sales, when I try to go to that tileset, I get an error "Framework could not initialize IAC Product Details (Tcamcprodl2)"
    What I don't understand is, when I select the "Break on all errors" option (<i>standard for debugging on VB6, but with MSA it is just impossible because of all these "On Error Resume Next" or errors just discarded with an error handler put just before the End Sub statement, all in the standard code, not specific... Hmm ok, I stop complaining ;)</i>   ) it stops right in the <b>ICustIAC_assign</b> method, though it is added in the code auto-formatting, with an Error 13 : Type mismatch.
    (note :
    Somehow this method is called by another which has an On Error statement, because with the "Break on Unhandled Errors" option the application crashes on an onUpdate event, at the first attempt to use a control in a method without error handling (Error 19 : Object variable or With block variable not set...).
    Private Sub ICustIAC_assign(objects() As Variant, ByVal level As EAssignLevel)
            Select Case level
                   Case ealControls
    >>>               Set ctrlTPM_Brand = objects(0)
                      Set ctrlTPM_Category = objects(1)
                      Set ctrlctrlHierarchyT = objects(2)
                      Set ctrlctrlMainProductT = objects(3)
    Ok so here, I added a watch on the <i>objects()</i> variable, it contains all my objects but their order is wrong : after modifying the indexes the code went on without crashing.
    I don't know how the objects order is defined, but when I check my changelist (among the open changelists, the only one considering this tile) I don't see anything except that I changed some fields view mode from Normal or ReadOnly to Hidden. I also modified methods but they are considered after <b>CustIAC_assign</b>
    What can I do, as that method is not available in Mobile Application Studio ?
    -edit-
    I checked the changes made to the tile itself (it seems that I only changed the fields display mode) and in the Version Tree chose "Copy to open version" with the previous release. After the generation, the error has disappeared !
    I think I will re-apply the changes in the onLoad method, the only little drawback being that the user will see the controls disappear if their system is not fast enough at that time.

    Hmm.... I really don't get it !
    Considering the tile <b>paschoicewinTCWSearch</b> (in MSA, Marketing/Products then the search tile of the popup to add products) :
    - I built it recursively from the Baseline to revert any changes I made before : OK, I can access it
    - I modified the onClicked method for the CLEAR button : OK after building recursively
       '[FFE] 2007.04.05 : Always empty the "Division" field
       If bDivisionReadOnly Then
            'ctrlDivisionI.Value = szDivisionValue
            ctrlDivisionI.Value = ""
        End If
    - I modified the onLoad button of the Tile : after building recursively or not (between each I build from the Baseline to be sure it still works), I get the error described in my previous posts (Framework could not initialize IAC (TpaschoicewinTCWSearch) when I want to open the popup)!!
    '[FFE] 2007.04.05 : Always empty the Division field
    'ctrlDivisionI.Value = szDivisionValue
    ctrlDivisionI.Value = ""
    Because the method now appears in my changelist, in the Version Tree I chose "copy to open version" with the baseline version, so that I have only the 1st change with CLEAR button, and... I still get the error
    Do you think I should try to release that changelist so that I can rebuild the application with "Generate All" (+ check the "Make DLL" option) ?
    For now I am putting this change aside, if any solution is found I will be happy to re-open my changelist and fix it.
    Thanks and Regards,
    François

  • Junit .framework.* not found

  • Managed Beta 2 - Entity Framework projects not working

    Tried to do the simplest EF test I can think of:
    1. Removed all the Oracle stuff on my system, to get rid of the developer tools and such. Reinstalled the stock 11.2.3.0 client (without developer tools). Installed the new managed beta 2 in a new home, with development tools.
    2. Create a new .net 4 project (C# console app).
    3. Create a new Oracle connection, using the managed provider. Browsed tables around a bit, and this works.
    4. Create a new EF model, load tables from the database. This also works.
    Where it goes wrong is when I try to run it and do a query, I get this:
    ArgumentException: The specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid.
    Inner ArgumentException: "Unable to find the requested .Net Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed."
    Explicitly adding a reference to Oracle.ManagedDataAccess and setting Copy Local = True didn't change anything. I'm not sure at this point what it's looking for, but it's not finding it.
    Also tried adding a configuration section and setting TNS_ADMIN, just in case it was that. That didn't solve it either. In fact I had to add this to the top of the config file to get it to even run after setting up the config:
    <section name="oracle.manageddataaccess.client" type="OracleInternal.Common.ODPMSectionHandler, Oracle.ManagedDataAccess, Version=4.112.3.60, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89b483f429c47342" />
    I'll update the post if I figure out what's going wrong here, but it seems like this should be working.

    Answered my own question. Probably should have known this one since I ran into it in beta 1.
    This needs to be added to the config file:
    <system.data>
            <DbProviderFactories>
              <add name="ODP.NET, Managed Driver" invariant="Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client"
                   description="Oracle Data Provider for .NET, Managed Driver"
                   type="Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client.OracleClientFactory, Oracle.ManagedDataAccess, Version=4.112.3.60, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89b483f429c47342" />
            </DbProviderFactories>
          </system.data>Not 100% sure on that public key token, but it seems to work.

  • Error: package junit.framework. does not exist

    Hello All,
    BACKGROUND: I am attempting to "test" a simple program using JUnit 4.1 and Sun's App Server 9, where I have a bean calling a method on a remote component bean.
    My program errors because it says that the junit classes do not exist for my import statement (import junit.framework.*;). I placed the junit-4.1.jar in the classpath by adding this path where it resides to the system's CLASSPATH and PATH variables (%JUNIT_HOME%\junit-4.1.jar.........where juint_home = C:\junit4.1).
    QUESTION: Could there be a versioning issue? Do I need to place something else in the classpath? Is there some other issue?
    Details:
    1. I tested a junit class in the command promt to make sure that it was in the classpath by typing javap junit.framework.TestCase, and it reported the back the API instead of an error...so the junit jar file is on the classpath.
    2. I copied and pasted the junit jar files in the same folder as my source files to make sure that it was on the class path and I still received that error.
    Thanks
    Rodney
    null

    junit.framework is a package in junit.jar. You will need this in the path that you pass to your compile step, you need something like this:
    <path id="class.path">
              <pathelement location="${dest}" />
              <fileset dir="${lib}" includes="*.jar" />
              <pathelement location="${extras}/junit/junit.jar" />
         </path>and then you use that in your compile:
         <target name="compile" depends="init">
              <javac classpathref="class.path" destdir="${dest}/classes" srcdir="${src}"  debug="true" />
         </target>of course if you want to run the tests from ant you may need to include the jar file for optional ant junit task in ant's library if its not already there.

  • Runtime Framework Profile not visible

    Hi,
    I am not able to find the step mentioned below in cook book for CRM 5.0
    1.     Choose Implementation Guide (IMG) activity Customer Relationship Management -u2192 Interaction Center WebClient u2192 Customer-Specific System Modifications u2192 Define IC WebClient Runtime Framework Profiles.
    Can somebody provide me with the tcode.
    Thanks ,
    Sanju

    Hi Sanju
    The IMG path for that would be as follows:
    IMG > Customer Relationship Management > UI Framework > UI Framework Definition > Maintain Runtime Framework Profile.
    Please try to access it via IMG path rather than TCode.
    Tcodes from 5.0 are not quite reliable in CRM 6.0.
    Here's an example.
    For Account identification in CRM 6.0 the path is
    IMG > Customer Relationship Management > Interaction Center WebClient > Master Data > Define Account Identification Profiles.
    The tcode from 5.0 is CRMC_IC_BPPROF, which works in 6.0. You will see that at first look it seems identical but you'll find "Relationship" and "Object Components" missing from Dialog structure.
    I have found several instances of such 5.0 tcodes. So access via img path is more reliable.

    I think I need to fix the fact that the build is trying to run the aspnet_compiler.exe from the v2.0.50727 folder. C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\aspnet_compiler.exe
    Do you think that is the main problem, and if so, How do I do that?
    Crazy question.  What would happen if I put the aspnet_compiler.exe from the v2.0 folder into the 4.0 folder?

    Hello JJQuinn,
    I don't recommend you do that since I'm not sure if there is any upgrade to this tool.
    So I checked my 4.0 folder I can find the tool aspnet_compiler.exe and I compared the two files
    As you can see, they are totally different. So I believe you will still get errors if you copy 2.0 version to 4.0 version.
    I have this idea, if you still want to target to .NET 2.0 version, please enable .NET 3.5 on your OS. It seems it is not by default enabled on Server 2012 or Win 8.
    If .NET 4.0 folder missed the aspnet_compiler.exe, you may need to fix .NET 4.0 first, try sfc /scannow to repair your OS and check whether the .NET 4.0 folder will have that file.
    Best regards,
    Barry

  • Ajax Framework / Buttonpositions not saved after logout

    Hi there,
    in the AJAX Frameworkpage i can sort the Buttons in the Header as i wish with drag and drop as you know.. but when i logoff and login again the Buttons are on the position as before...
    How can i save the position of the Buttons for me?
    Regards
    Bjoern

    Hi,
    Please Assign that Iview to any Role -> user and Login with that user to check whether the iview of masthead is running with your new change. (ignoring framework, Running mastgead iview like any other application iview)
    if working, then the frame work has some issue and we can suggest accordingly. Else, if iview is not running with your changes, then the change itself is not reflecting and par file has to be checked. accordingly we can suggest.
    Please check and let us know whether you are facing issue in Framework setting or in par file itself.

  • Help with Spry Framework positioning not appearing correctly on pc's

    I just created a gallery using the spry framework and finally got it working for me on all the browsers I have on my Mac.  The problem is that on my clien'ts pc the gallery div tags end up moving up to the upper left corner and I'm not sure why.  They are ap div tags that are supposed to be contained in my main content div and I'm at a lost as to why this is happening. I'm not the best at working directly with code or understanding it fully, usually do most everything with dreamweaver.  I appreciate any help that you can give me and thanks for your time.

  • Adapter Framework Service Not Starting!

    Hi,
    We are currently experiencing a critical failure of our XI 3.0 production server. It was taken down for maintenance over the weekend and when it was brought back up we are receiving the error:
    com.sap.engine.frame.ServiceException: <--Localization failed: ResourceBundle='com.sap.engine.frame.KernelResourceBundle', ID='Instantiating the Adapter Framework service (
    Seems to be some issue which is preventing the adapter framework service from starting... We are on a 64bit clustered server setup on Windows, we are running XI 3.0 SP19.
    We use various different adapters, JDBC, File etc... and the Seeburger AS2 adapter for  EDI.
    Availability Time Planning and Comm Channel corruption has been fingered as the possible cause but we cannot disable these via the RWB because the relevant service is not starting...
    If anyone has experienced an issue please let me know how this was resolved...
    Thanks,
    Pete

    Thanks for the responses...
    The server has been running perfectly for several months.
    Due to volume of messages and some memory related issues we are migrating our servers to 64bit Windows Server 2003. We migrated our 32bit server 2 months ago to some temporary hardware and are now moving back to the original hardware. The database was exported last week from the temp hardware and applied to the original hardware. This weekend we were intending to do a switchover so we powered down the temp hardware and powered up the original but it wouldnt start. So our contingency was to continue using the temp hardware only... Now it wont come up either...
    Nothing of note has changed on the server since the original migration...
